I’m so glad I discovered this place! It’s AMAZING. Full of all different kinds of fabric, it’ll take at least a couple hours to see everything. And to top it off, staff is genuinely helpful and friendly. Well worth my 1 hour drive from home.

I was so impressed with the amount of fabric they have in stock! I saw leather hydes, upholstery, drape, and clothing fabrics! The workers are cool, super friendly and helpful!! Knowing they are open all days of the week makes this place so convenient!

I really really like this place. Im kind of new to the fabric world and these people are great. They are well informed and keep amazing track of an enormous inventory. And for me the most important of all of the great things I can say is they are incredibly patient with me because I may research and create an opinion for the project in front of me, but I have yet to fail with what I have selected to work with and that is based solely on the advice that they have given. This is your wonderfully weird local fabric store. Theyve got a monster selection and most fabrics are in 60 widths. Their bargain bins are amazingly cheap and fun to dig through. They have a million kinds of lace, trim, tassel, zipper, cord, piping, button, thread, and applique. They have apparel fabric, home decor fabric, automotive fabric, and all the gaudiest fabric you could need for a quince or Diwali. They have authentic wax print African fabrics and Mexican blanket fabric by the yard. My only complaint is that the labeling and pricing is sort of slapdash. Its hard to figure out the fiber content and prices of things as you shop, but the staff always seem to know if you ask.

We have been here several times. There is a huge selection. There is no regularly stocked inventory that I am aware of but there is ALWAYS a lot to choose from. Its a huge place, filled to the brim with any and all kinds of fabrics. The staff and the owner are always friendly and helpful.

They have everything here at this place any kind of fabric you can think of from upholstering leather on a chair to making an evening gown. Buttons, beads, and lace galore. Three warehouses attached to eachother make up the sales floor. These rooms feature rolls upon rolls of fabric with an upholstery section and double rows of tables covered from top to bottom with rolled fabrics. Including a lace room, accessories room, a $0.50 sales table and some discounted fabric tables with prices as low as $1.99 a yard.You are able to go from room to room through the clear plastic curtains.There are carts to use to put your choices of rolled fabrics in and take to the cutting table for them to measure out for you. Be careful not to cross into the table cutting area as it is prohibited. They are nice and friendly and will be happy to help you get any roll of fabric that you are not able to access on your own. I absolutely love this place they have everything you need from zippers to interfacing, jewels and trimmings, netting and decals you can find it. All your sewing needs in one place. Open to the public as well as manufacturing.

Sign said they close 15 minute prior to closing which is 5 PM, got here at 4:20 pm and doors were locked already. Called the store and was told that they closed early because the owner had left early, I would of been fine with it if it wasnt for the fact that I came all the way from Austin to shop here just to be told they were already closed for the day.

Staff is always wonderful, friendly and incredibly helpful. Inventory is varied and at great pricing. I have gone multiple times, and have never walked out empty handed.

Sifted through the remnant table and found some great deals. The guy working the cutting table was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to shop again!

This place is incredible! They are super helpful and kind. Bilingual, too. I’m new to sewing, but it’s pretty clear they have a huge variety of selection (everything from car leather to outdoors fabric to fancy sequined fabric) and it’s not fabric you can get just anywhere (e.g. they have fabric from Guatemala). Some of the fancier fabrics were expensive, but overall, prices were reasonable and they had a good sale going on. 1 yard min for everything, but that’s fair. They have an in-house (well, next door) seamstress who can be used and she also gives lessons: Lisa Perello. FYI they close at 4:30pm for COVID-19 cleaning (sign on door). Masks required (good!). I will definitely be returning!

Excellent customer service. They have many colors & types of fabrics to chose from (cottons, chiffon, spandex, neoprene, leathers, indoor & outdoor upholstery for the home & your vehicle, also a decent scraps table). Only bad thing is that this location receives fabrics & prints that are not at the Dallas location and vice versa (nice excuse for a weekend trip though). Have fun buying fabric & and sewing.

These guys were awesome, I went in with 2 old cushions that I bought from Salvation Army and no idea what to do to clean them up. Their team showed me what they had to offer and then left me to make my choices. They didnt take advantage of my lack of knowledge but they were there to tell me how much of everything I would need to get the job done. Very happy with my experience here and would 100% recommend to anyone

Rushed to get here. Hours say close at 5. Poster board on front door says closes at 4:30 to sanitize. Well, it should be that it’s open until 5 as posted for the public, then employees stay after 5 to sanitize.Wasted time and fuel. Not cool. Going to JoAnns.

