My first time here and I was beyond in heaven to see the vast amount of ethnic and hair care products, to hair galore! It’s a candy store for people who love hair care and products. Everything you can imagine and more is available to you. The owners are knowledgeable and give great customer service and recommendations if you get overwhelmed or want to try something new! Definitely come for the products and for the customer service.

Love, love me some Goodison. Joy keeps hair supplies that are hard to find in other stores. The store may be a little packed and hard to get around but there is always someone there to help you out.

I use to love this store. I like it however I dont love it anymore. If you dont know how much stuff cost they will over charge you. Also the lady will tell you one price however when you go pay the guy would charge you a different price. My daughter went to the store to get some stuff for me and they charged my bank card twice also they over charge her because I was in the store earlier and got the same thing and they charged her $10 more. Yes they did fix the issue so I didnt really think about it to much however my other daughter went in the yesterday to get two packs(4x) of hair that cost $8.99 and so edge control that cost $5.99 and they charged her $36 around $10 more smh. I had to call the store so they can fix This mistake too. This isnt the only time they have over charged my daughters however it wasnt this much.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I’m currently in town visiting from Las Vegas and my mom and I wanted to buy some items to dye our hair and stock up on manicure and pedicure items. We usually go to Sally’s, but we decided to try out this place to support small businesses but boy did we regret that decision. My mom and I were helping each other pick out hair colors and after about 10 mins, the lady (which I presume was the owner) suddenly comes up to us and rudely tells us that the store is now closed due to the holiday and awkwardly stood next to us until we left the aisle. My mom and I were very confused, as they never mentioned anything to us upon our arrival that they were closing soon and it was 2:22 PM, which seemed like such an odd time to close. Since I hadn’t decided on a color yet, I politely placed my items back on the shelves and my mom ended up purchasing just her hair dye. However, once we were leaving the store, a new customer was coming in and as we tried to advise her that the store was closed, the owner told her that it was okay to go on in and shop. We were completely baffled to say the least. I told my mom to ask for a refund due to the treatment we received and the lady alleged that the card terminal was closed already, so she wouldn’t be able to process the refund until Tuesday, which I believe was a blatant lie because she had just charged our card a few minutes prior and more customers had gone into the store at that point to purchase things. My mom will be returning to the store on Tuesday for the refund she was promised, otherwise, we will be submitting a chargeback through our bank and making a complaint to the BBB. Spare yourself the trouble and just go to Sally’s across the street, where the staff is way more professional and helpful. Or if you’re looking for nail supplies, I would also recommend the nail shop that’s on the other side of Cardenas in this same shopping center. That place is also a small business; however, they actually treat their customers with respect and are very useful in helping you find what you need.

You find a great variety of hair here the best around, its just the lady that owns the place is really mean so dont be surprised if you get into an argument with her shopping there

This beauty supply is pretty much, a one stop shop for all your styling and beauty needs. I frequent this location because they carry a product that I live by and offer it in colors I have literally seen no place else. I travel 30 minutes or more because of the variety alone. The mom and pop type couple that operate the store are always so welcoming and helpful. Ive never had a bad visit. Only issue Ive faced as of yet was trying to decide upon what colors to put together!

She has this young lady that works for her she has the most beautiful spirit and very good at her job I love the fact that I can understand when she speaks and she makes u feel so comfortable luv it oh and they do have a lot of products always find what Im looking for

A big selection of everything, but I couldnt look around to decide what I wanted, I had to be told what everyone else likes instead of me making my own decisions, then the Chinese lady manager tells me to leave just because I went outside to the car and came back. Come back another time. Dont worry. I wont. Insulted, controlled, manipulated, and kicked out. I didnt need to waste my gas for this s***.

My daughter and I came into this store, looking to get hair extensions. The first thing we noticed was that there were no employees to assist us so we just started to walk around unknowingly where to start. We do not know anything about hair extensions, and would’ve appreciated some assistance. When we noticed some extensions that we liked, we started to place our hair next the packaged hair to compare and match our hair colors, and that’s when a lady loudly demanded not to open any packages (which is something we weren’t doing or planning on doing). Another few minutes later, in front of her other customers, she loudly shouted, “Don’t mess it up! Get me next time! You’re messing it up!” After that, we simply left the store, shocked from the completely unwelcoming, impolite atmosphere. Instead, we went to Bobo’s Beauty Supply in Rancho Cucamonga. In there, we were immediately greeted and assisted by kind, welcoming employees. If you’re looking for excellent service, skip this place and go to Bobo’s!

