This is sort of hysterical in a bad way.I was told that a 2004 Rav-4 with about 50k miles had such low miles that I couldnt be allowed a test drive. Which, lets be honest, is code for we dont want to sell you this car.Might be a nice dealership for some but after that kind of barefaced lie Im not going back.
KIA Sales Consultant, Sydney Chandler, was knowledgeable, flexible, and honest professional!I am a first-time new KIA customer because my wife needs a large SUV for our grandchildren and her volunteer bird rescue work. Car review stated KIA Telluride was one of the top larger size SUVs on the market with seven-passenger seating and fold-down chairs for larger cargo space. I did my internet research and found that Safford Kia in Salisbury, MD has the lowest markup than any KIA car dealer in my area. So, I proceeded to visit Safford KIA and met with a Safford Sales Consultant, Sydney Chandler.She was the most professional car sales consultant I met. She was knowledgeable and educated me about the various trims and packages for the Telluride. She was flexible, even though there was no exact trim available to show me; she went beyond the call of duty to request one of the customers permission to show her Telluride, which was in service that day. She was honest and provided me with the exact MRSP, package, and markup prices up front, no sales pressuring at all! We ordered our 2022 Telluride with the exact specifications we needed; Sydney informed us of the delivery date throughout the waiting process. When the car arrived, Bobbie, the sales manager, and Tara, the Finance manager, processed our pre-approved loan most efficiently.My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our car buying experience at the KIA Safford Dealership with Sydney Chandler. We are looking forward to our KIA ownership and service at KIA Safford in the future.

So I purchased my car in NC. The kia dealership in NC repaired a service that was warranty covered. Ive since moved and determined that another service was needed. I took my car in on July 2nd. At that time, I received a text message from a service advisor stating should I need anything, he was the one to contact. 2 weeks pass, and I was told my car still hasnt been diagnosed. 3 weeks pass. On a Thursday and a relative stops by dealership to inquire about my car, was told car still hasnt been diagnosed. Monday morning, August 3rd, I decided to call and was told the vehicle had been ready. All this was said to say, the communication is definitely an area needed for improvement.

I purchased a 2022 Telluride a few days ago. I shopped around several other dealerships that same day and had what I would consider unfortunately stereotypical experiences. But not at Safford Kia.Firstly, the Telluride sold itself, but secondly I worked with Taylor Pruitt and never once felt pressured into purchasing. I’d recommend both this dealership and also working with Taylor. Of course they are there to make sales, but they could have fooled me. Very friendly and helpful staff. That’s how it’s done.
Ultimately Safford couldn’t resolve my tire issue but Joyce was awesome! So friendly and helpful, I appreciated that she was trying so hard to get it to work.
Sergio was extremely friendly, down to earth, and easy to work with. I have never purchased a new car before so I was anxious about it and he made the whole process very easy. He made me very comfortable and made my first time buying a car a pleasant experience!
The oil change was done to my satisfaction! Disconnect between what the cost of it was when calling in prior to when I was about to pay. Had fun test driving a standard Miata that was on the lot. So sad over 90% of American’s can’t drive stick!

Excellent customer service, and the waiting room was the best one Ive ever been in. There were snack and drink machines, plus free snacks, free water, and free coffee. All kinds of plugs connected to a battery if your cellphone needed charging, and a laptop available for you to use. Also, a car wash and vacuum was included with the service. The service adviser, Brad, went over everything that they did and found. I will definitely keep going there to service my new Telluride.
All the staff I encountered were very kind, not pushy, not overwhelmingly eager, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Sergio was a great salesman; I have purchased cars from many dealers over the years and he was one of the best.
I was extremely disappointed and will not buy from them. We worked out a verbal deal and I needed to run home to get the title to the vehicle I was trading. On my way back I received a call saying they could not do the deal. The manager was not calculating the numbers correctly and said they could not do the deal, they made a mistake and wanted to know if I was interested in making a new deal. That would be NO, we worked out a deal already. Obviously, there is a huge problem when the manager of the sales team cannot calculate the numbers correctly. What if the deal had gone through, would they have called me later saying I owed them money? I certainly do not trust them, should you?

