Best mechanic service by far, especially for women. Most mechanic shops rip ladies off because they take advantage of women not knowing a lot about vehicles. Not this place! As a matter of fact, all the times I have been there, the majority of the clients I see lined up are women. The price of their services are decent and they perform their duties in a timely manner. Very poor customer service. I called ahead of time to make sure they had the tires in stock. They said they had all 4. Told them I’d send my husband right away. And that I only needed 3. Get there not even an hr later and they won’t sell my husband but two tires. No one would talk to him. So I called again while he was there and asked why I was lied too. They placed me on hold. Pretending to go and talk to my husband. The lady said I could order the tire for tomorrow and never came back to the phone. They left me on hold until I hung up. I felt really really offended by how they treated us. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. I spoke to 3 different people and all of them were of no help. 2 men and 1 female. They told my husband they couldn’t order another tire. I think it had something to do with the fact that we’re African American. I’m Very disappointed. Very bad experience. I guess yu get what you pay for.

I came here for the first time on October 16th. I had some exhaust repair and a State Inspection. The guys here were great and for as busy as they were, everyone in the area must know that too.

They have sold me great used tires for a fraction of the cost of new. I have used them for two different vehicles. The tires still had the little hairs of rubber on the tire like new tires have and they lasted a long time. You can take your own tires and they will mount and balance them for around 40 to 60 bucks. They are quick buy they also get really busy too. Overall they have good service but most employees only speak Spanish but understand English.

I’m telling you, if you need areal tire shop with speed, coke here. Top notch customer service and will repair your tires. Cannot stress enough how great the customer experience here is.

Im sure theres a stigma surrounding small tire shops on the west side but Casias surpasses that in many ways. Fast service. Honest work. You can watch them. You can tip the guys directly. These guys bust it and do their best. Ive got a few times for different reasons such as a O2 sensor being welded on or a spring loaded onto a strut. Anytime I need work completed they always clarify what needs to happen what I want and give me an accurate time. I have a lot of respect for in mechanics because they are busting it. Sure its not the best in the world but they do a great job and for the pricing for the what they do its reasonable youre paying for that professional knowledge that they have had for years. I will always bring my cars in for anyting I need.

Another auto shop wanted to change out my transmission…when in reality all my car needed was the throttle body replaced. Took them a couple hours to replace the part. Car is running like new. Ladies in the front office are very hard working and attentive as well. Will be using them from now on. Honest and professional.

I have been a customer of this business for years. My daughter recently was in an accident at the fault of an unlicensed employee who was operating a vehicle while on the clock. This business acted like they were going to make things right which was all talk. They are crooked. One for having an unlicensed person operating vehicles and two for not taking responsibility for their error. I am greatly disappointed at their lack of sympathy to this matter. I am having to pay $2,300 for the damages their employee caused. They are otherwise a good business but they have lost a customer. I speak for myself and every friend or family member that I have ever referred.

Brought in 4 tires to get swapped out on our Silverado. It was around 85 bucks that included balancing and a new valve. Its usually really busy at this shop and I like their prices for their used tires. They are my go to store for used tires they look almost new and perform like new. The only problem is most employees only speak Spanish but they get the job done.

They have 1 mechanic thats worth anything. They overcharge for simple repairs. For example almost 300 to replace a 20 dollar thermostat. If u value your time and money. Go to a professional. They dont charge near as much and the work is by far superior.

Ive been going there for years with multiple vehicles, everything from alternators, to radiators, belts, alignment, I would go there for tires but I go back further with Discount Tire. But, if Discount ever messes up, Ill go to Casias for tires too. Very fair price, very communicative, the mechanic will be called to the front if you have questions.

A Discount competitor down the street said it would take them 3.5 hours to plug my tire that had a nail in it.I took it to Casias and they did it in 15 minutes! Sure I got charged $8 dollars, but I was back on the road with my tire fixed in no time!Everyone there was working hard and fast. Great job Casias and thanks for being there when I needed you.

