We went to World Car Mazda yesterday to look at two different cars. Our salesman Kamron was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had. We decided on which one would be right for our family and the Manager talked to us about our trade. He was honest and gave the information to us straight which we appreciated. The whole car buying experience was quick and easy.

I always take my Mazda car for maintenance and oil change to World Car Mazda North. The reception area is run by professional people who immediately greet you at the door and take care of your needs. I am always happy when I see Ron because he assures me that my car will be in good hands with skilled mechanics who know their jobs. While I have never had an issue with my car there I feel confident that if I did, he would not hesitate to resolve it. The waiting area is very clean and inviting with ample space for each customer. We will be loyal customers of Mazda because of Mazda North, Ron and the good employees that keep our cars in good condition! I am a grateful and happy customer!

Initially I had difficulty getting ahold of anyone over the phone to make an appointment. I periodically called every few days but it took about 6 or 7 tries to get someone. However, once I finally was able to get through it was pretty smooth getting an appointment within the week and everything was done in a timely manner. Additionally, Ronald was very helpful and made the whole process go smoothly.

I went to World Car Mazda North for an oil change last week. Scheduling the service was easy. I just called it in and they were able to accommodate my schedule. I arrived half an hour early and the customer service representative greeted me by name. She welcomed me and confirmed the service I was there for. The waiting area was clean and inviting. There were no other customers at the the time, although more came in later. The representative came by and explained how long the service would take and asked if I was going to wait there. I said yes and she let me know there were complimentary snacks and water, and let me know where the restrooms were.The service was completed in a timely manner, and the paperwork was thoroughly discussed with me. There was a complimentary car wash; payment was simple and I was on my way. I highly recommend this dealership for service on your Mazda or Kia. I give it five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought a used SUV which I love, but I was really disappointed in the cleaning. I mentioned several times it needed to be detailed and they did clean it but left the mats soaking wet. The next day it smelled like wet old towels. I guess they dont have a person that knows how to properly detail a car? Other than that I love my salesperson Tim he was very friendly thank you Tim.
Horrible customer service. I just recently bought a used car from them and they promised to detail it for me since they hadn’t had a chance to do so. When I got the car back a day later it was filthy! It still smelt like dog from when I test drove it, dirt was everywhere, and residue from a spilt liquid was on my driver side door panel. I took the car back the day I received it for them to fix what they did wrong. It took another whole day and a half before I got it back. When I had tried to call and check on when my car would be ready they couldn’t figure out where it was. How do you lose a car? Once I go it back it looked exactly the same way as it did when I dropped it off. I will not be buying a car from them again!

Car buying experience was phenomenal. Had the suv for 5 years with no issues.I did believe there was a leak in the windshield wiper tank or in the line recently. My wife ran the suv through a car wash, did not know at the time, then came home and said she didnt have any windshield wiper fluid. I thought it was odd because most oil change places top it off and I usually take it to Valvoline. So I filled up the tank and noticed a leak, or what appeared to be leak. I Recieved a coupon in the mail that same day, could not had happened at a better time, for 10 dollars for oil change, tire rotation, and point inspection at the dealership so I scheduled. I figured there was catch or trying to sell me another vehicle when I got there. Took about 30 minutes for oil change, tire rotation, and point inspection. There was no leak and I was in and out for 10 dollars as advertised..there was no gimmick! My wife loves Mazda and I am sure she will buy her next vehicle there as well.
I bought a beautiful blue 2020 Mazda 6 here from Kamron Spencer. Nice young man who helped me with my purchase. No obnoxious sales pitch! Great, long test drive so I really got to know the car and Kamron showed me all the Mazda features. I would definitely buy another Mazda from this dealership in San Antonio, than the Mazda place in Austin.

Was able to get in and out of there with the car I wanted in one day. Wayne, sales rep, took good care of us. Whole process took a really long time (6 hours), even though I was pre-approved. My advice, leave the kids at home. Warm fuzzy feeling of customer service seems to have gone away with the arrival of COVID-19. No drinks or popcorn in sales office.

