I always get great service here. The employees at Universal are positive and helpful. Recently, I had a major repair and the estimate they gave me was less than a competitors by nearly half, and then when the final bill came due it was $200 less than the estimate! These guys are the real deal. In my opinion, Universal is worth driving across town for, even if you have another Toyota service center nearby.

Everyone is nice and the actual service seems like conscientious work. But making an appointment doesnt really mean anything and wasted a lot of my time. Had an appointment at 9:00 and was told the work was going to be about 3 or 4 hours so I said I wont wait around. Came back at 1:30 and they hadnt even started. The Service Manager said it was because I wasnt a waiter and he moved me back to the top when I showed up (and he confirmed that is the official policy when I questioned). I expect to make an appt to have a waiting technician and bay for my vehicle at that time (I dont make a reservation to get to talk to the hostess at that time...I am expecting a table...or substitute whatever analogy you want here). I would have saved time by driving in at 1:30 and just waiting. As it was, I didnt have my vehicle until 4:00 pm.

Hit or miss on who you get and deal with. I will say EVERYONE is nice and courteous, but that doesnt always translate into helpful. Id encourage you to be very proactive in inquiring about scheduling and about how long your repair will take and when to expect your vehicle ready.

It was good the one who helped me was very helpful and frendly.But when you call in to ask hiw long it will take to service your car they shold be abke to give you an answer if you have a appointment.Because if its going to be a long wait then you can have someone pick you up and you can just drop it off.

Top notch service, great service writers to take care of you. You get someone like Amanda or David, you got a real person that care and understand why you came there. They get you and your needs. Amanda is my service person and let me tell you, I FEEL SPECIAL evrrytime i go. Ask for any avalable coupon or look them up yourself and save a buck or two. Its your money and your time, spend it being cared for not tossed aside. This Toyata is a great run store. Friendly and helpful. I know a few of the mechanics, they have been servicing cars and trucks for years at that location. They Are Good.

Serviced my wifes 2020  Toyota Corolla Hybrid  at Universal Toyota on March 09, 2921.    Made an appontment with their service department to turn in vehicle at 0700 Oclock for a  6 month, 2 year servicing.    Under the warranty, they processed the auto, rotated tires, replaced engine oil and filter, & made a multi-point inspection check while I waited inside enjoying a cup of coffee and admiring the new models.    Since we do not  watch mechanics at work,  we must trust the dealer  and our motor instincts that the job has been done correctly.  The Corolla was returned within the hour.  There were no charges.   Disappointed that oily smudges were on the front passenger seat.    Universal Toyota apologized & corrected immediately.

Called in to schedule a timing belt and water pump package on my 2003 Lexus gx470. I would have been a first time customer and have only heard great things over the years about this dealer.Spent over 15 minutes trying to get a price quote for the work with their service dept and was left on hold until I finally gave up on these guys.Service Dept is not interested in your business.

Took My daughter today for her regular maintenance on on her Camry also a recall for the dash on her car. Maintenance was done and in good time. And called in a claim for the recall and was ordered and will return for a later date. All in all great service. PS four members of our family own Toyotas. We are a Toyota family! We are all happy and satisfied.

I got a new battery, a tire plugged and an alignment. It took 3 hours in which the alignment took 1 and a half hours and only 1 of the bars on each side needed adjusted. I should have been told beforehand that it was going to be that long. I was unhappy about that but the work was fine

Not sure the value of scheduling a routine maintenance time on the website. I used it twice in one week, one for my van the other for my RAV and each incident I arrived early for my scheduled appointment (15-minutes and 1-hour respectively). Each case the vehicle does not enter the bay for the maintenance until 1.25 - 1.5 hour after my scheduled appointment time and so I leave about 2.0 hours after my time slot. The concern is other customers arrive after I had already checked in for their maintenance (I know because they are behind me in the line) and are leaving 30-45 minutes before me. Does makes sense on how this process works.

2 hours for a simple oil change. Making an appointment didn’t matter since “service department is backed up” Go somewhere else for timely service where being punctual actually matters. Next time I’d rather drive across town to get in and out in a decent amount of timeEdit: 10 month update and numerous visits with both cars later...service has improved and communication is happening! Hopefully the service doesn’t drop back to where it was before which was paltry at best. 1hr 15min for oil change is better than 2hrs and some change

Universal Toyota had my vehicle for warranty work. They had it for 5 weeks to repaint some peeling paint that was being covered under warranty, and to replace the torque converter . When I received the vehicle back, they didn’t do all the paint work they said they’d do. When I brought this up to the service tech, she tried to blame it on the body shop.Then, when I drove off the lot, as soon as I accelerated, my slip light came on and stayed on.They’re 0 for 2 as it sits now.

If you have head aches toyota gives foot surgery in my experience 🙄the outside mechanics told me to Cheng my toyota Prius break fluid so the mechanic just take out fluid from rezerwar and pure it with new one withou flashing then the Abs.vcs. lights come on he told me just drive it it will turn off by it self with couple mile drive . I go directly to the Toyota dealership they dignoz my car for $135 and says u need to Cheng ur engine coolant control valve. To caste me $650 I dont accept it I told them its not related to that Abs lights when I take my car without repairing the lights was turned off by it self. The toyota mechanics dont no nothing just eat money by the name of dignoz which that dignoz another Autopart seller do it for free .

My sales person was David, he speaks English and Spanish very fluent. He was very kind and detailed in his explanations about the purchase. I didnt feel forced at all. David and the financing person know their work very well and clarified each of our doubts. The process was quick and not stressful at all. Grateful!!!
