Never shop here, long lines, NO ONE is happy that works here. This place is terrible. Only quick lanes are open, long lines down the aisles. and only have the option of credit cards. Manager was not helpful for me when I had an issue with a gift card saying Take that up with Amazon. If there were negative stars I would have given them a hundred. Never shop here.
I would give this store zero stars if it were an option. One is being gracious. Ive only shopped at this location and both times there was such a huge inconvenience and headache involved. The first time was placing a quick list order. They had me wait an additional 40 min in the parking lot because it was not completed. Then had me go inside to swipe my card because their tablet went down and supposedly the first charge they swiped my card for didnt go through. Well it had and I was charged $140 twice. It took multiple calls and going to see the manager to get my money returned 3 weeks later.Against my better judgement I gave this store another chance as my normal location could not accommodate my order for the Fried Chicken due to lack of staff.I called 2 days in advance for a 75 piece chicken order. I volunteered for my sons Team dinner at the High School. Feeding 45 students and coaches.Pickup was scheduled for Thursday Oct 14th at 3:15I arrived at 3:30 and nobody even started the order and all the supposed manager said was he was busy in the cooler and nobody told him.I was practically in tears as I now had a dilemma.45 people to feed at 3:45 and no food.Just pasta I made as a side dish which would not cut it. I had to call Little Ceasars to order 20 PizzasWhich cost much more and made me arrive late to the function. Not even a Im sorry. So ridiculous.I will not be returning.
The lines are always long.. even in self check out and you can’t use cash. Super inconvenient!! Also, they have pre packaged moldy vegetables to purchase and if you’re in a hurry and don’t check, they want you to go back in and wait in another line to either exchange or get your money back. I didn’t notice til another customer told me my grocery bag was leaking. I am done with this place! Lost money and wasted my time
Do NOT but the discounted Dos Equis there is something very wrong with it, it tastes like death
Used to buy the Boor’s Head deli meat. I would get the meat from the pre packaged cooler at the end of the counter. They never seal the package, they just fold the edges over and slap the label on it. Not very hygienic. But if you ask someone to slice some they’re always busy doing something else. I’ll go to Savagio’s.
Hey I got an idea, lets encourage people to play with their phones while shopping with digital coupons. Like we need more reasons for people to walk around with their phones in their faces!!!
My favorite Kroger! Huge store with huge selections. Plus they got a Starbucks! 🧋
I enjoy this store. The managers do not seem to care much about customer engagement but they are always on the floor. Every cashier so have had, along with their courtesy clerk have been very nice. The store is always clean. The store can be messy at times and unorganized but they always have the items I need ins rock and their food is always fresh. Amazing store. I come here 2+ times a week.
This kroger never has what i want. Waste of my time
Great place. Vast offerings. To Chelsea, masks are required. Excluding those with medical conditions which prevent wearing a mask. Yes, the manager has to accept the mask less persons reason, IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO FORCE PROOF OF MEDICAL HISTORY. Now, you wear yours, or shop elsewhere.
I will never come to this Kroger again! Money service counter closed at 5:30pm on a Friday? Not a place where you can get your shopping AND business done obviously. Its only 6pm by the way 🙄 went right across the street to the Meijer. Theres stay open till 10pm
The worst place to shop, the only place that has longer lines to checkout is Meijer across the street.
Staff isnt friendly at all. Staffs attitudes arent the only thing that needs to be cleaned up here.
This review isn’t for Kroger, it is for the Starbucks located inside of this store. The barista who served us did not give us a good experience here, she made a few of our drinks wrong and had an attitude when she went to remake them, she was throwing objects behind the counter, and made our drinks slow. As a former barista, that is not okay and I feel like the barista needs more training. I will not be returning, however, Kroger’s is a great grocery store to shop at and I will be returning to shop at Kroger’s, just not at the Starbucks located in their building.
