For a luxury car dealer the customer service is AWFUL!! If you expect good customer service then avoid this place. I requested information on Friday 8/21/2020 on a vehicle to be sent to my email. Nothing. Saturday, nothing. So Monday comes by and Tim Navarrete calls me like no big deal and wants to offer me info by phone. Am I missing something? I thought I had requested info to be sent by email.. Okay so he says no problem but he has to wait for a finance manager to finish up with an actual paying customer to give that info before he can help me. All I was asking for was warranty info on a preowned landrover. It took 3.5 days to get this info sent to my email. Also, I asked to please set up time and date to come bring the vehicle to my home for a test drive and they acted as if it was an inconvenience to them. I have never heard of a luxury car dealer acting so entitled and inconvenienced. I guess business must be so good that they cannot be bothered by customer requests. Best wishes Barrett Jaguar! Car dealers are a dime a dozen in this city.
Traveling to San Antonio from California and had trouble with my windshield wiper motor (it stopped working). Even though the dealership was working on a very limited basis, they got me in, fixed my car, and were very efficient, professional, and personable about it! The waiting area is lovely, as a bonus!They were also very careful about social distancing and care in wearing gloves, masks...all made me very comfortable.Thanks, Barrett Jaguar!

I received an email stating it was time for my annual maintenance. I called for an appointment for annual maintenance and was asked my current mileage. I work so I asked for a loner car. I was told there were no loner cars for a month so I got a 7:30am appointment. I was at the dealership prior to it the Service Department opening (first car in the garage). An hour later I was told my car was not due for maintenance for another 6,000 miles. I asked why I wasn’t told this when making the appointment. The service person said they couldn’t explain why and that I should have been told.

From the beginning when I first emailed requesting information on a vehicle, I received an immediate response from our Salesperson (Rowena) who was very helpful and invited me to visit the dealership to view and test drive some vehicles. The buying process was quick and easy. The lounge area is very nice and comfortable and filled with plenty of drinks and snacks courtesy of the dealership for their customers. My vehicle was detailed and ready quickly. My entire buying process must of taken about 2 hours. Not bad when youre buying a Jaguar.

I recently purchased a new Jaguar F-Type (sight unseen) from Barrett via the Internet. Great service from Jason Todd my salesperson and Sam Rocha the General Manager. All dealings were via email communication per my request, the Barrett team respected my preference for email and were responsive throughout the transaction. Paperwork was all electronic / FedEx and Barrett even scheduled shipment of the F-Type via private carrier, passing on wholesale pricing to me. My new F-Type arrived in pristine condition a few days after the transaction closed. Barrett is truly a class act Jaguar dealership.
I purchased my used vehicle about 3 weeks ago from Barrett Motors in Boerne. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. When I picked up my vehicle, I was told to bring my car back in to get the dings in the paint cleaned up. I reached out to my salesperson to find out when I should return without any response. I tried to call service but my call was never answered and I was unable to leave a message. A little disappointed with the follow through and sense of urgency after the purchase was made.
Recently purchased an F-Type from Barrett. Years ago, I worked at both Mercedes and Audi dealerships in college and law school, so I’m familiar with the sales process and both ends of the spectrum of customer satisfaction. My experience with Barrett was at the great end. Easy process, knowledgeable staff, honest answers, and a down-to-earth attitude, which is rare in an upscale environment. In fact, they called me after I had already signed the paperwork and told me that they found a way to SAVE me even more money! How often does that happen? Clearly someone there has a conscience and values honesty. Would not hesitate doing business with them again.
Just cant get over the customer service that Barrett Jaguar and Barry our sale man have given us. Even Erin one of the managers went out of her way to accommodate us. Had an issue with the vehicle we had just purchased that was really no ones fault. Battery on the car went bad as was likely the original. Needless to say called Barry and he immediately took care of the problem. Had us take vehicle to service center and they diagnosed and corrected the problem. No hassle no questions asked. Even provided us a loaner. All this over the New year holiday. Barrys words to me were, Once a customer always a customer. All I can say is the customer service and professionalism are amazing!

Awesome people just checked in car for service. I mistakenly showed up a day early and they didnt hesitate to take it in early and bring me home. The people work great together another guy checked me in because the person who I was going to see had a customer.
First the only reason I recommend Barrett Jaguar is because it’s the ONLY jaguar dealership in San Antonio, and now they’re moving.I took my 2011 Jaguar XF in for an oil change and an inspection, and I asked them to check my brakes as I’d just bought the car and the brakes felt funny.After the oil change and inspection the dealership gave a list a problems with my car. My brakes were not on the list, I asked the jaguar rep “how are my brakes?” He said fine. I asked did anyone actually test drive my car? He said he’d have another look at my brakes!A few days later the jaguar rep said I’d need new brakes (disks and pads with sensors) on all four corners.I asked the rep to fix my brakes and replace my drivers side door lock as it wasn’t working correctly.A week later later I got my car back and the door lock still wasn’t working correctly, in fact it wouldn’t lock at all even with the key now. The Jaguar rep said bring it back, they had my car a day or 2 and said it’s all ready now. I got my car back and noticed a low coolant light was on, (when you get an oil change they check all the levels)So now I’m wondering if they actually did change my oil and if they totally forgot to change my drivers lock.Anything thing, when I took my car in everything was fine on the outside. Now I have a chrome price hanging on my truck, that wasn’t before I took it it.This whole experience cost me $2200I did call the dealership and ask to speak to a manager, but I never did talk to anyone cause I felt I’d be wasting my time as no one cared. Shame

No lines in their service center3. Always calling us and updating the status of our car4. Takes care of our needs by giving us a loaner car every time they need to fix our car.5. Don’t be fooled here. They don’t warranty their vehicles and make fixing the problem so difficult. I’m glad I went right down the road and got a Cadillac instead. Way better quality anyways. They will say to call so they can help, but they won’t actually do ANYTHING to fix the problem. Just makes them look good for you who read the reviews. Beware.