If your hoping to receive an honest car buying experience. I would not recommend going here. I purchased my used vehicle in MARCH.I thought I did everything right, asking the right questions. Yet, I was mislead. I specifically asked about the tires and was told the tires were “good” and recently replaced. I even looked at them and it appeared up to par.Although, I was doubtful and was not to confident I casted out doubts. Because I was repeatedly told the vehicles go through a safety inspection, etc.When looking at the car fax, the last time the vehicles tires was looked at was in 2017. 2020 a tire rotation was done. There is also no documented proof of the vehicles tires ever being replaced.I will admit I did overlook that and it didn’t register to me at the time, why I had a gut feeling about the tires. I am not well versed in vehicles nor tires. I thought I was just self sabotaging myself as sometimes we tend to do. ( I was right )Well, here I am in July and having to replace all of my tires. There is no way I ran the tread out that quickly as tires are supposed to last 2-3 years. Only 1 off tires is within reasonable tread (7).When I spoke to Mike smith, who overseas vehicle inspections. He told me that, as long as they pass state inspections. Meaning you’re vehicles tires can be at a tread of 4-7.As it was explained, 1 tire can be a 5, another one can be a 4. It is recommended to have your vehicle tread above a 6. They will sell you the vehicle as long as it passes. Considering it’s used, yet you advertise “quality” used vehicles.Which is a inconvenience to a family in the future, not expecting that sudden expense. Also, a safety concern.MEANING, You can end up like me dealing with the expenses of replacing your tires nearly 4-5 mos after purchasing your vehicle.All in all, I am writing this review to help someone else not have to experience this.The only resolution, I was offered was an opportunity to get my vehicle looked at and get offered tires at there price.In actuality, you would like to think that they would ensure the tires and vehicle are above the bare minimum.PERSONALLY CHECK THE TREAD ON THE TIRE BEFORE THE USED CAR PURCHASE.It truly is a dog eat dog world.
Everyone at Mazda is always so polite and very helpful. Ronald goes beyond the call of duty to help. Harry the service manager is always very friendly also . Gavin is new to me but also very helpful and polite .
Service advisor kept in constant communication with me every step of the way. I had more issues arise while my car was there and was immediately informed and asked if I would like to take care of the issue then. I was also given a loaner vehicle while my vehicle was there as the initial timeframe for repairs was one week and then turned into two weeks after finding other issues and having to wait on parts to arrive. I was also informed of deals and specials they had that pertained to any of the repairs they were currently performing. They also informed me of repairs that would be need in the near future and offered quotes on this repairs as well. I will definitely be coming back for future repairs.
The service department here is amazing. Ron and Mari were super sweet, attentive, and communicative.I bought a used vehicle and a few days later the security system locked me out. I had to have it towed to world car Mazda after a locksmith informed me that they couldn’t do anything with it.I was absolutely blessed enough that they had a loaner I could use during the process. I couldn’t be more thankful for it.Ron called me and kept me updated throughout the entire process and didn’t authorize any work without touching base with me first. Originally they thought it was the PCM board and quoted the work to be $1200-$1500 ... but a few short days later they discovered it was just a few relays and it would be less than $200! How lucky!!I imagine a lot of other mechanics would have just done the originally quoted work anyway just to get the money, but the integrity of this shop was amazing and, again, I couldn’t be more thankful.I’ll definitely be bringing my vehicle here more often than not.Thanks again y’all!!!
Navy Federal Credit Union Members, World Car does not accept the approved draft check issued by NFCU, they expect a cashiers check from the bank.If I had been told while price was being negotiated this would not have been an issue. Sales were very apologetic for the initial miscommunication and more than willing to work with me, due to personal time constraints, for which I am very grateful. However, the finance department has been the complete opposite. I have been willing to pay, they refuse payment per company policy. World Car, I dont work for your company so how are your customers supposed to know if you dont tell us.I would just like to warn fellow NFCU members now, save your time and go somewhere else.
I bought my used 2017 Mazda 6 about 10 months ago from this dealer, and I’ve got to say, it was I pretty smooth process overall! It’s a great car! There was unfortunately one thing that was mildly upsetting.The first day I went in knowing I wanted the car. I really just wanted to do a test drive to make sure there were no issues to do with the driving/ cosmetics of the car (with it being used). I didn’t find anything wrong with the car, and swore that I would be back tomorrow to buy it (I let them run my credit and all so we could get the ball rolling).Well, in an attempt to get me to buy right then and there they offered me a “$1998 appearance package “free of charge””... I held firm because I simply wasn’t prepared with my down payment and paperwork. On top of that, I live/work in Austin, so I didn’t have the time to do that whole process on that day. They still weren’t convinced that I would be back the following day, so they told me if I were to come back the next day they would still include the ”free” appearance package. I even took a photo of the offer since apparently I wasn’t allowed to take it with me.Anyway, when I came back the next day, I was told they could no longer offer the package to me for whatever reason. I was upset, but I didn’t argue because like I said, I knew I wanted the car and really just wanted to get it over with at that point. The package was just an incentive, it didn’t effect the price of the car.At the end of the day, I felt taken advantage of in a way, which is somewhat upsetting considering everything else about the experience went so well.
This dealership and their staff went above and beyond to ensure that I felt safe in my car after being horribly mistreated at another location.I originally bought my mazda at the World Car Mazda location on Fredericksburg Road. Exactly three weeks from the purchase date, I found out my cars suspension was messed up and cause irreparable damage to my tires. I called the dealership who refused to call me back, refused to look up my information to check my warranty and told me they were going to charge me $200+ for a diagnostic that should have been done before they sold me the car. I was told to come in and then when I showed up they claimed I needed an appointment and the next available slot would not be for a month out. I was never offered an extended warranty or anything. This being the first time I have purchased a car, I felt that I was pushed into this sale with no guidance. They practically filled everything out without going over it with me and just had me sign. I felt unsafe driving this car and called this location hoping they’d be able to help me.Harold is a GOD SEND. He helped me every step of the way, assured me that everything would be taken care of and boy did he deliver. He took care of my suspension, replaced my tires and ran a full diagnostic to ensure nothing else was wrong. He genuinely cared for my well-being and that was honestly why I felt so safe here. After the way I was treated at the other location I was terrified of the potential expense but Harold helped me every step of the way.I will be recommending this dealership to every single person I know. Thank you so much to the staff, especially Harold!

