The only reason I give this a 3 star is because the first person to greet and talk to me was good. Test drove the 2022 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid limited by myself. The sales person was extremely friendly but couldnt score a deal with me, probably because of the $5000 mark up for all the vehicles. Their internet manager Omar then tried to get me a deal. Again, it was tough to get a deal because of the $5000 mark up. However, Omar played the friendly game but I could see in his eyes that he was very upset. Pretty sure I heard some shady talk in the background with the manager on the other side also. Omar also will talk over you and pressure you into a deal. I could see how some people would be pressured into buying a car here. The guy barely let me talk. I finally walked out after their last offer. I ended up going to Elk Grove Toyota and buying a 2022 Toyota Camry. The $5000 mark up wasnt there and their customer service is definitely superior. I was allowed to talk without being interrupted and talked over. Grateful for Elk Grove Toyota.

Great place to purchase automobiles.. Great respect and response from the entire crew.Chip shortage at the given time is making the deal worse, paying over the MSRP is compulsory, we did the same. This is an unusual standard across all the car dealerships. Otherwise they did a great job, special thanks to the sales executive, manager and finance rep!! Reliable Hyundai!

The ONLY nice people was Chris and Grady. They did not greet me when I walked in. The two young girls in the front sat there on the phones. When I was told to go to one of them the girl did not even say hi. She said what is the name. Hella rude. Then she and the other girl looked at each other and I can tell they was referring to me. The other people on Chris side talked among themselves. Uncomfortable atmosphere. Customer service training most definitely is needed. I managed a store and anytime someone walked in was to be greeted. I really do not want to ever come back. Like I said Chris was amazing but the other folks in there need training. Especially the young girls at the first desk.

Andrew at Sacramento Hyundai was so knowledgeable about Hybrid and EV vehicles. I really appreciated this as my experience at two other dealerships left me thinking salespeople just dont know anything about the cars they sell. Andrew answered our questions knowledgeably, and when he didnt know, he looked it up. Andrew even had to call all of the dealerships in the area to find the car we wanted then drive south of Stockton to pick it up. Almost all of our interactions here were with friendly, helpful, staff. I was truly impressed. Once they get moved to their new location the whole experience will be even better, Im sure.

Waste of time unfortunately, the car we went to see, an EV, wasnt charged at all so they asked us to wait 45 minutes to allow them to charge the vehicle. This car was on their lot ready to sell and couldnt be driven. On my trade they were 30% lower than three other dealers. The sales person was nice but didnt know his stock at all, with such limited stock currently available people selling cars should know features.

They are a useless car dealer. I called to set up an appointment for a recall where the engine could catch on fire. The soonest appointment was over a month away so I said the car is unsafe to drive therefore I need a loaner car, they wouldnt do it. There solution was dont drive it. I live alone and Im disabled and is my only means of transportation. In the meantime Ill have to make two car payments if I dont use the cat. Like I have $700 to throw away on something I shouldnt be using due to their error

I like that the salesperson I dealt with was friendly and did not pressure me to buy a specific vehicle. He showed me all the vehicles I was looking at even brought the keys so we can test drive and sit inside just to see the interior and explained the features of the vehicle we were looking at. He worked with us very well. I ended up coming back to buy the car I test drove because the manager called me to see if he can do anything to help earn our business and even bought our old lease car which I didnt know they could do so he helped me learn and make a deal at the same time. The car was for my wife and she was happy with the process and the car she got from this dealership and for the price . THANK YOU Sacramento Hyundai.

This dealership is awesome. From the time you walk in the door they make you feel welcome, without feeling hawked. They let us look at inventory without pressuring us to buy. Andrew found us the vehicle we wanted based on our wants and our needs. He was awesome. So glad to be in our brand new car. We live 2 hours south and drove here twice because customer service was superb! We also didnt have to wait hours for financing. These people are on it!! I have been a Hyundai Sacramento customer for over 11 years. I have really loved both my Sonatas. They are so reliable and a great value! They always come with extra safety features not provided by comparable Nissan Altima or Toyota Camry. Safety is the 1st thing for me, then reliability and then mileage and comfort. My 2021 Sonata Hybrid Limited is absolutely amazing!!! The dealership is customer focused and is very reliable. It is avery good dealership!

Once the service light went on for our new car, we tried to make an appointment with the service Department at Hyundai on Florin Road. We first tried to book online and the next available appointment was 6-8 weeks out. So then we called and they said it would be 4-6 weeks out. We brought in our car and they threatened to charge us for the services because in their words oh, you are way overdue. You should have called and asked to have it brought it sooner. We could technically charge you and void the warranty.

