Short staffed, spent most of my time wating for help from the only worker there. When she finally did have time to help me she was short and cold. Me and another customer both recognized it and talked breifly about how off-putting it was while she ran off to check out someone else. She was very knowledgeable and knew what she was talking about but would cut me off and interrupt, probably because shes tired and over worked. I ended up just putting my things back and leaving. This wont stop me from coming back but its time to buff up your staff and give them the support they deserve.

Ladies there were super nice. I was trying to pick out a cologne for my husband so she let me take some testers home. Thankfully I did because it smells totally different outside the store with all the different scents around. Ended up going back to purchase one of them and the two ladies could not have been nicer.I went in previously to purchase a foundation and they did the computer skin tone matching thing for me. She wasn’t super helpful when she was trying to explain undertones, she basically just said it was your personal preference and walked away from me 🤷🏼‍♀️ so in that regard could have been better but ... oh well

I know they don’t have a full selection, but I come here when i need to stock up on basics. I know what I want to buy before I go in and I get it. I have no complaints. If you want samples, you do need to ask. They will provide samples if you want to try something. The main reason I prefer to shop here is because everytime I go here I am addressed correctly as “miss”. For that reason alone, I will continue to go here. For the record I am a 32 yr old women who looks younger. However, I’m very tired and irritated hearing customer service agents call me “ mam” in an attempt to be condescending by implying that I look older than My age. It really kills my mood. 32 is not old, but I highly doubt A woman of ANY age wants to be called “ mam” unless you live in the southern states. Other sales associates in other stores/restaurants should take a hint from Sephora in Rockford Illinois.

My girlfriend applied for a job here and was beyond excited to potentially work here. The management/hiring process is an absolute joke. She was given an interview and then told to wait a week to find out. After a week she got a call- “ok come in for a second interview in about a week”. Ok. After the second interview, “we will let you know in a week if what we decide” after a 4 week process, literally a month, of waiting and wondering, these people never even called or let her know. Every time my girlfriend called the manager was “busy”. Stacy(I think) the manager you are an absolute joke and need to re-evaluate your career because this whole process was laughable. Unbelievable how pathetic you are. My girlfriend was applying for a STANDARD JOB at SEPHORA and it took a month for them to tell her nothing? It’s not like she was applying to be the CEO? Come on people I hope this store gets shut down soon along with the rest of the mall.

Pointless to shop here. They are always out of everything. The girls are always helpful & do offer to order whatever it is - but if I wanted to do that, I would just order it online in the first place.

The workers are usually really nice, but it’s typical to only see one person. & wow the store is awful. Absolutely trashed, always out of everything. All the display/ tester makeup and palettes are suuuuper disgusting and all broken 🤢🥴not sure if I really came in on the wrong day or if this is normal, but it was a disaster and really gross. Oh well, it’s typical for rockfordians to ruin everything .

I casually mentioned that I was looking for a good green lipstick to the manager (Cara) while in with my husband. Amongst the samples he got was a green lipstick! Cara must have heard me and included it! Great little touches like that make this sephora the only one I go to! Awesome customer service!

Fine if you know exactly what your looking for. I asked for suggestions on foundation and the saleswoman said “I’m the only one here, how do you expect me to help you and everyone else in the store.” Left and got great service and the Bare Minerals store across the mall.

JCPenneys is a regular Mall department store.we went in by your toaster and we were pleasantly surprised to find out the toaster which was originally $40, was on sale for $10. A customer that was leaving the store stopped asked if we wanted a coupon he couldnt use and the coupon was for another 30% off. The 4 slice toaster we purchased for $9.07.

The workers could have cared less about helping me find a new foundation and did not move to help me at all. On top of that the lighting is really good in there, as in you can see every flaw, and the workers looked super cake faced. No way am I trusting any of their judgement after seeing how terrible their foundation looked anyways, so I left. I finally found my HG foundation from somewhere else and to make sure it looked right I went back to look in Sephoras mirrors and lighting, at least the store is useful for something.

I have not bought anything from there but me and some friends (I am 12) went there to look around and mabey buy something, the employees gave my friends and I a very rude look, I believe I was because we look younger than we are and mabey they didnt think so and thought 12 is too young, Im not sure, but, I will leave another review after I shop there.

Ever since the change in management the store is horrible. Staff are so worried about the awful theft that this location has they don’t treat customers like customers. I’ll buy online or go to woodfield to get treated correctly.

Worst customer service ever! Walked in the other day and no associate acknowledge that I was even there. Totally ignored me. If I can give it no stars I would. Better off online shopping

What a bunch of rude little stuck up girls! I try to buy almost $500 worth of products for my wife and they either dont have it or I hear them say o u want the cheaper model! I guess I will shop somewhere else since my money isnt any good.

I buy very often in that store and yesterday I was touched by a super pedantic and rude Hispanic girl just because I speak Spanish and she also attended to me before yesterday I asked her about something when paying and she answered me in English I told her you can speak to me in Spanish please she said : NO, I DONT WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU IN SPANISH NOTHING FORCES ME TO DO IT. I didnt tell him anything, stay quiet, he didnt want to give me a bag for the item I bought, I had to ask him for it, I thought it was super rude .... it was in Rockford Illinoisshop 2830Employee # 0939
