First time there. Waiting area is very nice and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff, quality service with no sales pitch and very reasonable price for an oil and filter change. Owner even came and talked to us for a little while.

I am fortunate enough to live close to this location & decided to stop in one day to see about getting my new AC compressor installed. I liked the people I met in the office, Ryan is a straight up kind of dude & tells you what the job will take in both time & money. They finished the job & it turned out that I needed to replace the expansion valve as well as the compressor. I ordered the new part & they vacuumed out the AC system for me to do that minor repair myself. They also recharged the system for me at no additional cost. I certainly didnt expect anything extra, since they had done the job I had originally paid them for, but they offered & followed through for me. That is fantastic service.So my next big job that I didnt feel qualified for, timing bent, water pump, belt tensioner, etc, I didnt hesitate to schedule an appointment with Ryan & his crew. Again the job was done on-time (ahead of schedule in fact) & done right.We all know its tough to find a good, reliable shop that wont try to sell you a bunch of stuff you dont need. You can trust these guys to tell you what they know & you can trust that its not some upselling BS. Great people, great service, great price, thats what you get here. This is my go to location from here on out.

Dont waste $Money & time going anywhere else. Ryan knows his stuff & is insanely honest, which if youve had experiences like me, finding these qualities in a mechanic is like finding a Unicorn.I just spent about $4,000, months of time in & out of the shop plus money spent renting cars & uber at another shop trying to figure out why my Jeep keeps overheating. Ryan diagnosed it in about 15 minutes ordered the part ahead for me so when I came back he completed the job in 1 day I drove up the 330 just after with ac on 93 degrees outside & not overheating in fact the need barley even moved.

Ryan was great! He helped me with a prepurchase inspection and brought me under the car to take pictures of everything. He also recommended that i ask the dealership i was buying from to do a couple repairs and saved me a ton of money. thank you!!

Was able to drop off the car in the AM and get an oil change without an appointment. The shop also diagnosed the check engine light and made a couple of suggestions on how to fix the minor problem. We will definitely be using this shop in the future as they are much more up front and honest on top of having reasonable pricing!

Made an appointment for wheel alignment, paid much less than I did at other shops, service was done quickly, waiting area comfortable. Took my car in for a much needed wheel alignment and Ryan took great care of my service. The waiting area is large and comfortable and there are drinks and snacks for customers. I had a very good experience here and intend to take my car here for other service that it needs.

Brought our 2013 Jeep Wrangler with 150k miles and some customisation here. Was having significant issues with the death wobble. Was almost undrivable by the time I got it in to the shop. 48h later problems were diagnosed, car was fixed, and I drove it off the lot in practically brand new condition. I was regularly updated by phone and told whcih repair items were critical and which could wait. Felt very taken care of and certainly the most trustworthy mechanic Ive ever been in to see. And, as an added bonus, my car had been taken through the wash and had the interior vacuumed. Cant recommend more highly!

I have been a customer of Car Doctors for about 8 years...and I have multiple vehicles that I take to them. After moving locations their prices have risen steadily and I no longer feel they offer good value. They arent nearly as busy as they used to be and I believe this is why. There are better shops out there that offer a better value for your money.

Afterwards the owner (who worked on my car) came out to speak with me and gave me great information on what was going on and what he recommended. Was very honest. Even added some oil and coolant (not part of the service) free of charge because of the unique problem. Will definitely come back in the future for car needs

Drive a 94 Ford Ranger . Iam 68 years old, have been to countless auto shops, and have never found a shop to top this place.

I needed a simple repair and stopped in because the place looks clean and legit. Around 9:30am I walked through front door and up to the front desk to inquire about service however there was nobody inside the lobby. The TV was on full blast, room felt cozy, coffee was freshly made, but not a soul in sight. I waited at the front desk a few minutes for someone to come however nobody showed. I look over at the garage area and saw someone, who appeared to be a mechanic, smoking a cigarette and other guys off in a distance working on a vehicle. After 5 minutes of waiting I decided it was best to to go somewhere else who would welcome my business. Not sure how what to do other than to leave this review.

