We went in here looking for ideas for a home work desk. My boyfriend is a hardware engineer and thus needs a larger desk. We went in and werent expecting to find what we were looking for, but they had a desk that was perfect! One of the biggest issues with desks for him is that the larger L shaped desks have a sharp point where the L shape meets and it is difficult for him to get his chair all the way in. The U-shaped desk was perfect. Additionally we had help from an employee there named Blake. He was very friendly and willing to help us. He was knowledgeable when it came to questions regarding the desk and helped us get set up with ordering online. They did have one in the back, but I wasnt sure if the box would fit inside my car (I drive a Toyota Prius Hatchback). Black was able to find a tape measure, measure the box in the back and then measure the space in the hatch. Unfortunately the box was to large so we werent able to take that one home. But! Highly recommend service here - especially if you get to work with Blake. Thanks for all your help!
We moved from the Mesquite Office Depot to the one in Rockwall. The service here is excellent! My items are always printed quickly and the quality is terrific. The staff is very helpful too!
I come in here to print all the time on the self-service printers. But the first time I came in, I had no clue how to use the machine and approached one of the associates who taught me how to use it. Saves me time and money!
Guy with salt and pepper hair at the print counter seemed genuinely bothered that he had to help me!

Regarding Laminating your COVID VACCINATION CARD.They will provide you a laminated COPY free of charge until April 20th or 22nd. So you will have 2 cards walking out the store, 1 laminated the other being the original that is not laminated.Staff is courteous, all three that were in the store. Place is empty, so everything is clean and tidy.
I don’t know about the other reviews but there were nice employees there, I picked up my order in perfect timing and no inconveniences were made.
Customer service is terrible. They need to be more considerate of other people waiting in line. I went to the printing department. All I wanted to do was print a document that I emailed. I stood in line for 30 min waiting on them to help ONE customer in front of me. I’m not saying to stop completely what you are doing but at least ask me what i need and acknowledge the fact I am waiting. While he was handling the customer, my one document could have been printed and I could’ve went to the front to check out. Instead I waited for 30 min and left because it was ridiculous waiting that long to print one document. After five minutes he could’ve said to the customer, “give me one sec let me see what she needs I’ll get right back to you.” That would be more reasonable than letting a customer stand for that long. Do better.

Terrible support.Bought 3 laser printers within a few weeks of each other. 1 of the 3 continually gave problems but because we waited past the “14 day return period for electronics, there is nothing they can do.”I was even willing to take the printer in question at a complete loss & asked for at least a discount on a different brand, making over $ 1200.00 I would have sent on printers with them.... but they also refused any kind of discount to help offset the terrible performance of the trouble printer.I refuse to support businesses that have zero workability with customers. Unless they are my complete last option, Office Depot will not get any more of my money.

I ordered a print online. When I picked it up, It was blurry. Nevin at the that service counter explained to me it was because of the resolution, pixels, and quality of the image I had provided. He proceeds to help me find the image on google and helps me resend it in for closer examination of the image.Nevin gets the image and is able to print my print perfectly.All of this while still helping 1 customer with a thumb drive issue, another with shredding, and an employee with a customer question!All of this was under like 20 minutes.... amazing job!Amazing employee!!Thank you, Nevin!

The print shop customer service location at this place, with the young man that comes in at 3:00 p.m. And is supposed to be the only one that can help you with posters, never seemed to have the energy or concern to help with the customers, particularly myself. After sitting there and following all his instructions then he informs me, O we probably cant get it done today, O we probably cant even get it at this store, O guess I should have told you to just start with....sorry I disturbed your nap, total waste of my time and energy.
Store was almost empty compared to the similar stores. Here I was able to find the things that I wanted with out lots of people blocking the aisles. Prices on a couple of printers that interested me were cheaper than the big stores.
Had to exchange an item I bought online. The cashier and manager were great. I didnt have all of my information, but they were happy to look it up and help me get a better chair mat.

Rockwall, TX Office Depot Store ReviewDUPED AND DUMPED!After purchasing a laptop on Mar 4, 2020 with the extended 2 yr warranty with OFFICE DEPOTS All-State/Square Trade, we were not informed that the Store Warranty was only 14 days. Five weeks after the purchase, the laptop mal-functioned. I couldnt get to a startup screen when I returned home from a brief hospital stay. Id forgotten my password and after several attempts it had blocked me out. Should be a recognized fix with a new startup disk which of course, didnt come with the new laptop.APR 22, 2020 Regarding a my new Lenovo Laptop from Office Depot and their warranty practices... I contacted the store and spoke with the computer tech then the manager, who informed me that since I was over the 14 day Store Warranty, basically there was nothing they could do and they simply washed their hands of the sale. I was not even given assistance or reference to the manufacturers warranty but instead was told Id have to contact All-State for an Extended Warranty claim.After much discussion, the store manager agreed to do a diagnostic but if there was anything that required work it would cost an additional $250min. and they would not take returns nor did they guarantee they could fix the issue on the product they had sold just the month prior. Office Depot must know their products or they wouldnt do business with only offering their 14 day store warranty with no obligation to inform the customer at the time of purchase.The store manager was rude, uncooperative and offered little to no recourse except to tell us it was up to All-State and out of Office Depots hands. What happened to the original product warranty? The Manufacturer cant be reached! The Extended Warranty cant be reached either for support due to COVID-19 and the warranty service is on hold indefinitely.SO BEWARE if you purchase from OFFICE DEPOT-OFFICE MAX, watch out for poor Customer Service AND their inability to stand behind the products they sell.
What a nightmare trying to get prints done at this location.. I couldnt tell if it was understaffed because there were several men gathered up by the registers acting like theyre working when one lady was trying to assist a 1/2 a dozen clients in the printing department not to mention the place look like it hadnt been cleaned in months. This store should be an embarrassment to office depot.
Office Max is a great place to go get supplies that you need for your business or printers,computers, real estate products etc. You name it theyve got almost everything that has to do with starting a business also school supplies for your kids and the periodically though have fantastic sales with real good pricing on out-of-season school products.One other plus is the service center. They provide a lot. I would try them out the next chance you get.

