I dont like writing bad reviews, but tonight at this store a woman was cashing out in front of me and she needed assistance. She hadnt realized that the register took cards only and all she had was cash. She looked for the front end cashier that deals with self-check out and didnt see her. I stepped out of line to find the cashier and I found her alright. She was on her cell phone not paying one bit of attention to her job. I had to go over and get her, so she could assist the woman. The woman apologized to me, I was like you dont need to apologize to me.Other than that, its a good store to go to, because it isnt a supercenter. Its like a grocery store. And being like that, you dont have to travel a mile to get to the milk. And it still has the same great prices. So, yeah I would go there again. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is because of the cashier.

A Great Place to Shop & I Shop About Every 2 Weeks For Food My Apartment

I was very impressed with this offshoot of my local York SC Walmart. This place is clean stocked very nicely had every item I was seeking and prices were actually a bit cheaper ....Not to mention friendly staff and many open Lanes unlike York Walmart ...

Today is 08/20/2021 142pm... This place is pack... Only one register and 3 self checkouts... The customers are leaving the carts on the aisle and walked by out.... This is ridiculous...Update:Today is 09/27/2021Self checkout Felicia went ahead and in a very disrespectful way, call another customer and cut her I front of me when it was time to pay... If she would ask me if it was okay, I will allow the person to go in front of me... Not like that... If this person represents this store, the store sucks!!!

A lot better than the one on Dave Lyle super Walmart. Super Walmart is nasty the employees are not nice and they run their mouth and I dont know about nobody else but in my day when an employee treats a customer like they treated me and a lot of other people they would have lost their jobs but I guess being the race that they are has a lot to do with it

After having a HORRIBLE online grocery pick up experience, an employee made that experience so much better! I waited over 30 mins for my order to be brought to my car, to get home and was missing 5 items! I called back to let the store know that my online grocery order was missing multiple items and LaJana (sorry if i misspelled) was very apologetic and was determined to make it right! She walked me through the refund process over the phone and when I couldn’t request a refund on chicken drumsticks, she told me what time she worked the next day and wanted to assure me she would get the item to me. The next day I called and she remembered my name and had my item waiting on me! She personally brought it to the car and again apologized for the issues with my grocery order the previous day! I just want her to be recognized for her amazing customer service! Thank you again LaJana!

I continually have to check my expectations when I go to this or a Walmart superstore.Let’s be honest…there is 1 attraction here…it’s cheap. I’m frugal so enjoy that…Three star reduction due to:1. There is almost never a day or time that the lines for registers aren’t full, there are I think, 6 normal lanes, four self checkout, plus the customer service area (often empty). Rarely is a normal lane open, which means anyone with a large basket automatically shuts down a self use lane for 15 minutes (I watch this all the time). So not always but often, 3 self checkout lanes and they are consistently 4/5 people deep. What makes this worse is, there are regularly 3/4 employees out front smoking, 3/4 stocking, people In the pharmacy area, usually 3/4 people standing at the front where there is no register, and randoms walking around the store and parking lot. Long story short, there are six manned registers available, far more than 6 people available to man them, but everyone just stands there and watches like it’s ok.2. Staff professionalism is just non existent, they fight with earth other, yell across the store, yell across registers, block isles, and the only time I ever confronted anyone about the wait, it was a manager that asked me “what do you want me to do about it?”3. They will regularly stock the store full of pallets and crates, the product sits there to be put away, which takes hours. Meanwhile…isles are blocked, traffic slows down, products are blocked, and the most concerning part…they are always doing this with a ton of people in the store. Why not overnight when empty and most convenient for customers…no idea…Again, some of this is my fault due to just a higher basic expectation, but I get the trade off for the cost. I guess this is one of those situations where if you can ignore all the crazy, it’s a decent cheap place to shop. If you want a fast orderly shopping process…you will not get it here.

In store shopping and online shopping are two different experiences. No complaints about the in store experience. Its Walmart, lol. However, I recommend not using the pickup service here since my orders have been consistently been delayed. If youre short staffed, youre short staffed, I get that. No grudges there. I do get upset though that 10-15 of my items get cut from my order every time. Other Walmarts around town dont seem to have that problem. Again, it may be best if you select another place to pick up from if you dont want to have issues with timing or things allegedly being out of stock.

Dont use the grocery pickup at this location right now. My order was delayed 2 1/2 hours. Now I have been in the parking lot waiting for my groceries to be brought to my car for about an hour.

I like the small size of the store. The produce seems to be fresher than the superstores. Its easy to find what you want if all you want are the usual things that would be in a store this size. Its never very crowded. And its easy to navigate and check out. The parking lot is always crowded.

Amazing place, feel bad for the staff because it looks as if they are under staffed. But u will have that thru this Era

This Walmart has a particularly strange smell to it. Kind of to be expected with any Walmart but no reason to give less than 5 stars. Staff is usually pretty decent and on par for Walmart standards.

No buggies for customers. Had to get my own. Only 2 cashiersWhat is wrong walmart ? All Walmarts are getting this way. Shelves have been empty for a week . The same things. Been going to Walmart for years may have to change that.

Dark, unclean looking. But good prices on beauty aids. Staff talking in groups.

None of the registers were open everything had to be done by self-pay in the lines were backed up at least six to eight people per register

Really nice store with great selection.

