If I had the option to put no stars I would, today my husband and I drove out from Stockton which we called ahead and got pre approved for a car that we saw online and made a appointment to go test drive it and hopefully bring it home, we showed up probably waited about 40 min before even being asked what were there for. We were having a conversation with a sales guy and some other guys walk up and he totally cut the conversation off and went to talk to them, thenwe waited again. Finally another guy walked up and started helping us I told him we had an appointment, he couldnt even find the car, then he found out it was sold the day before also mind you the lady I even had the appointment with wasnt even there. It was the worst experience ever and driving out an hour just for that was so disappointing. Also the guy that walked off from the first conversation comes back and Pats my husband on the shoulder and states oh look, good you got some help. Your whole office should definitely consider doing more training on customer service, I went to the Stockton one and got treated way better and received helped right away

There were a few scratches on the car and he insured me right away they will be fixed for free. Valintine was the financier on my case and he was great too! Very straight forward, quick, but clear. Bought a SUV in 2019 but it got totaled in March of 2020. We had the received the check for the GAP claim but when we had deposit it to our bank, the check got returned. Made several trips to the Sacramento office and, called and emailed the manager in regards to the GAP claim check but no response. When asked for the corporate office/headquarters phone number, they provided a number which was for a pesticide business. They will be really nice to you when buying but not helpful after that. Very disappointed.
Horrible buying experience! No gas in car, the light was on! I was told that corporate dont give them gas cards to put gas into the cars for test drivers. Not detailed in/out, I had to request that they wash the vehicle before I pick it up. I cancelled the extended warranty within the allowed time frame, and was told that it was being processed & would take 3-4 wks. 8 weeks later, after getting in touch with corporate on my own, I found out that the cancellation form was NEVER sent! Theyll lie and rush you in and out like a drive thru, and cheat you the whole time! Watch your contracts with them!

I would be very careful dealing with this company. I purchased 2 cars from them. The first one was totaled and when I went to get the second one I cancelled my extended warranty for the first car. That was 5 months ago. I have made numerous attempts with no resolution. Over 20 emails back and forth. I was told the cancellation form was submitted 3 times! Why did they have to send it 3 times? A way to stall the refund??? Finally when I was frustrated and fed up I asked for a number or address to corporate office and I was told they did not have it. How do you not have the phone number or address to your corporate office? Another stall tactic. I was also told at that time that the GM sent a letter??? 5 months with no resolution and you sent a letter? Good customer service would have been to call and see what was happening with my refund but this is the way to get me to give up and not refund me for something never used for a car that was totaled. When I did a search for the corporate office I came across the BBB and they have a D+ rating and are not BBB approved. I wish I had known this prior to dealing with them. They are good when its time to purchase a car but if you need anything after that they are of no help at all. Very disappointed!! I would not recommend them to anyone.

When we first got to the lot there was a sale rep outside but she promptly went in as we were looking around. We wandered around for roughly 15 minutes and someone finally approached us and asked if we were being helped, then they went to get the same lady, I believe her name was Eliza, who went inside when she saw us. We were test driving it on the freeway to see how it handled and the entire time the lady helping us made it seem like we were inconveniencing her. We weren’t on the freeway for 2 minutes and she asked if we were going to be done test driving anytime soon as if she had somewhere else to be. She made us feel unwelcome and seemed very uninterested in informing us about the vehicle.
Great car buying experience from great people. My salesperson was Syed, the proud dad of three great young people - one who is studying to be a doctor, another studying to be a researcher, a third who’s still in high school and has amazing grades. He knows the address of almost every place in Sacramento. Incredibly smart guy. Maybe that’s not what you care about when you buy a car. But it mattered to me. I like doing business with good people I can trust.The purchase itself was easy. I test drove the car I saw online, purchased it with no pressure or stress to buy additional warranties etc. My understanding is no haggle pricing often relies on warranties or company financing to make up for the limited profit on the sticker price, and I had my own financing, so I was braced for pressure on the warranties at least- but a simple no was totally respected. My credit union valued the car at $2,000 more than I paid.The sales manager was a great guy, too. Super friendly and kind, I loved hearing about his long and happy marriage and his good advice on another car situation I was trying to figure out. Again, maybe not why you buy a car from someone, but it makes my day to deal with good people especially when I went in expecting a more stereotypical car buying experience.Awesome place and an awesome car, but most important, good people. Best customer service Ive ever had. Ive never experienced such honest car sales in my life! The cars were in really great condition and the guy that helped me was really upfront about everything. I even spoke with the manager Alan and he really knew his stuff, clearly been doing it for a long time! They detailed the car before I left with it and the process was so quick! The prices are crazy good for the conditions of the cars! Very happy customer, highly recommend and I would definitely deal with them again!
This is a shady place, beware of their scams, they try to make money off of you first they give an inaccurate credit score to rise up the interest rate and they deal with shady banks, I was sitting on the desk my eye fell on a document that break down the APR rates, and I was seeing my range of credit falls under 10%, but the document that they prepared for me was almost 17% .Also, it is a big scam that their prices are under the market value of the car, they hide their fees and sales taxes which made a car that was 13900 jump to 18900!!!Go to enterprise they deal with better banks and are able to get you lower interest rates, and also include all of their fees and sales tax in the price posted, what you are going to pay extra on the top of the cars price is the interest.A side note, the man who appeared to be the manager was smelling like alcohol when he was talking to me today!