The service is great once you can get access to them to get an appointment. Since they split off from the Maserati and Ferrari, you can’t get a hold of any one. I called their Boerne number and it goes to the old dealer where I bought the vehicle last year. They transfer you to the Boerne locale and no one answers. I left a message and no one called me back. Don’t try the chat function either because they gave me 3 numbers that were out of order. Finally after leaving a 3d message someone called back. They have courtesy transportation with excellent service. Took me home and picked me back up when my vehicle was ready. I ordered some touch up paint and still waiting for a call to let me know it’s ready. That was almost 3 weeks ago and I prepaid.

I have never intended to lease or buy a Jaguar nor was in my search list of cars as BMW and Audi, for I had past bad experience when Ford owned Jaguar. During my search on the internet Jaguar kept popping on my search list as one of the best cars, specifically Jaguar XE 35t. In lieu of not wanting to look at Jaguar I decided to give it a go and contacted Barrett Jaguar for test drive after test drove BMW 340i and Audi A4. I test drove with Jason, Barrett Jaguar sale, the Jaguar XE 35 Prestige, I now own, with quite of skepticism in mind. From the moment I sat in the car I knew this car is nothing I could ever predicted on so many levels, starting from car workmanship with emphasis to details, features and to top it all the performance, responsiveness. I personally do not like to drive in spite that I drove Audi A4 for years, but Jaguar XE 35t far exceeded my wildest anticipations of what car is. Every time I drive the car I smile because it is so great simply put I Love my car, and named her “Speedy” not to mention I intended to keep her for many years to come.As to the team at Barrett Jaguar they are wonderful and they made sure to have the purchase process as simple and fast, my hat is off to you guys.As final Note, what you read is my personal and honest impression and I am NOT representative of Barrett Jaguar aside from being a customer and I believe if one does a good job it shouldn’t go without noticed.Thanks.
Reason for the 1 star and it has nothing to do with the service people... everyone there has done great, from the reps to the ladies who lend cars.the reason for the one star and if I could leave 0 i would, is who ever left my car parked outside or whatever basically ruined my paint job. extremely hard water spots were left to dry on them and now i cant get them removed without having to possibly pay a couple hundred dollars. these things are now etched into my paint.highly displeased

Always a positive experience when I take my car to Barrett. I drive from Austin to San Antonio just for the cutomer service alone. The employees at Barrett are true professionals and give you the red carpet treatment no matter where you purchased your vehicle from. If only the dealership in Austin treated its customers the same way I would have to drive almost two hours for service. Oh well to San Antonio I will drive until the life of my vehicle expires. The customer service here is amazing! Manny Garcia worked with me and he did not treat me like I was a customer off the street. Instead, he really listened to my needs and did not pressure me into anything outside of my requirements for leasing a car. When I came back to put my license plate on, Manny helped me right away and made sure that I was taken care of. He goes above and beyond and does so with a smile and great personality. Great service, waiting time is always longer than stated, better to drop off andpick up later, other than that they are great. The waiting facility is nice and they washed the car.... so Im still given them 5 stars, just will drop off the vehicle next time.

Service lost my keys for a day, trying to get a loaner car was a hassle. Also the sales team wanted to look at my vehicle to for an appraisal and failed to do so even after I notified them that the vehicle would be there an extra day due to the lost key. Eventually the key was found, however this kind of service is lackluster; especially for a Jaguar dealership. The people are friendly enough, but do not instill a sense of competence with respect to customer service and vehicle maintenance.

Took longer than I thought, but that was because of the warranty company.Paring with the phone, the module had to be replaced twice. I am happy over all, and my service rep kept me in the loop with updates.Some items should be checked twice before delivery to client would relieve a lot of stress.
Great service, but it took absolutely to long, 4 hours to complete the routine yearly service on a leased vehicle is observed. I had a scheduled appointment for 10am and my vehicle wasnt ready until 2pm, and I was on time. My service righter went the back and brought my vehicle to the front to me, I was tired of waiting.

The experience was my first with Barrett Jaguar. They were very professional.The waiting room was very nice with complimentary drinks and snacks. They did not hear the noise I said my car was making, but the noise is still there. Otherwise the car is running nicely. I also got a complimentary car wash.

Giving a 2 but ONLY because of the detail service. Service Advisors have always been great! Friendly, great follow up and very thorough in explaining work that needs to be performed on my car. However, I took my jaguar in for a detail because quite frankly based on my past experience, they were the best and the work was well worth $200. Not sure what happened but yesterday I was significantly disappointed. I admit I’m picky but every single window had handprints, I don’t mean fingerprints, I mean handprints. As did the hood. The console was dirty too. Absolutely lacked attention to detail I was accustomed to based upon my past experience. :( The service advisor was kind and gave me half off but I’ll stick to the Wash Tub in the future.

Came in for recall air bag on a 2010 xf l that I recently bought. Staff was great, very professional. They took a bit longer than first estimate but washed the cat and gave me a free oil change which was nice. A dash defrost vent was broken during repair and after a brief discussion they sent me the part which was fair and appreciated. Would like it if jaguar would make original sticker and repair info available to all jag owners not just original, that is quite frustrating I must admit. Thank you Barret for all the help. I also had a good visit with a salesman from Detroit who made me appreciate Jaguar even more and helped pass the time while waiting for my repair.
