Love shopping here. Im able to get everything I need in one place at reasonable prices. The app is super useful for finding coupons and I especially love the shop and scan feature. I use my own grocery bags and being able to scan, pay, and bag at my car is nice.

I have to admit that putting a review like this bothers me but I was so disappointed in the behavior of a management team member named Timothy J this evening at this location. There was some question on the price of some body wash, and he checked it out and said no it wasn’t on sale. I said, no problem, just refund me, but so you know the way it is marked it is misleading and it may confuse some customers. He was profoundly rude at that time and said listen the associate read me what it said and that’s all it said so this is what it is. I said that I totally understand and I’m not looking for anything from you I just wanted you to know it is labeled really poorly so it can be corrected. He threw my receipt at me and snickered. I wasn’t upset at all with the situation and was trying to point out that they may want to fix it. It was just very unkind of him when I was trying to make his job easier. I won’t come back to this location again.

Live Meijers. Except Check out! Only 2 registers open both full of shoppers, then self check. Most of us in lines had 20+ things. About 3 or 4 observers wearing Meijer uniforms...Really? Someone forgot there ARE other choices...

Just an okay shopping place if you need to grab something quick

This was my first time there. Saw on line where what I wanted would.be located. Imagine my surprise to find each department has its own number system. Food aisles are clearly marked. Home supplies have tiny markings hidden by end displays. It all makes sense when you figure it out, but, frustrating for the newbee. Good fresh produce. Huge selection and everything you could want in one store. Prices are reasonable as well.

We were given a gift card that apparently was demagnitized. The first time we tried to use it at self checkout the lady working at around 10 PM made us feel as though we were stealing, stating only cards with no money on them dont work. We ended up paying with our debit card. The second time, overnight clerk Alex knew what to do right away. He rang us up at a regular register and manually typed in the gift card number. He told us they would need to do this every time we used the card. Great service! About 10 minutes ago we attempted to use the gift card for the last time. We approached leader Cheryl B. and several other front end associates about the matter. We explained the situation to them and they immediately shot us down stating the only way to do it was with customer service. Cheryl did not speak. We explained we had been through this several times already and Alex told us it would only work when manually entered at a regular register. They insisted we were wrong and forced us to ring everything up. The associate told us we came at the wrong time and needed customer service. This is when I asked for a manager. Cheryl B. came over and was VERY rude. We already were having a bad experience and she made it worse responding very rudely when she asked what we needed. She brought us over to a register and completed the purchase. If she had known how to do this the entire time, why have us go through this entire charade? She did not smile and did not wish us a good night. She was cold and even came off combative when I suggested Alex knew what to do because he works the overnight shift and has to resolve issues on his own. Never buying another gift card from you guys again.

Meijers helps if you are unable to find an item and will offer to carry a heavy item.

Store was great when it opened but sadly has gone downhill fast...

The produce area are always fresh and the Sushi bar is one of the best in town. Try the Pink Party (12 salmon sushi). Very good. Super complete market.

Very clean and well organized. Everything was well stocked and easy to find once you get a hang of the layout 10/10 would recommend.

I shopped here 1,000 times in about a 2 year span! Everyone here was so great to me! I would name drop but I dont want to leave anyone out. Deli, stockers, customer service desk, everyone here had gone above and beyond for me at some point in time. Even though Its a little more costly then Walmart I stopped shopping there and came here because of how great they were. If you think someone here is rude, you get what you give. Everyone here is terrific. Will miss you guys, thanks for making it an enjoyable experience for me. And also shoutout to the shipt shoppers!

I was going home from a friends house and I noticed that I needed gas. Meijer was advertising a good price so I stopped for gas ⛽ there. After filling up I went inside to use the bathroom. The store and bathroom were clean and well supplied.

I love Meijer their 10 for 10 sale is great I can stock up on items that I really like and their fruit is amazing

Just shopped here with the Flashfood app. The lady in customer service was very helpful in explaining how that works. Pretty awesome!

Found everything I needed. Was surprised that I had $5 to apply in mperks. Today was a good shopping day!

Has a decent selection with some products not sold at other grocers. Relatively clean location, but their app sucks and finding certain products is EXTREMELY difficult.

Went specifically for my Covid-19 vaccine shot there as they accommodate walk-ins! Some locations only have by appointment only. Surprisingly easy with short wait before and after.

The lack of human interaction, the demise of its cashiers in human form, and with all the money I spend here, I now have to scan and bag my desired purchases. Keep screwing and eliminating jobs for corporate greed. No more Meijers.

Store was clean, organized, and well-staffed for a late Sunday afternoon. Its pretty impressive because I cant say the same thing about other big-box stores. The selection was above average and the process for checkout was fast. They even have self-checkout lanes. Id visit here more often if I didnt live so far.

Great sells. But check out was very slow.

Pricing in produce dept is very confusing & hard to read. The pricing above is not always over or near the item. No one to help so I just gave up & went to Jewel.

Meijer is my go to place for grilling and I like my barbeque. I never have a problem finding quality cuts of whatever my choice is that day. Today was sirloin and ribeye and it did not disappoint. They might not always be the cheapest but Ill live.

The people when I came in I was greeted very nice. I went to customer service to return a board game yesterday and the customer service lady was absolutely rude. She got nasty with me and told me just because I don’t like something I cannot return it....hmmm doesn’t make sense because if someone didn’t like a shirt they could return it. I had a receipt and everything.