I bought my 2020 Maxda CX-5 from World Car and just had it serviced there for the 2nd time. They are very efficient about getting you in and out as soon as possible. The online scheduling is very easy and convenient. The staff is very friendly and the service manager is very helpful. He will tell you exactly what service your car needs and not try to upsell or pressure you into other services. They also washed my vehicle after service, which is a great perk! Ive been very pleased with the service I get from World Car Mazda North.
The world car kia new Braunfels is literally hotter than outside. They are short staffed can’t diagnose my steering issue because the technicians they have aren’t allowed to diagnose. Only do oil changes. Yet it’s gonna be next month before they can make an appointment for that. Gonna be an hour and a half for an oil change may as well be doing heated yoga up in here. They told me to take my complaints up with this location lol so I’ll complain In both spots. Get it together.

This place is shady and dishonest. I came in with my own financing from my bank to buy a car here and the car salesperson claimed they would not accept payment from my bank because it has to be a cashiers check. He said that he had a customer recently with the same bank and he knew that my bank would NOT do a cashiers check. I thought maybe hes telling the truth and I can just go with one of their lenders. However, after he gave me the grand total for the car he included clear coat paint $2,000 and he didnt even ask if I wanted it. I ended up leaving with a soar taste in my mouth with no car. The next day I heard from my bank that they DO write cashiers checks. Im glad I went with my gut on this one. You can still make a dime with a little integrity and people will respect you all the more for it.