Get in where you fit in!! This fast paced but organized shop is super busy but super attentive. As soon as one vehicle left another vehicle was being ushered in to an open bay, they kept people moving... THANKS to Javier for getting my new 37”s on 20x12 wheels mounted and balanced in a timely and professional manner. One stop shop, definitely using these folks in the future... THANKS AGAIN

Went yesterday to get some new rims and tires installed and the ended up scratching the parts of the rim where the lug nut goes which is still fairly noticeable, they also left a scratch on my car that went all the way down to the primer. Now I’ll need to spend more money for a touch up kit (for my car paint) and my rims cannot be easily touched up since it was custom paint. Spent $80 for bad service and another headache. Avoid this place, there are other shops nearby that would pay definitely more attention for the same if not a better price.

In 20 mins, my tire was patched up (I had a nail), I paid and was in my way.Best and fastest service I have ever had. I would highly recommend this business. They are set up to repair tires like at an Indy Race Track. You drive in, jack up car, and within minutes my nail was out and the tire was patched. Amazingly quick.Bring some tip money. These guys are great.

I used to recommend this place to everyone for tires, but yesterday I accidentally left my purse in the car while they were working on it & came back to money taken from my wallet. I rarely keep cash on me and had pulled it out specifically took it out for the tire shop and another errand I was running after, went straight home and the money was gone.Whoever the man I spoke with on the phone was zero help, rude, and did nothing to try to make it right when I was scheduled to get more things fixed at their shop.I understand that things happen and they can’t be responsible for everything but the lack of care they had about the situation and the nerve of him to tell me that maybe I shouldn’t leave my bag places is ridiculous. I didn’t realize I was going to be away from my car for so long or else I would have grabbed my bag.I’ve never had anything stolen from me at a business until yesterday, and due to the way they handled the situation I will never be going back.

I had very good work done at a fair price. My first time at Casias. This place is sometimes crazy busy and it may be hard to find parking. This is a bare bones operation so dont expect to enjoy a big screen and champagne while waiting (if you wait). Overall, a good business experience.

Needed a part replaced. They had to order it on Wednesday, and said to bring it in first thing Friday morning, which we did. They said it would take a couple of hours. After 5 hours I called them and was told they had to replace an engine that was brought in the night before and that mine would be ready at 5:30 or 6:00 PM. Just before they closed, called again and was told they still had work to do on it and would be ready in the morning. This was unacceptable! For one thing, they knew when we dropped it off it was NOT going to be a few hours, but instead they LIED! I and my daughter had been going there for years, but NEVER AGAIN! To lie to a customer just so they dont take their business elsewhere is extremely unprofessional. You people just lost 2 long time customers, and the BBB is going to know your practices as well!

I have always been treated well here whether I am getting a state inspection, or an oil change, or getting something on my cars fixed. The mechanics have always been courteous and friendly, yet always professional. They charge a fair price for their labor, and you know its fixed when they say its ready.....the first time!

Highly dont recommend Casias Automotive & Tire Shop! I took my car for a simple brake change (keep in mind my car didnt even need it) well i drop off my car at 1:30 and waited there untill about 3pm i went inside to check the status on my car and she said they were done,then the guy comes behind her and says we havent started yet. So then they tell me it will be another hour. Then we got in the car and drove off,my right front tire started making a rubbing noise,i take it back and they tell me the wheel bearing is broken and i need a part for $80,then we explained to them that NOTHING was wrong with our tire before getting the brakes changed my car wasnt even making ANY kind of noise. Then they say come back the next day to speak to someone else and when we do,HE tells us the part is $210! So 2 different guys and 2 different prices sounds a little sketchy to me ! Now we have to go somewhere else and get it fixed.

