This review is for a warranty repair. The service department staff was friendly and knowledgeable however it would have been nice to know up front and not after it was fixed that my extended warranty has a standard deductible per repair. The issue was resolved within a work day with a shuttle to the office.BUT: the technician who was hands on for the repair was literally that. This person decided it was necessary, with greasy, crimey, hands to use my A Pillar to pull themselves out of my car. Now Im left with marks on the interior white trim and around the exterior window molding and also not knowing what stress was put on those components. While it may not seem like a huge deal to some, for others like myself who pride themselves in having a clean, mark free car I now have to go out of my way to clean & sanitize what someone else left behind on a newer car that I am currently making auto loan & warranty payments against.EDIT 10/11/21: Senior management reached out to discuss issue with any marks left behind and amicable solution. With the courteous staff in the service department (as previously mentioned above) and management I would use again for any of my warranty repair needs.

Will looks you in the eye and always has a relaxed posture. I never felt bullied or ran over by him, his shoulders sat back at a relaxed angle suggesting openness. If you need a used Ford seek him out you will be glad that you did. He truly is there to serve you and fulfill your automotive needs.Overall ManagementI am sure they just saw us as just one customer so what and that we just have an axe to grind. This could not be further from the truth. I disclosed that I am a local Google guide (look me up MZLIB)& in good conscience could not allow this to go undocumented, also how many views that I’ve had (over 3million) not as a threat but a true heads up. My position is that of obligation to ensure others have a fair warning good or bad about any business to assist in their choices. Also (disclosed) in college I sold used Hondas. This felt important as to set the stage that I know the “shtick” of this gig. Not only did I not hear back I took this as a “bleep you”. There is a “wheel of sharing” in business, the wheel encompasses good vs. bad experiences and how quickly each side travels. Consumers are more likely to spread the word of dissatisfaction to more people than satisfaction.Sales ManagerI will open up with the fact that the person I am about to mention (I imagine) will magically become sweet as pie after this review. Please do remember that pie eventually goes rotten given enough time.Dimitri is his name and belittling is his game. I had made a previous purchase at this location, trouble free and NEVER have I ever encountered such behavior in my 30yrs. of car buying. I want to highlight that we absolutely would have made this purchase if not for Dimitri. Here is where everything went sideways;The final number being thrown around opened up Dimitris gate of hell and fury. Will called him with a number he shot up from his chair and bolted towards us. He was very loud, trying to exude complete dominance. His behavior was defensive fueled by aggression building to a crescendo. He was very brazen, strongly crossing his arms across his chest and taking a very off putting stance as he glared down at us. This felt like micro aggressions towards us. He yelled “who were we to tell him what we were going to pay (generally how negotiations work) & “what are you doing for me, look at all I am giving you”. We were going to significantly budge but the hostility wore on us quick. He proclaimed he’d rather send it to auction, you have a buyer but threaten us by saying “I don’t care about making a deal with you, I’d rather auction it” and we were costing him money. Since I previously worked for a dealership, I know the bread and butter of a dealership is their used cars. New cars (Especially American) can go practically to invoice, whereas you don’t know what they gave that person for their trade or if in fact it came from auction, thousands are made in used deals. (Used cars generally start mark-up at 5k+ from price dealer paid)As he stood screaming at us my husband was becoming openly offended; the first thing Dimitri reported to my husband was this is the one and only interest rate that I can give to then offer a point and a half off of the interest which showed a huge amount of dishonesty. (he made this proclamation away from his desk??) We then refused to go any further if Dimitri was involved. Ironically while purchasing the exact car we were looking to buy from them (with significantly lower mileage and higher price & we made that purchase within 24hrs. of this interaction) we ran into someone whom got a similar run around from them. This cemented in our minds that we made the right decision. Dimitris crass behavior exuded filth and anger.

