Went today at 1630 to help my boyfriend get books for school and store was closed. Hours on the website and google were incorrect. No physical posting anywhere stating the true hours of the store. Number to call had no information about new hours either. Had to inform another student on my way back to the car that the store was closed. Pretty big waste of time.

Quick and painless if you follow email instructions for pickup. Theyve got a LOT of stuff there.

I think people forget this is for the bookstore and probably the cafe court as well.Pros:- great service. Student-run as well! (Bookstore)- good selection of materials and books (bookstore)- easy access. Little wait time (excludes on first few week of every semester)- well organized (bookstore)food court:- food tastes pretty good.-the pizza of the court is A+++ amazing! It’s even better when it comes out of the oven. Worth every penny!- lowest price on chips/snacks than vending machine- Apple Pay supported!- good variety of food (make your own burger, tenders, sushi, salads, soup of the day)Cons:Bookstore:- electronics are not competitive. I can exclude Apple devices but an SD card should cost /that/ much.- No price matching (at least from what I’m aware)- low competitive pricing, mostly electronics items.- No reward system (just a bit of an inconvenience)Food court:- MC Café does not accept Starbucks gift cards/cash card.- food court tenders quality can vary per day/time.- salad pricing is a bit high for its value.Overall the bookstore is pretty nice, and the food court is great but sometimes not a good value. The pizza is and will always be the very best.

I love Montgomery College! Although I achieved my undergraduate and post graduate degree elsewhere, I still come back to Montgomery College for courses in their life long learning and project management programs. My son feels the same way, and loves to come here although he achieved his bachelors at another University. He always refers to Montgomery College as his best college experience.

For those complaining about the school not having books, please understand there’s over 30,000+ student that’s attend MC from different campuses and they might need the book you need. You need to plan ahead of time and order your books early. Their inventory is very limited. Please do not bash the workers there, it’s not their fault. I don’t work at the bookstore but I know what it feels like to work retail.This is one of the best bookstore hands down. If you have time to complain you should’ve ordered your books earlier. Period.

This is one of, if not the best community colleges in the area. While it is a maze of pathways, both inside and out, it is constantly growing, just these last couple of years, they added a new parking garage, with 918 spaces, since there wasn’t enough parking before. They are also building a brand new Student Service Center. They just keep expanding. The hallways are a little confusing, but you’ll get used to it, and it doesn’t take long to find a person who can help you. I must say, this is better than 4 year college, and it’s also less expensive, by a lot.

Got ripped out of 30 dollars because the lady behind the counter incorrectly informed me of their return policy. This, despite me explicitly asking what it was before my purchase. Was gone for less than 10 minutes before returning with my product and receipt. Then was told nope cant do it and was ushered out the door. I now have a cord that is completely useless to me and am out 30 I would have gladly used to buy something else that was useful. Dont bother.

I am a social butterfly. But Rockville campus was too social for me and the people socializing with each other are not deaf. I feel like Im the only Deaf student on Montgomery college.

I gotta say they have best customer services but lack of communication and honesty. I first called Rockville campus and they said that they have the accounting book, but when o went there they told me that they dont have the book and the book will be out next week. Then i called Germantown and they said the same . I am wondering if they really HAVE the book. I really need it for my class. A little honesty wouldnt hurt too. 😢😢😢😢😢

Just spent 20 minutes calling and only getting a ringtone. When I go in person, an hour commute, the college students working there have no idea what’s going on. I’ve literally witnessed someone there picking their nose and talking to their peers. When I asked a question, it obviously annoyed their hang out time. When I finally asked my question, I was directed to the cashier that directed me back to first nose picker.No one offered to explain the layout of the bookstore, which would have eliminated space confusion. The two people that seemed to know what they were doing, were talking to each other about how no one else knew anything.Book credits (loan money) can be used for unexpected things. One of these unexpected items include a backpack. A sign stating what is eligible for book credits wouldn’t be an overwhelming request. I had to ask FIVE DIFFERENT PEOPLE about the validity of book-bags. After a lot of stammering and uncertain statements, in lieu of stating that they need to find out, I decided to just gamble on it. That’s how I found out.The kids running around are very much kids. It is already obvious that they do not take college serious. I would bet my tuition that none of them are pursing a business degree.

Its got everything that even the Takoma Park campus have in there separated from campus facility center. For Rockville, its all together in one campus center. Totally love their shop whenever I am low on supplies for art classes. Even though the crowd is unpleasant when getting in line, I could still get a chance to get back whenever its not congested with students and faculty trying to get a cup of coffee or something quick to eat.

So I have been going to school here I loved it the bookstore has almost everything that I need. I do say almost I am a type 2 diabetic its is very hard to find things that are sugar free or low in carbs when I first started going the i told someone in charge why arent there any energy drinks that are sugar free. Well a month after they had a good stock of it I dont know if it was because of me or not, but I was very glad for it because, come on we all need that extra boost after being there for 4 hours. Since then I always look out for something thats sugar free food wise still hoping that one day they will. I cant be the only one out there that wishes something could be sugar free food wise beside jerky which is a hefty amount. When I say this it means sugar free and low in carbs.

I don’t know if it’s just me who feels like it’s impossible to graduate from here. However, it’s a great place to receive an education and get an associates degree. I wish every student had a set advisor and you wouldn’t get a new advisor every time you schedule a meeting with one.

Ive been goin to mc a few times over the years. great place to learn! but make sure u get a parkin pass--they r ticket happy...

They dont answer the phone no matter the time. Ive called them, while walking in the store and they were doing absolutely nothing with no one even shopping. The lady at the register charged me 3x for the same book. I wanted a computer in grey the guy said they dont have it, for me to try online, I asked someone else and he brought it right out to me. Completely incompetent people and the prices are extremely high for supplies, go to staples or dollar store.

Always helpful customer service, knowledgeable, and willing to help you out until they find what you need.

Any book that I dont know is expensive or expensive. Enough to be sold back Can not sell Set all prohibitions here Claiming to be the rule A bookstore or a police station? Suggest that you can buy a book from here, think carefully, buy it and not use it Can I give it two days to return and get my money back? It depends on your luck, but I tell you that sucks. Mourn the lost money for thinking that the book can be sold back. Accept that you dont think carefully first. I believe the shop sucks! P.S. I did not intend to make mistakes, but I intended to curse !!!