1st pickup order - order was ready ahead of time. (Ordered last nite for 10 am pickup) Good selection on web site, good produce, good deli choices. Order filled with 2 substitutions (35 items ordered) Convenient pickup area. Friendly efficient associate loading items with care. I did receive 2 items I did not order (not charged to my card) Overall good experience. 😷🌞

They are my go to store. The store is clean, well stocked and they have a great selection. Their staff is friendly and very helpful. Their prices are reasonable and I love their MPerks rewards program! You can clip coupons right onto your account as well as earn rewards just for shopping and theres always Meijers perks. I got this bottle of hand sanitizer for free ($8.99) with one of their MPerks coupons. I also got an additional $18 off with rewards and coupons plus what I saved on their sales items. Cant beat that. Thanks Meijer!! 👍

Do not go off of the online website saying that you can pickup in store it is far from accurate I drove specifically to this location because the online catalog stated that all items I was looking for were in stock at this specific location and I get there and Nothing was in stock and I ask an employee to see if maybe it hadnt been replenished on the sales floor and she stated that if its not out they dont have it.

Great place to shop and usually have what I need. Also have pick up options available. Staff is very friendly and helpful

This store is always clean. Tha staff are always nice and willing help. There are always people sanitizing the store after people walk away from any items. I must also give a shout out to the cart collector guys. One day I arrived to the store with my F350, and the parking spot that I was trying to get into had the cart coral,One of the the guys saw that and he ran upto it and pulled it out of the spot just so that I could fit. The best store, never had this happened anywhere else......

Store looked clean and well organized. Good selections. Also great variety of alcohol (impressed with more top shelf whiskey) very pleased.

Mostly use Pharmacy and gas station. Some store prices can be higher or lower then other stores. You just have to know your prices. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Pharmacy staff in my opinion go above and beyond, the pharmacy staff truly provide a true customer service.

Generally i like the store and prices.i would rate higher but the wait to checking out is what brought it down. You generate a lot of business but to keep your customers 5 to 6 deep in checkout says it all

The butchers use to be great but someone up in corporate decided to ruin it. They no longer pre package their own ground beef and when I went up to the deli at 230pm they said no more for today try tomorrowThis is completely unacceptable and I will no longer bring my business to meijers anymore.**Update** I talked with corporate office and since then the butcher meat department has improved greatly and almost back to how it was and how it should be. Thank you and now I can continue to shop there.

Very relaxed shopping experience. Background music is a mix of classic rock and pop. Staff is very friendly. We are regular customers.

My first time at this store ever!! They have everying from home decor & goods, food, restaurant, eye doctor, veterinary service lol . Great prices better then Wal-Mart on food prices. My only issue I didnt like was if you have to many items for self register got to wait your waiting .

They have a good selection. BUT....No one to ever check you out. If I wanted to bag my own I would open my own store.

I wish there was a Meijer nearer to Vernon Hills. Always my favorite place to go for grocery and pharmacy goods. Wide aisles, great selection, great prices. Lots of great sales all the time as well. Always friendly and efficient staff.

My 1st time in any Meijer and was not disappointed the prices were very reasonable. I went in to spend 20.00 and ended up spending almost 65. I not only got what I needed but so much more. There service was awesome 👌 👏 😎. THANK YOU

Prices too high. Items can be bought at other stores much cheaper.. didnt buy anything in the store today. N one woman no mask.But it was clean n sales people were friendly. I will go back after Christmas for sales. They do have good sales.

Every time Ive been to Meijer, there has been several people who do not wear masks freely roam the store. and none of the employees enforce the mask requirement. I will do my absolute best to no longer come to this store since they clearly do not care about the health of their customers.

Its true. I did give the place five stars before. I had to edit my review. I did see 2 people in the store without a mask on and no one said anything to him. He was there roaming around for a good 45 mins and when my daughter and I went to check out he was at in a checkout line behind 4 people. I was standing helping the cashier with the bags and putting them in the cart. I looked up and he was still in the line waiting to be checked out by one of the cashiers. Now mind you that I seen two ladies walk in, one did not have a mask on but she had it in her hand and must have forgot to put it on as she was talking to the other customers she was with and one of the workers went up to her and said something to her. I seen that the lady put on the mask. But they let this man walk all over the store without a mask and checked out with a cashier without it too. I cant go back there nor let my love one go back until the store manager inforced the rules to everyone

I like this store alot! I could spend a couple hours here just browsing through all the different departments! They have always been polite and you never wait too long to get checked out. Their produce always looks and smells delish! Check them out next time you go buy, you wont be disappointed.

We typically do not shop at Meijer. We were looking for some items that other grocery stores (e.g. Jewel, Sunset) do not have in stock. Once again, we found most of what we were looking for. However, what really impressed us was how friendly and helpful were the staff. The store wasnt that busy, but nevertheless several employees went out of their way to ask if we needed assistance. Are all Meijer stores like this? Dont know. I can say that this one (Round Lake Beach, IL) gets high marks from us.

This is my favorite store to shop at!!! They have a large selection of just about everything at reasonable prices. Their produce is fresh. The aisles are large, so you dont feel like youre too close to other shoppers (which is a big problem at other retailers), not to mention that they have plenty of parking. They also have a rewards program with coupons & discounts. You should check them out!
