Bicycle Heaven is a fantastic bike store. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. Ryan helped me pick out a new bicycle and was patient with my numerous questions as I am new to riding. He made purchasing my new bike feel like I was investing in my happiness and health. I went to a couple different bike shops before making a bike purchase with Bicycle Heaven. They make you feel at home and part of the family. I never feel nervous about asking questions whether it be a newbie question or more advanced question. Thank you Bicycle Heaven for being there for my bike needs.

Took my bike for a tuneup and front brake service, they service the brake which the install the cable wrong. Few day later took the bike to the colonnade location at soon David saw the bike told me that cable was install wrong could be danger on a sharp turn, so they fixed and did the tuneup on the bike because on NW Military location they even lube the chain and I pay $75 for tuneup.My suggestion take your bike at colonnade location and great costumer service.

Decent supply of bike range, nice environment, customer service hit or miss. Overall it’s an ok experience for the area: most of the employees have been nice to work with (Matt and Greg have been great!).- I had a couple of bike cleaning/tune ups that were pretty bad for the amount of money you pay (caked on dirt/mud, shifting/brakes that were blah). Owner reached out and made things right on this front and things have improved tremendously. Not sure if it’s just for me because of the previous bad experience, but nonetheless My experience on this front has improved greatly and my bikes are cleaned and tuned up to look like new.- It’s definitely a different experience if you buy a bike from there showroom vs buying it online and picking it up. I recently purchased a bike from specialized.com and picked it up from the store. I was called and notified when the bike was ready; they said they had emailed me twice saying the bike was complete. Since I didn’t receive any of those emails I asked what email they sent it to. I was told since I wasn’t there customer they don’t know what email it was sent to. I’ve spent close to 20k at this bike store over the past two years, so to hear that I’m not there customer kind of took me by surprise. I also purchased a frame online and had the store build up the bike and I was informed that because I bought the frame from specialized.com and not the store, I wouldn’t have the same length of follow up/support that I would have if I had bought everything at the store. Just seems odd to hear, given the frame was $1500 and I spent ~$9000 at the store having the bike built. Not asking for extra support or VIP service, but I don’t need to have shade thrown my way for not buying directly from the store. Not trying to short anyone on money, credits, or whatever incentives might be there, I’m just trying to pick up a bike while it’s available and still support the local bike shop.

Awesome bike shop. Came in late on a Friday afternoon 100% expecting to drop off my bike for repairs due to the long holiday weekend and pre-existing orders. However, I was super impressed that they took a look right away and fixed my bike while I waited in the store! Deff coming back for any bike needs.

Great shop and service! These guys are great. Greg worked with me to pick out the right bike that fit my riding style. He ordered it and kept me up on the status as things were going progressing. Greg even made himself available via text, which shows how dedicated he is to the customers he works with and how he excels at customer service. My bikes crank set gave out and had to get it fixed up. With Covid, a lot of local bike shops stopped doing repairs (understandably) thankfully this place is still up and running (everyone had mask!) sent my bike in on a Saturday right before closing time and they had it ready Monday morning looking better then ever. They explained exactly what needed to get repaired and never tried to be pushy about buying anything else. They also didn’t charge an arm and a leg to get it done so overall I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a reliable bike shop during these crazy times.

I took my bike (I have owned it for 8 years or so) for minor repairs and they did a great job. When I went to the park for a ride the bike felt as if it was brand new. Totally recommend the place! Best cycling business in town.First, regardless of which location you visit, both are very professional, and very welcoming. Even during COVID 19 restrictions, this place is worth waiting for. The products they sell are high quality, and the employees knowledge of the products is on point. Also, the cost of their products is reasonable.Second, The quality of service they provide goes far above my expectations. I thought it was time to let go of my Schwinn hybrid cruiser, but after a simple tune-up and a couple of replaced parts (chain and rear cassette), my bike is better then when it was new, and I really enjoy riding it again.My only disappointment with this business is I wish I would have found this place sooner.