The staff were friendly enough, however I was charged almost 600 the first week I took my car in for service though I was told 450 worst case scenario and only 1 of my 3 issues were fixed. I had it towed in the following week and they said it was my starter and it would cost just under 900 for parts and labor. So I looked up common starting issues with KIA vehicles from 2010- current and found out it probably wasnt the starter. So I paid another 156 for labor to get my keys back, even though the car still wasnt running. Looked up a video on YouTube on how to start a car with a faulty starter relay and sure enough it started. A starter costs around 100-200 at the most so being charged almost 900 when I already paid close to 600 the first time around is ridiculous. Turns out my starter relay was the only issue at it cost me a whole 21 bucks. Now I understand why people warned me to never take my car to a dealership. Lesson learned. 👍

I went to Sanford Kia after visiting several dealerships and was very pleased with how little time it took me to buy a car. I did not get all of the run around that I got at the other dealerships that I visited. The price of the car was great and it was delivered to my home which made all that much better. The sales person was understanding of my needs and what I wanted in a car.

Less then 2 years ago I purchased a brand new Kia forte with bumper to bumper warranty, I only had this mind you brand new never owned kia for two months and I had to bring it in to be serviced coz the check engine light came on and they fixed it great no problem and than about 6 months into having it again something was wrong with it again so they took it back and fixed it but the third time I took it in with a problem they said they fixed it but I got it half way home and the light was back on so I took it back they had my car at this point 2 weeks while Im having to find rides to work So they finally call and say its fixed I come to get it and I dont even get out the parking lot and the light is back on so they keep it another week to tell me I have to pay $1500 for them to take my engine apart to see if its my fault and if its not then Kia will pay for it I buy a brand new car from safford with a extended bumper to bumper warranty and your now saying I have to pay to fix it no I personally dont think they fixed it in the first place coz the computer has said its been the same thing from the beginning and if they changed that part it wouldnt say that anymore I thought buying a brand new car from them I wouldnt have to worry about issues for a long time coz I always bought used cars and always had problems so I buy a brand new car and have more problems with that car then any used car I bought you would think safford kia would stand behind there brand new cars and to think I was about to trade my car in there and buy a newer one but no thanks Ill go to holly kia
I’ve been too many Kia dealers looking for a Telluride the last 3 months but Safford was the best. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Drama free...decent prices... friendly staff.
Not exactly thrilled with the dealership marking the Tellurides $5k above MSRP. Also their trade in offers are not fair. When I went to trade in my car they made an offer to me telling me that my car was not worth as much as blue book suggested even though it had 8,000 miles on it and was in pristine condition then they turn around and list it for sale for $8,000 more than they gave me. So for anyone looking at the white 2019 Volvo XC90 they only paid $37,000 for it so keep that in mind when you see the list price at $45,000. Then they made a mistake on the paperwork for my trade and hounded me all when when they know I work during the week and I was already coming in on Saturday because of tire air pressure issues. I love my new car just not happy with their practices.

I bought my 2016 Kio Rio when I lived in Virginia Beach. I was totally happy with the buying process and the Service I received for my oil changes and tire rotations. Free by the way for the life of my car. My car was vacuumed inside, windows cleaned inside and out. Fluids checked and topped off. I moved to Salisbury MD 2 months ago. I was contemplating trading in for a 2020 Rio. I was very disappointed.. I had an appointment last Saturday for the oil change at 2.30. Went in at 1:00 and told the Sales Manager I wanted to see about trading in my 2016, gave him my payoff $8600, miles 40,000 and wanted my payment around or lower than my existing $226. Was told it was totally due able. 2 hours later, test drive I was told the best they could do was $276.00 - $310.00??? Also I was not able have my 2:30 oil changed completed, even though I kept asking and was reassured it would be honored... I rescheduled My oil change today again at 2:30. No vacuum, cleaned windows, or fluid checks. Needless to say will not return and would DEFINITELY NOT EVER recommend to purchase or service !!!

Robby was beyond professional and friendly and kept me in the loop during the whole process before we drove down (necessary being that we were driving from a good ways away) and Sergio was very professional and friendly as well. Sergio and Jason helped us get a great deal on a Kia Telluride. They were true to their word in helping us get the car in our preferred range.
I was promised a time for my car to looked at, didnt receive a call back for 36 hours. Then they asked to charge me additional money to try and diagnose the problem on top of the $130 they already charged me. They said its an hour job for the diagnosis, again didnt hear from them until I called 36 hours later. They said again they wanted to charge me $850-$1200 to try and fix the problem, but asked me if I want to trade it in for a new. Its clear to me the service department is NOT interested in repairing you car they just want to do maintenance on existing cars and sell you a new one when your old one becomes to difficult to repair. I took my car somewhere else and they fixed the entire problem for $217 and the did it in less then 24 hours.