I purchased a 2018 Toyota Sienna less than a year ago, I had a few questions about any warrenty information. But when I called the lady on the other end of the phone was very rude, and told me to call back at another time. She wouldnt even look up my account. Do not buy from here if your expected to be treated well. They will soon forget about you after you hand them the money.
Be prepared to spend extra money for repairs. So far, I had to repair my alarm system, replace my valve cover, and replace my oil pan. If you buy a rental car, keep in mind that careless drivers drove the car, underpaid mechanics fix the car, and there is no service record of the car. They are a business, and they will try their best to make the most money possible.
Be careful, dont buy from these guys as the cars are used as rentals and have major issues, these guys do a temporary fix on them and mark as certified. Trust me i am a buyer and regret it. The car you buy will start shaking from everywhere ( shocks, trunk,wheels,steering as power train issues) after couple months of buying as the car returns to its normal state.
This was BY FAR, the smoothest and most memorable car buying experience Ive ever had. Jay is amazing, he never tried pushing sales on me but was rather adamant to find a deal in my best interest. He was super sweet, actually had a personality and made the experience rather enjoyable as opposed to popular belief regarding car shopping.
We drove 300 miles to see a car that I was scheduled to test drive at a certain time on a certain day and when we got there 2 hours early they said that the car was already sold that morning and they didnt even bother to call us. They also said there was another person coming from a while away to see it that day as well and said I should call them. So rude and such a waste of my time and money. The person that helped me was Eliana Mendoza and I was also in contact with Sandra Him.

Wow. What can I say, except that I am extremely impressed with how things worked out! We bought a 2016 Kia Forte (without warranty) and soon found out that we should have gotten the warranty. 😥 it had problems by the next morning. We were so sad and frustrated. The car actually shut off while driving. Hertz was awesome with their response. They had it looked at by their mechanics and by Kia. They made things right! They had another model and switched the car out. We did opt for the warranty this time! Awesome customer service! Extremely impressed! Ernie was awesome!

I went to this lot twice, the first time the salesman Valentine was exceptionally aggressive, trying to get me to buy one of the two cars I test drove on the spot, no money down, even though I had money saved but I didnt have a check with me, due to the fact that I had just started looking and didnt want to get pushed into the first car I might like. I came back to drive another car a week later and Valentine was there again and began to interrogate me about if I was going to buy that day and if I had checks on me before he agreed to let me drive the car. We went on the shortest test drive I have ever been on and then he just left me on the lot without a word, and when I went to ask another salesman about another car they told me I should come back when I was more serious about buying a car. I bought a car the next day from a dealer in my town, the Yuba City Nissan, they were very nice, accommodating and thankfully they were nothing like the people at the Sacramento Hertz.