This was my first time purchasing a road bike and the 2 guys that helped me Ryan & Isiah were so helpful and friendly. They have always been kind and helpful whenever I have questions about my DIY rookie bike build, and they always have delivered great service with repairs. Nice shop but I felt like a ghost walking in here. No acknowledgement whatsoever from staff. Seems like they have one guy to work the floor and if hes with someone else, youre outta luck, even if you can do your shopping on your own. Employee at the desk was too busy on the computer and talking to techs to ring me up or even let me know he needed a second.

Very happy with my experience. I came in to buy some new shoes for my road bike. Dave and Angel were so patient as I hemmed and hawed over the correct size. It was totally worth it. They took great care of me and Ill definitely be back.

Trash customer service. Walked in And asked a few Questions about sizes of cassettes and the guy didnt even want to show me the product as I was uncertain of the measurements. When I insisted about the price he yelled $25 anf his whole energy changed to being very unwelcoming. How trashy.

Go in there this morning try to buy a bike. Horrible customer service from a guy . He say he is the mechanic. Ask how long it take to build a bike . He say 3 weeks because I took him away for questions. he want me out the door so I don’t ask anymore questions. Felt Intimidated by this so call mechanic. Why should I spend my few thousands dollars there when there are a lot of good bike shop in San Antonio . 3 weeks to build a bike LOL. Most of the bike came in box 80 percent builded . This place is not bike heaven it’s Bike Hell . There go your business and my friends and my customers business too. Because I am a restaurant owner too, now I can tell my customers where NOT to buy bike

Best bike shop in town! Theyre always there with great repair advice, even if you dont buy anything. Went in for cable ends, and was given a handful. All they asked was that I try a new cliff bar, or drink. Went in for a longer brake mounting nut. Was given one for free. Will definitely purchase all of my future bikes, and gear here!

Worst costumer service ever from the owner to the employees not recommend for nothing

After purchasing a $700 bike I was sent home to austin thinking we had all our accessories. When we made it back to austin I realized they don’t put the bell I had purchased for my daughters bike on the actual bike. It was along day and my mistake I should have double checked the work. However I drive all the way back to San Antonio to pickup the bell, only to get back to austin and it doesn’t fit my Daughters bike properly! I’m most irritated at this whole situation!! I would make sure you double check the work they promise to do or have done. Also check your receipt my mother had several thing happen as well on her bike order from here. Over charged by a couple hundred dollars. Until she called them out!I wouldn’t repurchase a bike from here again. Or have any type of work done.

I thought the prices were a little high when i first walked in but the customer service is totally worth it and at the end of the day I didnt mind spending the money. Brittney was just awesome.

First time we went to Bicycle Heaven. We needed some repairs on our other bikes and ended up with that and a new bike😁. Cane was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and not at all pushy. We went to see them based on the google reviews and they were worth every star.

These folks are great. I had been basically a casual rider in the past and stepped away from the habit for a number of years before returning. When I decided to get back into riding for health reasons, I stopped by a number of shops before finding Bicycle Heaven. This place was the only one where I wasnt treated with disdain for not being a serious rider. They were patient with me, answered all my questions, and continue to take care of every need or concern I have. They now maintain my hybrid (regrettably, not purchased here) and my trail (purchased here) bikes. They take care of every upgrade and offer outstanding and thoughtful customer service. I am considering a road bike and this is the one place I will shop.

They replaced both of my (very worn) mt bike tubes & tires after showing me that were dangerous to ride AT closing time. They stayed 20 minutes AFTER closing time to get it done right. Who else does that? They could have easily told me to come back the next day. They are always very informative and friendly. Even though they are a lot further from me than other shops, Bicycle Heaven has my business for life!

Ive had great experiences with both repairs and help deciding on which bike to purchase. They let me demo 2 bikes on the trails I was comfortable with and knew well. If you ask questions on how to maintain a bike they always answer.