This place is cool tons of fabric to choose from and then right next door is this brand new place Perellos. It has an AWESOME seamstress who can sew anything for you and she designs and makes clothes! Proms, wedding dresses, dances just make sure you book your appointment ahead of time because it can get full pretty quick.

The experienced staff are very helpful. They dont try to hard sell you. But if you ask they will give you sound advice. I found them quite by accident. I was looking for fabric stores on the map. I saw the name and location. I thought I would give a look . Im so glad I did. Karl is a jewel. I cant remember everyones name there, but they all are very helpful. Fabrictopia has merchandise that you cant find anywhere else in the city. Be prepared to be dazzled with the abundance fabrics and notions.

Awesome experience ever! Not only was the staff great, but they play good music. Everything was neat and in place, David was the cherry on top. Definitely going to come back.

Went to look for outdoor fabric for a large event Im planning. I walk in first thing rude welcoming the worker in the front gives you rude response continued to look around. He continues to tell me what to do as Im in the store. Ive never felt so harassed in a business where I planned on spending a lot of money. Come to hear this guy is talking to other employees regarding customers and I hear him talking about me . of course I spoke up and left I will not support a business with this kind of customer service

Love, love, love Fabrictopia San Antonio! We have one in Houston but it doesnt compare to the one here in San Antonio. Great selection, amazing prices and friendly staff. I wish the location in Houston would expand its inventory. Every time I come visit my brother I make it a point to come here and look at fabric here. Especially the remnants table. Some pieces are 7 or 8 yards for $3 a yard!! For a fashion student I was able to complete my senior Collection thanks to San Antonio Fabrictopia!

I found this wonderful store by accident, and instantly fell in love! Their level customer service is something every company should aspire to! They have a great selection of fabric. I have only had the pleasure of interacting with David, and he is just amazing! I bought a few yards of fabric last year and held onto it, waiting for inspiration. I decided to use it as wallpaper for a guest bath. I spent a week online trying to find a bolt to order, with no luck! I took a chance hoping they could help since I originally bought it there, and they TOTALLY came through! David went above and beyond what I expected! Theyve gained a loyal lifelong customer in me!

Called today to confirm closing time of 5pm. Their staff confirmed on the call they close today at 5pm. We arrive at 4:20pm, waiting to enter with roughly eight other people, when one of their employees announces to those of us waiting that they are closing now (4:20pm) and no one else will be permitted to enter/ total waste of my time, drove 12 miles to get there and even called ahead to confirm- Unprofessional amateurs- don’t waste your time, it’s a joke.

The first time I came here, all I was looking for was a material I could use for an outdoor dog couch. During that visit, I came to the conclusion that I will not be buying bedding, curtains, or any other upholstery items anymore. Ill be making whatever I need using materials from here. Seems silly now to pick from the limited choices of already made items when this place offers such an incredible amount of awesome fabrics to use.First of all, the ladies working here and running the store are super friendly and very helpful. Second of all, this place is absolutely loaded with rolls and rolls of fabrics. They have a huge variety and vast selection to choose from. Also, the layout of the place allows you to see most of the options at a glance, while being able to easily get a close look and feel of each one.Another thing I thought was neat, is that their in stock inventory includes headliner materials for cars, vinyls of all sorts of colors and textures, multiple foam products with varying densities and thicknesses, and some nice choices designed for outdoor applications like seat cushions or awnings.Fabrictopia is definitely the perfect name and couldnt be more fitting. If you havent had the pleasure of roaming the aisles in here, checking out the humongous assortment, and running your hands across some of their many wonderful feeling fabrics, I highly recommend stopping in one day.

The staff was great. Super helpful. Really good selection, from a novice perspective. A lady who might have been the owner looked at me cockeyed, but she might have just been a loiterer, who knows? I had a nasty piano bench I was trying to reupholster and I figured she didnt want it stinking up the place. In any case, the people who actually work there are fantastic. Classes on Mondays too! That looks cool.

LOTS of fabric! Cottons for Quilting, lace for partying, many weights of knits, zippers, thread, some other notions, buttons. Very nice people, very nice prices. No patterns. New room with auto headliners and tons of foam and pillow forms.

First time going, took my daughter for material she needed a school project and was impressed with the options available. I dont know what materials cost so cant vouch for the prices compared to other places but I think they seemed fair. I picked up 2 pieces of foam for my toolbox and small cases for $9 again not sure if its a good price or not but to me it was.

This store has all types of materials and accessories for Sewing etc. Also good prices. If you are into Sewing you should consider stopping buy.

Maaterials are scarce to make mask. Fabrictopia has the best quality, price, and prints in materials for mask. They aim to please and help every costomer
