I love this place. It even smells like a Hollywood Video. Theres tons of DVDs, Blu-ray, Games, and CDs. Most movies are price $7.99, $5.99, and $3.99. Those movies are either 3 for $20, 3 for $15, and 3 for $10. Not all movies fall in this price range. I saw Soroity House Masacre for $18.99. I bought a Metallica CD for $16.99. I belive these higher prices are for new items. Additionally, the new products do not qualify you for the rewards program for some reason. I was very impressed with their selection of horror movies. Lots of non-mainstream movies available for purchase. Maybe its part nostalgia but Ill continue visiting this store every week and try to buy something to ensure it remains open. It really does smell like a Hollywood Video.

They have some great stuff, but the video game selection is very limited and lacks popular titles. Same for vinyls, sadly. However, the store seemed clean and well organized and had a pretty big collection of CDs and DVDs.

We love Movie Exchange! Everyone is so nice and helpful,plus its in an old Hollywood Video Store and brings me back to my childhood! They always have what were looking for and if they dont, they will find it for you!

Took 4 days to get an offer then when I get to pick em up was given attitude by the old guy with the colorful mask. Very uncalled for. Dont work customer service if youre going to be that way to your customers, especially if theyre being nice to you. Never coming back.

My wife and I always go to this location to find our childhood/favorite movies but tonight they lost our business for good. A ridiculous inflation due to the holiday, they have the two very movies in the photo I have added for $19.99 each on its very own holiday display stand.A quick Google search and a 4 minute drive down the street and we found them for $7.99 each, which is fair. We will be using this method for our movie nights from now on.

It was amazing. The young lady there was super sweet, and so helpful. Like. I know its not just me. I have some of the best experiences at these places for a reason. Its because there are still so many good, kind hearted, hard working and people who just appreciate others and love what they do, and that to me is so worth living. I walked in the store 25 minutes before closing time for them. I made it quick, but got quick and friendly service. I love this CD exchange. I will be going back, because I appreciate great service. Good place. Bought a brand new copy on blu ray of the original The thing movie. Never been played.

I know DVD’s and CD’s are going the way of the dinosaur, but when you take stuff in if it not in Pristine condition they either don’t take it or payout very little. Then resell it as if it was new. Pricing anyways.The big plus is they sometimes very rarely but sometimes you find a long lost movie or game and it’s a diamond in the sand.Staff is friendly but not overly helpful.

I would give less stars if possible. I went in here with my 4 and 5 year old. We began shopping and had a bathroom emergency. I waited up front for the man to even acknowledge us standing there. Once he did I explained to him the situation and asked if we could use the restroom before continuing shopping. He said no and pointed to the pizza restaurant next door. I had to tell my son to put his movies back (and at this point I didn’t care where he stuck them), and explained to the man that I don’t purchase items from businesses that don’t have the decency to allow customers to use the facility if needed. This is just terrible business. I will never visit this store again.

By far the largest collection of Movies and even games and music with formats like vinyl. I bought a bunch of movies and video games at very reasonable prices.

Good place to find some stray movies youre looking for. No restroom here, so use the Peter piper pizza one next door. Not as many movies as I would like, and I wish their blu ray collection was bigger, but a great place all the same.

They have allot of cheap DVDs and Blu-rays, if owning a large movie collection is your thing. Inspected the disks before I paid, and they appeared to be in good shape. So they probably really time to insure their inventory is in good working order.They should consider selling DVD/Blu-ray racks, since its a dream store for folks that want a large movie collection.

So happy to have found this store... its well stocked, huge variety, clean and the staff (although not happy people) they are expedient... I bought what I was looking for and was on my way in less than 5 minutes.

They have a great variety of horror, comedy, romance, action, and kids with many more in between. The movies are in alphabetical order, so it is easy to walk in and find something fast if you have a specific movie in mind. They always have someone willing to help you and if the movie has scratches on the back they will even buffer them out with out a cost. That was a life saver on a few that I bought. One of the things I noticed with having a child is that they do not have bathrooms. You will have to go next door to the Peter pipers pizza which is a hassle. Other wise great!

I live in Austin, every time we come in to town I love to shop there,you could always find some movie that you havent seen in a wild .Staff is always Friendly, great atmosphere.And the prices cheap! By that I mean inexpensive!!!!

The stars just for the organization and cleanliness of the store. The lady upfront laura was rude and very impolite when it came to customer service. Luckily we paid credit and had the gentleman ring us up and he was polite but didnt say much. But other than that great variety and awesome collection.

Always the best place to find ones favorite DVDs at a great price. Even those hard to find ones. Just call ahead and they will let you know which store has the ones youre looking for! They will even repair your scratched ones.

I love this location for a thousand and one reasons! First of, as soon as you walk in you can immediately tell that it used to be a Hollywood Video and is even laid out like one. Secondly, if you ever were looking for a box set of your favorite flick or show I promise that between their several locations youll probably find it. The prices are so slow and reasonable that sometimes I can get carried away in there. Also, if you come in to sale your own old movies and DVDs they make the process painless and easy. They dont take all the movies you may bring in but then again not all movies are worth any dollar value. You gotta be realistic if you bring stuff to sell them dont expect to get cash for all of it. Not all movies carry their value. Either way there are thousands of movies and multiple copies of them at a very very discounted rate.

The staff were rude and unhelpful and they were trying to get me off the counter. I told them that I would be selling some cds and that I was in a hurry. Then they left them on the counter and went to help other customers and left them on the counter. They essentially wasted my time and wanted me to leave them alone, and when I was about to leave, my ride came inside and then they frantically started doing my cds, then they only took 3 out of the 10 I brought. I spent an entire hour for $1.50 and a terrible experience. Never going there again.

If you are looking for a store with a large selection of new and used movies, music, or video games, than this is your place. The selection of DVDs and Blue-rays is pretty vast, and covers many genres. If youre looking for music than they got you covered. Carrying both vinyl and CDs, youre sure to find something you like. There is also a big selection of items for gamers. Most consults are covered, but the majority of items seem to be from PS2 and newer. Usually find what Im looking for, so I tend to make this my first stop.

The business model is the same as anywhere: buy media for next to nothing to turn around and sell it for as much as possible. As long as youre not emotionally attached to things and are, like me, too lazy to try and sell things on your own, then its what you got. DVDs generally sell for about $0.20 so you wont get rich selling off your collection, but it was worth it to me to get it out of the house.

I dont think their prices can be beat. If they have a title you want at another location they will call them and have it brought to that store within a few days for your convenience. Only downside is they will not pay you crap for movies or games. They will literally give you maybe $0.50 or a dollar for each one no matter how new they are. A couple of the people who work there are rather dimwitted but nowadays you kind of have to just expect that everywhere which is sad to say but the truth none the less