Pro Tip: customers that cant find a cart either leave or buy less. This place keeps declining
No cashiers! Only 2 lanes and u-scan open. Lines to the back of the store. Its not fair to the cashiers that are there or to the customers.
If you dont take cash then you lost my business!
This WAS the best Kroger in the area... Returnable area closed and it took 5, YES 5, employees to tell us it closes from 12-1 everyday. How about a sign with the hours on it!
It was easy to find what you need
I drive to krogers far and wide for yall to still not have the items i want in stock. I hate this kroger in particular
At least one of your managers here is not well-versed on disability laws. Upon reporting mask-less shoppers who were putting your other customers and employees at risk, the manager accepted their excuse of having a medical condition and continued to allow them to shop without a face covering. The ADA laws cite that you have to provide reasonable accommodations (i.e. curbside pickup) but do not have to put everyone else in harms way. I hope none of your employees fall ill after the holidays because of your negligent disregard for their health for the sake of customer satisfaction. In my eyes, you are just as at fault for the continuation of this pandemic as they are by not enforcing state mandates.
Routinely they are understaffed at night and paying with cash is not an option, some people still like using cash and not being force to swipe a card.
Made appointment for covid test, when I got there was told they are out, been out, but still accepting appointments?
COVID-19 vaccine it went smoothly
Always have 1 door closed because of the mask requirements so stupid.
Barely ever restocks and always has items listed on sale prices that are no longer on sale basically like stealing if I decide that Im going to pay a few dollars less than what it costs at checkout theyll send security to have a talk with me but if they decide to charge a few more of extra dollars I can either put it back and deal with it or just pay the extra money
Long lines, no product. Store is a complete mess. 1 cashier open with a line down the isle.
Ive shopped at this location for years and never had any problems until this morning around 9:30am. I went to customer service to return an item that was expired. A guy man Jonathan was very rude during the process. As much as like Kroger rude customer is not acceptable, I didnt do anything for him to have an attitude towards me. This location is a good store but itll be better without employees that give poor customer service such as Johnathan.
Dont ever work for them
This store shorted me on several items of my pick up order. Of course, I didn’t figure it out till I got home. I don’t live close to this location but pu here often bc they usually have what I want without substitutions. I called and spoke to someone right away and she said she would let the manager know. She couldn’t get off the phone fast enough. Three days later no phone call no credit for my missing items. I emailed the company and nothing back. I tried calling the store and they don’t answer the phone. This is terrible service. And I am out $60. I cook a lot and spend ALOT of money at Kroger. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Walmart has free home delivery and cheaper prices. I’ll try them.
This place has gone down hill so badly over the past several months. Pandemic aside...The curbside workers are so incredibly slow. Forget about curbside delivery if you have even a loosely based schedule to keep. Items will be marked unavailable or out of stock. However, if you go inside the items are in stock! Unacceptable. Inside you will see workers sitting around playing on their phones when the bottle returnables need to be changed out. Excessively rude workers when you ask for assistance. I am so sad that this location has gone down hill like this. When it first opened it was the place to be. Now...I will drive out of my way to avoid this location at all costs. I feel management has hired the lowest of the low to compensate for corporate decisions regarding current / previous employees.
Rarely have all items I need. Plus their app only works on newer phones when it feels like it. Its a hit or miss. 😕
It consistently takes 15-20 minutes to receive your order after checking in for order pickup. They also call 30 minutes before your pickup window to advise it wont be ready that night or will be ready late. Its not the staffs fault. I am sure they are over worked. This is a reflection of management and staffing.
Well stocked, not too crowded and check out went quick.
I’ve tried being patient. Originally booked a pickup for 10am, before I left I received a call that it wouldn’t be ready until 1-2pm. I arrive at 2pm to give extra time. It’s 3:15pm and I am still waiting in line for my curbside pick up. I’m not blaming the staff, but I do blame their pickup system or corporate for deciding that they should have x amount of spots when they clearly cannot. It’s unacceptable that I’ve dedicated my entire day to a pickup order. This is the first time back at this Kroger after numerous other bad visits. I will stick to other Kroger’s that are much more efficient and timely.
