Went to this body shop to repair my Lexus for a front bumper hit when it was parked. Brought it in just for front bumper repairs and the process to get started was pretty straight-forward. The actual repair itself was high quality and professionally installed. The color for the front bumper matched very well with the car body. Took a bit longer due to estimate changes pending from my insurance, but no fault to Collision San Antonio.Only 1 critique that I have is the communication could be much more open and available. I wouldnt want to have to continuously call the individual on the phones to get an update on the car.. So a sense of pro-activeness in communication can go a long way in giving comfort to those waiting on their vehicles.

Took my Lincoln SUV in for rear bumper damage due to a collision which included gouges, scratches, and dents to the plastic bumper area. The work and customer service was top notch. Manuel always answered my calls/texts in a timely manner and was very clear about what work would be done. Finished in the expected time and worked with my schedule to get me my car back. Vehicle looks like new, would definitely come back.

Doubt they will do your car fully.Took it in to replace a Side Panel, Bumper, & a Hood.Dropped the car off. Took 2 weeks to finish only to see that my Front Bumper has not Been changed out. He informed me I would NEED a front bumper change out more than likely since the little chip that was at the end of the bumper would cause chip damage as it went on. Keep in mind that the crack was 3x Larger. They just filled it in. Instead of Replacing like I had paid for. I will Not be taking my car back to be services there due to their lack of Honesty within Their Company . I didnt want to pay the deductible as of yet so, for no charge, he played with the damaged bumper to make it look much better...He did not have to take the time to do any of this, but he did anyway. Manuel took great care of me and my car. He was attentive to all my needs. He even provided a ride to a rental place. He discovered a crack in our bumper and although the insurance company denied coverage he still took care of it. He went beyond and above what he had to do!

My car was damaged by hail back in April 2016 in San Antonio. I happend to run across Collision San Antonio on Facebook and most of the reviews are good. I then searched them here on Google maps and again most were good. I have no regrets. My car looks like new again. I have a 2014 Honda Civic Si in a unique rare color called Orange Fire Pearl They were even able to find a matching paint for it. I could not tell the difference unless you look super close. Hopefully my car doesnt get damaged again but I will definitely go back if it does. They saved me a few extra months waiting for another busy collision center I was gonna go to.

My 2021 Toyota sedan was hit from the rear and had a pretty bad damage. Manuel did a great job fixing it and it looks as new! Due to ongoing pandemic it took a while to get all the parts in (I assume its because the car is brand new and parts arent readily available), but at the end it was worth the wait. Manuel and his crew were top notch! Had extensive hail damage on my car, even more than what my insurance found the first time around. They were able to get the insurance back out quickly to reassess the damage, even finding prior damage that I didnt know was there when I bought the car. Afterwards everything was fixed in a timely and transparent manner. Manuel was easy to get a hold of when I needed him, and he was quick to contact me when he needed me. I recently had to take my car in due to a small accident. There were some initial delays in completing the repair because of circumstances that were beyond their control from suppliers. However, Mr. Chacon and his team did an excellent job once the delays were resolved going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The car looks GREAT and I won’t hesitate to use them again in the future should the need arise.

Took my brand new $2000 Brembo calipers to paint and they destroyed it.They removed the tensioning bolts which I told’em not to and will ruin the spec. The owner Manuel said he will tape-off the area instead. But in reality they removed 4 of the six bolts and ruined the torque specs of the brand new calipers.Also when they opened the hydraulic seals they were supposed to tape it before painting, instead he spayed paint Inside the hydraulic ducts and destroyed the brand new calipers.Paint finish came out poor probably due to not prepping the part properly for painting. One of the logo on the caliper were miss aligned. When I brought back another logo for him to redo the miss aligned issue he simply wanted to charge me more to fix his own mistake.Insult to the injury the owner Manuel lied to me every time I called to ask why it’s being delayed while he was trying to figure out how to hide the damage. It was a nightmare that cost me $2000+ and wasted 3 weeks what was supposed to be a 2 day job. I had to take the calipers to Fine Line Automotive Inc. to fix all the damage. Lesson learned.

I took my 2019 Dually to this shop for hail damage and Manuel was very respectful about everything. I visited another shop before this one and the people there made it seem like they didn’t want to work on my truck or like if I was a burden to them. Manuel didn’t make me feel like that at all. He greeted me with an understanding and helpful attitude and let me know what could be done to fix my truck. I had also just gotten my bumper bumped into lightly which bent it a little bit and Manuel said he could fix it for a great price too. He made everything sound like it was an easy fix (which I know it wasn’t) and that helped a lot with me being overwhelmed about everything that had happened to my truck. It took around 3-4 days to fix my truck (a lot faster than most areas I had heard about from friends with hail damage) and my truck looked perfect! No more hail damage or bent bumper and he even took out some of the dings that we’re visible in my doors too. He even cut the price in half from the original quote he had given me for the bent bumper (hail damage was covered by insurance). I definitely recommend Manuel and his team to anyone looking for work on their vehicles!

Took prius in for front end damage. A week after repairs, some of the paneling was falling off. Took my car in a second time and manuel put it back in place. 2 weeks later that same piece is falling off again. I reached out to mr chacon a week ago to try and get this fixed AGAIN and he has yet to respond. Spend your money somewhere else

Ive taken my wifes Suburban for paint and body work to Collision San Antonio, my Suburban for having the headlights and tail lights blacked out and my Hummer to have the undercarriage painted & coated. I have been thrilled with their work! The owner and staff are friendly, professional and accommodating. The owner even came out to my office to give me an estimate when I did not have time to get to his shop. Ive recommended them to friends, and they have also been very satisfied. I like that they have a high-end, enclosed paint booth and a state-of-the-art paint matching system. Not all paint and body shops in San Antonio are created equally. Let me start with, don’t get confused with which collision San Antonio you’re dropping your car off at, like I did. This is the best and correct Collision of San Antonio that you wanna bring your car to. I drove my 328D BMW all the way from port aransas to get my work done here. Since I dropped my car off at the wrong one at first, this place even went out off their way to go pick it up . My hero’s! especially since I was already back in port aransas (3hours away) when I was made aware of my mistake. They handled it all. Manuel contacted both insurances involved in fixing 2 different claims on my car at once. He also saved me over 600$ for top quality on parts and paint work. These savings kept food on the table during this covid-19 pandemic, would have been impossible otherwise. I will forever be grateful. And I will continue to drive hours to bring my cars and truck here for my lifetime because I will never forget they helped when I needed it the most.

San Antonio Collision Repair did a terrific job on my Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn. My tailgate had multiple dents from towing gooseneck trailers and Manuel and his crew did a marvelous job in repairing the damage. This place isnt in need of yet another 5-star review, but heres one anyway. The passenger-side front fender on my 07 Highlander came loose a few weeks ago and I brought it to a friends body shop. They re-attached it, but it came loose again a few days later. This time, I chose the highest-rated nearby body shop on Google, and it was this one. Their body man re-attached the fender in minutes while I waited - using the correct hardware this time. And, the owner, Manuel Chacon, wouldnt accept a dime. No wonder they get kudos from their customers! Guess where Ill go next time I need body work.

I should of took my vehicle to my dealership recommendetion, but I tried to save a buck with this place, with the price this company told me, but in the end they ended up screwing me.
