Hail-damaged car becomes AMM-damaged car. Does it become a cant fix or a wont fix situation? Read on to find out.An unfortunate run-in with golf ball sized hail led to over $8000 worth of damage on a recent year Mazda CX-5 SUV. Turned the car in April 20th, and it was finally returned for good as of September 24th - 5 months later!Initial car repair wasnt completed until July 6th. Every estimate and updated estimate given to me was missed. The first replacement roof arrived damaged and needed to be re-ordered, the paint job was done incorrectly had to be repainted, the installed trim was shop damaged and had to be replaced. The shop didnt follow through on updates as these issues happened, and estimated completion dates would come and go and Id have to reach out to find out that we were delayed another week due to shop mistakes or lack of work being done. I involved the regional manager Robert on June 17th, but that didnt speed things up at all. I contacted Robert again by both email and voicemail on July 1st, but never received a call back. We were finally notified that the car was ready after 11 weeks of repair time.My wife arrived to pick up the car and she immediately noticed visible scratches and missing paint on the repainted lift gate (pic). The key fob was damaged at the shop causing a keyless system malfunction (pic). The cruise control system and blind spot monitoring system were both no longer functioning. The passenger door was not watertight and the interior column became soaked as soon as it rained. The car was returned for further work (to a closer AMM shop - Anderson Mill) on July 12th. I did a full walk-around of the vehicle with my contact there, and provided a list of all the issues (pic). Got a call July 29th that the car was ready. The car was a mess. There were MORE issues with clear coat bubbling, there wasnt any repainting so all issues with chipped edges on panels, bare metal patch and scratches on lift gate, popped bubbles in paint layer, and more that I covered with them were still there. Trim wasnt installed correctly. It was a complete neglect to repair many of the obvious issues that were covered in the original complaint, my call with Regional Manager Robert, my walk around of the vehicle with staff, AND on the printed list of issues I provided them.I refused delivery and requested a meeting with Robert. We did a walk around of the vehicle, I gave him all the details and a write-up of what was wrong. He promised to make the vehicle a priority and expected it would be 8-10 days shop time (back again at the San Pedro location) to complete. That was August 4th. Communication since was horrible, he didnt follow-up with me and Id reach out to try and find out the cars status. Finally, after no response to texts + a call to Robert for a week, I called the shop on September 20th and found out that my car was ready for delivery. Javier agreed to send me the documentation on car repairs completed and call right back after scheduling delivery (as Im 1 1/2 away from the shop). Never heard back and didnt get the promised documentation, so I called next day. Javier let me know Id hear from the towing company that evening or the next day, promised to send me to car repair documentation. Got a call from the shop the next day that the car could be delivered that evening, but the car never showed up. Called next afternoon and they said I cancelled the delivery. Tried to reschedule.Continued in photos...
My bumper sensor got loose when I got my Ford Expedition (similar model shown in my picture, but its not my actual car) washed. The result was an annoying beep whenever I backed up the car.I had seen ProCare in my daily travels and decided to give them a shot. Their waiting room was very clean and the staff was friendly. Joe Ortiz in particular was patient with me and went over all of my options and broke down the costs so I understood what to expect. In the end, I was able to get my repairs done, faster than expected and they reduced the cost once they realized one of the fixes was actually easier than it appeared from the outside during the quote estimate.I can respect ProCare as they are patient, honest and do the work better than expected.
Had very bad experience with ProCare. Not keeping the promised timeline and not professional in their business. On April 16th 2021, Took my car to AMM collision in Leander for fixing hail damage happened on my brand new car. But I was given option by Leander regional manager to send it to San Antonio and get it fixed in one month. THIS IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I DID SENDING MY CAR FROM LEANDER TO SAN ANTONIO WHICH MADE ME TO WORK WITH ROBERT REGIONAL MANAGER AND SAM SERVICE PERSON ONLY OVER PHONE.It was promised to me that it will get fixed in one month. But real fact is month after month, I got new reasons from Sam for not getting ready. Please don’t expect any calls, texts or emails from them. They will never update you about the status. Finally on July 28th, Car got delivered with safety sensing on the windshield not working and also with 2 minor scratches. The service person Sam said he will send his tech person to fix this issue. But none shown up till now. I am trying to reach Sam for last 3 months. No response to my calls and texts. I even tried to reach the regional manager Robert. No response from manager as well. I am still waiting for them to fix the issue.I don’t think they really care about their customers.I will never go to ProCare in future anytime.