The salesman in used cars, Will,, was great, as was the gentleman who went over financing with me.However, I needed a hitch..which I had said right up front. I knew the car didnt have one, but would pull my trailer..Will helped insure that .The parts department failed to order the hitch. I took the car in and was told 5 hours for installation. 6 hours later, I called them and was told it should be ready around 4PM.. It wasnt ready until almost 5:30.I went to pay and had been quoted $360. I was told that was installed. They tried to charge me $1100. Brought the hitch down to $360. Reduced the labor cost..but this has become a very expensive undertaking.I found out that in order to register my trailer, I had to have a working brake controller. So I contacted them. They called back to check trailer weight, but then never heard back.Communication is much less than desired!
I have bought many cars from different dealerships, but Safford Ford Lincoln of Salisbury has been my best experience yet. The salesman, Gus Koumbanios, and the financial manager, Joey Vogel, were some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. I found them to be very helpful and had a very good feeling that they were honest and truthful. The whole process of purchasing the vehicle went very smoothly, and I left there believing that I had not only gotten a good deal, but had made some new friends. Great staff! My car broke down on vacation. They didnt know me from Adam but they were very friendly on the phone & friendlier on person. I dropped it off late the same afternoon (today). More to come but so far 5 stars!Update: My vehicle was repaired in less than 24 hrs for the quoted price. They also did a factory recall on it while they had it. Leah communicated professionally through the whole process. Thanks so much!Update dropping to 2 stars- Took it back the next day for a noise in the same wheel, couldnt find anything. Took it back the next day & dropped it off. They said they found a loose brake shim. It didnt make the noise any more so..ok. Got home, noise is back with a vengeance & Ive both a part to fix it because theyre 2 hrs away. Fluke thing but still disappointed.

Safford Collison is a great place to get your car fixed. The check in and check out process was smooth from start the to finish, and from the front desk attendant to the estimator. The estimator explained everything to me on what to expect from them. When I picked my car up it looked just like nothing never happened and that is what you want it to look like. Overall I am a satisfied customer 😌.

Purchase of my new Ford Escape 2020 was a great experience!A couple of weeks ago, my car would not shift out of Park, according to service, there was a chance the wrong solenoid may have been installed (a recall like item). And it was quickly replacedHowever, the reason for my 3 stars is the initial interaction I had on the phone with someone from the service department. When I called, the service person said “there’s not much I can do for you, I get off in a hour”.While I was fortunate to have an alternate means of transportation and able to get on with my day, I feel for anyone who is/was highly inconvenienced by this person in the future.
I needed help with my F350 after it bas been in service in Georgia at a Ford dealership who messed up my horn. I called and Stacy took care of me right away. She made an appointment and then Ryan found out the problem and fixed it. Thank you for the prompt service and the great customer service. I would definitely drive the extra mile and come here to since my truck issues instead of Pittsville Ford.
Estimator was excellent. Even though this was a small job, he treated it like it was a large important job. First rate service. Cant say the same for the receptionist. She needs a personality adjustment. She was unfriendly, rude, and didnt complete everything she was supposed to by not contacting the rental car company. If she was the face of Safford, I would never deal with them again. Thank goodness she isnt.
Took advantage of an inexperienced car buyer and sold me a car full of problems. Only showed me cars out of my price range even though their online and lot inventory showed cars within my price range. Went to test drive the car and the sales associate Cody told me there were no tags but I could drive it around the lot. Told me it has been inspected and it hadn’t. Couldn’t take the car home the day of purchase had to wait till the following Monday. Then immediately brought it back because it had a transmission issue that had a recall on it (even though he said there were no recalls). Told me I could only have a rental car for one day but the service department was understanding and gave me a rental for the entire time it needed to be fixed which was a month. Now I’ve had the vehicle for 6 months and had to have multiple other problems fixed. I don’t understand how you could in good faith sell a unreliable car to a mother with young kids.
Went in looking for a manual vehicle, a rare request these days, and had a specific car in mind but after looking at my needs, Gus picked out a manual 2019 Jetta for me and I love it! Car is fantastic and service was excellent thanks again!!

