Great place for games and equipment. Super helpful staff. We get the disc protection, but you cant lose the disk. Had to order Xbox but the delivered to our house in a few days.

My local gamestop is a home away from home where I can talk to knowledgeable staff about all things gaming and they actually know their stuff!!

Young lady there at 2:00 today was extremely rude. Walked in and nobody willing to help me. When I finally asked for help, she discarded me because she was doing something more important than helping customers. She was putting price tags on games. Only reason I put two stars was because the man working the register quickly noticed her incompetence and rushed in to help me.

So it’s Wednesday and Black Friday sales start at 7 am Friday morning and the store says they will have 2 PS5 and they are already taken??? Because people are camping out, but nobody is outside the store and when I asked the employees they said they are pretty much waiting in there cars- uh ok!!!

Went there and they were closed during business hours. I called before I headed out there from way across town. Very very bad customer service.

While I understand social distancing and the reason behind only 5 people in the store at once, what I dont understand is allowing people to loiter after their purchase has been made when there are customers outside waiting. Also, having only one employee working is ridiculous. All it takes is one complicated transaction or difficult customer and people who need to make a simple purchase are stuck just waiting for 10 minutes or more

Ive frequent this gamestop many times. There maybe some new faces in the store every so often, but the service and friendly atmosphere provided here will always bring me back!

My son loves it there. it is a small store, but they have a lot of stuff. they have a few consoles to play with which he loves. the staff is helpful and inviting.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always going above and beyond. If they don’t have it, they try to find it. Doesn’t matter what store, as long as you’re willing to wait.

Been there two times in the past 6 months and staff treated my family just as great each time. Staff offered help right away, answered questions when asked and were very knowledgeable.

Called 4 days ago for an item and they said it was on hold for customer, no problem. Called again today and asked about the item again since it still shows in stock and they said its on hold again for same customer because they had an issue. I asked how long they hold for customers and they said 1 week regardless even hearing from the customer. Get real people, a 24 hr hold works for every other place because that is whats fair. Nobody needs a week to pick it up, thats called layaway.

Nice spot but you could miss it since its just the the left of Target, helpful staff with a good selection of newer gear.

Upon exiting this store, I encountered an employee that was smoking next to the door, I informed her that the policy is 50 feet from the building, she proceeded to blow her vape pen junk towards my direction.Wont be shopping here anymore.

Decent selection of pre owned games. I wish they had more pre owned hardware available for ps4. New games are a bit costly. We tend to purchase new games and hardware online.

Review follow up: ok so went in to pick up psVR and ask a bunch of questions about game and VR. The great thing about critiques is they leave a lot of room for opportunity. This will be the last review I post of this store bc they crushed it tonight. Restores my faith in GameStop as the only place to buy your games. They answered all my questions, were highly knowledgeable, and made several suggestions. Definitely impressed this time around great work to all the staff.gotta say the same as Frank, I have bought from this store several times and while it is in one of the nicest neighborhoods in San Antonio the service does seem lackluster compared to other gamestop stores I have purchased systems/etc in the past. I will be getting my ps VR here b/c it is already on preorder. However, the reason that I and several still choose a face to face environment is and will always be customer service. It is why I purchase my 4k tv and soundbar from Magnolia stores but still go to Gamestop. I want to work with the experts. If I am no longer to expect good customer service why not buy from Best Buy or Amazon. I know there is a manager who runs a store next to Brooks City Base. His crew gets it, excellent service, fun environment, and always engaging. The opportunity here is this is all fixable but there has to be a desire to want to do better. I want to BUY from your store, but please figure out how to be polite and serve your customers. They are the reason you have the job in the first place and that starts with just the way you treat people on the phone to the in person visit. You all can do better that is all and I wish you luck in improving your process to meet those you would find at other Gamestop locations.

Dealt with an employee Peter who was not only trying to take my free pro member game I acquired after purchasing 3 pre-used items, and before that he completely ignored my presence after standing in front of the game rack for about 20 mins it wasnt a very pleasant experience.

If I could give negative stars I would. My husband and I came to the store to purchase a few games and the manager called out every game we purchased and said we were buying junk. The manager at this location is extremely rude, his atitude makes the store unwelcoming and makes you not want to purchase anything.

I normally am not a fan of GameStops, but the employees here are D1 for sure. 10/10 would recommend this store.
