Went for a quick oil change. Was greeted by a very professional guy who made me feel welcome and respected. An earlier phone call to them provided me the options and price and duration of the oil change. I was extremely happy to find out that I could bring my favorite brand of oil and filter and they would use it instead of their house brand. I watched as they quickly attended to my vehicle, cleaning up fingerprints, the underside, and more. They did this quickly and professionally. I felt really good about their work. I dont recall having this feeling at any previous service center Ive visited. I typically change my own oil but decided the first change of my new too me 2006 Jeep Commander Limited was going to done by pros. Im very happy with that decision. I would recommend ProTech Automotive for your next oil change. I plan on bringing my vehicle in for some maintenance and will update this reverie with that experience.

This place has always been honest in dealings with me and this visit was no different. I can do repairs on my SUV myself but when I dont have time I trust this shop to do the work. They do what I asked them to do and dont do hard sell on recommended work or any upsells. They went over thoroughly what needed to be done and answer all my probing questions. Very polite and friendly service by all who I dealt with. I feel their prices are reasonable, its very clean and organized which is important to me and they gave me a couple free car washes.

These guys are the real deal. Weve had to do some extensive work on our air conditioner and brakes. They were upfront with cost and expectations. They even went above and beyond to pick up our vehicle. When it was an emergency AC fix they bent over backwards to get us in right away. Theyre always super fast and very thorough. We really love this shop and highly recommend them!

I had some work done that they were transparent about and things went fairly and smoothly. When I came to pick my car up, though, there were dash lights that hadnt previously been on. No techs were on site at the time so I had to work with customer service who was dismissive of my concerns and told me to bring the car back tomorrow. I told them I wouldnt be driving the car away knowing there was an error caused by them. End result was me leaving the car another day, which cost me another day worth of taxi rides, missed work and time spent at the dealership. They took care of it the next day and graciously did the work (error they forgot about, how do you not notice a dash light?) free of charge. The work was fine but Im salty they didnt finish the job right and it cost me extra time and money without any sort of recompense.

I love going here to get my oil change. Its always faster than the dealership. This time, I had a light out in back. I already had the bulb purchased, but hadnt taken the time to figure out how to change it by taking off the inner panel; so they did it for me. :-) Inflated my tires that I neglected during this winters cold snap. Also asked if I wanted my floors vacuumed. All in 30 min. Includes a free cash wash valid for 30 days. Their loyalty program makes my next oil change free! I took my car in to get it aligned and now the steering wheel is off and there seems to be more play in the steering wheel. I would stick with just oil changes there.

Jeff at ProTech is a gem of a person and employee. My engine blew out on my GMC Terrain on one of our sub-zero days due to a known design flaw with the pcv valve, and my warranty company was responsible for replacing the motor with a reman motor. The first motor they sent ProTech was damaged, so Jeff worked with the company to document the damage and sent it back to get a replacement motor. After many days of waiting on a second motor and many, many phone calls Jeff made on my behalf, the warranty company asked Jeff to source out a used motor instead. Jeff requested the manager and called him out for a lack of integrity for promising me a reman motor, then trying to quietly have a used motor installed instead. Jeff sourced the reman motor for the second go around and got it approved by the warranty company. Jeff went to bat for me to make sure I got what was promised and truly embodies the qualities of an honest, ethical and professional service technician. Throughout this frustrating process, Jeff has communicated with me every step of the way. He has gone above and beyond his duties and deserves recognition for his hard work and commitment to providing service with integrity. I highly recommend ProTech if you are looking for a trustworthy, dependable service shop.

It was convenient I dropped my keys off in the morning before they were open in their key drop box I went to work and they called me an hour and a half later and it was done and I picked it up on my lunch break

Summary: ProTech changed my oil, but the technicians did not properly reattach the skid plate. It was only partially attached and came loose while I was driving at 70 MPH on I-35. I had to stop on the interstate, jack my car up, and crawl underneath to completely detach it. Not a safe situation.ProTech repaired the damages, but refused to refund the oil change, even though it is what caused the problem in the first place. They also DID NOT APOLOGIZE and said accidents happen. They also refused to provide any promotions for a free oil change (or anything) to make up for endangering me by doing their job incorrectly. That is not customer service, and its not providing a relationship of trust and integrity (per their mission statement).Full story:Ive been a customer of ProTech for more than a few years, so its unfortunate that I will not be returning for any future oil changes or repairs.I had an oil change completed on October 26th. The technicians did not properly reattach the skid plate (removed to access the drain plug) after completing the oil change. Unfortunately, I found this out while driving 70 miles an hour on the interstate.I took the car back and explained the situation and they replaced the skid plate at no charge to me, as should be expected. Next, I spoke to Cody (a technician) and Jane (the general manager, also Codys mother) and told them it was fortunate that no other damage was done and that their error could have led to worse damage on the car, or even an accident (if the skid plate had come off completely and struck a tire or another car). There was NO apology. They just patted themselves on the back for fixing what they broke.Next, I asked if they would consider refunding the oil change in question as a show of good faith, considering I had to jack my car up on the side of the interstate in order to fully remove the skid plate and fix their error (as it was stuck under the car and was dragging). Jane, the general manager, chuckled at this and said that she could not refund the oil change, because there was no issue with the service. Apparently, picturing me fixing their technicians error was amusing to her.OK, I said - how about a coupon for a free oil change next time? I told them I liked coming to ProTech but that I was upset at the error and that a gesture like that would go a long way towards making things right. They offered me a $10 off coupon and again insisted that they had done everything they could.Next, I asked to speak to an owner or someone higher up than Jane. She referred me to someone named Ryan. According to Janes son Cody (a technician), Ryan was a part owner. That is a lie, it turns out, as Ryan is assistant manager. He toed the same line.The bottom line is that I will not be returning to ProTech with any of my vehicles in the future, because they seem to believe that drawing a line in the sand over a $35 oil change is worth losing all of my future business. Even worse, it was clear from the beginning that they believe it was virtuous of them to repair the damage that they themselves caused, when it fact its quite literally the least that they could have done.The snarky attitude I received from Jane and Cody just made everything worse. It was clear from the beginning that they cared more about a $35 oil change than making things right and keeping a customer happy.