This store is letting people shop with out masks. I just saw 2 individuals at 2 separate points in the store with out masks. Not even having masks, but pulled down. No masks whatsoever. Disappointing. This puts your staff and customers at risk.
Bottle return...again...put up a sign to say when you’re opening back up or even better stick your head out the door and tell the ever growing line how long you’re going to take.Never shopping here again. The manager was rude, could not or would not recognize that it is RUDE not to communicate with your waiting customers who are standing out in the cold. Also, stop using Covid as an excuse to be slow and discourteous! Ridiculous people.
Best Kroger in the area. Super busy every time I go in there so just about every time I go in there they are out of at least one thing Im there for and the lines are usually pretty long. As long as you know that going in you will not be disappointed. Their Click List is great too.
My favorite Kroger to shop at!
This Kroger is always great. Always stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables. They always have what I am looking for. The staff is always helpful and very friendly. This is my favorite Krogers location by far. I travel to this location on the weekend to shop and it is over 20 minutes away from my home, it is closer where I work. I absolutely love love love this location.
I would have provided this place a 4 star because I love coming here. But the cashier Marilynn always has a bad attitude. I made a mistake and had her scan the wrong Kroger barcode and asked if she could void the transaction and scan the correct barcode, Marilynn was not having it. She rolled her eyes at me and proceeded to tell me that I needed to make sure I had the correct barcode the first time. We had a few back and fourth until she stated that she will contact her manager. Nice Charlene came and handled the situation like a professional. As Charlene was helping me marilynn proceeded to continue to insult me by saying that I should take a job as a bagger. I am a supervisor in a very important job market and I know what exceptional customer service intel’s. Marilynn does not exemplify that. She is making Kroger look bad and she needs to retire within the next year because you can tell she does not want to be there.
Bad experience on 12/11/2020. Was there around 12:07 pm to cash in $200 lottery ticket and no was at customer service. I asked Alba was there someone available to cash my ticket? She says no customer service has been closed for a few days. So I took my $200 ticket meijers, I had NO issues cashing out there.
This place is very nice. It has a Whole Food vibe for less. They have a service where they do the shopping for you. 💃 Simply place the order and at your convenience, park in the designated area and the staff will bring your groceries to your car. Can you imagine the time saved? The place is clean, the food is fresh, the lines are okay... wait time depends on the cashier but you can self check. Stop by once, you wont regret it.
Like the store but the deli department has one speed and its slow typically waiting 30 minutes or more
Nice environment! Staff were very respectful and helpful! Good prices on everyday needs!! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bargain in a good clean environment
The worst customer service ever! Called to ask a simple question about bottle returns and the lady who answered the phone just simply hung up on me! I will never go to this Kroger again. And if you don’t like your job then quit! You can be lazy all you want at home! Stupid idiot!
Selection and cleanliness of store was okay but I’ve been in line to put money on a debit card for every bit of 20 minutes. There was only one associate working and she seemed to be confused on what she was doing. Help should always be called IMMEDIATELY when there’s a line of 3 or more.
The credit cards going down on Christmas Eve bothered me, but what made me leave the store was your employee and how they handled the situation. Their attitude was unacceptable and there needs to be some serious coaching conversations about how to handle an issue.Updated 1/17/20So twice in the last three weeks I have food items clearly marked with sale prices ring up wrong and I have to go take a picture because I’m obviously lying seriously who is managing this store and why are you bringing out my inner Karen. I’m not even being picky I just want your items labeled right, I want your machines to work, and I want your employees to not act like I’m an inconvenience. Sorry you’re a 50 year old cashier/bagger. Don’t be rude to me, because I’m not rude to you.
