We were pulling our camper to the Grand Canyon when our trucks power steering pump went out. We called five local shops, all were sympathetic but over booked and unable to help us. Mark was booked but able to make time to replace the pump and get us back on the road the next day.Vacation saved!!Mark and everyone at his shop were professional and dedicated to getting our truck repaired. Mark was very upfront about not being able to look at my truck the day I dropped it off. Thats fine, I said. Then, after the weekend was over, I got a phone call telling me all was well and come get the truck. I was worried at first, because I asked to get a call before any work was done. However, when I got there he told me to drive the truck for a couple of days and bring it back if it wasnt fixed, and if it was to come back in a few days to pay for the work. I drove to Carlsbad and back, twice, with no problems. I went back to pay Mark, and it was EXTREMELY reasonable. Just some loose wires or something, plus some fuel for test driving. I cannot describe how impressed I am! It is so hard to find an honest mechanic, especially at dealerships, especially when you travel for work and are always having work done away from home.

I cant say enough good about Mark and his employees who fit me in and get me back on the road.

Exceptionally ethical and intelligent. I was driving to Arizona from Nebraska and felt too much play in my steering. I went to Lewis and they diagnosed the problem and were honest in stating there was a better shop for the job. They called the other shop and I got in, fixed and on the road again. Lewis charged me nothing for the diagnosis.

Recommended by guys at work who live in Roswell... Ive been to a local ex-Ford master mechanics shop and the local Ford Dealer with over 5K in work over last year on same problem (Fuel system- 4 Fuel pumps replaced). Mr. Lewis and crew went beyond what I expected and what I have received elsewhere in addressing the problem, fixed it and told me why the problem existed (they found what I requested of from Ford and that shop was too lazy to do). I will gladly tow my truck in again from Artesia to this shop for their quality of work. Highly recommended and they have another loyal customer.

Finding a good honest mechanic is hard but look no further. These guys are busy but if they get you in your car will get fixed correctly.

Im usually pretty critical of customer service but these guys were AWESOME. Very knowledgeable and thorough. They certainly went the extra mile to help me and I really dont think I was charged enough for their time.
