Questioned some damage after tire install. Personally saw the tech going to town on the outside of my rim. Justin wasn’t as helpful as bengstons typically is. Came back with a hammer to experiment on my rim. No thanks. As a customer I wasn’t after anything free, just trying to point out a concern initially.

Driving through to Memphis from Denver, realized our back tire was bald. Called Bengtsons and spoke with Justin. He told us to come in and hed get us fixed up and back on the road. Not only Justin, but his techs were friendly upbeat and fast workers. We left there with 2 new tires within 30 minutes! Amazingly quick and professional experience. Thank you.

Top notch service. Discovered a nail in my tire on a x-country road in the morning. Saw us right away, repaired and on the road again in no time. Everyone was polite and friendly. Waiting area clean, shop was neat, tidy and organized...impressive for a tire shop. Even the bathroom was clean! The Kansas Transportation Agency could learn from Bengston. If I lived in Salina area I would definitely get my tires from here.

I don’t give 5 star reviews often, but Bengston’s is truly the best place in town. They are professional, kind, trustworthy, and always go out of their way to provide quality service. As a female, they explain the car issue to me thoroughly and patiently, without being condescending or overly technical. Their estimates are accurate, they tell me when things need replaced or when I need to start thinking about replacing something. I can’t say enough about the team at Bengston’s. From mechanics to the guys at the counter, the whole experience is a joy.

I was driving from Denver to Kansas City and had a tire blow about 30 miles outside of Salina. Luckily I had AAA so the tow was easy. Called Bengtson and they told me they could squeeze me in. I was worried my wheel was damaged, but it ended up being okay. Bengtson sold me a tire plus install for an extremely fair price and had me on my way in very short order.I was especially pleased with the service because I am a service manager for an automotive shop in Denver. I understand the customer service aspect very well and Bengtson was top notch considering how abysmal customer service usually is in the automotive industry.

Bengston is the best around. Come back to town almost 7 years later and same guy Justin is still there to help. Always confident that I will be leaving with good tires and friendly service. Go to Bengston’s and you won’t be disappointed.

Ive had my vehicles serviced here several times over the years.they have reasonable rates .and as an added benefit they pick you up and drop you off when you leave your car to get fixed so you dont have to worry how you will get home and for free. only drawback i just discovred is that they dont service mercedes benz models. but hey, all other things are on point

I called Bengtson to have a tire that was recalled by the OEM replaced under the OEMs Safety Campaign Program. In this program, the CTA authorized dealer, which Bengtson claims to be, will be knowledgeable and handle the recalled tire replacement working direct with the OEM.Bengtson told me they had no experience with recalls and to talk to a different tire shop!Ill be sharing the same experience information with CTA.

On a road trip car started spraying oil everywhere. They got me in same day and had the problem fixed in a couple hours even with a fully booked day. Very friendly and professional shop. If I could give more then 5 stars i would. Definitely recommend if you are in the Salina area and need anything car repair at a very fair price

Terrible! AAA recommended Bengston Tire & Service Center when my 97 Chevy Van broke down 8 miles West of Hwy 81 on 11/17 as I was traveling from Arizona to Wisconsin to visit my mother who is in failing health. Bengstons was closed when I broke down, but I had AAA tow me there anyway. In order to inform them of my dilemma in a timely manner, I filled out a form online. The form would not submit unless I requested an appointment at least 24 hours out. The instruction was not clear and I had to complete the form multiple times as it lost my information.I tied calling when they opened, but they did not answer the phone until at least 20 minutes after they opened. I informed them that I.believed it was the fuel pump that failed. They tried to manage my expectations related to even being able to look at it on 11/18. However, they called mid-afternoon and indicated that it was indeed the fuel pump, and that they would start taking it apart yet on 11/18, order the part in the morning (it is also a NAPA parts organization. I dont believe they didnt have the part in house), and fix it on 11/19. They also said it would be a 4 hour job and quoted me $944. Since they open at 7:30 AM, I Ubered over around 10:30 AM. They informed me that they took it off the rack due to other appointments. The shop manager would not guarantee that they could get to it much less fix it that day although they had replaced another part for $200 including an unnecessary diagnostic for $88. However, they failed to give me the 10% AAA discount.To his credit, Bengstons shop manager gave me the phone number to Channel Ridge, which is a few blocks down and around the corner. Channel Ridge took my van in at 11:20 AM and had me on the road by 12:20 PM for $685. The owner said he could have taken me the day before. Although Bengstons may have suggested them, they would not commit to a resounding recommendation. From Channel Ridge, I drove another 13 hours without incident.My best guess is that Bengston did not want to work on 97 Chevy van. The shop manager kept reiterating that he had to be honest about how busy they were, but he failed to be honest about simply not wanting to work on the vehicle. Friendly? You bet! Honest or customer service oriented? No! Go to Channel Ridge.

