Got a new to us car in just a few hours. Kevin was great and went out of his way to make sure we were getting the vehicle we wanted for the best price and we were getting the most for our trade in. With 3 kids, 2 of them teenage boys, it was time to upgrade from our Hyundai santa fe. We got a great deal on a Chevy Traverse with captains chairs and a 3rd row two adults could fit comfortably in. Fully loaded as well. Overall we are very happy and had a positive experience with the Car Store.

Meh, they ask wayyy to much for the stuff on their lot, as if I can’t look up what the car is actually worth online. Small town, small dealership with not a lot of competition. Luxury purchases should be made across the bridge.

Tried to sell me an SUV that was all rusted out underneath. I acted like I didn’t notice to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the sales person helping me said it was in mint condition with no problems. I wouldn’t waste my time with liars and cheats.

Bought the car of my dreams (a 2014 Mustang GT convertible) there on 8/21/19. Since then, Ive changed the wheels on the car, but that was just for cosmetic purposes. The purchase experience in Salisbury was painless, even pleasant. K.J. Johnson was my salesperson, and he was extremely personable, knowledgeable, kindly, and professional. There was some mild haggling over the price, but we settled quickly, and I drove out of the lot with my dream car --- at what I feel was a very fair price. I would not hesitate to use The Car Store in Salisbury and Mr. Johnson again if Im ever in the market for another used car. From my observations, it appears as if The Car Store only stocks very clean, dependable, desirable vehicles.

The sales team was incredile! My issues falls into service of the vehicle i puchased i has a factory warranty issue for my vw jetta. Upon inspection the oil change done by car store was improper. My oil filter and the plug were leaking. Management stating its really not a big deal. No offer for reimbursement and just tough luck!

I had an exceptional experience with the car store! Great service. I am currently in the military and I am stationed about 23 hours away from Salisbury Maryland and they were able to get everything squared away and ship my car to my location in less than a month so it can be done! My sales person was Kevin Estes and he did an amazing job with helping me get everything squared away being that I live so far away. They’re definitely trustworthy and the car is like brand new, especially to be used! 10/10 recommend buying from this dealership.

Mr. Kenny is the best. He tells you everything that you need to know about the car that you are getting.Follow up. Car store is nothing but liars. I had this car only a 1 1/2. They said i had insurance and everything that protects this car. If something happens. Well last thursday a rod went through the moter. Idknow how but it did. Lets just say Mr. Kenny and car store left me high and dry with 12000 left on the car. Nobody wouldnt take me bc my loan was so high. But preston in Hurlock took good care of me. NEVER WILL SHOP A CAR STORE EVER AGAIN. I work hard for what i have.

So I bought TWO vehicles frombthis place. Buying experience was good, however they sell JUNK vehicles!!! Buy grim auctions, not correctly MD inspected!! I would give this place ZERO stars if I could!First vehicle was in the shop SEVEN times in the first six months! I had the extended warranty and NOTHING was ever covered! Normal wear and tear and lots of diagnostic check fees!! NOT TO MENTION in-between time I went back and bought A BMW. THREE months I drove this vehicle not much causei have two other cars.Im going through an intersection 2013 BMW cuts out have it towed to the SERVICE SHOP who tells me they cant diagnose or do work on this vehicle cause they dont have the tools to work on it! Selling vehicles that they cant even work on. So after having it towed (at my expenses) to two different places they find out its the plastic guide that holds the timing chain that broke. SO chain covered on warranty BUT they say the plastic guides are not so it will be $5,000 out of my pocket and they WOULD NOT HELP ME IN ANY WAY!!!! THE WORST SITUATION EVER!!!! I would not send my enemy to these ppl!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS!!!!

I had an excellent experience buying a car from The Car Store in Salisbury. I can’t speak to the long term quality of the car or service but the initial buying process was less painful than I had expected. Kevin Estes was a pleasure to work with and everyone else I met was pleasant, friendly, and professional as well. I think I got an excellent deal on my vehicle and they were willing and able to work with me on the financing. I had my eye on a different car at another dealer initially and I went to look at it and spoke with them before coming here and the difference between the two experiences were night and day. Kevin made the experience way less unpleasant than I had expected it to be as a woman, going in to do business with car salesmen alone. I didn’t feel like anybody was trying to “pull one over on me” and they seemed to have my best interests in mind with extra tidbits of advice and info to help. I’ll highly recommend them to everyone going forward.