I walked up to the door this evening at 7:04 assuming all retailers stay open until 9 oclock. Realizing what I had done a began reading the door to see if they were open on Easter. Jacob, seeing blueprints in my hand, recalled the phone conversation we had earlier. He came and open the door asking if I just needed a scan to digital copy and offered to assist me since they were already waiting on a few other customers. Many young employees would have ignored someone standing outside their door after close of business.I really appreciate that he didnt!
Waited at the register for 20 mins because no one was there only for them to tell me that they had no TI-84 pluses in stock even though the cards were on the shelf and their website said they were in stock for this location.
I used their printing shop to have spiral binding put on some books. First of all they didn’t have my order ready when promised. They completed it the next day, but did 2 of the books wrong. They “fixed” it by redoing the spirals, but that left holes where it was done incorrectly. So, they damaged my books! Not only did they not replace the books, they didn’t even comp the binding fee that they messed up.
Dont bother making copies here. Self serve sign said 12cents. I made one copy and the paper came out 8 1/2 x 18. I asked for help for the standard size 8 1/2 x 11. The woman who helped said it adjusted. Made another copy and it came out the same size. The sales woman shrugged. I told her i had 33 copies to make and going else where. They charged me 15 cents each for the 2 goofed up copies.
Bought a paper shredder here... it still works well after 3 years. The printer ink here though is just nuts as far as cost... although, they do offer rewards for recycling used ink cartridges
My office spends alot with O.D. I work from home alot and order supplies on our business account to pick up from the Rockwall store. I just had a HORRIBLE experience with the store manager. He first could not get into his system to get my order. Then, I told him I ordered 3 inks, but only 1 was in the bag. He rudely said...then thats all we had. I asked if they got more in. He sarcastically said it wouldnt matter. Uh..what? I need to get my other 2. It had been a few days so I said if he got them in, I want to get them. He sarcastically laughed, grabbed my paperwork and took off. He came back doing other things. He was at the cash register and it wouldnt work and in front of me and other customers shouted Jesus Christ! Then he handed me the paperwork and just said no..we do not have. I asked for a receipt showing what we would be charged. He yelled and said you have it! I said this is for the office and my receipt shows purchasing 3 inks. He hit the packing slip in my hand and said thats it!!! There are no prices. He said Thats what yall get for ordering online and picking up!!! I just said alright and left. I do not have the company cc to buy in person. I have to order and pick up. I will NEVER use the ROCKWALL OFFICE DEPOT again. I have NEVER been treated so rudely. I am an accountant and 60 years old. I was not in business clothes. Did that make a difference? If I can report him, I will. I felt sorry for the employees as they watched this guy. Two came by me and apologized.
I truly don’t know how this place stays in business.The first two times that I went in, my experiences were subpar, to say the least.Yesterday, however, was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back.I found the associate, a young man, who was working in the printing department to be so incredibly rude and offputting, I can’t even believe that I stayed and paid for my order.Quite frankly, and my 50 years of life, he was probably one of the most unprofessional employees that I’ve ever come across.I will absolutely never, ever go in to that store again.In fact, the experience was so horrible, that it prompted me to leave this, my first ever Google review.

If you go for print and copy expect to wait 40 minutes minimum. Called in the morning to verify my order was ready, she said she was working on it and it will be ready at noon. Get there ar 2pm and no one has started it... waited 50 minutes to get my copies made.
The most slow service on printing or lamination, you may get it faster if you order a printer online and then do it yourself. Theu need people. 2 folks per shift. Really?
OK so we tried 3 × to get an 8 by 10 photo printed without any white border. They told me that I would need to resize my photo before that was possible. I told them to stretch it and crop it and I didnt care if part of the picture got cut out. They made 2 more attempts. I very patiently basically begged them to please print my photo the way I needed. All 3 employees seem to be high on some really strong indica. . Lethargic. None of them had pep in their step. Never coming back.

Every time I come here, I get the best customer service from the printing department. They are extremely helpful and always manage to complete my last minute printing jobs. I’ve been coming to this location for more than 2 years. I have tried going to other locations but I always end up at the Rockwall location even if it means driving across town. Today, Rachel went above and beyond by correcting the sloppy job that another location (Dallas - Westchester) attempted to print and cut. I will continue to drive to the Rockwall location because I know that they will get the job completed the right way.Thank you all for always being so helpful.
Terrible rewards program. Went to pick up an order I had forgotten. After 60 days my rewards were cleared from the account. This was a loss of $70!!!! Save your time and shop on Amazon or another retailer that actually cares.Ps - Your prices are over the top to begin with.
Not happy about this experience at all. First I am greeted by 2 employees who offer to help and then tell me to go see her ... She has 8 people waiting. I ask if anyone else can help me and they had that deer in the headlights look. I find a manager.. A manager mind you and ask him for help. The Manager says an employee offs running late and will help me when she gets here. Because I guess he and the other 2 employees doing nothing are too busy to help me. Horrible customer experience.
