This place was referred to me through Facebook chat....all I can say is Im going back this sunday...pork, pork w hala, and Bean & jal is what we got. It was soooo good..mass was on point.

Nice quaint tamale business. I walked in ordering 2 dozen fresh hot pork tamales only costing $9.75 a dozen. Good prices here. I also ordered day old cold pork tamales, 1 dozen was only available at $8. Arrived home opening the aluminum foil to attack 2 to 3 hot fresh tamales. I enjoyed 3 tamales. They were fresh, tasty, tender and delicious pork tamales never too much masa but there was plenty of pork meat in them when I would take each bite. The seasonings were perfect to taste. I will definitely return to this establishment again and again. Worth your money to stop here and purchase their delicious tamales!💕

What a friendly, fabulous authentic place. The prices are on the cheap but dont let that fool you...the food is A+. It is family owned, the food is fresh daily. There are well deserved awards on the walls and if you have a minute or two you will likely hear a family story. I highly recommend stopping in. I read the reviews so I took a drive across town and I was not disappointed. I bought one dozen and came back the next day for 3 more dozen. There very good and the best I have found in S.A.. The man behind the counter was friendly and I will be buying more.

Oh my God theyre tamales are the best and they have this new tamale with chicken the Suns owner came out with this great idea those tamales are super delicious I hope that they continue to carry the product but I still recommend all other tamales for All Occasions they have a blue plate award

By far the Best tasting tamales Ive had. The meat and masa are seasoned with just the right amount of spices and color. The service is great and friendly. Definitely picking some more up to take with me to my family in South Texas. Happy Thanksgiving 2016

B&B Tamales is a Southside landmark thats been around since I was a kid in the early 1970s. They made the first Tamales Id ever eaten and till this day they are the best Ive ever had.

I have been buying our tamales from B&B for years. They are delicious and the family/staff is the friendliest.

Dont know what all the rave reviews are about, the pork has large stringy chunks of tough meat and the tamales are really bland tasting . Yes the owners are very sweet, but my family require more flavor and taste . Sorry, but wont be back .