My experience at the KIA, dealership in Saulsberry Maryland was the best time that I’ve ever spent at a dealership waiting to be approved. Everything was done in an orderly manner and above board with honesty which to me was very unusual, all the paperwork everything was done and couldn’t been any better of an experience, both Bunk and Donna did an outstanding job and delivering the truck that was so unexpected at the level that they did. It wasn’t a short stay but it was a pleasant stay and I enjoyed my time and waiting. If you want someone that’s honest and will give you a great deal, Then Bunk is the one to see. Friendly people friendly atmosphere and great a deal.
Had the worst experience with Safford Kia today. Went in to look at a car I saw at Preston in Millsboro, found the same sales guy who works with my parents...he was great. Sergio S is a great sales guy. The manager who works out the numbers was so rude during the whole negotiation portion. Taking my money else where.

Shuttle service is awesome when I have to drop my car off in the morning and get to work. Chris in service is very knowledgeable and patient. Parts department has helped me a few times and the customer service was remarkable. The waiting area is comfortable and welcoming. I hate having car problems, but the staff in service and parts make it a tad more tolerable. :)
We love Safford Kia and their service dept. The personnel is always very accommodating and very friendly. When there was a time we had to leave the car, the service dept took us to the Mall and when we were finished, we called and they came back to pick us up n bring us back to the dealership. Once again thank you for reaching out and thank you for cleaning my vehicle !CHECK YOUR VEHICLE !I bought a 2016 Honda from this location and although my sales person was amazing, the result of my vehicle a month after purchasing was disgusting.My vehicle has a very nasty smell to it such as cat or dog pee, I brought it back to Safford Kia of Salisbury after I had attempted to clean out the stench with multiple products such as microband, carpet cleaner machine and a scrubber for carpets. the smell is still there.Safford Kia of Salisbury admitted to me that they DO NOT DETAIL THEIR CARS UNLESS A NOTICEABLE STAIN!!!! and after asking if they can detail a very expensive vehicle they told me all they could do was give me OZIUM. a deodorizing spray.I will not be purchasing another vehicle from them and I definitely do not recommend if this is how they take care of their problems.

While on vacation, I decided to take my Kia Sedona in for service to a dealership that I knew nothing about nor knew anyone on the team - Kia Salisbury. I’m glad that I did. What a great experience! The waiting room was clean, with free refreshments and Chris North, my Service Advisor, kept me apprised every step of the way.Since I called at the last minute (the day before a holiday), my appointment was late in the afternoon on a Friday. Yet, the service I received was excellent and accommodating.Lastly, special kudos to the gentleman who detailed my vehicle so late in the day. I definitely could tell by his sweat and the superb job of detailed cleaning inside and out that he did a terrifically professional job of handling my Kia.Again, thanks to all at Kia Salisbury. I now have another service center that I can depend on when I’m in town.
Father in law works for Safford. At first it was a little rocky. Then after a few days they checked in with us. Gave them our concerns and confusion and why we weren’t super happy. But then fixed it and explained it. Little mess ups on both our parts. But it was handled and we are happy.
I was very satisfied with my experience at the service center. Matt was very helpful. I very much appreciated how he gave me an idea of the cost for the service in advance as well as timing. I will definitely consider using this service center again for my future business.

Just recently had a motor replaced there because of a recall. They were fast, efficient and very accommodating. Very little time has passed and there are complications with the car and I found where their mechanics didnt put something back correctly. When I pointed that out to them what their mistake was, the service manager kept saying he couldnt see the issue. After a good 10 mins of me pointing out the same thing he finally saw it and had the guys fix it. They are now saying the problem I brought the car in for is not their fault and is not covered under the new 100,000 mile warranty on the motor so they want to charge me for the repairs not to mention they are 200 to 300 higher than every place I have called including another dealership. Now they have threatened to void my maintenance warranty if I get the remaining work done somewhere else. The sales rep in the repair shop explained to me the higher price for the fix was because they had a higher overhead for employee labor because they have so many master techs. If there are so many master techs why did I have to point out a flaw in their work, and I am not a master tech?? We were told as customers that the Sherwood advantage lifetime oil changes would stay in effect as long as we got all engine maintenance work done there. I have always gotten all my maintenance done there for the 5 years on my KIA and the 3+ years on my other car I bought from there. I was told the radiator has nothing to do with my motor and the new warranty. So why are the voiding my warranty if this has nothing to do with it? I am done with them and I would consider others to shop around before getting work done there, they are price gouging their customers!
Pushed higher prices than fair market value. I checked the value for the car I was interested in on consumer reports and realized they had way overpriced the car. They also tried to say a used car was new when it had 20 plus miles on it already. I liked the car, but I dont want to be taken avantaged of.
The service department went above and beyond what I expected. They came to my place of employment and picked up my car and when the work was completed they returned my car to me. That is what I call exceptional customer service!
Amazed at the level of service I received!! The service manager, Shawn, personally drove me (in his car, nonetheless) to a Hertz rental car location so that I could drive to work on time!! Incredible....highly recommend!
The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to get a truck that I was interested in looking at and test driving to their lot from another one of their locations in northern Virginia. I would recommend getting a vehicle there.