I was at this store today. WAY too many shoppers, people without masks and many just ignoring the one-way aisles. A man right in front of me coughing and not wearing a mask. Management needs to step up and enforce the rules or don’t bother making any. I felt very unsafe and got out of there fast!☹️
It has a huge produce department. The deli is limited. There is cooked food to go or eat there. Starbucks is nice. The people who work at the Starbucks are very nice and know their customers orders by heart. That is nice, too. Wine selection is good. There is a large organic/natural food section.
I get better quality of food and great deals than any other grocery store. I like to shop at Kroger for healthier options and more choices.
This is the nicest Kroger I have ever been to. They have an excellent selection of fresh produce and a large organic food section. They offer free samples at the deli which is nice and they have a place to get hot sandwiches. The pharmacy is quick and sends you a text when your prescription is ready. The store is well lit and the associates are friendly.
Deli employee is rude
I absolutely love this Kroger. The produce is always stocked and fresh, along with all the rest of the shelves. The staff is helpful and friendly. Im actually writing this review because my experience yesterday at the meat counter. Robert and Juan are do friendly, helpful and fun to interact with. I love going places where people treat customers with that type of attitude rather then the usual bad mood employee. Thanks again Robert and Juan!
This is a nice Kroger. I prefer this one over the one that is closer to me at 9 mile and Mack area. I have heard that Kroger is going to build one of those nice beautiful stores at 9 mile and Harper when Kmart is closed. If that is true, l will be a happy customer.
This store has many of the selections offered at the previous location. The olive/salad bar is one of my favorite features. There is a Starbucks at this location for the coffee drinkers also. The shelves are typically well stocked. My only issue is trying to get used to the stores floor plan. I feel like some of the featured items are scattered and much harder to locate than at some of the other area locations.
Always a good experience at the 13 Mile location. If you ask for an item, the associate will stop what they are doing and walk you to it. Cashiers are pleasant. Bags are packed properly. Much improved over old location.
There are employees that are not wearing a mask, mangagent doesnt care about there customers or employees health.
This Kroger always have fresh fruit in stock and on sale and many other quality items. I have been to many Kroger’s, but this one is my favorite. Easy to find items and maneuver in the store.
This is one of the cleanest and nicest krogers that I have experienced. I love the wide variety of groceries. They cater to many demographics and carry many Specialty products
The new store is very nice. We will give it a few tries to be comfortable. My husband and I like thewider isles, although the shelves seem high for our senior shoppers. We are disappointed in thelocation of the Red Box Movie Rental Unit. There is no protection from the cold weather and yourback is toward the parking lot. Relocating it would enable users to be aware of their surroundings whilechoosing a movie and making payments.
Always clean, always organized. Everything youd expect from a grocery store. Ive never had any spoiled or otherwise bad food. Staff is friendly. I love scanning my Kroger Plus card at the end of ringing my order up to see all the savings i get.
Staff is always friendly..they always acknowledge me by saying hi while Im shopping, even the employees stocking shelves and they almost always ask if you need help if they see you looking for a while and if they dont and you ask; they will help you, even if they have to stop what they are doing and walk 5 aisles over to show you. Even the customers have been very friendly and helpful as well. All around great atmosphere and store. I shop here at all times.
A few friendly people willing to help. Customer service people extremely rude and literally hang up on you or if in person just walk away with an attitude. If you dont like your job, quit and give it to someone will appreciate it.Doesnt usually have items in stock.
Nice large store with a lot of variety. The associates are nice, grocery/gm people dont offer much assistance but service counter associates are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and there are always carts in the vestibules.
Bait n switch happens nearly every week.If they have a great sale you can be guaranteed they only had a few items in and will not give you a rain check because it says “while supplies last“ then they try to get you to buy the Kroger brand.NO THANKS,Meier is right across the street!