I was told 14,999 for the purchase price then 16,000 and some change out the door for taxes and fees, then when sent to signing they snuck the final price as 17,000. (Not what we agreed) and when I told him that his associate said something else he just acted like it was nothing he cared about. I’m happy with my car, but if I could return it just because I feel that the sales manager was shady, I might.EDIT: The finance manager just called my husband and said that the interest rate we signed our contract for can’t be done. They are trying to have us waste another day off to come back and sign for a higher interest rate that we did not accept. This dealership is a joke.

Sacramento Hyundais customer service hasnt been the greatest. When I had issues with my engine in 2018, I brought my Hyundai in 3 times to be looked at and they did diagnostics on it 2 times before finding out what the issue was on the 3rd time when I brought it in by that time my warranty had expired. I had an issue this time with my steering wheel making a weird noise when I made a left or right turn or u-turn and I had issues with water leaking on the floor on the passengers side. I first made my appointment in June and the agent told me the next appointment would be at 10:00 am on June 21st. I asked if there were any other earlier appointment dates and the agent told me they wouldnt have any other available appointments until July and June 21st was the earliest appointment. After I made the appointment I never received an email confirmation for the appointment. When I showed up at my appointment on June 21st at 10 am the technician stated that I was not in the system and then told me he would have to check to see what the issue was. When he came back he gave me a piece of paper that said the appointment was updated to June 29th. He told me I came on the wrong day and that my appointment was the following Tuesday. I told him my appointment was that day and if they needed to change the date they should have called me. I also received an email confirmation saying that the appointment was updated to June 29th. When I got home I called to talk to a service advisor about changing the appointment and they indicated that sometimes the Call Center makes mistakes and doesnt log the appointment times in so maybe that was what happened. He stated that the call was recorded so they could check the recording to see what actual date was given to me. I got a call back the next day from a Hyundai representative stating that the appointment was actually for June 29th but I know I was originally told June 21st. If my appointment was originally June 21st why would I receive an email confirmation saying my appointment was updated to June 29th. The agents and or representatives need to be honest with their customers when a mistake is made whether it be with messing up an appointment or anything else. Anyway that really frustrated me especially because I made the appointment on June 5th and couldnt get my car in until the close to the end of June and then it was changed until the end of the month.

Purchased a Chevy Silverado here last Friday. Test drove the truck, double checked the mileage, 600 miles left on the power train warranty- awesome! Only one key, annoying but fine. I asked if they could keep the one key and drive it up to the front lot when we pulled up but they said no, once i purchase the vehicle they are not allowed to drive the car.Come back Saturday morning to pick up the truck, they had found the spare key, the car was out front the dealership and there was an extra 200 miles on the odometer, the cab reeked of cigarette smoke and there was candy wrappers in the center console.I had purchased the truck for my boyfriend, he drove the truck off the lot and I drove the rental back to Enterprise so I didnt notice until we were about a half hour away. Called the dealership and the manager passes the phone to someone else and refuses to speak with us then has the sales manager call me back. They claimed it was a paperwork error, they wrote the wrong mileage on Autotrader and all my paperwork. They denied anyone drove it anywhere other than from the back lot to the front of the dealership and they refused to do anything to make things right.

Purchased a 2015 Jeep Patriot a year ago with Brian Sax. Along with the car, we decided to purchase the Platinum Grade warranty. Brian assured us that the warranty would cover any repairs that were needed on the Jeep for the next two years or 24,000 miles. While we were under the 24,000 mile mark, the transmission began to slip and skip. We called Carson City to have them do the repairs. According to the service manager at Carson City, the company the warranty is through wanted us to drive the car until the transmission completely failed before they were going to pay for anything. If Brian had been honest with us from the beginning, we would have never purchased that warranty. Thank god for the people at Carson City. They gave us a little break in the repair pricing. Next time we need a vehicle, we will definitely be visiting them instead of Sacramento. Sacramento Hyundai doesnt see you as an individual worthy of respect, they treat you like a number. You are just another sale to them.

