As a woman, I occasionally feel intimidated by auto places--anything from auto shops to oil change places. But I feel perfectly comfortable at Auto Zone in Rockwall. Their staff is so helpful, and they never make me feel less than--even though I (admittedly) know very little about cars. Theyre super knowledgeable and always go out of their way to help (check the car, complete installation, etc.). Just this morning, they put in a new headlamp bulb for me. Thanks Auto Zone!

March 2020I walked in and was greeted by all 3 guys that were up front. There was a fourth guy outside helping another person and he too said hello and welcome to me. I like that a lot. Very personable and friendly.This Autozone also takes NFC payments (so digital tap on your phone) and as you can see from the pics, very clean floor and well lit. Great service!===========Not as busy but I dont go here as often. I only go here when I have extra time in Rockwall so Im not usually pressed for time. Otherwise, the staff is good.

AutoZone permits its construction workers to take up the handicap spaces of people that need it.Called and spoke with them. They didn’t seem to care. How hard is it not to break the law and not take over handicap spaces???

These guys were so helpful today! My car would not start after getting gas this morning. I got it jumped and headed to autozone per my husbands instructions to have them check alternator before going to Ford for a new battery. They checked it and said looks good but you have an autozone battery that might be under warranty still. Sure enough it was replaced by them under warranty at no cost! My heros, thank you Jerry and Jim.

I dont leave reviews often, but definitely will for these guys. They went above and beyond keeping their store open during a historic winter storm, with no power on. Store manager personally handled my credit card transaction that they had to phone in later on so I could get some diesel additive to keep my fuel from gelling up and my vehicle running. I feel for everyone having to work during such a rough time but I know myself and plenty of others are beyond grateful they did! So thanks to all of you for braving the weather. I was having issues with my vehicle not fully cranking last night. I thought it was either the starter or the alternator. Instead of making an appt at the mechanics, I went to Advanced Auto to get a battery testing and diagnostic reading. After 3 different tests, thr information was inconclusive. They has suggested to get a second opinion Auto Zone ( where I had forgotten I had purchased the battery 3 years ago). Not only did it only take one test to have a solid reading - I was able to get a credit from the battery warranty from the originally purchase and to apply it to a new battery. Mr. Jim Davis went above and beyond to make sure everything had a tight fit, explained why (in his professional opinion) shims were not the greatest choice for the connecting cables, and his attention to detail. I never once felt that I was being dismissed or felt that I was inconveniencing him (which we all are familiar with that type of customer service). I highly recommend Auto Zone for all your vehicle needs. Also, it is a Military Friendly establishment.

Jim Davis, the store manager is just thoughtful and helpful in whatever he does to help customers. He helped me replace my low beam lights on a Benz which wasn’t really part of his job. Awesome experience,I purchase an Alternator and a battery a couple weeks ago my batteries came on again today.I brought the alternator back to the store, a tech tested it and told me it was good. I refused to take the alternator back because I tested it before I brought in and my fluke meter told me the alternator wasnt charging.A manager got involved and replace the product for a better / upgraded one, and charged my battery for free.I strongly suggest/ recommend this location for all your auto needs they seems to know what matters most... repeat business.I have installed the new alternator, clear the battery light and the vehicle runs great.Thanks Auto Zone you have a customer for life.

The best service EVER! After going to 2 other autopart stores to figure out my engine overheating issue, I finally make it to Autozone where I am greeted by Jerry who was very nice and helpful in helping me figure out the issue as well as Jim Davis the manager. Since they didnt have the part Jerry found the hose I needed at another location. Raden another associate was kind enough and gave me a ride to pick it up, as well as helped me install the new hose. Best customer service and store Ive been to since moving to Texas. Keep up the great work guys!

I immediately give 1 star when I’m treated differently because I’m a woman. They also have the worst customer service. Had to make a surprise visit after my battery was dead. Stopped in to buy it so that I could install it later and discovered they would install it immediately for free. They then tested the battery and alternator for free. Just excellent customer service.

I was able to pick up oil and filter for $25 vs. $45. I would have spent much more on a synthetic oil change at any quick oil change. Took me 15 min and I taught my son to change the fluids in his own car.

We needed a battery and the sales clerk was knowledgeable and offered/installed the new one in for us.

No I will not return at all! You know i am a loyal customer to autozone but this one just bothers my inner nerve! I got a price for brake parts over the phone and asked for price match to Orilleys CERAMIC BRAKE PADS! Once I was there I found out that the pads they were giving me were some organic recycled trash for the price! I told right away that I was quoted over the phone! Their response: We thought you were from a shop People, commercial has its own phone line!! I guess they changed their mind once they saw me! Cant believe this crap! i bought the trash because i needed them, but i was tempted to drive all the way to Oreilly on Centerville in garland since they were the closest ones to having them.
