This place is horrible and they are rude and unprofessional. If they work as much as they talk and play they could get work done. They changed my tire and broke 2 lug nuts and never said a word. The next day i noticed my tire wobbling. I spoke to manager and she gave me a bs story about how it was my fault. I corrected her asap then she apologized amd offered me a free tire! Go elsewhere

The employees, outside, were very polite. The girl inside behind the counter couldve smiled or been a little more polite. As a customer, I would DEFINITELY like to see the outside drive through tent PUT BACK UP!!! I was getting rained on while the man was writing my ticket up !!! (Ruston Walmart) Automotive section

You’d be better off installing a battery, changing your tires, changing your oil, or all three. This place is garbage and have no sense of time. Took nearly 2 hours to install a battery.

I have been going to this Walmart to get my oil changed since moving to Ruston but will not be back after today. Every time Ive gone in Ive gotten their cheapest oil change which is a pit crew. Today without telling me they decided that they were going to give me a standard oil change and charge me for this when I did not ask for a standard. Livid I went ahead and paid for it and would return with receipts from previous visits and to speak with a manger. I had already waited an hour at this point. I happened to have receipts from previous visits in my car and took them in and asked to speak with a manger. While waiting for a manager, another employee sat there and tried to tell me that one of the technicians told her thats what I requested. It was not what I requested and he wouldnt even be the one to know what I requested because it was not him who I had talked to. The store managers solution was to instead of giving me a refund for charging me for something I didnt request or ask for, was to bring my car back in and waste more time for them to re-do my oil change. Yeah no thanks, I just wont be back.

These guys didnt close my hood and never told me about it fast forward to me hitting the highway my hood flew open damaging my windshield and they conveniently blamed the hood latch even when the guys that did my oil change admitted he didnt close it, I never got an apology or settlement. Please always check your hood after visiting these guys.

I found a tire advertised on their website and called to get a quote with mounting and balancing. The rude girl on the phone informed me they didnt carry that brand, couldnt get that brand and had nothing comparable to that price! This is classic bait and switch.

I was getting ready to take a trip to Kentucky. I went to get my oil changed. I had 8 cars ahead me of. They told me it would be about a 30-45 minute wait. I was fine with that. About 10 minutes later they called me back and told me where ever I had my oil changed last time they put an oversized oil plug in and they were not able to change my oil. So I took it back to where I had it done the last time. Explained to them what Walmart had told me. They said theyd look at it and let me know. About 20 minutes later they told me my oil plug was in fact NOT oversized. The fact that I was told 30-45 minute wait at Walmart and 10 minutes later they called me back to explain this makes me believe they just did not want to do work. I will not be back.

I read these reviews before going and thought I could have a better experience, but I was wrong. Employees yelling as their way of talking to a customer as I observed. I had a tire they repaired that kept going flat still, but they said they couldnt find anything wrong with it and then it stayed inflated after putting it back on (strange). Then two other employees sitting beside the door smoking as customers were not being acknowledged. This Walmart would like everyone to carry their business elsewhere apparently. Hopefully some others will have a better experience and leave a good rating. My 2-stars was for completing the job as I paid for even if a second trip was necessary.

Been to many places that services tires (including other Wal-Marts) that would try to get someone through quickly if they were broke down on the side of the freeway and needed a tire fix. The wheel is off the vehicle and no more than a 10 minute fix but have to wait an hour and half wait. It was first come, first serve. I understand the need for lines, but this is for someone who is need of help. This is the first tire shop that was this heartless. Every shop I been to got the tire done as quick as possible. No more than 30 minutes at the most.

They do not check or add coolant to the radiator because theyre not certified. They do as little as possible, and they have the attitude of Hey were doing you a favor. You can forget about reminding them to reset the oil change light.

Walmart broke my TPMS and left the broken part in my cup holder without telling me. Then had me drive to another auto parts store to buy the part. Then Walmart failed to fix the sensor three times. So Walmart had me go to another shop to get it fixed. Once I went back to Walmart to get reimbursed they tried to tell me to wait two more days for my money. A 2 hour tire change turned into a 4 day mess filled with numerous customer service blunders, and a whole lot of wasted time and gas. Never coming back to the Walmart auto shop again. Stay very clear from this incompetent auto shop.