Is one star appropriate for my experience?We usually go to a nearby locally owned garage but, whenever we get recall updates we go to the dealer. After 2-3 months they found that we qualify for the engine replacement recall. Great! Four people told me on four occasions that when we bring the car in, Sac Hyundai will provide a complimentary loaner car (maybe you can see where this is going).Six days ago I dropped off the car but, they didnt have a loaner. I get it. Life. Every day I call and every day they say they dont have one. Here is what I have learned.Half of their loaner cars are out of circulation, they have no way to guess when a loaner will be available, they broke their partnership with Enterprise so they wont cover rentals, they will provide one bonus Uber trip to a doctors apt but nothing else. On the fourth day a service tech told me that I should come up with a plan B because they couldnt guarantee that they will have a loaner available over the up to three weeks needed to replace the engine.So, are they a one star company? Multiple people lied multiple times over months which indicates a culture of deceit that encourages employees to, you know, lie. Do they lie about everything? If you go their for an oil change will they put bleach in your engine? Of course not. But. The organization is not trustworthy. Management has not created a system of accountability.

So I went to get my car serviced regarding my car not starting and something was draining my battery. They said they couldn’t find nothing wrong with the car and it would start for them they also kept it overnight and still started but the very next day my car was dead I paid for a diagnostics and they did not find anything and I’m still having problems everyday. This dealership staff does not seem to be very knowledgeable about electric vehicles or any of the issues surrounding their own models. My wife and I came in to take a Kona EV for a test drive after making an appointment the day before. The test drive went off without a hitch and the staff were very courteous in this regard. Once we got back to the dealership however they attempted to press a lease on us until we told the salesman and his manager three times that we were not interested in a lease and were only looking to purchase. We also told them up front that we were not looking to make a purchase that day but were looking for more information about the vehicle and other electric vehicles on the market before we did make a purchase. When we asked for more information about the specifics of the Kona EV, particularly Hyundais current plan for fixing safety issues in regards to the current act of recalls on the vehicle, the manager Ahmad, did not seem to have any answers to our questions and said that he would have get in touch with their service department and get back with me via email.It has been 2 weeks now and I have not received any correspondence from Ahmad or anyone else at this dealership which is a shame. The vehicle test drive was really good and from what Ive read across various reviews of this vehicle is the Hyundai has one of the better warranty programs. However if their dealership cant be bothered to get me an answer to our questions within a two week span they clearly do not want our business.

Scheduled an appointment for a car I was planning on buying. About 2 hours before my appointment I went online to look at the car again and I couldnt find it. I called to make sure it was still available since I was about to drive a few hours away to go see it, and they said they didnt know and would call me back. Never received a call back. I wasnt even contacted again until I was sent another email blast days later, and replied explaining the situation and that I was never contacted back just to be told it had been sold. Glad I didnt waste my gas, time, and money to drive hours to see a car that had already been sold. I never write reviews but I found this to be the most unprofessional dealership Ive worked with in my whole car buying process. The car was supposedly available on Christmas and my appointment was 2 days after. You should know when you have an appointment and what car they are coming to see. How do you not contact the people that were interested in a car you just sold?

If youre in the market for a Hyundai, youre probably better off going to Folsom or Roseville. Our salesperson was a very nice guy, but its pretty apparent that the manager is only interested in the bottom line for the store and doing whats best for himself. If youre a parent with small children, be prepared to potentially have that taken advantage of, especially in the closing stage of the buying process. You should also consider arranging any financing directly with your bank in advance so that you arent stuck with the stores trash financing. Honestly, dont be surprised if you find that they try to screw you...EDIT: Seriously, our salesperson is the only reason this review is even getting any stars.

Bought a 2020 car. They said their mechanics has COVID so could not services the car. Scheduled an appointment for 3 months later. They kept calling, emailing and sending msg my dashboard about my appointment.Scheduled me on a Saturday, called to change they said the next available slot was months later. Came to the appointment, the service desk tells me they can not services the car because my car doesnt have enough miles. I said so, they said we will service until your miles are higher. So they couldnt couldnt informed me or catch this stuff till the day I came. The desk tolled the sales people was wrong, the service desk lady was also was wrong and email that came from the company was wrong except he is right and he will service my car.

I have taken my Sonata for service here a few times over several years. The customer service here has been stellar every time! They give you a complete print out of their inspection with pictures, explanation and pricing. No pressure to make repairs immediately. Explain which can wait and if any should be done asap. Oil change is about $45 unless you want the engine cleaner additive added, which is about $18 extra. Very reasonable price since Jiffy Lube charges about $80 for an oil change.

