A true Southside gem. This coffee shop is perfect to get some work done or to hangout with friends. Their brown sugar latte is a must try. I will definitely be back to try their wine selection.

This is the perfect spot to sit down and do some computer work while sipping a coffee. The atmosphere is quiet and chill- which I love. The coffee shot itself is super cute from the front door all the way to the bathroom. The coffee is delicious- a cold brew cost me about $4, a fair price to me. Overall, i’m very satisfied and would like to come back and try one of the specialty drinks!

Stopped in close to closing time with my mom today for the first time and I think Ive found my new favorite coffee shop. I ordered The Optimistic off their specialty drinks menu and it was superb - not super sweet but very flavorful with a hint of lavender. My mom got a regular latte with oat milk and that was also delicious. Friendly staff and a warm, welcoming space. Ill be back for sure!

So much to love about this coffee spot. It’s become my favorite in town. The Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte is my go-to drink. Made perfect every time. Another great thing is they’re able to take online orders. Used it a couple of times and it worked as expected.

Great latte and cortado game - a local place just down the street from Freetail brewery. Friendly staff and quality coffee with a boutique vibe. I thought their coffee was a step above Brown and Halcyon nearby, definitely worth checking out.

Today was my first time here. I was a little nervous but as soon as I walked in the two ladies working the coffee shop were so nice and welcoming and were working hard on coffee orders.I purchased the coconut 🥥 bliss and a slice of banana bread and it was so delicious.I give Poetic Republic Coffee a 5 star. I really love this coffee shop it’s so tiny and cute and they took pride in each customer. Unlike chain coffee shops that take each customer like they are just another number .

Eclectic and quaint all at once. Great basic menu and great coffee! We get hot chocolate for the kid when we go out for coffee and so far this is her favorite! Super cute location, near a beautiful little church and a local plant store. Highly recommend. Support the south side!

I’ve lived all over texas but no coffee shop has ever felt like home like poetic republic does! Everyone is always so nice and welcoming, conversational, and the coffees are amazing as well! The iced optimistic is my go to drink!

This was my first visit here. I will definitely be back; although, Im told theyre discontinuing the blossom latte which was just to my liking. There are other drinks that Im sure I will love. The pastries are also good. Great place. Independent, local shop with a very neighborly ambiance.

Small and cozy spot. Coffee is good, and the pastries looks very tasty (didn’t have any). It’s a relaxed spot with few seats, so there’s never a large crowd. Ideal for focusing on work. Only complain is the wifi speed. It wasn’t to bad but a few times videos were spotty and load time were pretty long. Other than that it’s great.

This is exactly the experience I was looking for in San Antonio.we met the owners and they are extremely friendly and helpful. If you enjoy gourmet coffee this is the place to go. The pour over is uniquely San Antonio, light and chocolaty. My wife had a cappuccino with vanilla syrup that they make in house. Probably one of my favorite cappuccinos Ive had. The chocolate croissant was amazing! I would highly recommend stopping by and I will most definitely be back.

My wife loved their coffee and she is pretty picky with coffee. Thats a solid five stars for me. Its a cool little shop with mostly drinks. I dont think there was any seating inside.

I have tried many many coffee places in my days and this coffee place lands in the top 3. I got the cortada with half & half and 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup. It was perfection. The coffee was so smooth, and I hardly ever experience really really good coffee like this. Delicious. Highly recommend.

Great local neighborhood coffee shop where you can get a quality cup any day of the week and brunch(only served on weekends). Only issue was the speed of service with the limited food options, but Im sure they will improve.

Poetic Republic is about a mile’s walk from my house, and is one of my favorite neighborhood joints to visit on the weekend. The staff and owners are lovely, lovely people, and you always feel taken care of. Their pastries are delicious (La Boulangerie!) and specialty drinks or classics are consistently delicious.

Lovely little place. I had a yummy chocolate croissant and cappuccino with vanilla syrup. They also serve cafe de olla, which is a nice surprise. Friendly staff and a bright, comfy space make it a new go-to spot.

I had been going occasionally since they first opened, but sorry to say that I will not be returning after my experience today. The young lady that helped me was extremely rude, short, and just plain seem bothered by having to help me. And to think, I was actually the one paying $15 dollars for two cups of coffee! Everyone has bad days, but its your own choice if you want to be rude about it.

Followed this incredible coffee shop from their former location off Babcock, where they shared space with a bakery. The espresso and coffee are of exceptional quality made by people who clearly love their craft. And they care about their customers too.

I am so glad I stumbled upon this quaint little coffee shop! I got a Latte with added Lavender— it was delicious! 😋The vibe is so cozy and it’s a great place to study/chill/meet up with friends. The staff was super friendly and the owner was so kind; she even helped me with my Spanish homework 😂 They have just earned a customer for life!!

Love seeing a local coffee shop taking Covid seriously! The whole process of ordering at the window and waiting outside felt very safe. The barista was super sweet, the lavender-honey latte was delicious, and my boyfriend loved his chai latte. Definitely made a returning customer out of me ❤️

Ordered the Optimistic and was not disappointed, so delicious! They also offer dairy free alternatives like almond milk and oat milk. So glad I found this gem on the Southside! Can also order online if in a rush but service was fast, only waited about 5 mins!

This place is refreshing. It is quaint and minimal with lots of charm. Brenda, the owner, is so sweet. I got a latte and the flavor was good and distinctive. I enjoyed reading my book at this coffee place and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing some coffee and a peaceful spot. Also shout out to female owned businesses!!!

Beautiful little coffee shop

The coffee shop is combined with Dulce Victoria Desserts, which has some amazing desserts and pastries, many of them Hispanic in origin. The coffee was good, the service was friendly, the space was nice for enjoying a coffee while working for an hour, and the smell in the air was heavenly. They had been baking in the back all morning. I will definitely be back.