Everything went smoothly. Wasnt there more than 2 hours. I found the truck on there easy to navigate website. Made an offer on the website, then within an hour I got a phone call from them.They gave me a more than fair price for my trade, and I think a fair price for the truck I bought. My visit to the car store was 3/27/18. It was the worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life. John Parker was my sales rep. He seemed like a really nice guy on the test drive. Afterward, I was approved for the car & he told my brother and I that we could spend some time viewing the specs in the vehicle while he did the paperwork if we wanted. We spent all of (maybe) 10 minutes in the car before discovering that the radio is broken and the sun glass box case above the dashboard literally falls in your lap if you open it (making it nothing more than a prop). At this point, John came & knocked on the window to let me know the paperwork was ready & it was time for me to set up my insurance & go into the finance office. I pointed out the flaws I noticed in the vehicle & his nonchalant response to both issues was oh, I can get that fixed for you. As we got out of the car he also pointed out that the rear seat headrests in the vehicle were missing. Please note that HE brought up the head rest issue. I was completely unaware of it, as Im sure most people would be because youd expect a vehicle to have basic safety equipment if youre going to drop 12 grand right? Not the point. John went to confer with his manager Dave. He came back & said, Well, I can fix the sun glass holder, but you fix the radio (first inconsistency). I pointed out that when we were in the car & googled the issue it seemed to be a recurring problem with that vehicle & I didnt want to keep replacing radios. At this point his demeanor changed & he and Dave began to act as if I was causing problems by wanting to be aware of the true condition of the vehicle. I let John know that the only person I wanted to deal with after that point was his manager, to which he smirked and tossed my paperwork on the desk in front of me. I suppose they thought that a young female would nod and smile & let them rob me without asking any questions? John spent the remainder of the evening hiding at his managers desk and making remarks under his breath. It almost seemed like we came to an agreement when the manager (Dave) said that if I bought the car, I could come back in the morning to have it looked at. I asked him to put it in writing on the You Owe, We Owe form that I would sign at the end of the paperwork. All I asked was that they fix the sun glass holder, take a look at (NOT pay for or fix) the radio, and to honor their word about the headrests (which again I did not initiate or ask for, John volunteered himself for the task). Dave said that I was making things difficult by asking for them to put it in writing, which I take to mean they never had any intention of doing anything they said they were going to do. I find it humorous that Dave even had the balls to make a comment to the effect of, Once you drive off the lot, that cars problems are between you and the bank. I walked out. Nice try guys :)

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!Where do I start? My husband drove 2 hours to purchase a car they had on their lot for over 2 months due to the fact no one purchases vehicles of that caliber from this dealer, mainly due to its location. He was unable to purchase the car due to a security block on his credit report, so we left and returned in one week once the block was lifted. The finance department as well as the salesman were fully aware of the reason and yet they STILL ran my husbands credit not once but three additional times in a seven day period! And not once did anyone contact him with the status of the report, they just kept running his credit. Once the block was cleared, we took the trip to Salisbury for a second time ready to purchase the vehicle. Before we left, finance told my husband he needed a down payment of 8,000 which wasnt an issue. Once we got there, he was told he needed 10,000! This wasnt an issue either but it should have been expressed to us prior to us making the 2 hour drive. My husband paid the remaining 2,000 that week without an issue and at that point everything was ok. Lets move forward four weeks, he tried to get permanent tags for his car but the inspection sticker had expired 2 days before he purchased it. The dealership sold him a car that had an expired inspection sticker! He immediately spoke with the owner and told him he will not drive back to salisbury and this needed to be fixed the next day because he would be out of town and the temporary tags will expire before he returns. The owner agreed and sent someone to take the car to get inspected near our residence and return it along with the sticker so he can get the hard tags that day. Not only were they late picking it up, the agreement was to take it to a MD state inspection location near our home. They took it back to Salisbury! Not only did I wait ALL day for his return, we were unable to get the tags that day because they didnt drop the car off until 7:00 pm, they had it from 8:30 am-7:00 pm, totally unacceptable! Lastly, they were trying to charge my husband twice for the tags and title. We handled everything on our end and expected the same in return. We will never purchase another thing from them nor will we recommend them to anyone! We should have went straight to Mercedes Benz to purchase, I am sure we would have received a higher level of customer service. Please take my advice and stay away from this dealership. If I could give them less than one star I most certainly would!

