We brought our vehicle to this Firestone location to fix an A/C problem. First time we brought it, fixed! For a day. Then the problem came back. We brought the vehicle back to get it fixed, and not only had the issue returned but they also caused another issue in my vehicle.We brought it back TWICE and both times someone said no one told them the vehicle was there so it sat at their shop for a whole weekend without being touched.Only reason we haven’t gone somewhere else is because we paid a hefty price and we would be walking away without that money, nothing fixed, and another problem to fix.I will definitely say I am disappointed in their lack of communication with each other, and with their customers. We will not be returning for any future services.
I went to the Firestone for an inspection of a used car that I was considering buying. The staff worked hard to get us in and pointed out a number of problems with the car I was getting. Super thankful for their professionalism and help in my car buying venture.
I have been a loyal Firestone customer since I got my first vehicle in 2009 and have serviced every vehicle there that myself and my wife have owned. This includes approximately 8 vehicles at various locations including Rock Hill, Columbia, Lexington, and Fort Worth, TX. I have spent thousands with this company, and even worked for the Harbison (Columbia) location for over a year.Disappointing and frustrating are an understatement regarding my visit to the Rock Hill Firestone on Sunday May 25th. I had a drop off appointment for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation for 10am, which I was admittedly a little late to. I arrived around 10:30am and told the advisor, Asher, that I was not in a rush as long as it was done by closing.I never received a phone call which I thought was odd, so I tried calling at 5:00pm and the phone rang unanswered. By the time I arrived at around 5:30p, the shop was closed, and my vehicle was locked inside.As I mentioned before, I was a service advisor for Firestone in Columbia, SC several years ago. I know for a fact that it is company policy to contact every customer near the end of the day and advise them their vehicle is ready for pickup or provide a status update.Not only did I not receive a call on Sunday, I waited until my lunch break on Monday at noon and returned to the shop without ever receiving any call. When I arrived, my vehicle was still inside the shop and neither Asher nor the store manager even knew if it had been completed. They had to inspect the vehicle to verify that.Upon expressing my frustration as calmly as I could, the store manager simply said “I’m sorry I wasn’t here yesterday. But you weren’t the only one this happened to, there were 3 others.” I understand mistakes happen and that you cannot control something in your absence, but I truly believe he could have addressed that more professionally. Dismissing my complaint because I was lumped in with a group of others who also received poor customer service, does not make it any better.What really astounded me was that nothing was done to try to keep a loyal customer. My wife and I work full time and we have a 7-month old baby, so our time is extremely limited and therefore very valuable to us. There was no discount or future voucher offered for the inconvenience of having to take my wife to work, arrange a ride during my lunch break to pick up the vehicle, and then bring her vehicle to her work so that she would have a way home.I will end on this: it is typically much easier and far more economical to keep an existing loyal customer than to try gather new ones. Due to a complete lack of professionalism and customer service, Firestone will not receive any future business from me or anyone in my family.
This place does not value your appointment time. This location need some more workers or something. The guys that are working today is beyond tired. More workers equals better customer service.
Just changed my battery that had been installed here on their recommendation about 18 months ago. When I changed the battery, I realized that the one they had installed was very undersized for my vehicle (Ford Explorer). Makes sense why the batter didnt hold up long. STRONGLY recommend that you do NOT use these guys. Looking back at my receipt, they DID manage to charge me for the right-sized battery. Just wish they had that level of attention during install.
My place to go for my oil change, and just any work to be to my truck . No complaints at all

I had a very frustrating experience at this location. I took my husbands truck in for a tire rotation, alignment and balance. I had a 9am appointment. I sat in the waiting room for two hours. At the two hour mark I asked what was taking so long. I was told it was on the alignment rack. Then a couple of minutes later I was told they couldn’t do the alignment due to the lane assist. Their machine wasn’t equipped to do it (but I could waste more time at another location to have it done). My husbands truck doesn’t have lane assist. It’s scary to think their “head” technician thought there was lane assist. I will not be returning to this location.
Louis is the man. They have some good people working for them. Another place I would recommend.

Its a good place to have your vehicle serviced Ive been going there for about 10 years and have seen many changes, just make sure that you ask about any additional work and prices before the service is added on our you may get stuck like chuck.

She knows exactly what she is doing and that made my experience even better. She made my long wait very pleasant and diffently made it worth my time and money. Very helpful. Went to advanced auto and they told me a bad starter. Brought it to firestone and it was just a battery. Decided to get and oil change while I was there. Very nice people
Made an appointment and was still there for almost 2 hours for just an oil change. Need to honor their appointment times or only do first come first serve .
My dad was a Firestone guy, but that was out of MS. I have to say this shop really did a great job! I was impressed with the competence of the manager who rang me out himself and made sure I understood the recommended work without any scare tactics or such. I liked it so much, I actually just left the car for them to do ALL the recommended work. The quote/price was MUCH lower than I expected!(Sorry for silly name, my kid has the Google account)

The guy said it would take an hour and 45 minutes to put on new tires. I have been here for 3 hours now and they are not even done.
Even with an appointment, it took over 3 hours and a return trip for a tire balance. They made it much worse than when I arrived. Now, I am at Discount Tire...shouldve come here first.

