This place is fantastic! a definite must stop in San Antonio. The amount of material and wide range of items make this truly a treasure trove. I have never seen such beautiful doors 😻. It is jam-packed with some of the neatest smalls I have seen in a long time. Plenty of bigs too, from wrought iron fences to cast iron tub legs to Giant pulleys both metal and wood. I ended up coming back the next day for a 5 ft tall slab of mesquite.

Very thankful for this place and the work that they do collecting “scrap” “used” and “discarded” treasures. They take something that would have been discarded and give people like me a chance to give it a new home again. I love doing that and love that I can find it all in one place. Their prices are spot on and make collecting fun treasures or using old material possible. One of my favorite places to go.

The guy also has an enormous collection of door and cabinet knobs, hinges, switch plates, metal tins and farm / gardening containers, and all sorts of lamps and glass light shades. Cool shop. If they dont have it, the owner Kirt will help to find it or provide suggestions on where you should to check. The owner is very willing to share his extensive knowledge for any project his customers are undertaking. When I visited the store, numerous customers walked in who were on first name basis with the owner. That says a lot about Kirt runs his business. Top notch man.

Always a large variety of antiques. Very knowledgeable and very friendly owners. Prices are more decent than everywhere else, but most of the time, things are cheap in Prices. I hate going inside, because I can stay for hours. People that are into antiques and little nic nacs should definitely visit this place. They usually open at 10 in the morning.

This store is fabulous for architectural elements and parts. They have a huge selection and always new pieces. We found a vintage double screen door with decorative metal as well as beautiful stained class windows for our project. The owners are super helpful and suggested some other pieces that we bought. My husband and I drove over 2 hours to get to Pickers Paradise. The trip was well worth the drive. Kirt,the owner,was very helpful. I have no idea how he knows what he has and where it is,but he does. Richard went up a ladder and poked through and measured windows for me. He was so patient and friendly. I found 3 perfect windows. My husband,who usually goes to these places just to humor me,found several things that he wanted! We will be back again. Awesome place!We had spent days trying to find replacement bead board ceiling lumber for our 1908 home and purchased several small pieces from the typical lumber stores in the area to test. I simply wasted money because nothing was the exact style/cut. I then found Pickers Paradise and made a call. I talked to Kurt who told me he had thousands of feet of reclaimed bead board and was confident we were going to find what we were looking for.WOW! He wasnt joking when he said he had thousands of feet.Not only did we purchase a bunch of bead board, but also found two antique matching sinks we couldnt live without.We also thought the prices were very fair.Thanks a bunch!

Great resource for vintage and antique building materials. Be prepared to spend some time trawling through the 1000s of items and discovering many fine treasures. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, a great resource for those of us new to restoring old houses 😊 Parking is not ideal, but dont let the lack of parking put you off visiting. Pickers Paradise is AMAZING! I really want to be creative and crafty, but unfortunately my skills dont go too far beyond pinning things on my Pinterest page. My husband and I are about to start renovating a small lake house, and were so lucky to stumble into Pickers Paradise. Kirt and Yvette patiently listened to all of my ideas, and gave me suggestions that will make our lake house more beautiful than I couldve imagined.When it was all said and done, we left with three sets of antique French doors salvaged from a house in the King William district and around 150 feet of crown molding.We will definitely be back soon!
