Nice store...great variety and choices of items for the area. Very nice big lot. Nice they offer a plan to purchase furniture. Trish is great super kind & helpful with all your furniture purchase. They also have a delivery vendor that will deliver your furniture at a reasonable price. The service is excellent & professional & price reasonable.

When Big Lots as a brand first opened I shopped there quite a lot, but as time has gone by I really dont see the need any more. The quality matches the prices which is definitely part of my decision making.

This is an average big lots location. It could probably use a remodel honestly like some of the rest. I was disappointed to see that they were out of all outdoor lighted lawn Christmas decorations. They had a really good selection to choose from for holiday gift baskets and candles as well as indoor Christmas decorations. Big lots has stepped up their game in the last 3 years.

Visiting the area..went into Big Lots, always can find something good. Couldnt make my mind up about bathroom sets so I didnt get it but the kiddos got some junk

Aisles are too narrow for shopping carts. Store is too tight to put 2 buggies in one aisle. Employee was slow in checking out. They need more motivated employees!!!!!!

Hubby and I were looking for a new comforter set. Well while they did have some they didnt have the one that I wanted and it wasnt available for ordering offline either. However, we find plenty of other deals like can goods, snacks and a utility light for my husbands car.

Big lots use to be cheap...now its more expensive than Walmart.. it would be a much easier shopping experience if everything had price tags..

I really like Big Lots, the company along with the stores. This one in perticular seems to never get stock on a regular basis though and the isles are cramped it feels like. In the defense of the staff (whom are all really helpful and nice) they dont really have control over that issue. The store is cleaner then average though. A pleasant shopping experience for me here, but dont expect a Ritz Carlton experience here.

We have been searching for a certain couch for about 2 weeks at the surrounding Big lots and definitely had some of the worse customer services. We called this big lots in Salisbury and finally they had it in. They were able to hold it for us until we got there. We had amazing service from Darreon (sorry if I spelled it wrong) in the furniture department. Very pleasant and willing to help. We ended up leaving out with not only the couch but also the ottoman and table set. Thank you again Darreon for everything!!!

They have great merchandise though always only one check-out. Ridiculous & frustrating.

Wanted to purchase a recliner. Had checked at the Concord store but they didnt have one in stock. Came to the Salisbury store and an associate by the name of Darion was so very helpful.. He came up to me,offered to help. I told him the specific chair I was looking for which was not on the floor. He found one in the back, held it for me until I could go home and get the truck. We shortly returned and he promptly help us load it on the truck. Wonderful experience thanks to Darion. And thanks for the military discount.

Slightly higher than similar stores, but occasionally find unusual items

We spent over $700 last week between a pool and Gazebo both of which we put up. Pool ($399) had a hole in it which was tiny and we could not see it until the pool was filled. Now I know that is not Big Lots fault completely but for something so large it baffled me that their only resolution I drain 6,000 gallons of water and bring it back for replacement. Then we put the Gazebo up it was Broyhill ($400) and it snapped right in the middle support beam we had 4 people at each post instructions only say 3 people needed. Either way we fixed it ourselves because there was no way I was taking either large item back since we had done so much work I went and bought my own metal brackets and reinforced them and went to a local pool supply store to patch the pool. No big deal but I had to spend more money time, and effort and lose 6k gallons of water in the process to make these items work disappointed in the return policy on bigger items that are not easily transported we also would of had to rent a truck again just to bring back and exchange. I will not be spending anymore money on big items at Big Lots which sucks because we just bought a house and are furnishing it.

Good place to get stuff fast on long lines

I called the store in August 2018 and asked about the sales they were having. The lady went to check the prices for summer clearances and informed me of 50% off items on patio chairs and accessories with prices she took the time to stop and look at. I am impressed with her detail and courteous responses. I am giving them 5 stars.

Not the store they used to be. When they first came into existence, I was able to find almost anything. Now theyre selling mostly furniture.

Big Lots is expensive it seems like its one of those stores that usually never ever has what I need

I had been looking for a mattress and box spring set for a couple of weeks. At other places what they had that were reasonably priced were junk and off brand products. I went to Big Lots and I bought a very well known brand name mattress and box spring set and it was only $15 more then the junk that everyone else had. Big Lots was having a Labor Day sale and I got one hell of a deal. Im supposed to pick it up today because I thought that their delivery price was high, $65. I havent slept on it yet but it was so comfortable in the store, cant wait to try it for the whole night. Big Lots is definitely worth checking out.

Big Lots has had a modern face lift. This store has been updated but they got rid of a lot of items, such as lawn and garden! I think they were trying to go for a hobby lobby feel and I really hope thats not the case. Bring back lawn and garden!!!

You going to get more for your money because the lots are bigger but the prices are small. Keep shopping at this store every time I can get a pair of blue jeans for $9. A nice shirt to wear out for $10. Ill be shopping there for a while

After the remodel the place is amazing and well organized but the prices reflect on the new remodel definitely.

I like this location in Salisbury North Carolina. This will not be a very large store oh, but you will find most of the same things in the larger stores. Being a small store, however, things tend to be a little cluttered, and are hard to get around with a shopping cart or wheelchair.

I havent been back to Big Lots in a year or two. I have walking issues and have to use a walker for about all stores if they dont have electric carts for us. Then I have troubles with my back. I know you can save money on things that things you can buy. Some times name brand items. One day I may go back.

We redid our Christmas tree got all our stuff in there quick easy and I had a lot to choose from.

They usually have good prices, but not a very larger selection of goods

I have about stopped shopping there. Same ol over priced stuff. Same price or higher than Wal Mart but cheaper quality. And their furniture is junk to. I bought 2 Ashley sofas both lasted less than 2 years before the cheap vinyl started peeling in sheets as big as your hand.

No complaints. Theyre remodeling and looking nicer each day.