Sedrick Armstrong is a great salesman. The management and the after experience is very poor. No one keeps their word and when issues are brought to managers attention, I experienced rudeness, being cut off when explaining my concerns and unprofessional attitudes by Rob and Matt.I strongly suggest that managers take customer service training. My husband and I went in today to buy a mini-van I had seen on the website on the under $10,000 tab. We were helped by Cedric. He was great, had my husband test drive the van while I sat w/ the kids. And Cedric even gave the kids a balloon :) Well Cedric did tell us there was good and bad news. The bad news was that my husbands credit score was lower than we had thought, so we would have to pay more :( But, between trading in our old van and putting money down today and bringing the rest of the down payment next time, we could take our new vehicle home. He helped in every way he could and he was phenomenal, it was just on our part was the only downer. But through it all, I still rate our experience a 5. We were able to still walk away w/ the vehicle I feel in love w/ when I found it online :) My husband also loves it, and so do the kids.

My wife and I went to look for a nice used car in Salisbury. We saw a place on rt13 south and decided to pull in. I saw a Buick I was interested in and approached a salesman. Wow was that a mistake. The Sales guy, Tim Hall, was so high he could barely keep his eyes open. He smelled so bad of marijuana that my wife left me and went back to a the car. They really should drug test their employees, unless they dont care. Its ashame because I really liked that car.

Unprofessional, when MIKE the sale person laughs at you for asking questions and trying to come to agreement on down payments and payment options...... In todays economy hardworking people do not have the best credit at times and have red marks that may need to be cleared. However I do not think it is acceptable for a sales person to laugh at a customer and any questions that they present to them about billing and vehicles! I rather deal with a company that is has sales people with people skills.............. I hate to see anyone fall but this company needs to reconsider their sales people and training them to be outstanding customer service providers! I will not under any circumstances refer this company to anyone I know! I will make it known in my local community not to deal with this company, because of the poor customer service reps!

This place was a huge waist of time as I called about a particular vehicle and clearly stated I had a trade in and even made them aware as to what other dealers were offering me for the car, I did the online credit pre approval form with a quick approval I also stated I had some cash to put down. Everything seemed to be going as expected until I made an appt. in the morning to get my car appraised, after showing up there the salesman didnt even recall talking to me even though I said I had an appt. with you just talked to you yesterday. after refreshing his memory nobody was there to look at my car so that wasnt set up right. furthermore, I asked to see the truck and jeep suv as I was trading in one vehicle for two, he stated after research that its not in inventory anymore it sold a week ago. ok so you wasted my time wanting me to come in to do your lazy ass sales approach. at this point I was heading out the door and he stopped me asking if I wanted to see a newer vehicle at that point I laughed it off and left. see all they want to do is get you in there even if its LYING to you, very DISSAPOINTED. do not waist your time if you value it.,.

Ive never posted anything like this before, but my experience was/is horrible. I think that we forget that they are Used car salesmen, looking to make a sale, and they want you to buy. St.Clair was the salesman that talked me into buying a car that cut off three times within the first hour of me having the car. Ive gone back to them time and time again to get the matter fixed and each time Ive gotten a different reason as to why the car stalls on the highway. Imagine driving on the highway at 65mph and your car cuts off endangering your life and the life of others on the road and the place where you bought the car wont listen to what you have to say and comes up with their own reasons, eventually coming to the conclusion that what i said on the first day was actually the problem. Im sure theyre all really nice people there, just trying to make a living, but when confronted about the conditions of the cars they sale, they become very rude and impractical. No one wants to admit to selling a bad product, but putting someones life in danger should take precedent over a check for a sale.

Rob Brown the proclaimed General Manager/VP of the Car Store was rude and impossible to deal with. There was repeated issues with a vehicle purchased there. A vehicle warranty was also purchased. Rob Brown was insulting and unprofessional. I stongly do not recommend doing business with this dealership; you may very much regret it after the purchase.

I bought a 2012 Dodge Caravan from the car store on 01/24/14. I immediately had an issue with the engine but was told it would be fixed by the service department. I drove the vehicle back to service department and they said the vehicle was under factory warranty and take it to the dealer. I was told by my salesman Taron that he would do whatever was needed to help me get the vehicle repaired and even told me i would receive a loaner vehicle until my vehicle was repaired. Several months later and 20 phone calls to the car store, the vehicle is still not repaired and the manager Mike told me that the car store does not provide loaner vehicles and my vehicle is under factory warranty and it is not the car stores problem. The car store sold me a vehicle that had a known engine problem and told me they would help me get it repaired.Watch out for these people all they sell are fleet, rental auction vehicles and do not stand behind what they sell. Also had to make several long trips back to Salisbury due to the salesman not obtaining the correct paperwork and not mentioning to me that I was required to get the Vehicle VIN checked at the DMV. Do not buy from these liars they will do whatever it takes to get your money then forget about you when there is an issue. Do your self a favor and Google the reviews and stay away.