I began as a novice cyclist in 2007. I attempted the Sweatin Burnt Orange ride and met some very nice people (Jen & Kim Ciolli) who rode what I thought were “extremely exotic Cervelo bicycles.”😉 I quickly asked them where they did most of their shopping, and they told me Bicycle Heaven. That was when the shop was located in Stone Oak, and I made a trip over there and left with a Pinarello Prince! 😳#MoreMoneyThanBrainsSince that time, I started doing their shop ride and then got talked into doing some races. I put in a ton of effort but rose from a Cat 5 to a Cat 2 road cyclist. I love everything about this job including their employees who will sacrifice just to make sure you can keep riding your bike. Maitland is such an awesome guy, but you should really call him Victor.🤪

Perfect mix of expertise and polite customer service. I saw the staff walk a couple in their 70s through a tire repair and also talk me through all of my questions on a high end road bike. Most bike store workers either dont know anything or are elitist jerks, these guys knew their stuff and were very friendly and helpful. I will buy a bike from them in the future.

I diverted a long ride from 1604 with my boys last Saturday to Bicycle Heaven when a pedal stripped out and fell off my sons bike. They immediately fixed a temporary pedal to it on the spot for free which helped us finish our ride back up north. Also, they continued to stop what they were doing to research and order the parts for me... and included a military discount. Additionally, when I walked in last night to drop off the bike, they knew me by name and personally met me inside the door to explain installing the parts. Wow! New customer and service is well worth drive into the city.

Great shop. I could have gotten my bike cheaper at Planet Bike, but the owner explained that I was buying the service as well as the bike. He was right. Service is always fantastic. I dont think theyve ever charged me when Ive brought the bike in for little problems.

READ THIS. Bicycle Heaven is extraordinary... what a REAL local bike shop is supposed to be. I wanted to get back into cycling so I found a good Trek 29er on Craigslist. Good shape, but I later began having some issues. Needed some tweaking. I was trying to keep the project fairly cheap due to a tight budget this month. I explained it all to Kane. I expected to drop it off... and return in a week? NOPE! Kane immediately went to work. He helped me with a minor tune-up, tweaked the derailleur, installed new grips, and he resolved some major issues I was having with my pedals and saddle. He did all this within a SHORT period of time... while I was holding my baby son and browsing the store. He even kept an eye on my boy while I test drove the bike with the changes. He did so much to HELP... mainly by solving all issues, and doing everything he could to keep the project cheap. Even though he didnt have to. Thats the difference between a regular bike STORE that just sells stuff..... and a local bike shop who cares about cycling and sharing the fun. GOOD JOB. They earned a life-long customer.

First spoke to Dave on the phone and he encouraged me to bring my bike by even though he explained they would be unable to order Cannondale parts should it need them. He met me at the door 15 minutes later and their team went right to work on it. In the end, the shock just needed some air. I had them also put two new tubes on, and—in addition to the impeccable service and friendliness—I received an over-the-top education on several topics: how my particular shock functions, bike lights in general, and pumps. Seriously, these guys were on their game—from Dave, to Greg (the mechanic), and Matt (the owner); they all took time to speak with me, and each was sure to tell me bye on my way out. I highly recommend this place, as it is clearly a well-oiled machine. BTW, they didnt even charge me for servicing the shock. These guys have class.

The person who helped lacks any kind of customer service skills, specially when it comes to a new customer with beginner skills.He didnt make any effort to provide helpful information, it looked as he was being forced to work there. I was about to make a purchase, but after some reflection I asked my self Why should I buy at a store where the sales minion is being a jerk???. REALIZED the mistake I was about to make and decide to leave the store.Ive made a promise to not go back there in my life, and will do all I can to warn all potential customers, specially since my expertise is in the social media marketing arena.So please, yes, I am talking to you potential customer....Do not buy anything from here!

I have a new Cervelo C2, I bought it online and they suggested that I take the bike to a place I trust to have it tune up before using it and take it to Bicycle Heaven since I TRUSTED THEM. Big mistake !!! They did not do the service and they charged for it, I started using the bicycle and it has given me problems that they should have detected and corrected. NOT A PLACE YOU CAN TRUST.
