Saturday Nite Shenanigans is one helluva good time. Lots of amazing experiences with spectacular staff and guests.Shopping here is a wonderful experience. Starting with the inside of the store.Entering the building is such a delight. From the artfully colorful walls to the gorgeously arranged chain-link fencing that is a functional display for the merchandise..to the perfectly poised employees who are ready to serve ( and to BE served 😀) doing business here for all my bedroom ( and clothing ) needs is always thehighlight of my week.

The Neo-Noir I got to see after it went through new management is much more sleek and comfortable to navigate their selection. It recently changed ownership and is now ran by POC, Vet, and LGBTQ+ peeps which I personally appreciate.The majority of their leather garments are unique pieces. Toy selection is pretty well varied in quality from basic, but good toys to custom pieces (some local) that are stellar quality.

Coming out of the pandemic (hopefully), Noir Leather has done a great make over, rearranging the store for better flow. Under new management, they are currently restocking their inventory and getting new items; some larger sizes. I was there a few weeks ago and the sales staff was busily assisting customers, helping them find items and making recommendations. I look forward to their continued improvement.

This place has some of the most unique items you never thought you would have needed. The costumer service is perfect most of the staff is well versed in the products they sell and will give you useful advice on how to use them. Trust me when I say you’ll never be disappointed with what they have in store here and it’s very very lgbtq+ friendly.

This is the best shopping experience ever! Live shows inside, and support of local artists constantly. In depth talks about safety and aftercare, and the best selection around this area! And they will order things special for you too! Thank you Noir and Lady Pain for keeping everyones bedroom activities fun and new and exciting! We will be back!

I havent been here in years and although I love my 7 year old noir leather tank top, I wanted another one and yes I found one! The new owner was awesome, everyone in the store was awesome and Im so grateful to still find that old school merch! I also like that the front of the store was all ages. I was able to bring my daughter in and show her all the cool clothes and jewelry..Thanks for more memories!

I love this place! I live out of state but everytime I go out in a piece that I bought from this place people always ask OH MY GOD WHERE DID YOUR GET THIS?!, And I always tell them Noir Leather.They do ship out of state, but the experience of shopping at Noir Leather is why its so special. Talking with the experienced and outgoing staff and essentially taking a sneak peak into the Detroit underground scene thats been around for decades is what to expect everytime you go in.The original owner made the right decision handing it down to an experienced and well known figure in the Detroit Fetish scene. The Infamous Lady Pain has been working there for years before gaining ownership, but has done a fantastic job running and reviving the store we all know and love.I always visit Noir Leather. The whole downtown area is good place, but Noir Leather makes it great.

Really neat store! Plenty of stuff for the leather fanatic and those with a more unique sense of style. They have a quite large adults only section too, for a wide variety of people of different interests! The woman working there said they change alot of the stuff they carry there pretty often so Ill have to be back to check things out again in the near future!

I love visiting this shop when Im in the D!This store is small but has many unique and often locally crafted items to choose from.I have bought a few pieces of clothing from here and have never been disappointed.Be prepared to pay a little more for the quality, this is not a store filled with cheap Chinese goods, but I appreciate that.My one complaint (more of a suggestion really) is a good portion of the store is dedicated to adult novelty items, I think that space could be better served giving room to more unique clothing and accessories for those of us into alternative lifestyles. There are plenty of other stores to buy bedroom gadgets. I shop here for to stuff you cant find in other stores.I took off one star for this just to draw attention to my review, but this store deserves all 5.The clerks here are very friendly, helpful and non judgemental.Be prepared to spend at least an hour here.Cant wait to come back and check out their selection the next time Im in the neighborhood!

I love going to this place. And its always funny getting greeted here because we never get the greeter or cashier. And I love how the employees now all the products and have a story attach to all them. All together if you are a couple and want to have some true fun go here. One of the only remaining stores from when Royal Oak was still a hip place to hang out. Lots of unique clothing, accessories, and adult novelties that cant be found anywhere else. Plus, the staff is super helpful.

They do not adhere to their business hours and will randomly close 3+ hours early for no reason. They also dont answer the phone so theres no way to guess what mystery hours they decide to have that day.

Great alternative shop back room (adult area) has a good selection of toys and stuff to spice up the bedroom. The front part of the shop has a wide selection if alternative fashion brands mostly catering to smaller sizes but you can find the occasional XL. They carry a decent selection if the brands jawbreak, killstar, and tripp. Shoe options very and limited in size options. There is jewelry, hair dye, inscents, canes, hats, ect. Staff has always been helpful. Only down side is trying to find decent parking in downtown royal oak but this shop is worth dealing with that struggle and really work the walk. 110%love Noir Leather

Yesss all of the fetish wear. Seems to tailor to petite women 😥 has gear and abstract stuff like you see on TV thats not in softer places like Lovers Lane. Definitely A MUST go-to for fetish gear for photoshoots or that grunge goth esthetic.

The customer service was great. That gentalman who helped me was very knowledgable about the products, common usage, and provided personal experience with recommendations. They also had locally sourced leather wear with a lifetime warranty on the work.

THIS PLACE LIED TO ME After calling them 3 times and asking if they had pleather or leather pants for men, I was told yes we have a large selection. I even asked if they had my size 34/32 and they assured that they did, and in several styles. When I got there, after a 45 minute drive, I found they only had 3 pair of nastly looking 48 size waist latex garbage and 3 pair of 28 waist womens. I asked the brain dead staff why they lied to me and got snooty answers. Trashy staff, trashy store.