On a very humid day and shortly after an oil change my AC Fan stopped working. I was not happy at all. The folks at World Car Mazda North were patient, gave me a loaner and although it took them a minute to figure out the problem, they were able to repair it successfully. The service department diagnosed my car and discovered that I needed a battery, not a whole electrical system fix. They finished the car efficiently and returned it early. Using their service department was very, very smooth.2 thumbs up.
The sales representative and manager were polite and scheduled me to test drive a used SUV. I liked it but they had to wash it and clean it the same day that we were doing the paperwork. I looked at the truck and mentioned many spots that needed to be cleaned. At the end after I signed the papers and they told me that the truck needed a change of breaks, so I schedule an appointment to pick it ip next weekend. During the week the sales representative called me and assured me that the truck was going to be very clean because they had time to work on it.I got there next weekend and they also had to change the battery, because the “engine light turned on.” It was a rainy day and we had to rush back to our new born baby. When I got to the house I was very upset to see that the truck had the same stains on the leather between the seats, the visors/roof and everything smelled like dirty clothes. All the removable mats were soaking wet and one of them even had mold. I had to shampoo the carpet and clean all the mess that was not cleaned.The sales representative called me to ask how was everything and I explained to him how upset my wife and I were about the condition of the SUV and he apologized. I asked him to have the manager call me. 3 days went by, so i decide to call the manager and left a message, which I never got a reply.I never expected an excellent condition from a used vehicle, but i do expect to be delivered on the best condition possible, and not having to spend hours cleaning removable stains and washing the carpet/mats.I give them 3 stars because they did fix the brakes and the battery.

My wife took our brand new Mazda CX5 (8298 mi.) in for a routine oil change. The tech servicing the vehicle forgot to completely tighten the oil refill cap and so oil escaped and the engine experienced a low oil situation. Vehicle was towed in to be inspected and serviced.The way this shop has gone about reestablishing any kind of trust between us, the customers and their service techs, has been abhorrent. We were initially told the vehicle was checked mechanically for damage and a visual check was done on the remaining oil for any particulate. The mechanical check verified that the pistons, piston rings, and valves functioned. The visual oil check verified that no large particulate was present in the oil, this was not sampled and sent for analysis to verify its actual metal content. These two checks were not adequate in my opinion to give the engine a clean bill of health.After reaching out multiple times I was finally told that additional mechanical checks had been simultaneously performed, not just the previously mentioned two. The manager stated that an oil pressure check was performed to check bearing wear. He also stated that the valve timing was checked to verify no anomalies existed due to wear. However none of this was initially communicated to us and most importantly none of this was documented in any meaningful way.The performed checks are adequate in my mind to give the engine a clean bill of health, however none of the mechanics measurements were recorded and no documentation was generated on, or for the tests that were performed. Since getting the information from the dealership was like pulling teeth, being told this additional detail calls into question the validity of what they are saying. The dealership is now expecting us to take them at their word that the vehicle is 100%. They are shifting all the risk onto us even though we played no hand in causing this situation. There is no documentation to state that our 8,000 mile engine is still an 8,000 mile engine and not one with 150,000 mile of premature wear. I would believe them and trust them if there was proof the engine was fine. Words and measurements mean nothing if they arent in writing.