The lady that was in charge on that Saturday about 3 weeks ago was friendly and very helpful. My check engine light was on. She asked one of the mechanics to do initial quick test and suggested me to get a replacement gas cap, all without charging a fee! Her solution works wonder and saved me hundreds, if not thousand, of money and she saved me a lot of headache of not having my car if they were to do major repair. I really appreciate the honesty and the good attitude of not taking advantage of women that most of the time dont understand much about car issues.

Do not go here!! They are cheats, and there prices are outrageous. I used to get my car fixed there all the time when they were located on Redlands Boulevard and Anderson. Once they moved to Waterman and Redlands Boulevard not sure what happened. But I went twice and both times had terrible experiences. The first time was a wait time of over three hours as I sat there and watched my car not be touched and it only took them 20 minutes to fix it. After I had complained about It. The Second time took my car in because my car would not start they wanted to charge me well over 1000.00 for parts and labor. But they had my car all day Friday called me on Saturday to say it would be fixed until Monday. So I went somewhere else. Paid only $300. To get it fixed. I didn’t need an alternator like they were going to charge me just a battery I did however still have to pay them 129.98 for them to Diagnose that wasn’t even true.

My wife got a flat and simply wanted a used tire. It took them over an hour to change the tire. Then they tell her that she needs new wheel hub bearings. I know that the wheel hubs are fine because I just changed them a few months prior. Now the side where the tire was changed is making noises. This is why I hate most Mechanic’s shops. They see a woman and think they can just scare them into paying for work that isn’t needed. If I find that my wheel hub is loose or was changed out for a bad one, you will be hearing from my lawyer.

This was easily the most simple & painless adapter/tire installation EVER. I love the can do attitude of the service representatives and the technicians. Initially I viewed my vehicle as a science project, but they made the experience a walk in the park.Even the wait in the lobby while my vehicle was serviced felt like a mini vacation from the current Covid-19 pandemic. They treat customers like family and give feedback before, during, and after installation to ensure the desired outcome.The prices are reasonable and staff is very transparent with the breakdown of the costs. On a separate note Christy is a goddess; she helped make my experience awesome & made me feel like a priority. Wish there were more people like her. The primary technician who did the installation of the tires/adapters was incredible as well; provided clarity & advice maneuvering.

Took my Sonata in to Car Doctors for crunching sound in steering system. Car Doctors called to let me know that Hyundai issued a recall for the steering system. Car Doctors set up an appointment at Hyundai for repair under the recall saving me $1,000! Thank you, Car Doctors!

I am currently writing this review because i absolutely felt the need to. My car (1997 BMW M3) has been having many issues lately. I love this car and need help. German cars are often extremely pricey for both parts and labor. I spoke to the owner Ryan and the level of satisfaction that he gave me through his detailed information, his customer service, patience,and overall service was amazing. He has truly helped me with great, unbelievable pricing, extremely fast service, and very helpful tips. My car isnt even fixed yet! (Its still at the shop) and i just feel compelled to write a great review about these guys. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! Ask for Ryan or Brian!!

Attention : Car doctor ownerFirst and foremost, I will apologize for making this bad reviews publicly due to your mechanics either needs to have deciplinary actions or they just dont care or very inconsiderate to your customer(s) property.FYI, pictures and all receipts will follow or be included to back up my complaints.On 9/11/19, I was in your shop to do change oil. Your mechanic Julian left some Greasy dirt in multiple areas in and outside of my car.1. Greasy dirt both handles of my car in and outside from his hands by not wearing gloves2. Arm wrist panel in the driver side from his arm-wrist being Greasy3. Greasy dirt from his shoes next to myfloor-mat panel4. Driver side seat on right handside from him (he adjust the sitAnyway, when i saw these..i called Christy to informed her how disappointed I am with that mechanic. She adviced me to come back for him to see or clean it up.He did wiped down everything else EXCEPT my upholstery. He even asked me if i have a a brush to clean up. Who in the Frick-frack will carry a brush in your car to clean my upholstery is something that he had caused?Next complaint, was on 6/6/19. Again, i went in to your shop so that your mechanic can check or install my rear 3rd brake light. Whoever this mechanic was, again..when he took off my back panel so that he can take or check the brake light : he NOT only leaved the Greasy dirt on my car also..and he installed this panel unevenly to a point when I drove home, it makes squeaky noise. Again, Christy was informed about this. i did NOT turn around and have this mechanic re-do what he did, because i went somewhere else instead.Anyway, twice business in a row from your shop..two different mechanics, left greasy dirts to your customer(s property. Im not sure if they are aware of leaving the dirt behind but at least..have these employees wear disposable arm wrist protections, gloves, shoe booties to protect your angry customer having to have the bad reviews like mine.Again, I am doing this review for a better service in the future than your competitors out there.Your customers, should be handled with care. Because your customers, brings business to you.

