This a great small business. I would rather go here then Home Depot. They have a lot of stuff but and almost everything I need. The service is great. Sometimes it is packed on the weekends with all the people. So I try to go during the week. But if you ask them a question, they will try and help the best they can and also show you. Which is great customer service and rare these days. I would rather give them my business.

This place never disappoints. Been coming here for nearly 45 years, since I was just a toddler, with my dad. Now hes gone and I still go, regularly. Love the staff. So friendly and knowledgeable. Always have what I need. I dont bother with the big stores. They usually dont carry the items I need without ordering them and waiting for 7 days to come in.

Looks well stocked, not much for customer service though, Im a tiny woman, guy expected me to tie something up on top of my suv. Not kool, cant purchase what I want 😕 wish I had called in advance, would have not wasted 40 minutes of my time.

Have a propane project, struck out at Big Box hardware store, came to my local Ace..like commercials say. Walked to Service Desk, promptly met by elder gray hair gentleman - who laughed me away saying “there’s nothing in this store that will work”.I came into find a solution or at least some direction and I got mocked. He did say that “something may exist somewhere”, and that was the extent of his assistance.

Discovered this place on Thanksgiving day while every franchise home supply and repair place was closed. The store is super nice and clean. Their shelves are stocked and their service was excellent. The workers there are extremely one on one in helping you find what you are looking for and have a great attitude. My new favorite spot to go to. I even received an 2021 Calendar from them. Thank you for making my emergency repair come thru on this holiday! I will be sure to return.

Ive been going to K & L Hardware for years... their customer service is second to none, their whole staff is very knowledgable about everything in their store and they can help you with just about any project youre working on! Theyre our local mom and pop hardware store which is close to home, quick, convenient and affordable, and as I said their customer service is the best its not like the hardware super centers which are too big and if your lucky enough to even find an employee they probably dont really know what theyre talking about. I definitely recommend going to K & L over Lowes or Homedepot Im pretty positive it will be a better experience.

It seems like a fairly standard hardware store, lots to choose from, shelves stuffed with choices. It is easy to locate, parking is rather minimal but I got lucky (4 stars). In some ways it looks like it was once an ACE hardware, as layout is nearly exact to one I visited in Newport. Employees were busy, but not very friendly (again, 4 stars, not 5). Other than that, it will likely have any hardware one could need.

If you need any hardware this place is it they are very helpful and they have lots of stuff for your home needs

Excellent service, they truly have part that you never seen in a long time. Garden tools and sprinklers. When to get a gopher hawk, something they do not have a other hardware stores. Truly enjoy looking around the store.

I ordered a Lasko wall-mounted fan online via the Ace Hardware website, and came here to pick it up as it was available same day. It took less than 30 minutes for my order to be ready for pickup.The store is easy to find and see from the street. When I arrived, I wasnt sure whether to go to the front register or the service desk in the back. After standing in line for a minute or two, one of the employees finished helping another customer find something, and I asked her. She was extremely helpful, told me that its back at the service desk and went back there with me to take care of it right away. I told her the order, she went to the back and grabbed the fan, brought it out, verified my ID, gave me a copy of my receipt, and even offered to help me with it out to the car. I declined, as it wasnt heavy, just slightly bulky. Very friendly and helpful.With the ongoing pandemic, some people have major concerns about businesses, their policies and whether they enforce them. Every employee and customer wore a mask, stayed an appropriate distance apart (line markers on the ground leading up to the register) and had a clear sign posted up front. No concerns there. They also offer curbside pickup if you call when you arrive, so you dont have to leave your vehicle if thats a concern.Ace Hardware stores are few and far between around here, and its nice to know that theres one nearby and that I can order online to pick up. Larger hardware stores like Home Depot are great for big trips or large items, but can be a little overwhelming to find smaller or single-item purchases. K and L has better prices, appears to be locally owned (franchising the Ace Hardware name as well), easy to find, small enough to not feel overwhelmed in and stocked well enough to likely have what you need. If you can get what youre looking for from this place (which you can find online at acehardware.com, or call them), I would recommend this place over the larger stores like Home Depot or Lowes.I order a lot of my miscellaneous hardware online, but theres plenty of times I need something right away that cant wait. You wont have to spend 5 minutes walking across the store to get what you need, or try to hunt down an employee to help you find it. Its small enough, big enough, and an employee is always nearby.10 of 10, would recommend ;)

They have a ton of stuff cramped in such a lil building. You find just about anything you need for building what you like. From nuts, screws, & bolts. To sandpaper, wood polish, paint & signs.

Tiny place compare to Home Depot. But much more organized, more selection and very experienced and supportive staff.It may be an alternative to Home Depot, but Ill say it early replaces Home Depot with no traffic inside. No lines and same verity of products.

Talk about old fashioned personal business. The owner personally helped me with a part I needed. Even went into the back storage that I bet hasnt seen sunlight in years. He found what I needed and gave me a great price. Now that is service.

One of the last real hardware stores around anymore. Please, give this place your money of you can keep from places like home depot. Ace and K&L are as big a part of the community here as any one of us. They have EVERYTHING. Odd end nuts and bolts by the pound, dowels, steel and wood by the bushel, very convenient for home owners and hobbyists. No ridiculous mark up, and friendly faces all around.

Compared to other hardware stores, the store is very neat and tidy. Although it is compact, they have a wider variety and selection of tools and hardware. Feel free to ask for help because you probably will need it to find what you need unless you come here often and know where everything is. Everything is fairly priced and there’s a very friendly staff.