Joe was great! Very professional. I was able to get my vehicle repaired and get on with my day in no time. I highly recommend this place. Im going here from now on anytime my car needs repairs.
I took my van to rework previous shop repairs. Procare did a phenomenal job on the repair and am extremely happy with the results. Enterprise was nearby so I was able to pick up my rental quickly and was able to drop off my rental at the shop. I wish I had just come here first. Thank you for the excellent work.
My experience with procare was very very professional, courtesy and genuine respect.
Had a bullet fall from the sky and hit the hood of my brand new car. Took it in to ProCare to be repaired. They did a great job. Looks good as new and I am very pleased. Sam was the service person that took care of me. He was very professional and informative. Thank you ProCare for a job well done.
We went there for the tiniest scratch on a brand new 2021 Camry. Since then we had to leave it with them three different times because they can’t get it right and every time they tried to fix a piece of chip paint or a scratch it came back worse than it was the first time we finally just kept it because we got tired of messing with them. It still is not right but when do you say is enough is enough and cut your losses. Not to mention all the times they said they would call us they would never call us back to tell us it was ready we would have to drive by and see our vehicle sitting there one of the times they had it they had it for a whole week and never even worked on it. Just horrible horrible job done we were missing parts of the inside of the door when we got the car back also. So if you do decide to use this business check and double check all your parts are on your vehicle when it is returned. I have never seen such careless service they truly just don’t care. Sam the service guy was great he was put in such a spot because no one else did their job. Good luck!!
I took my 2006 GMC Sierra to get repair after being rear ended. My Claim was through Progressive Insurance. Sam was great and went into detail in letting me know what the damages were, when I dropped it off. I was impressed with the quality of work when I picked it up yesterday, Sam was awesome!!!
Don’t waste your time and money going here. Repair quality, timeliness of repair, and customer service are horrible. Had to bring my vehicle back for rework after 3 months. Paint on hood was bubbling. Front bumper was separating because they forgot to put the securing clips in, decals on rear of car werent installed, securing clips for wheel well mud guards were broken and coming out. Prearranged a repair time for the rework and was told repairs would be done in 2 days. On day 4 and repairs still not done. Parts that came in 2 days ago were still not installed. Every time I spoke with the service writer there was a different excuse as to why repairs werent done yet. Service writer would not return phone calls for updates as promised. I had to contact him everytime for updates. Paid for daily rental car insurance while waiting for my vehicle to be repaired. Because this organization was unable to repair my vehicle correctly the first time and because they arent timely with repairs it cost me money out of my pocket. There are plenty of quality collision centers out there so save yourself a headache and choose one of them instead.
Spoke with Javier Espinosa. I asked for an estimate for my tail gate handle as I couldnt open tail gate. Mr. Espinosa take my truck into the repair area and returned in a few minutes with the tail gate opened. He explained to me the reason why it was no operational. A broken spring. I had the part and I told I wanted to replace the part myself. No problem he said and there was no charge. Mr. Espinosa was a great estimator and mechanic and help me understand how the handle works. He was professional yet friendly and a love all Honest! Thank you Javier. In the future, if I need auto body services, Pro Care will be my first and only choice all because of people like Mr. Espinosa. Thank you.
Sam was pleasant to deal with. The 2 young women at the front desk were polite although they did not seem to want to be very heppful. I ended up having to go back M insoee to ask how long it would be because my friend that was assisting me with dropping my car off needed to be back home to rest for work and she was in some pain from a medical issue.
This was on Progressive insurance list of preferred repair shops. I read other reviews and decided to go with them. Progressive also paid for our rental through Enterprise who gladly picked me up to get our rental. They quoted 3 week repair but had it ready in 8 days! From beginning to end Sam was informative, professional and a pleasure to work with. Our truck looks like new!!!Thanks Procare!!
Needed to take car twice to this place. Did not fix the car right the first time.I also waited 20 minutes in the lobby to be helped. They told me to come at 5 30pm to pick up the car but they close at that time !Will update review if anything positive happens .
We have 3 vehicles that have suffered hail damage. Stephanie has been great to work with, always keeping us updated on the progress of the repairs. Cars look good as new, would use them again.
Very helpfull, they offer cold water while your getting your car taken care of. Service was kind and fast.
Took my vehicle to them at the request of Geico. WORST MISTAKE EVER! Its been 34 days and I still dont have my car. The repair was supposed to be 10 days. Every time I called I was told just a few more days, just a few more days. They have no problem lying to you! Will never do business with them again!