They did good work and I was a thorn in their side with a complicated job. I was stranded in town and AAA recommended them. The main issue was that they were SO BUSY it took 4 days to get to my car. Once they did, it was done well and efficiently, though.

GO HERE! Highly recommend. We have never been to a more professional automotive shop! Justin was great when getting quotes over the phone and wonderful later when setting up an appointment. Service took maybe 30 minutes- we were so impressed! Most of the time at automotive shops you wait and wait and wait, despite making an appointment. They were quick, price was good and accurate when we checked out (nothing was hidden), and most of all they value their customers and they were professional. Any business owner could take a lesson from Roger. He has put together one fantastic team of individuals. Typically, the holidays will bring excess stress. It was not something to be seen at Bengtson Service Center. My family and I traveled into town to be with family for the holidays with a vibration on deceleration in out Ford Excursion. When I came in it was evident that the shop was full. The service manger Nathan, seeing my concern made it possible to have Brian take a look. A short test drive followed by inspection, Brian took me out to show me the loose driveshaft bolts. Brian took the time to inspect and make a thorough repair. A big thanks to Bengtson Service for keeping my family safe. What a great place when you need good help. Way to go Roger and all your great people.

I moved here in 2017, an Ive always changed my own oil. I didnt have the time and so finding a reliable place to change it was hard and the prices of other places was crazy. The guys here are amazing kind and reliable, they are honest about whats going on and what they are doing. They print out a full diagnose of you fluids in your vehicle and if they find something wrong that you may not have seen yourself they let you know.All around a great place and Ill keep coming back.

I had just moved to junction city and didn’t have the money to purchase new tires. They helped me refinance my tired and got the in quickly. I loved the service so much that I brought my boyfriends car to get new tired and the people and service are great. I would recommend people to buy there tires here and I would be back for my next set when they need to be changed.

What a helpful and honest place! I needed an alignment while traveling, but my van was way too tall to fit in their bays with all my belongings on the roof. They not only called another shop that would accommodate me, they made the appointment for me as well. Very professional people and a nice looking place. I highly recommend.

Even though they were quite busy, they were able to fit me in and repaired my tire within 20 minutes. They were friendly and courteous as well.

This is a great place to take your car for a repair, tires, or tune-up. The employees take the extra time to explain the repair to you. My understanding of cars is very basic but I feel comfortable to ask questions. Their customer service is amazing!

Took my car in to get the fuel pump replaced and they quoted me 800. Called me to let me know it was done and said it went faster than expected so theyll only charge me 600. They could have easily charged me the full quoted price or more but didnt. Honesty goes a long way in my book.

I had heard good things, but never tried Bengston Service Center. I was very pleased. I called to schedule an appointment and they had to call me back. They did - in three minutes! Nathan was friendly and helpful. My vehicle received a new starter with lifetime warranty. A new Battery with 42 month free replacement and my brakes were completely redone. I was late getting there, they were early getting it done...even the fellow getting my truck and bringing it up to the door was great.

I loved this place because they are good people who do great work and in a timely manner for my situation and at very reasonable prices Im grateful for all the help they gave me! is recommend them to everyone!

These guys are so honest and give great service! My grandpa was 98 years old and we would take his car in and he ask for an oil change or something else and if he didnt need it they always told him. They never just took his money. They are fast and friendly and have a great waiting area to sit while you wait.

We were heading back home to STL when we blew a tire. This was one of the closet shops to us and man am I GLAD we chose Bengtson. From entering to leaving was about 20 minutes. The staff was very kind and helpful and the end price was very reasonable. They also had a great little waiting area with snacks and sodas (not that we were there long but it was nice to have while we waited). I would 100% recommend this place to anyone! They were AMAZING!