While camping at Assuteague Island State Park i need an oil change in my 2020 F350. I went to Safford Ford and the service department was the best I have ever experienced. I want to give a shout out to Stacey Burroughs, service advisor, she went above and beyond. If I lived closer they would definitely be mt dealer. You cannot go wrong at Safford Ford.
I am so disappointed with Safford Ford Services. We brought our truck there to get something fixed. I went and picked it up yesterday. When I got home, we noticed the taillight was shattered and there was damage to the bumper. I contacted the manager today and was told they will not take responsibility and will not fix anything. Our truck was perfect (just purchased a few weeks ago mind you) when it was brought in. To say I am angry is an understatement. If you need to get your car/truck serviced, I urge you to think twice before going to Safford. And if you do, please check your vehicle completely before leaving their facility.
Dear Owner, I received your response to my original review and now you ask me to waste more of my time and reach out to your management team to discuss your teams inability to live up to the expectations they set further. How about this, why not you walk over to your used car center check your email and call list for my name and then you, the owner, give me a call to discuss my dissatisfaction with the performance of your team? Should you be as concerned as your response says this would be the simplest means to attempt to resolve the issue.As stated this was a used vehicle, specifically the 2103 White BMW X5d that you now raised the price from $15,000.00 to $16,000.00 on. The salesman was Will and his manager is Dominic. Prior to my agreeing to travel three hours from my location to yours Will was asked specifically if the vehicle had any scratches or chips that are not shown in the photos, his answer was NO. I also asked about the condition of the tires and once again I was told very good with lots of life left in them. Upon my arrival the next day I found 7 scratches and chips on 5 different body panels. The front and rear tires are mismatched and the front tires are worn almost bald on the outer edges. On top of all this I was never made aware an engine issue and you only had 1/3 of a tank of fuel in a car you expected to to drive away with. As discussed with Will it was six hours of wasted travel time due to his negligence, incompetence and inability to be honest. When it comes to accountability the least that could have been done on the dealerships part would have been to pay for my fuel for my wasted trip. Instead all I received was an oh well sorry this didnt work out!Bottom line is that both Will and Dominic have my phone number should you be that concerned about reaching out to me.
I really love Safford Ford dealership for their knowledgeable & courteous staff. They listen to your problems and questions, then they resolve your problems right the first time! The timing of the visit is very short instead of some places being long waits. I appreciate everything that Salisbury Safford Ford has done for me. Give them a try. You will not regret it! I got an oil change at the dealership on Friday, drove to work on Monday and my oil light is on. Bring it into the shop, they tell me I need a whole new engine. I had a very difficult time actually figuring out what went wrong, they just told me it wasn’t anything they did during the oil change. Yeah right. Joyce in the service department was not helpful and was unwilling or unable to tell me what happened to my car, with a very slow response time to my questions. I ended up having to trade in my car, because the parts were on backorder until September. I wasn’t even told the actual pricing of what it would take to fix my car. A very disappointing experience.
Front desk (Ladies name Nikki) is awesome. Friendly service. Only issue (thanks to Covid) not enough vehicles to choose from. Not A Buyers Market (Supply and Demand,not in the buyers best interest). Priced fairly reasonable. Nogations of getting a better deal, not now because of the facilitys lack of vehicle.

They wouldnt budge on the price, but they did a bit on the trade in. We didnt get a tour of the car (buying took a long time), but they did set up a phone app the next day. The 110 plug was loose but they said theyd fix it if we make an appointment. Otherwise, LOVE the van -- We got a 250 crew van, and I highly recommend CAITLYN MALONE. Great service. When we called to get updates on our vehicle repair the body shop manager was very patient and helpful. This is the second time we have had body work done on our vehicle and have been very pleased with the quality of work.
Not worth it when out there to see a truck got set up for an appointment. Just for them to tell it was sold.... Versus calling me an letting me know. So i didnt waste my time gas an energy.