My Buick Encore suffered significant hail damage from a recent Texas thunderstorm. Though other auto repair services told me they could not take my car in for several weeks ProCare said come on in. My service writer, Stephanie Kershner prepared my estimate and submitted it the same day. She also forecast two to three weeks for completion. As it turns out ProCare repaired the damage in two weeks following the first week waiting for my un-named, but nationally known insurance provider to approve everything. Stephanie kept me updated on progress and Joe let me know the day it was ready for me to pickup. My car was returned to me repaired, clean and shiny! I could not believe how they got the golf ball sized hail impact dimples and craters removed. Thank you ProCare staff and Stephanie Kershner for the wonderful repair of my car.
This body shop is the worst shop in the city I think generally procare collision is the worstI definitely don’t recommend this body shop it’s just waste of time, you’ll regret if you give them your car to them for repair
Stephanie is awesome! They did such a good job on my vehicle.
My car was taken here after an accident that left a lot of damage to the rear driver side of the car. After about a month they called me to tell me the car would be ready for pick up on a Friday. On Friday morning the shop manager calls me to let me know the car will not go into gear and it may need a new transmission. They sent the car to the dealership to replace transmission and fix any other error code it may have. I don’t understand why this wasn’t done when the car first arrived at the shop and sat there waiting for parts to arrive. After about another month I was finally able to pick up my car. They had disconnected my subwoofer and amp and just threw it back in the trunk after they were done. They did not bother to reconnect and mount my audio system. All my personal belongings from the car were/are missing. I even asked them more than one time if I should remove all my personal belongings from the car and they said they would take care of them. Items missing include sunglasses, perfumes, floor and trunk mats and a baby car seat. They also stained the the rear and driver seat, steering wheel and driver side door panel with a black tar substance. There was also black tar spots all over front passenger door. To top it off the didn’t fix the rear door where most of the damage was. When I pulled the door handle to open that door the handle almost came completely off and there was loud clicking noises coming from it. After two months this is how they returned my 2020 Honda Civic to me. I reached out to them and the manager assured me he would locate my items and get them back to me but I haven’t heard from him since early May. I took the car to another procare collision location hoping they would fix the rest of the issues but after another month they only fixed the rear door handle and black spots on passenger side door. I was extremely disappointed with the what procare collision considers high quality repair and exceptional customer service.
Called twice and left a message. Had to call progressive, my insurance carrier, to find another shop to bring my car to.
Very professional. Excellent communication! My repair was done timely.
Javier Espinoza was very professional, informed, and helped me when I needed to get my car repaired after my car was rear-ended in an accident. They kept in constant contact and updated me on the progress of my car while it was being worked on. Excellent services!
Great customer service, just had my vehicle inspected. For hail damage.
Very poor communication. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend. Every time I’ve called for an update I’ve been fed another excuse as to why it’s delayed. Would not provide a concrete time frame when I can expect my car back .
They did excellent work on my car. It was quick and easy .
Great and friendly staff. Corina is very knowledgeable and efficient!
Excellent service and excellent staff
If you want it done right visit ProCare Collision....Great Customer Service and Professional work.. 10 Star Service !!!!
My aunt used this place per her insurance company preference, took forever...poor communication with her.
Body work on vehicle was ok but they went thru my glove compartment and stole personal property and money off an envelope I had in there, wouldnt recommend to anyone
Was recommended from insurance company to take truck here. Never again had my truck a month when finally got it back it wouldnt start poped hood they put a piece of metal in my battery to keep it in place when I raised hell the BOY says where not replacing anything at that point i was already ticked off called insurance company they replaced battery they left all my lights on to cause the battery to die.