I went here to get a rim for the tire. the mechanic never answered the question if they even had the rim. he lift the car and left it like that for 30 minutes. other customers came and they started working on their cars.no one came to check/fix my car.this place is rude and unprofessional. Normally I have no issues with this place. Ive been bringing my car to them for a few years now. I have never been asked to leave my car overnight and this time I was told I needed to I was getting a new windshield washer pump installed as well as an oil change. I just came from picking up my car. Where it took all of 30 minutes to retrieve. I noticed I was missing a quarter of a tank of gas. That morning before I left it I had just filled my car. My seat was adjusted as if someone had driven my car. I called to let them know and all they could say was Im sorry maam I dont know how that could have happened. Never had this happen to me.

Always a pleasure getting tires from here. I deliver pizza and go through tires often. My boyfriend is a mailman so he picks up nails and screws a couple times a month. Great prices, good tires. Ive only had 2 tires go flat after purchasing (used), and when I went back they fixed for free both times. Honest company. Also got my suspension replaced and alignment done here for super cheap. BYOP. They dont let you tip on the card so please bring a bit of cash. These guys work hard.

Only went in for a state inspection all in all mediocre experience. Little bit of a wait while employee could not be located. Once he returned he took of business in timely manner. Surely tho the gentleman will have future issues regarding customer complaints about how rude he is possibly an altercation or some words because some people will not put up with it

This is the most straight forward place I know of for tires. No surprise fees/charges. If they quote a price, be confident thats what youll pay. They dont hit you with disposal, mounting, balancing fees. They even include taxes when they quote you a price.

I got a ouncture tire on i35 going towards San Antonio on Labor Day weekend. I called multiple towing services but no help. I had to drive on spare tire for 150 miles and got my tire finally.

I came in with an exhaust leak because my bolts somehow came undone (this wasnt because of them, I got it done months ago somewhere else). Roger helped me out extremely quick and was very cool and chill. I have a 370z and its very low, probably about 2-3 inches of clearance off the ground at most and they were able to safely get it onto their lift with no issues and no scraping at all. I never leave reviews but any muffler/exhaust shop that can accommodate a lowered car is a shop I have to recommend! and the service is great as well

I go in to an alignment.the lady in the office called the mechanic in the back and asked how long and how much it would be.Quoted me 85 and said theyd be able to get it done within the hour.As I waited for 45 mins the mechanic tells me that there is more issues to my vehicle and he isnt able to perform the alignment because of the list of other things that he discovered. Told me how much everything would be parts and labor and I didnt simply have the funds only the funds to do the alignment.So I told him I cant do that today so he takes the car down and tells me theres a $45 diagnostic fee (THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED) so I go in the office to speak with the lady about the situation by the time I get in the offfice shes on the phone with the machine and before she gets off the phone the gentleman in the office with her. Asks me whats going on. And they explain to me why they are charging me because I never asked them to check the alignment. At the end of it the gentleman hat was in the office with the lady tells me that he can do the alignment but with no warranty with some attitude. Which thats all I wanted in the first place and they could have said that in beginning instead of trying to up charge. The place is seems like they are out to get your money rather than to help you! And yes I still paid the diagnostics.In the front of the shop shoes they do FREE TIRE ALIGNMENTCHECKWOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

I waited for 20 minutes for someone to even act like I was trying to give this business money. I tried to ask several people if I could get some patchwork done to one of my tires and before I could even finish my sentence they would just point me to someone else and act like I was inconveniencing them. Then these pretty ladies in short shorts pulled up they were immediately helped and all their problems taken care of and were treated like paying customers. Several older men were also being ignored right after these employees came out to ask those ladies what they needed help with. They just walked right by them. Do yourself and your vehicles a favor and don’t waste money or time here unless you like cheap work and being ignored.