Upon finding about a nation wide recall on this truck I went to the dealership and had the part ordered. I made it clear that repairs needed to be done to the truck. I was told that the part would be there once I was ready for recall to be done. Repairs were finished but then i was told the part had been used on another truck. I had to wait for another part. I was very disappointed about this aspect of the customer service I received.
Everyone was nice and helpful, I had a latch replaced on my truck, got me in and out in no time at all.
Asked for shuttle service when scheduling. Shuttle service was not available when I got there. Kept getting different ETAs the 3x I went and asked. By time it came my car was almost ready. Very inconvenient. When checking in I was asked if I wanted wash and vacuum with my service. But it ended up not being done. I asked another guy and he said he doesn’t know why she offered it. And gave me a coupon to go to Sammy’s. Well I went and Sammy’s said Safford has not been paying them and they shouldn’t have gave it to me. And the coupon was old because they are no longer called Sammy’s. I think it’s called Zoom now. But ended up washing my car anyway. Will not be going back to them again.

Extremely disappointing experience! Buyers beware. Set expectations as to condition of vehicle prior to traveling three hours to complete transaction and pick up. Upon arrival found vehicle not to be as described also was notified of an undisclosed engine issue. Salesman and sales manager made meager attempts to resolve though refused to take full responsibility and accountability for their misleading description and lack on honesty. Went as far as to provide false documentation as to value of vehicle. Best to look elsewhere for your used car purchase.
Went to Safford to have brakes checked. Found out I needed brakes, rotors, & brake system flush.
The team at Safford was outstanding and very accommodating. They genuinely care about their customers and will do everything in their power to facilitate a successful outcome. I was away on business nearly two weeks, but the team was able to figure a way for me to sign all papers preventing someone from purchasing the vehicle from under me. My car broke down and needed a new serpentine belt. They fixed it fast and when i picked it up they even told me they had fixed 2 recalls I didnt know about..as well as making sure all fluids were topped off. I was thrilled. Less then 24 hours later my car starts overheating..

Another Ford dealer failed to complete a recall leaving the passenger side unable to latch. Safford Ford fit me in on a Saturday to verify the issue and order the parts. Parts came in on Monday and they fixed it the same day. Joyce in their service department is great.

I am just so excited to have found my sales guy and Safford Ford. He was thorough, and he was working WITH me all the way through my purchase. And today I had slow tire leak caused by screw in tire and Safford service was quick to respond. I actually drive over an hour to return to them. ALL of their staff continue to show due diligence and respond to all my questions.
Service and advisor were very efficient and quick. I guess mechanic didn’t place down floor protectors as my front carpet was a mess after I just had the vehicle washed the day before I brought it in. I was also charged a document service fee what ever that is. Weird.
Service was great and in a timely manner. I went in without an appointment due to a leaking tire valve stem. They took my vehicle in right away!! That valve stem was not in stock so they said they would have it in the morning. When I went back I was in and out very quickly and the job was done perfectly.Stacey provided great customer service and is always a pleasure to work with.

I bought a used car from these guys 19days ago. How about paying off the loan on my trade in? We calculated the payoff for 10 days. Were a little past that! I now have 2 car loans with payments due. Phone calls to Joey Vogel have not been returned. Not good, guys!

Attempted to purchase a truck from them, one that had the color, the gvw, and the towing capacity that I needed Saleswoman was nice, refered me to sales manager, who talked fast, we came to an agreement, she said she would email the details, never heard from her, would not return phone calls. Talked to another manager, who denied what first had said, referred me back to her. This all took two weeks! Ive never had such a confusing and mortifying new vehicle buying experience. Someone was prevaricating and deceptive.

Sanford Ford is a dealership that has integrity. I chose to drive past a dealership much closer to me because they did not have integrity. Bill Wilson took great care of my and Mr. Starkey (GM) honored his word. Kevin Ward was a fantastic salesperson. We needed to replace a Ford Expedition that had over 200,000 miles on it and wanted to downsize to the Ford Explorer.