I originally came in for a replacement of my doors since I got hit there. My first experience was well. They set everything up for me and I had a rental for a week and picked up my car. When I picked up my car, the speakers on my whole passenger side (the doors they replaced) did not work and there was a popping sound every time I opened the passenger door. I called immediately when I got the car to schedule to come in a week later since I was going out of town. I see them again for them to check it out, I was here for an hour, they told me they had to order it. So I waited weeks. I called 2 weeks in and ask about it because it was just a speaker they ordered. So they told me its not in and that they would call me as soon as it came in. I let another week go by. Carolina, my rep I suppose, did not call me. So I called her and she has the audacity to tell me she was waiting for me to call her... for what?? As if I knew when the speaker was actually here? So I come in again for an hour and a half. Just for them to tell me they need to order another speaker. I let a week go by again, I come in today and was here for over 2 1/2 hours and going after they told me it was supposed to be a quick 30 minute fix said Carolina. Glad I decided not to come in before work because I knew it was a lie anyways and I would have been late. Ive been coming here a few times over the span of 2 months trying to get my car fixed since they messed it up. Javier worked with me the second month so I guess He took over my case. Carolina barely cared about it I guess since Im basically a lost cause to them since Im not paying for it because it was their mistake. She was barely ever here when I came and hardly dealt with my case after them messing up my speaker and door in the first place. So they sent me home after 2 and a half hours by someone who works there and usually picks up parts.. really unprofessional but I had no other choice because I didnt want to be there all day. He dropped me off and before I actually left the facility, They told me they would call me when the cars ready so that I dont have to go back and forth. I have work tomorrow and the rest of the week and they didnt call me at all before they closed. So now Im stuck carless without them even saying they would keep it overnight. They didnt offer a rental or anything. I was just waiting to see when they would call me, hopefully and assuming same day, but they didnt. After a while I checked to see their hours and they are closed now and I didnt receive not one call. Im highly upset and do not recommend this place. Totally unprofessional.
All I got to say about Procare services, you really do care about your customers I had a great experience with your manager Robert Sanchez, customer service means a lot and Mr. Sanchez has it all, thank you for taking care of my car!
Great place to have your car worked on
The process of getting my car looked at was a smooth transition. GEICO is always professional at what they do.
DO NOT GO TO THESE LOW LIFES!!! They steal stuff out of your car. Also, they great work on body care but messed up on rear sensors and expected is to pay again to have them look at it. DO NOT GO TO THESE LOW LIFES!!!!
Painless process met Geico rep. There in and out
The service was excellent. My car look beautiful.
Geico claims adjuster was prompt and efficient.
So nice! The staff are very helpful and pleasant. They even have a little play area for the kids.
Needed to speak to Geico, diva at front desk wanted all the details of my business before they would call them. Rude!
Very bad experience with this company and terrible body work and didnt bother washing or buffing out the paint bottom inside panel was broken by them too...I have pictures I sent them through Facebook and havent gotten a response yet...
Very nice people
My bumper was never fixed right from the time before. The sides keep popping out. I reported it when I brought it in this time but the information didnt get to the repair guy.
Excellent painting job!
Went for a quote. Well see how it goes.
This company was a preferred company for my insurance. My car was towed to this location and I was told by my insurance company that they would call me once they received all the paperwork. They didn’t call, so I called them the following day. I was told that it was assigned to Sam and that he would call me the next day (because they advertise that they give estimates within 24 hours). They didn’t call. I called again the next week and was sent to a voicemail. I didn’t hear back so I called again. I was then told that that my vehicle was never “assigned” to anyone and they didn’t even know anything about me or my vehicle. At this point they had my vehicle for 10 days and no one bothered to look at it. I finally was able to get in contact with Sam who apologized and said that it was my insurance companies fault that they didn’t know they had possession of my vehicle. I accepted his apology and he assured me that he would look at my vehicle the “moment we got off the phone” and he promised me that he would call me by 5:30 to give me an update. He didn’t call me. I called the next day and was sent to his voicemail. He didn’t call me back. I called the next day and spoke to Javier who told me that Sam looked at the vehicle and send part request to Ford to see if they had them in stock. He told me that he would have Sam call me back that day. He didn’t call. I called the next day and got passed around the phone line and spoke to Liz (Sam’s helper). I was told by Liz that they would be sending my car to a place that could repair electric vehicles. She couldn’t tell me where they would send it to or when they would send, just that they could not repair it.My car has now been at ProCare for almost 3 weeks and I’ve lost valuable time not having a vehicle. They sat with my car there for 2 weeks and did nothing. Their 24 hour quote is a lie. The employees should not make promises to call customers back if they do not intend to call them back. I am in disbelief about their lack of communication and ability to simply pass the blame to someone else.I will be requesting them to reimburse me for my car rental fees for the time that my car has been at their shop.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want a company that stands by their promises. This company is so incredibly unorganized. I am disappointed and will be sure to tell anyone that I can talk to not to use this company for vehicle repairs.
I just grabbed my truck today and it looks good for now. What I dont really like is that they have people there without values. My husband drove my truck without telling me and I had personal things there and they got lost. A gold chain with my initial. I called and they said they were going to check with the person who attended me. that cant be that they have that kind of people working there. .The service is good and the managers are very friendly. Its just the staff that they just shouldnt have there. Too bad for people like this this company has this bad comment
Very professional