For 2 weeks my filter n oil warning has been coming on. It started 2 weeks after my oil was supposed to have been changed at Worldcar Mazda. So I dont believe my oil n filter was changed. Oil n filter warning didnt come on when I paid Jiffy Lube to chanfe my oil when ur business would not answer the phone last year. Ive never had such terrible service. It started when the pandemic hit. No one answered or returned my calls so I went to Jiffy Lube n paid almost a hundred dollars to get the oil changed. But at least no warning lights came on after Jiffy Lube changed my oil. I spent an hour n a half just getting my oil changed at Worldcar Mazda early in the morning on a Saturday just to have this stupid warning come on n stay on. Frustrated.
My fiance and I went to a few other dealership in Austin and we didnt exactly find the car we wanted or a person we felt comfortable with. However, we traveled from west Austin to meet with World Car Mazda North and the experience was awesome. Were first time dealership buyers and we felt very nervous but also comfortable.The man who helped us was named Wayne, they dont work off commission but the experience was still amazing. We could tell he cared about our experience and wanted to make sure we had the best deal possible. Wayne was awesome and so was everyone else that we met.It was definitely worth the 2 hour trip, request Wayne if you want to have a very personable and professional experience!

I arrived well before the scheduled time for my appointment, and was greeted professionally and with courtesy and car was worked in promptly. All services were completed along with services recommended by manufacturer. The experience was as enjoyable as any car service can be. The personnel were nice and seemed to care that everything was accomplished quickly and completely at a price less than anticipatedI recommend world car north.
I loved everyone there! I worked with Kamron, his manager was also so sweet. Everything, even the finance went amazingly! The finance and Manager also were able to get me an ever better APR rate than I was originally approved for! They didnt try to make me get the top of the line CX-9 and I have everything I needed and more!I am now going to only buy Mazdas!

Great customer service and great vehicle for the price. Thank you Terence & Michael for all the help in finding us the right vehicle for our needs and within our budget.The wife and I were in search of a used SUV with all the bells and whistles but with low mileage and within a fixed budget. We stopped at World Car Mazda because we saw a Cadillac SUV within our budget and low mileage, so we decided to check it out. After test driving this Cadillac we liked the ride and all the bells and whistles but the seats were uncomfortable for a Cadillac. In comes Terence and Michael to the rescue, we told them what we were looking for and what we had to have but at a certain budget. Of course we liked the showroom CX-5 and they both said they could get us into one for our budget if thats what we wanted, so we test drove one in our budget, we liked the ride and the seats were VERY comfortable and the vehicle had a lot of the bells and whistles we wanted, but we just didnt like the color, well, they fixed that and brought up a beautiful red 2018 CX-5 Touring with only 16 miles on it, we haggled a little with the price and walked out a couple hours later with a car that was everything we asked for. Thanks for all your help Terence & Michael, we couldnt be happier with our selection
Second visit to the mazda north location between Judson and Oconner on IH35. Neither time did any one come out to help me i walked the lot for 20 minutes each time looking at different suvs. They wont help the average person unless your wearing a suit and a tie. very unprofessional poorly managed sales staff. Wont be buying my mazda there make the trip go to san pedro mazda dealership they help all customers equally.
Went in for oil change, tire rotation and removal of lock nuts on tires due to missing key. The whole thing took over a week due to mandatory software updates and technician not being available. Also, they did not have key for lock nuts; so it needed to be ordered. All that being said, they apologized for the inconvenience and comped the service. And as usual, the dealership did an amazing job. Thanks.