Filled low tires for free, did not even ask for payment, very nice!!!

I went in for a free AC check. They checked the AC, but they added freon without asking me first. You should really tell people what you are going to do/how much it will cost before you do it. So I found myself paying $60 (I had to talk him down from $80) for a free ac check. I could have filled my own freon for much less than $60. Anyway, for things other than AC maybe youll be fine, but dont fall into their free AC check trap.

And they charged me just to check the computer even though I got the work done there. ???Theyve done a lot of good work for me in the past but recently their prices have gone way up.3 stars because they do good work and theyre nice people.

Fast service and decent prices

Weve always had great experiences with the car doctors. Theyre honest people and they certainly know their stuff. They do car repair, oil changes, transmission repair, and other basic car fixes.They do a great job of explaining what the problems are and provide multiple options for fixes. Its always my first stop when my car has a problem.

I used to go to them a while back! They are great at communicating with their customers. And they give you great advice on everything car related.

I have been using Car Doctors for over 10 years and would not go anywhere else. After trying many other mechanics closer to my home in Redlands, the Car Doctors in Loma Linda are honest, competent and timely. It is certainly worth the extra miles traveled to avoid the stress I had from other mechanics. The only problem with car doctors was the parking. But, they just moved to a huge, new location, down the street and this problem is now gone. Keep up the honest work guys!

I desperately needed my tires mounted on my wheels and I showed up here 45 minutes before they closed and was told “we close in 10 minutes”. Very happy to be informed of the poor service without getting a service from them. I’d recommend elsewhere.

Not sure why there has not been more reviews done on this place. They are EXCELLENT in all aspects. I have gone to them for brakes, routine oil changes and a few repairs here and there (leaking hoses etc.) and I have always been very pleased with their honesty, low prices, friendliness and great car service. And the waiting area is clean. Its always busy but never takes too long for a repair or oil change (generally 30-45 minutes which is routine for oil changes).

These guys are the best. The only ones I trust with my vehicles. They are always honest and fair with pricing. Due to their popularity, sometimes its a (long) wait. But its worth it to know Im not being upsold on repairs I dont need. Their new location has a play area for kids as well as seating for adults. I cant say enough good things about Car Doctors.

They need a better mechanic fixed my car and I broke down after leaving to go home on freeway. The car lost power and not much I could do. I dont recommend them Christy was great too bad she isnt a mechanic. So after a nitemere day and nite Im still without a car and paid out lots of money and for what??

The two brothers who own this shop are so honest and definitely want to get you back on the road for as cheap as they can. From my personally experience, theyre fast and efficient with their time. Theyve definitely improved in their turnaround times and seem to do the same jobs for lower pricing.I walked in without an appointment and was able to get a front brake pad replacement done within two hours. They had me out of these and on my way without any problem. Its really hard to come across honest car mechanics but these guys are truly great people. They wont try to overcharge you and wont tell you that you need to fix something right away if it isnt absolutely necessary. Check them out!

Super fast service when I need D.M.V services I just cross the street

Every time I go to Car Doctors, I go away amazed at their competency, their exceptional helpfulness and courtesy, and the way they bend over backwards to provide service with integrity. More than once I have had them go beyond what is normal and expected in order to save me time and money. I am nursing a 14 year old car through one more year of service before I retire. They never try to upsell me with dozens of items that could probably be justified but are not really necessary like most repair shops do. I work in Loma Linda but live in Riverside and I will continue to drive over here for service after I retire. Car Doctors of Loma Linda are the best!

I have been coming to this place for a while now. They are very organized and honest!