Went in to pick up an order. When I got there I was the only one. I checked in and they brought out an order, not mine so the girl went back in. Another car pulled up and the same girl brought out that order. I waited for about another 15 or 20 minutes and no order. I finally went in and the lady I talked to called someone and told them I was waiting on my order. 5 minutes later they finally came with my groceries. While I was there no one else came for a pick up other than the one person. I am not happy with the service I received today.

There are many things you are not going to find here, so do your research and search on app if the item is available on the particular store or not! Good parking space, clean and maintained space

Alot of people shop there. Busy at times. Its nice to go to without clothing.and other items being displayed taking your mind off of purchasing the groceries that you need.

This place is small and doesnt have what the larger Wal Mart has. But is good when you need stuff for dinner or drinks. Yes it has a deli but no bakery.

First time Ive been in one of these half Walmarts. I was impressed, not a real large selection of food but good for what you need . I enjoyed my visit to this mini Walmart. Loved not fighting the regular larger Walmart crowds.

Took the customer service lady 20 mins to help one customer and she didnt apologize for taking so long. If she wouldve moved any slower, she wouldve gone backwards. I waited patiently but the other 3 in front of me obviously there linger than I was really aggravated. Another lady came up and helped 2 people while the lady finally moved on to the next. Wont come here again.

The staff know where everything is and are extremely polite and helpful, I usually have of course my 4 year old, and my legally blind mother in law and at times my legally blind husband, if theyre stocking shelves and see that we either need to get by or need a space to get out of the way to grab something they make sure theres room for 2 carts to do so.

Customer service very bad money center always down

Its a bit confusing when you are trying to checkout but cant determine if the cashiers lane is open or closed. It would be very helpful to know when a lane is actually open so everyone does not have to use self checkout at the same time.

Went there to get some tylenol ended up buying other items I needed. Its a small Walmart but just the right size for me, not over crowded.

They need to have more people in the deli waited 25 minutes and no one showed to wait on me whole store sucks

Great Store--but why no check out line help--I love to shop there, but every time, is only self check out---- lines grow--staff is there, but not checking folks out or helping with the people having problems with fruits, vegetables and the like---which makes checking out a real chore.

Basic neighborhood Walmart which is primarily a grocery store/pharmacy. Good selection of most basic needs. Good amount of self checkout and not usually crammed.

Easy, convenient shopping experience without the huge crazy big Walmart.

A go to place for the area. Gas station on location. Fresh, nice looking produce. Not a long waiting time in line.

It’s always good for me here. It can definitely get crowed but I can still usually get in and out. I rather go here than going to the SuperCenter which is 20 minutes further in either direction.

Busy... Full parking lot. But things were moving pretty smoothly 30 mins ago... And most importantly, they had what I came there for: Bluebird cards to give as Christmas gifts ;-)

Even for a Walmart, this has to be among the worst. The person who checked me out was pleasant. But there was stock blocking every aisle, it was dirty overall and the selection was disappointing.

Went on a Wednesday and in and out quickly. Not too many people and lots of registers open. Covid precautions seem to be up to standards.

I was trying to send a MoneyGram but the system was down. The attendant was kind and mentioned other locations that might provide that service.

Good Service and found items I needed.

It was fine just wish they had more registers open to keep the lines from building up.

Good grocery store I wish theyd bring back the chicken salad theyre so good and the loaded potato salad I dont know what in the world I mean last time I saw a regular chicken salad in there the price was through the roof I mean its like 11 to $12 for that little tub of chicken salad,,, and I havent seen the loaded potato salad in many many months so other than that this store does pretty good they generally cover what you need dog food something else they need to bring back I can find every kind of dog food you want in the world in there except olroyother than those couple things I cant theres no complaining about this store they do really well staff usually very helpful places clean fresh food so i recommended you can usually get in and out quicker than you can the supercenter not that the supercenter is hard to get in and out of its just bigger takes a bit longer

Clean but need to restock shelves at night! Big mess almost at every corner. Lots of talking about personal stuff and not enough attention on customer care!

Mix of good and bad employees. Sadly, seems I deal with a lot of the bad ones. Not polite, dont want to be bothered and must not have clothes that fit. All I see is what they are wearing underneath their pants. This particular Walmart relies way too much on the self checkout while 3 front end workers just stare at you. Probably would not shop there if it wasnt so convenient.

Horrible..2 women cussing and screaming about 6 ft apart. Scary!

Easy entrance, face mask worn not mandatory, wheelchairs easy to get for whom ever needs it. Only one employee had a issue when I asked him where a product was located. I would SAY he must not like his job.

Come here only for the groceries, do not come here for any type of customer service or any other products. Theyll lose your orders, misplace them, and give you a penny on the dollar for any return. Or not take the return at all. Definitely does not function like other Wal-Marts.

New to the Rock Hill area and I must say I really like this place. Besides its location, I really like that it has a lot of spanish products at decent prices and its usually well stocked

Awful, this visit wasnt pleasurable at all. They only had 2 self checkout working and 1 cashier. Three very long lines going down the aisles.I was in line for 20 minutes to check myself out.. Very disappointed 😞

Small neighborhood walmart, has everything you need, good to go into and get out of! They require masks so be sure to have one before you go in!

Im not q huge Walmart fan, but sometimes, you just have to go to one. I actually really like the neighborhood Walmart because its smaller size lets me get what I need and get out without walking a mile and a half... The service is always great, the staff are helpful, and they pretty much always have what I need. Great for big shopping trips or a quick convenience run.
