My car broke down after hours so I had it towed to the nearest repair shop. They called me within a half hour of opening the next morning to let me know they’d diagnosed the problem and let me know the cost to the penny to repair it. I thought it was a fair price and within the next couple hours it was repaired and ready for pick up. Very nice and professional people there. I would recommend.

Joseph and his team always do a great job for me. My alternator was bad. It started to smoke in the parking lot. Anna and her fellow mechanic quickly took damage control actions to prevent damage and injury. They also replaced my alternator and checked my brakes in less than two hours. They had to wait for parts and for the old alternator to cool down.

We have been taking our cars to Joseph for years. He has always been super nice & he knows us by name. He’s very fair with pricing & his mechanic, Anna, is very good at her job. She will tell us exactly what’s wrong, or not wrong, with our cars. My husband was certain his car had a coolant leak, because he had to fill it several times. Anna checked it & found no sign of a leak. She lifted it up showed me how everything was dry & there was no coolant anywhere. It would have been easy to charge us to fix a coolant leak, but Joseph & his team are completely honest with their customers.We even took a couple of cars by, during test drives, when our daughter was looking for a used car. Joseph had Anna look at them & she told my daughter which ones not to buy & which one was a good car.We trust Anna to take great care of our cars, without trying to fix things that aren’t broken & we trust Joseph to give us a fair price.We’ll continue taking our cars to Meineke on Dave Lyle.

I came in thinking I needed a tune up and I was told all I needed was a censor that would probably fix a few of the problems I had. The point of me coming was based off an advertisement I saw for a basic oil change at $19.95 read the fine print and I advised manager of it. He was going to charge me without using the coupon saying he didn’t approve of it. It was advertised on Google through search engine and valid until 9/30/21. My car had all qualified benefits to use it. Later when it was time to pay asked him what kind of oil they put in, he said same as the one used on the coupon. He then decided he was going to honor it but made it clear the money was coming out his pocket personally and I need to call corporate and advise he the manager wasn’t approving of the Google based offer. I felt like as a first time customer who was not rude just asking them to honor what I have, he made me feel like I was an issue n in the end him helping me wasn’t kind it was just to help me leave quick as he had other ppl there. I usually go to NtB I chose this place due to oil change time slots. I will never come again or recommend that location to anyone. I called corporate as they aren’t even on my same time zone.

I am a Winthrop student and I was nervous about going to the mechanics because I had a bad experience before but Meineke was amazing to me. A professor of mine recommended the shop. My car has been making whining noise when I accelerate. Anyhow I called the shop and ask what the cost of a diagnosis would be, they told me they would test drive my car for free and let me know the issue. Anyways I went the next day to the shop, they treated me kindly, and professionally. After my car was test drove, the mechanic explained to me that it is something to do with my transmission and recommended 2 shops in the area for me. He brought me into the shop and had my car hood open and explained everything to me in understandable terms. Even though they could not completely determine the exact issue or problem I appreciate their honesty and how they treated me. I felt that they are a honest group of mechanics which is rare to find. Bc the Good Year I went to last September definitely took advantage of youth and gender and over charged me significantly. Anyhow I recommend this shop and will go to them whenever I am up in Rock Hill and need something done on my vehicle.

Took my 2003 Volvo S80 in for a tune-up and oil change because it was running rough. Joseph, Anna, and the crew took care of everything and stayed in contact with me throughout the process to make sure I knew what needed to be done and the price for repairs. Anna discovered the ignition coils were going bad so they were replaced. Service was completed the same day, and the car runs like it did the day I bought it. Top notch professionals, fast service, and reasonable prices are all the reasons my family chooses and uses the Dave Lyle location for all our vehicles.

I brought my car in for an oil change and to fix a noise that I thought was because I needed a wheel alignment. They were able to diagnose and change out my wheel bearing and replace two front tires same day. Service was great and staff very knowledgeable.

My experience was overall great, I like how you were able to schedule an appointment online rather than just showing up at the place And hoping they have an appointment with them. But I think you schedule an appointment with them is a lot more easier and it’s very efficient and they get you out at a reasonable time depending on what you need done to your car. I also think too because this place is small on the inside it doesn’t allow no more than four people to come in because of Covid.

I’m absolutely pleased and thankful for the service I received here. I took my jeep in needing an oil change but I mentioned it ran hot a few days ago and I had put antifreeze and my husband put water in but it’s still running hot. Anna did the oil change and was able to determine I had a leak in thermostat housing and below the engine but I would need to leave it with her to see where it was coming from. I was so nervous but I agreed to let her replace the thermostat housing and thermostat itself. Drove it home and it ran hot right before I turned in my apt complex. I called back and explained it’s still running hot and she explained it was the leak below the engine and asked me to bring back when I could leave it with her to take the engine apart. (I did) She was able to determine the exact location and part and luckily for me, she happen to have one already at the shop!I’m very thankful and blessed that I chose to go to Meineke for my oil change this time because she didn’t just fix one problem she fixed them all!! I have 2 small children so knowing that I can drive them safely means a lot to me and she did exactly that, restored my assurance in our safety bc the jeep is running just as great now today!

Joseph is by far the most efficient and fast mechanic shop in all charlotte and surrounding. We drove down from concord to see him and get our oil change. We tried other meinekes but they always give us bogus stuff they think we need to fix on a brand new car. Have been using Meineke for over 2 decades. Moved and went to the one on S. Herlong in Rock Hill and was disquieted with their unprofessionalism. I went there for just an oil change and when done, a manager came in & tried to convince me to do right then a 100K mile maintenance on my 2004 Honda CRV. The Honda had ONLY a little over 95k miles on it. Not only that, the price quoted was over $450. I laughed, walked out, got in my car vowing never to return to Meineke again.

This business was recommended to me and I took the chance! I took my car in and explained the issue and no time at all, they knew what to do. Took care of it in a fast, professional manner! Very friendly and prompt with the Covid restrictions. Will definitely return for more services in the future!

They put an alternator in for me I got the truck towed there it was good service but they were very expensive 30 minutes of Labor should have equal $90 to $100 per hour not hour and a half of Labor which is $160 and thats what they charge me

I came in 30 minutes before they closed, and luckily, they were able to repair my rear lights and do an oil change. They were very quick with it and gave a good price!

I got there and they diagnose the problem, which was a bad water pump, which needed to be replaced, they replaced the water pump in a reasonable amount of time, and the water pump is still working good to this day.

I went to another Meineke a few weeks ago they were trying to overcharge me to get my back brakes done. Dont know if they independently own or not but i hate when mechanics try to overcharge women. This Meineke didnt do that. Will be coming here for now on.

Had my oil changed 6 months ago and went to change the oil myself, couldn’t get it off as a result of them putting locktight on the drain plug. When I went up there to get my oil changed last week the man (Joseph) was rude and seemed to not care. Will not be back.

I’ve taken both our cars to this Meineke for all of my oil changes since moving to Rock Hill a year ago. However, I’ve not been able to get my tires rotated the last two times. If I can’t get all of my upkeep done at one place then I may end up looking for another place.
