Had a rug appraised to be given as a gift. Very helpful & rapid service. Rob included a picture of the rug on the appraisal form.His knowledge of oriental rugs is amazing. Highly recommended.

This auction house is classy. I have only attended two auctions but I was really impressed with the quality of the items that were being auctioned. I won the three Victorian-like lamps shown in the pictures below for $40 ... $40 for all three! They are so beautiful! I also won the oval lyre table ... hope I can locate a matching one for a reasonable price.UPDATE: Made a return visit. This time I won a French night stand for $35 and a dark cabinet with an elk on the front for $50. Not sure if I got a great deal on the elk cabinet but I like it.

Excellent family owned business. I have had many many enjoyable and entertaining hours attending Vogt auctions; and I have had winning bids on some extremely unique items that in all probability couldn’t have found elsewhere. The staff is friendly and attentive to the customers, and quick to address any concerns that may arise in the course of doing business. Rob Vogt is especially customer friendly and I look forward with keen anticipation to the next exciting auction to find more unique items.

Great fun and great Finds

Nice people to deal with beware of outside shipping costs. Way too high in price. Seems auction house shippers are teally ripping us off.Charged me $90.00 to ship a 14x18”painting one state over. I could have sent it to China for that price. I have decided to deal with auction houses that do theirown shipping at buyers cost. Tire of being rupped off for 50-100 bucks for shipping every time.

Rather you are buying something for yourself or for your business this is the auction to attend. I have an antique business and I buy all my items here. Tried going to other auctions near by but Vogt is the standard for others to follow. Its fun, entertaining and a history lesson all at the same time. I highly recommend Vogt.

My wife and I have been going to Voigt’s since the early 90’s. We are usually buyers but on occasion we have been sellers too. You will never meet a nicer or more helpful group of folks than those at this auction house. And since they have moved into their new location... comfortable chairs, air conditioned, plenty of parking, nice atmosphere, - the list goes on.

Most of these Castle Hills homes have over 5 acres on which they custom built.Now one of the most popular areas to live.Home builders are very interested in securing these older homes to improve and enhance existing home structures. The simple reason is the land . In Texas anything over 7.5 acres is considered ag exempt. No city taxes. Many exclusive businesses thrive here such as great restaurants, unique antiques and much more.So take the Castle Hills exit off 410W and enjoy the new and old alike. Much History of San Antonio is housed in the Castle Hills Visitors Bureau. Location is excellent to the Riverwalk, Downtown Amenities and all of Castle Hills. Please drive careful, as you see many deer, which are prized by the locals. Have a wonderful trip to this steeply bedroom community!!

This place is so much fun. Even if you dont bid, its fun to watch others do it. And they have so many high-interest items that you can get cheaper than retail. Everybody is friendly, and you get free popcorn and nachos during the auction.

Horrible customer service. Went there to get an estmated value on glassware from a military move. Waited a while before someone approached. Someone finally assisted, then while talking to me he answered the phone. Another customer approached talking to him, he then left me standing there. When he returned, he was on another phone call on his cell. He went to his office as i stood there still waiting. I packed my dishes and left.

I bet an item online, auction Vogt never mention that item has some problems, I paid $800.00 item has some big problems but because I didn’t visually saw, and auction never mentioned either, so I lost a lot, never buy any item from this Vogtauction online again.