Love this team! My ac compressor had gone out and they were able to fix it the same afternoon i brought it in and changed my oil. They kept me updated the whole time too which was really nice. Cant thank you all enough!!
Ryan is extremely rude. I asked how much the tires for my Volkswagen would be and because I asked if the tires were used he hung up on me. So I called back to apologize if I offended him and he lies and say he didnt hang up on me. I was mid sentence when you hung up! How could you possibly think I was done.

Allowed my 32 year old girlfriend and her 80 year old mother diagnose brakes. Had no problem selling them a fluid exchange, but failed to mention pads need replaced. Guess that builds repeat business and now you can sell rotors. Do yourself a favor and let your neighbors teenage daughter work on your car. You’ll get better results. Last I checked they are supposed to be the “professionals.” Why let a teacher and a retirement age housewife diagnose a brake problem on a vehicle a 1 year old rides in?

The unprofessional conduct of the store manager warranted my response. I applied for a position there and due to budgetary constraints he could not give myself a job, to which I understand. But after enquiring about the position he chose not only to not inform me but to hang up mid conversation. I found that very unprofessional conduct that represents not only himself but your company as well. I believe my 1 star rating was warranted.
Took my new Honda for its second oil change to this Firestone. The cost is less, the mechanics are certified and they got it done quickly for me. Very pleased.

This location has lost its way. Look for another place. They have no honor. They do not honor appointments, shoving you to the side if someone walks up with a higher revenue job. If you like to be up charged they are great at that sort of thing. If you like waiting all day for a simple job, this is the place for you. I am pulling all my cars from this organization, as I have seen it degrade over the years. It happens.. its why there are other places to go. I have to give them one star, or this review wont enable the POST button. Thanks Google.

This is my go to place for tires and other wheel related work (alignment, rotation, balancing, suspension repair, etc.) This is a complete auto care shop so they can help with any auto related repairs. The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable. I would recommend Firestone.
I have recommended so many people to Firestone. Today was a huge disappointment . I had a 10:00 appointment and it took almost 3 hours to get a routine oil change and tire rotation. When I went back to get my car, after an hour and a half(11:30), they had not even started on it. I was called and told it was about ready,vand they had not begun the tire rotation! Almost 4 hours later, I got my car back! I wonder what it would be have been if I had not had an appointment!! Extremely dissatisfied!
Went here to get a simple brake job. After they look at the car the tell me that my brakes look fine and that I need a new alignment and new tires. I got an alignment the same day. Two days later I go to get new tires (somewhere cheaper). My car continues to shake when i brake. I go back to Firestone and ask to look at it again. They tell me that I need brakes. I explain that is the reason for me coming the first time when you said that I didnt need brakes. The response I get was it seems to have been miscommunication on our part but you do need brakes someone told you the wrong info. Would you like us to put them on for you? yea right. Will never go back
Absolute idiots. Dont take your car there. They put black electrical tape on a pressure oil line. Guess what happened when the car started? Oil everywhere. Too close to closing time. The want of have anything to do with it never ever. Will I take my car to a fire stone again.
Good service, I only get my alignments done on my vehicles and some ac work, I do all other repairs on my vehicles myself, only 2 techs I allow to work on my vehicles, Tim L and Alex, last time I was there joe assisted me at front desk, seemed to know what he was doing and going on, updated me on progress of ac repair, all in all I think they do good work
Service was fast and friendly had no problems everyone there was very knowledgeable they did not try to upsell me and things I didnt need it did a good job Ill be back

Aside from the great auto care, the customer service was phenomenal. They made me coffee, turned up the heat and gave me a jacket when they saw I was cold. It made waiting for my car a pleasant experience.
Was told i needed a new serpentine belt and upper and lower contorl arms. Took my truck to another place and they said my serpertine belt is perfectly fine and i do not even have control arms only ball joints that are tight and fine....wow. Screw people over much. This is not a honest location not going to talk bad about other stores but this one needs some ethics training

Absolute horrible customer service and work. Wife has been there 3 times and made and appointment only to wait there 2+hours every time. Also have oil in our garage all three times where they dont wipe off excess oil. Very sloppy work and their service is horrible. 1000000 people changing oil in Rock Hill.and the only thing that separates them is the service...you failed that opportunity.
Firestone is the best for car maintenance in Rock Hill. A little pricey but worth it. Will and the others explain in detail whats needed for your car or give your car a clean bill of health(in my case). I have been using Firestone since 2015 and i havent had any problems.
My daughter needed a tire repaired, so went to Firestone (Ive used them and had an account for almost 20 years). She was told the tire was unrepairable because we had used fix-a-flat, and was given a quote for a new tire ($142). I googled tire repair rock hill sc, select one of the first results, and off she went. They removed the screw, plugged the tire, rebalance it, and inspected all tires, telling her theyre all fine, you dont need anything at this time. Cost - $0.00. 20 years Ive been using this business...no more.