This dealership is unfortunately not one I would ever recommend (when it comes to a used vehicle anyway). I cannot speak for their new car sales. The car I bought from them had an illegal catalytic converter in it. They should have never sold it knowing that it would not pass smog. Their excuse was that they just didnt look at the car that closely, which is pretty concerning. Thankfully, they did take up the responsibility to fix the issue. I was hesitant to even trust their work but after having my car double checked by another shop, they did do what they said they would do. They are not honest though, and I think that honesty means a lot. If you plan on buying a used car from them-- bring a mechanic with you to check the car. I am giving them two stars, because while I appreciated the salesperson when I bought the car and their willingness to accept responsibility for the issue and fix it, it should have never happened at all. My only advice is please be wary. It was my first time ever buying a car and it was more stressful than I would have imagined.

Excellent, honest service. Took my car to have rotors checked as the place that does my oil changes and alignments said there was a deep groove and that it should be resurfaced or turned. Hyundai service tech, Dominic, looked at it after I confirmed it was not affecting breaking and said that it wasnt necessary. A less honest person might have used it as an opportunity to make money.

The young lady that had checked me in was very polite and friendly while Chuck and his team assured me they would find what was wrong with my car as soon as he could. I wish I would of read reviews first! I shopped everywhere for best deal within 100 miles. Found best deal in Stockton. Called Sac Hyundai and talked to Omar for info. Called a second time for more info and Omar told to quite calling and come in because he would beat any other dealers pricing. I went to Sac Hyundai and felt rushed and bullied. We agreed on a price of $42,000 out the door for a 2020 kona ev limited. I was rushed throughpaperwork and was assured I was getting the price I was quoted. Looked over paperwork that evening and was floored when I noticed they charged me over $46,000!! Called the next morning and was told sorry its set in stone. I took my car in because there were grinding sounds coming from the rear of car.They told me, when they drove and ran diagnostics on the car and they couldnt hear any sounds.This is the same car when I drive anywhere, pedestrians, other drivers and myself can clearly hear sounds emitting from the car.With that in mind, and their desire to charge $165, tells me they are far more concerned with my money as opposed to finding out the problem and doing whatever they can to fix it.I highly recommend finding a different service location if your goal is to get your car fixed and fixed properly.You have been warned

My engine had some problems regarding the recalls. I took it to Sacramento Hyundai and all my worries were over!! Chuck from the service department took care of my car they gave me a rental car and my car runs perfect. I couldnt have asked for better service! Thanks Chuck from Sacramento Hyundai! Daniel and Daniel were really great. I was dreading having to meet with car salesmen after I had already made up my mind on the SUV I wanted. Daniel 01 was very knowledgeable when he went with my family and I on the test drive. Daniel 02 was very accommodating, well-informed and flexible on the price.Neither of them acted like your typical car salesman. They presented themselves as regular people not SALES-people.Great car, great people.Thanks guys!

Took the car for a recall, made an appointment, car was not ready until a week later and returned with tire sensor light to boot. Comms was atrocious - last minute pushouts and then a call at 4:30 to pick up car by 5pm... Very sad as I am a Hyundai fan

Paid $160 for them to tell me what I had already communicated to them during the intake - their estimate for the repairs was 3x market rates - staff was rude and Ive had nothing but issues with the Sonata since buying new. Awful all around

Best car buying experience!!!(tldr: Go talk to Onik and Andrew, theyll make it happen for you)We were driving to another dealership to see a specific color of Palisade as Sacramento showroom did not have the color we wanted. We gave Onik a call just to let him know that we wont be going to Sacramento showroom. He requested us to still come in and assured that well be happy with what he had to offer. Long story short he & Andrew brought the car we needed from that other showroom and gave it to us at a much reduced price. We walked out with the car we needed at a lesser price than we hoped to pay, fully satisfied.Onik and Andrew are very courteous not pushy and make you comfortable. We had our pup with us who needed shade and water as it was the middle of summer. They made accommodations and helped quite a bit. Andrew gave us a few financial tips which were very helpful.Thank you again Onik, Andrew and the whole Hyundai of Sacramento team for all the help.

UPDATED: they did not do what I asked of them. My car is not fixed, in fact, it shuts down while driving it. I got a good report back when it came to engine and transmission inspection so there is NO reason why my car should be shutting down and could potentially cause a very severe accident if it does this on the freeway.Very nice, very accommodating, and very quick. They’ve never let me down.

The service team was diligent about communicating the status of the work being done on my car. Darrell was the employee that I interacted with during the service and he was very professional and direct. I had issues with an Uber trip, and he was quick to call and apologize for any inconvenience. I had to come back for a second day since the parts needed were not available. Turns out the original issue that caused me to take my car in was not fixed, so I have to go back, but I am confident the service team will do all they can to finish the service.