I wanted to upgrade to Flowmaster 50 series from stock. And I didnt want it too loud - especially inside the vehicle. The person suggested 44 series and said it is not loud like the 40 Series. It was too loud. Within the week, I called to find out if they had a 50 series and the cost. ($250). So I returned to replace it. The good thing is they replaced it quickly. I thought I would just pay the difference from the original $180. But no, they ended up charging me $30 more. $70+$30. Even after explaining that the gentleman suggested the 44 over the 50 series.He was nice about it, but he was not looking at it from the customers standpoint.

I do not trust them to work on my vehicle anymore. I had my oil pump changed on my vehicle after it started going out. They confirmed that it was the oil pump and were set to replace it, but they wouldnt be able to put a warranty on the work because the engine was knocking. If you dont know what that is or means, it almost always leads to major engine work or it completely going out. It is a very serious claim to make that I dont take lightly since my previous vehicles engine had this happen before it went out so I know what engine knock should sound like and it didnt sound like it was knocking before I took it in. I have since taken my vehicle to two separate mechanics that have listened to it and confirmed that there is no knocking of any kind happening in my engine and that they dont know why anyone would tell me that. It is for this and other previous issues getting work done on other vehicles here that I am absolutely done and will not bring my vehicle here to get work done. They do just fine on wheels and tires with a good price and when, but that is about it.

Honest and fair priced! I would definitely recommend this place they do a lot of things there such as brakes, alignment, tires, engine diagnostics, suspension, etc. I paid a fair price compared to other places. You must visit them but go early because they can get pretty busy.

I needed a new tire ASAP tonight and must have called 3 different places that were too expensive or had to order the tire first. Casias told me they had my tire at their shop and when they told me the total price on the phone, I was amazed at the deal I was getting. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and they were very professional. I will definitely be recommending them and using them again in the future.

This place was awesome from start to finish of my service. I came into get a cracked rim repaired. I was not expecting to get in and out as fast as I did or even get serviced that day as I did not have an appointment. I don’t know the name of the man who welded my rim for me, but he checked and repaired the rim within 30 mins of me getting there. His personality and customer service was great. This place is ran very efficiently. From my experience, I would highly recommend this repair shop. My rim is now good as new!! :)

Im on the fence about this place. Took my car in for somewhat major work, leaking rear main seal and oil pan gasket. Was quoted a very low price over the phone which went up a couple hundred in person and in the end was a couple hundred higher than even the second quote when it came time to pay. This might be due to them employing a number of mechanics who may quote different prices. There was a $200 difference between the phone quote and in person quote without any real explanation. I was told I would receive a call the evening I dropped the car off to provide the full estimate which was to include parts, but that never happened. The following day when I called to inquire about my truck they actually couldnt find record of me. The gentleman up front I would not describe as a people person. After he couldnt find my info I was placed on hold for 20 mins and then a woman got on the line and asked if she could help me. After about another 10 mins she found my info and told me my car was ready to be picked up, despite never providing the full estimate or me even authorizing the work. When I asked about the difference between the two initial estimates I received they actually called the first mechanic into the room to explain to me on speaker that I misunderstood and that the price I was originally quoted was wrong. All this while the man who works up front is yelling at the mechanic and telling him to explain to me he was wrong. At this point I just wanted to be done with the ordeal and agreed to pay the price. I did have a little scare that my problem may not have been fixed. After leaving my truck parked in the driveway overnight there was a new leak in my driveway with a pretty big oil stain. After washing the truck though it didnt seem to happen again, so hopefully they just left oil all over my undercarriage. All in all if the fix holds up, I will be happy given the price was only slightly higher than my next lowest estimate, though I dont think I will get any more major work done here.

Best tire shop in town. Also they all you need for car oil change, inspection, brake, any light mechanic and some more heavy mechanic. You name they do it for you.

Casias must be hurting for money because what they quoted me was more than triple the price I paid to get my vehicle running After paying them for services and still had a rough running vehicle I decided to go elsewhere had it fixed the FIRST time for a fraction of the cost that casias charged. Ill be sure to tell all of San Antonio how bad my experience was. Not to mention the guy passing vehicle inspections and being paid under the table.