Customer service here is abysmal. I’ve been a regular at this store for a couple years because of their huge selection but the couple who own the store are incredibly nasty, rude, and (dare I say) racist, so I will be taking my business elsewhere. During my most recent visit, the lady followed me and my mother around the store eyeing us as if we were stealing, and she was rude and dismissive when we asked for help. The man at checkout was also very dry and rude. Unbelievable considering we shop here quite frequently and have been nothing but polite and decent. I understand that shoplifting is an issue but regardless, this is absolutely no way to treat paying customers. The store itself is dismal, uncomfortably stuffy and hot, and way overcrowded with products, many of which (hair products, certain makeup, lotions/shea butters) seem expired, dried out, and/or old. Yes the selection is good, but not worth the prices or the blatantly disrespectful treatment.

Theyre rude and over price, it seems as though prices increase monthly... owners follow you on every aisle. This store is cluttered if youre not careful can trip or easily knock products over, and not everything is labeled with organization or priced for ease of shopping.

Goodus is open later than most other beauty supply. They have so many products in my opionion you have to kind of know what you want. If you dont the lady joy I believe is her name she will help you. And she will tell you the truth. If that color hair doesnt look good on you she will tell you. I also like that there is a salon in back where you can get the hair put in. Ive never used it but thats a great idea. I got hair,, earrings, a pair of leggings, and edge control plus a bra and panties for under $60! The only reason I gave them a 3 is because of all their products they have.

VERY RUDE!!! Would give them a zero star if I could! Walked in because of my sister and lady pretty much kicked us out because she was “leaving” she followed us around while we were looking and she had to call her employee to follow us too when we would separate!

Unfortunately we were racial profiled here! I just politely walked out and remained neutral because I was hurt more then angry at the time. Anytime I touched something the Asian owner behind the corner had her sales representative who seemed to be Hispanic follow me and recount the things I touched. I found the sales representative nice so I politely asked her why she is doing that and she said that her boss always makes her do that to your kind and you really shouldnt support this store. I told her thank you girl and I walked out. I truly do appreciate the sales associate for her honesty because I already looked up and viewed the owner directing her my way to count the highlighters I had previously touched. Its disappointing nonetheless!

My first experience there was with my 7 yr old son who even caught the scandalous vibe towards us I came a hr before closing looking for weaving hair in the aisle the husband and wife kept screaming we are about to close what do you want, I said idk I’m still looking the husband rushed to the aisle started rushing through the hair throwing it at my face we have this this pick something we about to close or jus I said I know that he throws his hand up and said well just leave come back tomorrow. My son said mom why are they treating us like that I was so hurt when I left the store I just sat in the car for 5 min just to gather myself. VERY RACIST AND PUSHY PEOPLE.

We drive from Victorville to this shop, there is an employee named Pooh who is very attentive towards thier customers. There is a woman named Joy, who I believe is the owner of the shop and is bad for business. I guess when her employee is not there, she decides to price her hair off the top of her head and act like shes giving you a discount. Not to mention Joy is very rude to her customers, and has smelly dirty bare feet while she walks around the store.

Ms.Moore who braids hair in this salon did my braid literally 6 days ago and they started falling off, I called her to see what she can do as a business person, and in response I got yelling and a horrible customer experience. Never would suggest anyone to invest $80+ here.

Come here when I need something quick. Agree with a previous post this lady does have issues she just sees me often so doesnt give me much trouble. Once I was in here however, went to the back of the aisle to look at the braiding hair and shes yelling at me can I help you about 6 or 7 times. I said Im fine a few times but she kept saying can i help you until another patron had to jump in and say, she said she is fine. Hate coming to places like this where Asians dont mind taking our money but want to act like we are going to steal from them. Rarely come into this place. Okay so I have to say, mostly the comments in regards to the staff being rude, and rushing and especially being followed around as if I were a thief. But I have to say its not about race, she follows EVERYONE. She followed me around, and Im a 40+ white lady. So it is true shes rude but equally rude to ALL!