I brought my van there for simple wheel alignment and was quickly quoted $75 which was fare. In about an hour I get a call stating that I need more work done on alignment and it would be around $170. Well, what are you going to do? I just had struts replaced, so that seemed like a reasonable explanation. I gave them a go ahead and 2 hours later they called me saying that the car was ready. I drove the car home and noticed that steering wheel was still off center even though I specifically asked to fix that issue which was caused by misalignment in the first place. I called them the next day and they agreed to take a look at it again. After spending another hour doing additional work they returned the car to me saying it was done. When I got in the car and drove it, the steering wheel was still off center just like before. I dont know whats going on there, but I brought this car there because of good reviews, but it seems like most of these reviews are for simple oil changes... If you need real work done on your car, you better off paying a few extra $$$ at some other shop and get it done right.4/3/2018 - finally just stopped at a Toyota dealer and paid $100 to get things done right. I never went back to this place because I have zero confidence in their skills since they could not make it right the first two times. Dear owner of this shop - if you want to make this right, just refund my money.

I got an oil change at Pro Tech in lakeville. I was greeted by a cute golden retriever that a customer brought in so I knew I was going to like it. Great price and included a car wash and vacuum which was definitely a plus. My car was done in less than 25 minutes and the employees were nice and helpful. They even came to the lobby to show me how dirty my air filter was and only charged my $16 to put a new one in and I found just the air filter on autozone for $20. This is now my go-to spot for an oil change.

I had been going here for at least 3 years for a quick service and for the most part its been great, although recently Ive noticed it really went down hill, they seem to have started hiring kids no older than 16 and these guys dont really seem all that professional, you can see them messing around the shop. Last visit I had motor oil all over my interior, thankfully it was leather and I made them clean it off, but I definitely feel uncomfortable bringing any more of my cars in here.

I love this place. The service is outstanding. We were taking a trip back to Wisconsin the following day and wanted to get an oil change. The wait was minimal. As the tech was driving our car out of the service bay someone noticed one of our brake lights was out. They had the tech stop the car and replaced the bulb on the spot. We had already settled our bill and we asked how much for the bulb replacement and they said no charge. Knowing we were going to be on a road trip this was greatly appreciated.This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.

I appreciate so many things about ProTech - the prompt service, politeness of the staff, thoroughness in their efforts to determine the cause of problems with our vehicles, and a willingness to tell us what does and does not need attending to right away. Ive never felt they tried to sell us on a service that wasnt neccessary. Because of this, Ive recommended them to many of our friends and co-workers. My husband, a former mechanic himself, appreciates the cleanliness and order of the shop. The technicians know what they are doing and readily talk to the clients about the vehicle in a language the customer can understand.

I was recently in a very sticky situation and this shop helped me get through it with grace, an immense amount of honestly, and a lot of integrity.I always want a mechanic that is going to tell me what I need to know and be honest about it. Prices are high, which I don’t mind for good work, but the front counter workers are smug....what’s that about? They don’t apologize when they make mistakes and they sort of giggle like they talk about you before you come back for your car. Is that from being a close knit family owned business or what? I give both of my stars to one guy in the oil shop who is older and very personable. Otherwise, zero stars for the rest of ya. Sorry. Will try again next year maybe. Ya lost the good attitudes when you redecorated the lobby.

Great place to get oil changes and recently had a problem with electric seat adjustment stopped working. I decided to try them in place of the local Chevrolet dealer. I called to see if I could make an appointment, they told me if I could drop off before noon that same day that they could look at it that day, at 3:30 Cody called and gave me a very detailed explanation of the repair and cost, which I thought was very reasonable! I would give Cody and ProTech 10 stars if I could!

ProTech Automotive is the leading automotive repair facility in the south suburban area. We have exclusively entrusted all of our vehicles ever since they opened. I have always been dealt with fairly and honestly even though the news they deliver is not something I wanted to hear. I have never had them charge me more than what was estimated and if a repair is going to take longer than expected they call me quickly, they apologize sincerely, and they tell me what is going on and why. The shop is clean, well organized, and is an asset to the community.

A little spendy for labor on repairs, but they do a good job. I go there mostly for oil changes. These are reasonably priced and there are always coupons available online. They give you a free car wash and vacuum the carpet while they are doing the oil change, which is really nice.