Still havent received our license plate and we have had our car for almost six months now. When we call now they dont answer or put us on hold then hang up. They had our plates sent to the wrong address and didnt notify us that they were sent back to them until we called a month after buying our car, they said it would take a few weeks to send, to see when they were suppose to arrive. Their reaponse was oh no one notified you yeah they got sent back to us. The salesman known as BJ has repeatedly told us he has been sending it out or working on it every month, week, day since we got our car. Now no one there will help us or answer our questions. The dmv said they cant help us because the plates were sent back to hertz car sales. Do not by from this dealership take your money somewhere else to save yourself the migraine we have STILL currently trying to get our plates. We have no info about our registration or when fees are due. We have not received ANYTHING!?!?!?!.
Great service and great value on used rental cars
I loved the car I purchased from them! The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one. The individual who handled my purchase at hertz was a nice person; however, he seemed unknowable about the car buying process and would constantly get upset and freak out. At multiple points I had to put him on the phone with my contact at the CU I was using to take out an auto loan because he didnt know what was going on. When we was looking for help or advice from his manager, they would start arguing. It made the car buying process extremely stressful because for the hours we would spend in the office, a good portion was them fighting. A couple months later I received my registration in the mail without the updated tags. The first time I called hertz and explained the situation they pretty much told me that they were not supposed to send me tags that matched my registration. The second time they told me that they probably misplaced them and would call me back. Never heard back. The third time they told me that they would look for them and call me back that same day. Never called back. By the fourth call I gave up and figured I would just bring it up with the DMV. Thankfully, I received my tags in the mail a week later.
Stay away weird way of doing business
This place is ok. They push you to pay for any extras. The salesman Sayed told the bank my income was more than what was on my check stub even though I provided him proof of my annual income. They never gave me a Carfax. Had to find out the car was in an accident by viewing paperwork in the glove compartment. The cars they sell have above average miles and try to say thats why they sell their cars so cheap. I regret purchasing this vehicle. I found out later the a car dealership could have gave me the same car for the same price with 50 miles on it. ☹️ All this with every staff member smiling. Very polite but the same time their smiles are devilish.

Good selection but our salesperson didnt know much about the cars. We were actually told incorrect information and ended up purchasing from another Hertz car sales location.
It was a crowded facility. No room to walk around a car properly. Sales trailer was just as cramped. Car selection was good and I got a fair price on a slightly used car.
Just horrible. We have had our car for almost half a year now and havent received anything from dmv. When we called to ask them if they sent out the information a salesman who goes by BJ said it was sent back to them because THEY gave the dmv the wrong address. We made sure when we bought the car that they had our mailing down and on file as the only address for mail. BJ then said he would look into it when we called a month after getting our car because they said it would take a few weeks. We still heard nothing back. We have been calling them repeatedly with no results. We also were suppose to get a second key with our vehicle that will reset the MyKey setting on our car. Itll only go a certain mph and has set volume. I do not think we should have to pay ford $300 for a replacement when Hertz car sales has it. We were told they were sorry someone may have lost it well look for you, months ago. I have emailed and called and was eventually told that my car is sold as is. Well it says it came with two keys, but we never received the second. We were once again told that by BJ. Im sick of waiting for them to respond or put me on hold then hang up on me EVERY time I call now. I paid for my stuff from the dmv and shouldnt have to wait this long without hearing anything. I even called the dmv who said they couldnt help me if it was sent back to the dealership. Where is our license plate?!?!?!?!???

Crowded space with little parking, operating out of a double wide. Being that these are all formal rental vehicles, most of the cars have some dings/scrapes. They accept trade-ins but will only give you the wholesale price (meaning what that vehicle is selling for currently at auction) which is usually a lot less then a normal dealer is willing to give you. They will also tell you they will get back in touch with you and never do.

When I went to this dealership with my girlfriend to buy her a car, I was a bit worried because last time we bought her a car all the dealerships were trying to shove broken cars down our throat. Hertz Car Sales on Fulton completely exceeding my wildest expectations. They were diligent, honest, and made our experience of getting a car hassle free. After we decided what car we wanted, they had it detailed for us right away and explained all the benefits behind the services they offer. We got their 6 year warranty and left with a 2016 ford fusion. Not only was the car amazing but so was the manager of the lot, he came out and shook our hands, explained everything we needed to know when it came to buying this car and had a great sense of humor! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a car.
We called ahead of time & told them which car we were interested in so they pulled it aside for us & waited until we got there. Test drove it & I immediately fell in love with it. In the middle of signing papers Sayed Karimi came in with a birthday cake & they all sang happy birthday. They were all also so great with my 2yr old son. I have to say the gentleman at this location were awesome. I never met such sincere people at a car dealership. Not only did they find me a great APR for our car loan but the service was no hassle or hustling us.I just recently had a surgery on my jaw due to a tumor. We were hungry but I cant chew at all. We had some time to kill because there were a couple of others purchasing in line before us. The Gentleman that helped my husband and I not only recommended something to eat nearby but he ordered A special dish for us. Talk about amazing service and going above and beyond. Thank you Hertz!

Purchased beautiful Nissan 2017 Maxima. Asked if car engine ect. had been thoroughly checked by their mechanics...like a certified car dealer would do and she answered yes. Two or three months later car wont start and we see that battery cables are thick with corrosion and battery needs replaced. Contacted sales personnel and was told would be reimbursed and to mail battery receipt. That car should of been checked before leaving lot. Today was told car sold as is so no reimbursement for battery. So I was lied to. I thought your dealership was more high class and honest than the cheap low Cal Worthington type dealership.

