Horrible customer service by Al, Mark (the owner), and those under him. Dont do business at Ace. Said they werent going to sell 12 gauge shot shells to the public. Who are they selling to? Mark and Al are very disrespectful. Al will act all nice to you only to get to hunt your property then he will back stab you when youre not around. Dont give any of them your hard earned money. Forgot to mention they are extremely expensive on most everything there in the store. I did a lot of business with them over the years... I will never again give them another dollar. Poor quality, rude, disrespectful, and down right horrible business men. Ask me more about my experience and Ill be happy to tell you! 🙂

Best selection in town on quite a few items. They carry alot of items and if they carry it they have more options then any other store in town. For instance spray paint, gardening supplies, pesticides, if you need something besides just a multipurpose glue stick they have high temp low temp extra strong. A good adhesive selection. A good hunting and fishing selection. Friendly help. And many many other things they carry. And if they dont have it they will probably order it for you. This place is an asset to Salina. And we should make sure to support them.:

Would give it a 0 if I could. Was just told by a girl at the front desk that she didnt know what I wanted her to do about it when something was on sale and didnt right up correctly. I asked for a manager and the guy said do you want it or not? I said thats fine, he walked away and she laughed at me. This place is awful. Never ever again.

ACE is great! You dont realize how much stuff they have unless you take the time to browse the entire store. I like shopping here because its locally owned and operated.

Very handy location. The minus is you have to track down employees for help. The younger employees dont know too much about the products such as fix a fat, couldnt explain how to use it.

A regular stop when we go to Salina. Best fishing and hunting selection in Central Kansas. Bonus: the grill/bbq/smoker selection and accessories is unrivaled. And there is still other items on top of that! Ive been a fan of this place since back in the 80s and 90s when it was Gibsons. It still call it Gibsons.

Great place for fishing and hunting equipment

I use Ace mainly for their Marine supplies and odds and ends fasteners. But they also have a huge selection of rifles and hunting needs. Very relaxed atmosphere. If you cant find something anywhere else in town you will probably find it here.

They have it all, pretty much, for any home repair, project, or improvement. Burn the staff seal the deal. Way friendly, helpful, and made being there worth while.

While spending 20 minutes in the store I had someone offer to help me no less than 5 times and every time they had an answer. I crisscrossed the store twice from one corner to the next. The store is filled with unique things and lots of inventory. The aisles are narrow and you get the feeling the store is jammed with lots of things to discover. Great experience! I love the small town, local owed feel. I personally know the owners support the community. I suggest the community support them.

Incredible selection! Lived here for six years and only recently stopped in here. Huge mistake not stopping sooner! The place is loaded with all the stuff at the big box stores, but its a local hometown store. Not to mentions they have the largest REAL outdoor sporting goods selection within several zip codes. And firearms? if youre into that, they have everything you need here! Including reloading supplies. Truly a one-stop shop for any hunting or camping needs. Very resourceful.

Nice Ace store! They quite often have some real unadvertised sale items that are a bargain. And helpful employees to assist you in finding whatever you need. In the Spring, they have the lowest prices in town on a wide variety of hanging plants. I docked one star because if you need to use the restroom, you have to find an employee who has a key as they are locked. As I age, this becomes more and more important to me.

Great variety. Can shop here for almost anything as well as things you never think of. Clean store, well stocked. Still just a little pricey in comparison to the big box stores but worth the look.

You probably will pay more but it seems if Menards or Lowes doesnt have it, this place will. Awesome store with everything in it. Personally one of my favorite places to shop in Salina.

Pretty nice hardware store for small time Abilene.

I think the prices are a bit on the high side. So for me what makes them worth paying from time to time is the helpful staff and there smiling faces, the convenience of in and out. And the other big plus is that they always seem to have that unique or special tool or part or whatever it is you didnt know you had to have that you cant find anywhere else. Im closest to the Salina store so Im more familiar with it but any others I have been to are all nice experiences and something a little different in every one you visit.

Employees were super nice. Got asked multiple time if I was finding everything alright. Store was setup to find anything easy peesy. Just wish prices were better. I usually shop Meards because of cheaper prices.