It is the largest grocery store ever. They have a great variety of items. The Organic section is quite good. They sell so many non food items that you can do all your shopping in one spot. Dishes, kitchen utensils, hair and nail care, bath and body. They also have a Starbucks inside the store, full service deli that can make u lunch to eat in store. A Mediterranean bar, Latin Foods, largest seafood section, bakery, larger pet section than Meijer across the street. You just have to see this place to believe it.
Ive never been to this Kroger and wont be back. Had 2 valid coupons for cat litter. The lady (white lady) looked at me (black lady) before she even looked at the coupon and said they dont accept them. I asked her to show me evidence of that statement. So she goes to a binder and starts flipping through things. She found some invalid coupons, but mines wasnt on there. But she still proceeded to say she will only take one. Went to the store guest services, and the guest service lady said she would take the coupon but she didnt want to go against the white lady who was her boss of customer service. Talked to the store manager and he couldnt figure out the problem as well. So he wanted to speak with her. Had I not had to leave and go pick up my grandmother, I would have stayed. But I had already waited around for 15 minutes which makes no sense.
Tons of food choices here, however, I never seem to find the things I actually need.Theres tons of fresh food, salad bar, deli, soup bar, and even a Starbucks.I dont like shopping here because I feel theres too much in one place and I end up spending way more than I should.
Don’t bother to use the Kroger checklist at this location. My first time the picked the worst produce possible to give me. So I returned it to guest services and he even said it was the poorest and largest amount of bad produce he’s seen, but all he did was give me my money back. No compensation for having to come back to the store to return it. So I will no longer shop there at all. I will go to Meijer across the street. Great job providing such poor service that you are losing a customer due to guest service and click list!
This place cracks me up. On the east side of the store is a Starbucks, sushi, organic foods, samples, people in uniforms behind counters looking like caterers at a rich kids arranged wedding. The other half of the store is like an American grocery store from the seventies--full of processed factory- fresh food products priced to sell!
I shop here often however it was my first time doing the click it pick up. It was convenient and the young lady was polite and quick about the process.they also picked out good meat which I wasnt expecting.(we will see what happens next time) try out the click it online shopping for Kroger! Its worth it!!!
Its 530 pm, the after work rush and there are only 2 cashiers open . Give me a break
Large new Kroger with great selection of items, including organics. The cakes have never disappointed. The staff are always friendly. Open late every night. Motorized ride along carts for those needing assistance, and miniature carts for their little ones. There is also a Redboox outside in front of the store.
I wish I didnt have to download the products on my card. It takes a long time to go through that. I would rather spend my time looking at the sale paper making my list. Its big, clean and very well organized.
Nice new building but price is too high on many items.
Nice new store. It is to big in my opinion things are poorly placed so there is a lot of running. Their fried chicken is well priced and good.
You can always find Helpful employee. The manager is wonderful and works along side associates. Large selection of everything and always great sales
Clean friendly store. Great employees. They just need to keep up in the produce section instead of socializing with other employees. It always looks empty😞
Absolutely terrible at keeping things stocked.
Great grocery selection but... beware of the bathrooms. Dirty... Dirty... Dirty.... Smells like roadside outhouse on a hot summer day, after a tour bus traveling from an all-you-can-eat mexican buffet stopped for a bathroom break. You may think this is an exaggeration, but I assure you, it is not. You have been warned.
Love this Kroger but offend find them out of certain products. But good news they always get them back in stock. Employees are always greeting you. Most important they are willing to help. I Loves this kroger.
There were no lanes open at 10 p.m on a Saturday night about 30 people in line for the cash check out! People were leaving and super mad! Really surprised because I really liked this Kroger when it first opened
Its the Saturday following black Friday, around 4 pm and check out didnt take very long. Although the produce section isnt the most intuitive their produce staff was kind, knowledgeable, and happy to help. Prices were close to what youd find at Meijer and the selection was similar with only a few differences. Krogers doesnt have as much hardware, clothing, or home goods. Im glad though, because that means my grocery runs arent spent working around large sections of things I dont need. All in all I will be coming here more often.