Called to schedule oil change appointment was told they were slow that day and did not need to make an appointment. I showed up slightly earlier than I anticipated and was told I needed an appointment and they could schedule me for tomorrow. I explained to her whom I spoke with and after about 30 min of her trying to find him and discuss it with him she reluctantly let me get it done. After almost 2 hours they finally had my oil changed. It doesnt take that long to change oil. They pulled my car in immediately after I got there. I will never go back to this location or probably to firestone again.
Great service and fair prices for the service, this is the only place we use since my son who is a Master ASE Certified mechanic moved to Florida 10 plus years ago.

Took my truck there at 7am to fix the brakes and for them to inspect it. I just bought the truck wanted a mechanics opinion. The brakes where making a noise and spongey also needed alignment. A lady calls me back at 1pm saying nothing was wrong with my truck. Long story short buy tires from them go somewhere else for maintenance.
Dropped my car off for alignment and balance and drove away with car being worse than when I dropped it off. This is the second vehicle I have had with this lifetime plan. I always used Cherry Riad and left a shaking car. Even after taking it back over and over. Now that I live in 2 different cities I now know it is just the Cherry road firestone that has the problem. They obviously don’t know how to preform this job. The Firestone in the other 2 locations know what they are doing and I never have problems. I dropped my SUV off a few weeks ago and left with it vibrating violently I took it back and they said it was fine just like I did with my previous SUV. So I took it to the coast and they did it correctly no more vibration when breaking. I will never drop it off at the Rock Hill location again!

Screws in my tire as I was traveling home to PA. They rushed me in and had everything fixed in under an hour. Even needed a new tire. They were amazing
I made an appointment on Tuesday to get a simple oil change as early as possible on Sunday, I was told it would be done in an hour. I dropped my car off at the appointment time, and got a call almost 2 hours later saying they wouldnt be able to fit me in, that they were too busy. I understand that things happen, but I was given an appointment time that was apparently pointless.I show up to pick my car, which hasnt moved from where I left it, and I see that the service bay has only 1 car in it and several mechanics. I guess theyre all too busy working on this one car to take care of mine?I wont even be thinking of returning to this business. The whole reason behind reserving a timeslot for a simple job almost a week in advance was that I needed it to be done, and this place dropped the ball badly. I guess I made an appointment to get up on a Sunday and leave my car in a parking lot for 2 hours.

Super slow...i had to put my own tire on my 4th wheel camper that was in parking lot . They could not come outside a.c. garage to put it on for me.
The staff is very friendly. However their prices are extremly high. The markup is more than double for wipers. And they only carry highend batteries. Its not the place to go if you are on a budget.

Went here to get my Jeeps air conditioning serviced. Was told the blower and resistor needed replacing and it would be $560. Turns out the blower and resistor are fine and it was just a loose cable. Needless to say Im disappointed that I was lied to just so they could make a buck but thats America today I suppose.

Worse ever took my car here March 25 2017 got new tires 4, all wheel alignment, wheel bearings. July came in side of my brand new tires all you can see is wire of the tires 😩😩 took car back was told we failed to tell you your shocks are bad do you want us to do them... Can someone explain how can you do an alignment when the shocks/struts are bad? After a couple of calls to corporate they agreed to fix it... Well 8/9 took it to be repaired drop off at 8am went to pick up at 6pm still wasnt ready. 730pm car finally ready, drove home tmps light is now on the car is pulling to right shaking like i have a bad tire... As a single middle class mother i trusted firestone with my car now its still not driving as it should be😩😩😩 rip off they only want your money...

I used to love taking my car here, biggest problem I had was the tech didnt close my hood all the way. Well that all changed when they changed their staff at some point over the last 2 years. We had them bust a radiator, then once they got the new radiator they forgot to put the clamp on the radiator hose, which caused the hose to pop off, almost overheating the truck. They have ordered the wrong part for my vehicle and tried to put it on. They have put 3 cv. axels on my vehicle in the last year due to either poor instalation or faulty parts. I contacted the DM and he told me just to take my car to the Fort Mill location, which I will do from this point forward.
Worse service ever! Spent over $400 on overheating issue then was told that wasnt it so now take it to dealership.