True story: came in to have alternator replaced on 2010 Acura. They quoted me $400 for part, $230 for labor. Expect to pay $660ish after tax but no, its $760. Extra $90 for diagnostic fee...after having established it was alternator and even so, doesnt take much to see thats its the alternator. Checked forum, alternator should NOT cost that much. Make sure they dont pull quick ones on you like typical shady mechanics do...

Wow absolutely Great service and I saved $$$$. I get off work at 4-430 and I needed a wheel alignment done asap.the other company put me off twice with an appointment and I couldnt wait another day. So I called the car doctor they said bring it by. I pull up to a packed parking lot and I tell the guys inside my story BAMMM before I know it my trucks on the lift works being done and they greased it for(for free) me because they noticed it needed lube. And my truck was done 30 mins later insane ... Thank you very much guys I appreciate your great work.

I would like to retract my good review I gave the Car Doctors titled Leary. I was Leary for a reason. I spent 3800.00 on my Grand Caravan. They told me my timing belt was broke. Im felt that was a little excessive, but I dont know much about cars. AAA recommend them, so I thought it must beOk. Wrong. I havent had my car back a month yet. It came back leaking, I had no leaks prior to going to them. Then one day my car started to drag, like it was the transmission, so I stopped and had it towed to my nieces house, because the Cars Doctors were closed and AAA wouldnt leave it on the street unsecured. They next day I had it towed to the Car Doctors at my expense because, I had reach my limit with AAA. I told Rick what happened and he said he would call me back with estimate at no charge to me.Rick called me and told my transmission need ed to be replaced. Now get this. He said it would cost me 5000.00. Now keep in mind I just paid 3800.00. I knew right then, they are rip off artist, supported by AAA.. I can buy a new engine for 5000.00. So, I had my car towed again to my nieces house @ my expense.I called two other auto shops they quoted m 2800.00 and 2500.00 respectively, only a 300.00 difference. Instead of almost a 50%Difference in price with the Car Doctors.So after having it towed back to my nieces house. My cousin looked at the car found that the top to the transmission fluid was gone. He looked closer and found the top sitting on battery. They forgot to put it back on. So we put to quarts of transmission fluid in, put the top back on, now my van runs fine.. No signs of a car needing a new teams transmission.The Car Doctors are liars and ripoffs. I will never go back. They over charge, AAA must be getting kick backs, because they still refer to these guys dispite all these complaints. Rick isVery nice, but will rip you off.

They are dishonest. Charged me $233 for two tires that should have cost less than $150. Tried to also say I needed a complete brake job, alignment, shocks and struts on a new car. Saw my disability plates and thought they could dupe an old lady.

Wouldnt work on my car because someone else worked on it prior and we dont want to jump into anyone elses work. I had it towed to them my fiancee is the one who did the work... They knew this during the conversation that happened prior to the tow. So I wasted the $ getting it towed there then had to get I towed home since they wouldnt touch it...

The owners were great. Had an 07 Camry and needed to replace both cv axles. Pricing was fair. I was only charged labor as I got the parts from autozone. Told me I could drop off today and pick up tomorrow. A few hours later in the day, they called and said it was ready. Good business skills. Will go back again in the future.

Came here to rent uhaul. Will never come here again. They accidentally charged me for an extra day, I call and talked to them and they agree that would fix it for me. Check back with them a day later to see if they have fixed it and they said not yet and promise that they will take care of it. Check my statement 2 weeks later still have not refund me the extra day. Call Uhaul and told them about the problem, Uhaul told me they will take care of it and not need to contact Car Doctor. Uhaul was able to refund me in 1 day.

BAD DEAL, brought the car in because it didnt start, had the starter replaced for $369 but it still has trouble starting up. Took it back and they claimed its because of an oil leak (which I had noticed little quarter size spots under the car) told me theyll fix the oil leak (valve cover gasket) for $347, they sugested several other fixes like spark plug change (@ $20 a plug). Decided only to have the oil leak fixed, after I picked up the car the engine shut off not 1 mile from the shop on the freeway. Had it towed back and they claimed it was a loose vacuum hose. Picked the car back up and now it still doesnt start right up and the oil leak is worse than before. Spent over $700 and car is worse than before.

Theyll make you wait in the lobby for 16mins... I dont know why, I just asked for a water pump replacement estimate.