Great staff, always willing to help. Great selection and usually quick service in line. Order ahead groceries to pick up. That is an excellent service for families with young children, those with disabilities, and seniors.
This is my main grocery store. I didnt know the self checkout started at 11pm. A clerk station was still lit so i began to unload my groceries on the conveyor belt. A gal came by and informed me that she was done for the night but didnt mind running just one more customer through. I absolutely stopped and insisted that i run through self scan as others were doing, and that it was no problem (had no idea they switch to self scam at 11pm). She insisted back that i had quite a load of groceries, and she would be glad to help. I have always been treated nice here. I would like more options in the ham (Hormel brand), pork (cubed steak), and raw turkey (medallion cut, ground, and. fresh breasts) supply, but this will have to do.
Best Kroger I have been to! Cashiers are friendly and fast. Store is very clean and well set up. They also have the minature buggys for my 3 year old which makes shopping with the kids a little easier.
The employees here are always helpful. Robert in the meat department let me in on a native Alaskan secret to cooking salmon. The best salmon Ive ever eaten. The store is always clean.
Love the meats/products. Always clean inside and outside of store. Prices are a plus
I love this new Kroger! But I must say, I have been in at least 3 different stores over the past month and it seems they all must have staffing problems! I have found produce shelves empty, huge carts of deconstructed boxes blocking isles, empty shelves in certain can good isles, and paper goods as well as advertised items lacking! A little disappointing when you are the major chain in most states!
Awesome new location. Store is clean and well stocked. Great selection of everything. Produce department was neat and well stocked. Staff is friendly. Very nice store.
Watch if you ever need to return or exchange anything at this location!!! Young girl at customer service counter tried to put $4.99 back on my debit card instead of $18.99. Not the 1st time shes done that to me either!! ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT before you leave the counter!! I dont believe her excuse both times either, oh I forgot to re-ring up this item. Not even an apology. Im sure shes got some scam going on with shorting people or over charging them.
Always my go to place. The staff is always friendly. The food is always fresh
I ordered online and the food was packed and delivered on time in great order.
I dont know what they were thinking when they built this Kroger, especially the bottle return. Only 1 machine working, the people in line asked 3 different times to have someone come check the machines. The one kid that originally went to get someone came back and just shook his head. When another person came it took him less than a minute to get all the machines up and running. My cashier had someone with produce and her register couldnt read it. She was trying to get a price check and no one responded. The customer finally gave up and went without his produce. She was doing her best and making sure no one in her line after him had produce. There were no baggers, but lots of people wandering around, sweeping floors, etc. I know its not the employees fault, they are barely making any money, but someone higher up needs to do something about this store. And thankfully this time I was just in for a few items, because most of the time when Im there, many of the things I want are out of stock.
New locations, moved from 13 and Harper. Great location, great atmosphere. Starbucks onsite as well. New layout, but has everything you could need. Nice and friendly employees. Checkout has been quick and painless every time Ive been there.
The management needs to stock items better. It seems they are never prepared for sales & shelves are usually empty when trying to find items. They’ve recently moved around some sections of the store. In my opinion, I don’t want to see cat litter next to bread. I don’t know who came up with this new layout. I have been nothing but disappointed since this new store opened.
Waited over 20 minutes to get any assistance at a malfunctioning lotto dispenser. No sorry, just a response of I dont have a key then once I finally got assistance another customer got my 20$ lotto ticket. Nothing offered to compensate my now 30 minutes of time wasted, I even had to walk over to customer service in order to get any assistance from your management. Unacceptable in my opinion. If you are unable to access your machines at all times, then they shouldnt be in service. That is not fair to your customers...
Good produce, their sushi is great, and a good selection at this location. Only gripe is that the shelves dont stay stocked like they should. Always out of things that should be stocked...