Kamron Spencer is a great salesperson. We got the model, color and year that we wanted, we got a discount, we didnt pay any markup, and we got a great APR. Even though it took a long time, overall, we had a very good experience.
Had made an appointment to see a car we were interested in...car ready and clean for a nice test drive when we got there...Cameron, our sales contact got the paper work rolling...we got what we wanted and were able to also trade in our old car...We got a fantastic Ford Explorer 2018 worth only 27,000 miles on it ..great buy...very, very nice vehicle....even after sake we have received a couple of very nice follow up calls by Cameron! Now that is very nice service!
This saga begins July 18th, 44 Days before my trade in was paid off. On the date I purchased my used vehicle everything seemed to be going smooth, I had my own financing in order and expected to be in and out relatively quick. The whole day one process took between 5-6 hours. I had one item I requested be fixed as part of my purchase agreement with this dealership (headlight needed restoration). Did not seem like a big request at first but here we are. A few days later I had not heard from anyone to schedule an appointment to bring my car in for a detail and headlight restoration. I made a call and was told once the paperwork had gone through someone would be in touch. A couple days later I get a call saying there was an issue with the payoff amount. They missed $600 I owed on my trade and I would need to come in to sign another contract. Hmm OK, the numbers added up and Im not out to screw anyone, I go in at my scheduled time a couple days later and sign the new contract. I knew the payment would be higher but when we asked if and how much higher it would be we were told by Freddy in the finance dept. that it would be the same. Not more, not less, the same. That was the second wrong. My side is done yet again and I await that call to schedule an appointment. Never get it so I call a couple more times until I can finally make an appointment. I dropped off my car on a Wednesday I left with a rental. Fast forward two days and I call for status after not hearing anything. They say its ready and come on down to pick it up. I arrive for a simple headlight restoration and get notified of scratches to the paint during the restoration and I would need to make another appointment to fix that. I take the vehicle home and look at the damage done a bit closer and there were scratches and scuffs all along the headlights, not to mention the headlights looked worse than where we started (scratches and dull surface). I call in to complain about the shoddy workmanship and am told its a used car and there is only so much that can be done. I dont accept that answer and am told they will take a look again when I bring it back in to fix the paint. Appointment is made for the following Wednesday. I take it in and begin to wait. In the meantime Im checking my bank waiting for the payoff to hit...any day now...any day. I once again call in to see what the hold up is. I make it to the department that is supposedly in charge of such things...Im told since I was required to come in and sign a new contract it is taking longer since now my bank needs to cancel and fund the new amount. Im told not to worry, its a top priority and they would call me back with more info. The first of many times Im told someone will call back but nah. I never hear from anyone so I start making calls a couple times a week, speaking with managers and my salesperson. Michael seems to care and tells me hell take care of it and let me know, I never heard back. I called my salesperson and he says hell take care of it and call me back in a couple hours, I give him 4 days and call him back. I was told he had no info so he just didnt call. Helpful. I call Michael back and he takes the reigns again and actually starts to get something done. I call the service department to see how were coming along. This was finally done after 2 and half weeks, plus the initial 3 days. The car has now been paid off after them sending payment overnight..44 days after purchase and a few days after I made another car payment on the trade in. If you find a car this dealership has in stock, just wait...someone else will eventually have it also. Character limit has made so I cant put the whole story but hopefully this helps someone avoid this mess.
My car wouldnt start and I once I got jump and had the battery tested I was told something else was wrong I needed to have my car serviced. I called the dealer in New Braunfels where I bought my 2020 CX5 and they were absolutely no help. Said it would be a month before they had a loaner car and could not take the car in until that Wednesday.Called Mazda North and the guy was super friendly. Offered me a loaner vehicle since it was Saturday and they would not be able to check my car out until Monday. Completed the paper quick and had me on my way. My car was serviced and fixed by noon that Monday. The staff was just as efficient and friendly. I will return to this dealer for my future Mazda needs. Their service is just better.

Went to World Car Mazda to just see if they had a 2020 Mazda Miata on the lot. Lucky me, one just rolled off the transport truck, so new the protective skin panels hadnt been removed yet. It had the 6-speed manual transmission and was even in the color I wanted.We set an appointment for the next day and worked with Chris Stump, our sales person. He and the sales manger, Michael, were great to work with and neither of them used hard sales tactics to pressure me into buying the car.I typically get buyers remorse immediately on large purchases like this, but Im confident I walked away with a good deal and a fun car to drive.
We had a great experience with World Car Mazda, they contacted us reference the recalls our Mazda was needing and they provided a loaner car to help us with our appointments while our vehicle was being worked on. They are courteous and caring of customer needs. I would recommend it to anyone in need of service/new vehicle.