Okay I cannot express how great of service I recieved walking into this dealership. I was walking around for maybe 3 minutes then an employee named Sayed came and adressed me. It looked like a busy day on the lot and he managed to help me and another couple browsing at cars as well. I did not feel any pressure choosing a car from this dealership. I spent about 6 hours that day going through the car buying process. It was a hot day and one of the salesmen were walking around offering drumsticks, I kindly declinded but the thought was nice. I ended up buying a 2016 Hyundai Sonata for a great price, under 10 grand. I purchased the warranty as well and gap insurance. The deal was too good to pass up. The financing manager was very helpful showing me the car fax report and even showing me the inspection paperwork that was down previously on the car. No other dealership has done this before. If you want a nice cheap affordable car I highly recommend coming here before anyone else. The prices are unbeatable and the salesman and respectful and patient knowing it takes time when looking for a new vehicle. Definitely will be recommending this place to all my friends. Ignore all the bad reviews previous people have left, I almost didn’t come because of those but I sure am glad I came anyway. I also wanted to add that the GAP insurance isn’t required and neither is the warranty. Some other username said it is and they gave me options where I can have both coverages, one, or none. I love my new to me Sonata.
Amazing attention when buy no hassle
First and last time I buy a Hertz car! Purchased a 2016 Hyundai Elantra from this lot and it has been a complete nightmare. You cannot do a proper inspection on the lot and they tell you if you dont buy it today it will be gone tomorrow. Its clear now that this car was not well maintained and so far nothing has been covered by the Power Train Warranty. Also, the cars looked pretty good in the photos, but once we were there looking at them, they were in rough shape. We looked at every Elantra on the lot, and we definitely got the one with the least amount of body damage. The salesman was nice and helpful, but dont think you are buying a regular used car - youre buying a rental car that was driven like it was stolen, and then stolen again, and then stolen again, and then stolen again and then detailed and serviced by a Hertz employee making minimum wage, and then stolen again.

I bought a 2016 nissan sentra back in February. I absolutely loved my experience. Not only did i show up an hour before closing like the usual pain in the behind customer, but i was greeted almost immidiately by JP whom was an excellent help. I had been looking at the car selection for weeks before i showed up so i knew which car i wanted. JP had to unbury it from the back which he did quickly and allowed me to test drive it. The paperwork process was quick and when i was approved they even drove me to the local winco to get a moneyorder for my down payment. I would highly reccomend this location and definitely go see JP. Even though my transaction kept them well over an hour past closing i was never rushed nor made to feel like my business did not matter. Thanks again! Youve got a forever customer with me!!

DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE !! Trust me all the cars that they have in stock have scratches on them, have scuffs, dirty, and scratches on the paint. I walked around for literally 1 hour and nobody wanted to help me. I finally go up to the sales guy and I said, is there anyone here that can help me ? And the guy said probably not. Horrible customer service and all the cars there are not in good shape at all. Since they are rental cars you do not know whether they are reliable or actually in good condition. I drove 1 hour away just to get turned down by there employees ! Buy at your own risk
I hadnt bought a car in quite a few years. I talked to a couple of dealerships and knew when to walk away. I saw a Mazda I wanted online and Valentin Albu greeted me after I looked around the lot a bit. I cant say enough about this dealership and especially Valentin. They were a no pressure kind of place and I got exactly what I came to get. It was a true pleasure purchasing a used car from Hertz Car Sales. I dont care what anyone else says, I look for people like this to do business with. I watched and listened to the other salesman helping others and I was impressed. Bought at car last month already having problems car won’t start at time or just shuts off at a light. I wouldn’t recommend buying a car from them obviously the certified is just a sticker they don’t actually maintain the cars.

Want to be abandoned by your salesman because hes off and cant be bothered to get anyone else? We got you covered. Want to talk to the manager and get told to f*** off because youre not making a $12000 decision on the spot? All this and more can be yours at this lot. Extra features include dodging questions, lying, cluelessNess.Led by a pompous manager who thinks hes king of the bungalow. The man uses the excuse that they mostly sell to dealers as a reason for their awful service. Funny that Hertz car sales Roseville doesnt have nearly the same problems.

They pulled a bait and switch. Drove 2 hours to see a car from their website. Called ahead of time and told me they had it in stock. Showed up to have them show me an older model of the car. Walking on the lot, car were beat up, broken antennas, dings, dents, scrapes.
Lots of cars to look at, at reasonable prices.