I made an appointment to have my new Sportage winterized. Arrived on time. The people were courteous and professional. The service took 25 minutes, including tire rotation and oil change. The cost was minimal.
Chris is wonderful! He always takes the best care of us. The only issue I have is they never have coupons. I had a relatively expensive service done $476.79 and when I asked I was told again there arent any coupons. There havent been any that I have seen since the new ownership. There may be some out there and I just come at bad times! The service is great but Sherwood always had great coupons!
I walked in and immediately Cody was right there to help me! He listened to everything I wanted and even though you could tell he was new...he did not hesitate nor skip a beat to get help where needed to cater to me! I def felt valued and will be back!! So glad I came in and I left with something I NEVER expected which means they knew theyre vehicles AND were able to listen! Thank you guys and Cody so much for all of your help...the process was long but very well worth it!

Chris and Shawn were very kind. Went for a oil change.Told us what was wrong with the car just a nail in the tire. I asked him about why my phone didnt work. Shawn worked on it and it is because it requires and iPhone which I dont have. This is the craziest thing Ive ever heard. So now my phone is not hands free. I wish they would have told me this before we bought the car. I have been sick for a while now and I have just had breast cancer surgery and now doing treatments. So extra money is not in our life now. But the service and the guys were very good.
Your service team is off the hook. Ive been have a problem with my vehicle since January of this year. I kinda sorta had an idea what what was going on with it. Nobody wanted to listen, service diagnosed the problem Everything has been taken care of, and Im a happy customer as of today. Happy Fourth of July to everyone.
Overall a good experience; however, I asked for two things to be done before taking the car. First, I asked that the brakes be checked and was told they would pull the tires and check the pads and rotors to make sure they were ok. That wasnt done. Instead, I was handed the state inspection from two months prior saying all was good. Second, I asked that the wipers be checked. Same response. Yet, when you use the wipers they dont work. I can get new blades (good ones) for about $40. So, just make sure that they do what they say theyre going to do. Small issues, but two small things that were important enough for me to be disappointed when I came back to pick up the car. I had also asked for a quote on a second key fob, but didnt get that until I picked up the car as well. Guess they forgot to do that as I was hoping to get that done before driving off. So, instead of the dealer getting the key fob business, Ill find a reputable locksmith to have a new one cut and programmed. So, while Im happy with my new, used Kia, Im disappointed at the representations made by the dealers salesman with respect to what he said he would take care of.
I actually enjoy getting my oil changed or basic maintenance work done on my Kia because the waiting area is so nice. I can enjoy free coffee, water or popcorn while I am watching tv or catching up on work on one of their complimentary computers at their computer bar. Relaxing and efficient!

I went to test drive a Telluride today and the gentleman was so rude. He got in the car so I could test drive it and said you only got 5 minute and that’s it. He made me uncomfortable when I for got there but I brushed it off. That last comment made it worst. Holly Kia in Selbyville would never! I will never return there. He definitely made me upset and felt discriminated against.

Ask for Bunk. He is not pushy and listens to what you really want. My wife and I went in saying there was no way we would take a Kia Soul and both left with 2 brand new ones. Bunk stayed with us the entire day, from deciding on what we really wanted, to the financing. He gave us plenty of room to look around but was always there if we had questions. He didnt even pass us off like usual when it came time to financing. He sat with us and made us feel at home.

We got first oil change for the new car. The waiting room was clean and the service clerk was nice and knowledgeable. Had a early appointment so was in and out in less than an hour.
