Not my first time having a service done here but I thought that Id write a review this time. I had a tire rotation and balance and a front end alignment done. The work was honest and done quickly. Everyone was kind and friendly. I really like how the prices are straight forward and no hidden charges. A few things also caught my eye as I waited. An employee was struggling to open something and the manager kindly lended a hand. It showed me that the manager had a good heart and cared about his employees. Also, hearing another customer walk in applauding the good work that was done on his wifes car and how he wanted to have his worked on as well. This truly showed me that my car was in good hands. Thank you so much and I highly recommend to anyone else.

Im out of work. So my my money is tight. I had some problems with my rotors. A friend recommend Drums.I had the work did there at a fair price. The next day I started hearing a sound. Coming from my tire.That Ive never heard before.I took my car back.They rushed me out.Saying that I had another problem. That was causing this noise.& That I should get it fixed when I can.They never checked the work that they did on my rotors.A few days later.my tire comes off while riding down the road.Myself & a family member. Are in pain.,still to this day.3 different people have told me that they think the rotor work. Wasnt done right. Thats what caused this.& these are people that work with cars every day.The guy at the shop I got it fixed at explained. That he was sure that is what did it.for several reasons after fixing it. my lexus is messed up!I called & spoke with the owner.He said the other problem caused it.But couldnt explain why the noise started after getting the work did at his shop.Or why it stopped after the other guy fixed it.Or why the problem doesnt still exists. Seeing how I never got said problem fixed!I guess you get what you pay for!They were the cheapest. But now I have serious body damage to my car!My neck is hurting & hard to turn!& I have to ride around in a messed up car until. I can afford to get it fixed!I WOULDNT GO HERE IF I WERE YOU!! PLEASE ADVISE OTHERS THAT ARE THINKING OF DOING SO.NOT TO DO IT!

Brought 2 tires to be mounted, only for them to blow a few days later. They mounted 2 new tires, pro bono as a consolation for the blowout, and were very nice and professionalabout the whole thing.

Old School...fix flat, patch usually 20, 25.... depending on who you are or know. I bought 17in new tire.replacement for Buick Lacrosse...$130 for tire. 20 put it on. 150 total...I was back on road in 12 minutes. Old school

They took a brand new tire off of my spare, replaced it with a old tire that had wire showing and put it in my trunk. I didnt realize this until a few days later. I went there and asked where the new tire is that was on my spare. The boss said they didnt know what happened and didnt even have that size tire available in their shop. But a few minutes later my new spare tire miraculously appeared in their garage. Be careful with Drums Tire and Battery.IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE: Your shop employee did take my tire! It was a BMW tire. How do you all of a sudden pop up with a BMW tire in your shop a few days later. You took a perfectly good BMW tire off of the spare tire rim and replaced it with one of my bad tires and put it back into the trunk thinking i wouldn’t see it, but i did a few days later. Good try!!! THIEVES!!!

I buy all of my tires from Drums Tire and Battery, have for decades. Theres nothing fancy showroom and anything else about the building or their employees but that low overhead is reflected in their prices. They always have the best tires available at the lowest cost and usually same day (or instant) service. Even low profile, brand name tires are usually under $100 bucks each (based on size), plus they have a great selection of slightly used tires for dirt cheap prices. They can get any tire made, usually by the next day or sooner. They offer free rotation on all the tires they sell,at no additional fee or memberships.If you want great tires, mounted, balanced, or just repaired, Drums should be your FIRST stop. Really!

Love the people its not the cleanest or the newest shop around but fair prices fast service for how busy they are and more important to me they are honest. Had a slight issue a few months after I had a tractor tire and tube replaced wasnt sure what happened... They took it apart (not and easy job) and discovered the issue was a slight installation mistake. Gave me a new tube with installation at no cost with no question. Im a customer for life now.

Easy to spot from the main road. Compared with Burns Chevrolet/Cadillac (won by $100+) and Discount Tire (won by $50+) I called ahead and they took my car before I even made it in the door. I was in and out in under 35 minutes!

My fiancé and I were in and out in no time for a rim to be put on our spare tire today. They were friendly, prices reasonable, not to mention they actually PICK UP THE PHONE when you call before coming! Great service guys!!

I drive for Lyft/Uber this is a great place to go. I was at another place and got a puncture in a tire. They refused to fix it. These people fixed it and I have put about 20K miles on the tire and it mysteriously has not had any issues.This is a true mom and pop joint that is a great cultural gem for the area. The waiting room is a hipsters wet dream with some older machines and office equipment. Very friendly people. If you are a Yank from up north this may be a bit of a culture shock for you but hey, its good for you.

Went in because the air kept coming out of my tire.. the air came out the very next morning after they “fixed it” called and asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else but they said they don’t do refunds. took it back to them and all he did was literally put air in it.. same thing the next morning the air went down. he told me to come back in so he could take it off and look at it but that should’ve been done in the first place. didn’t go back and never will. I took it somewhere else and didn’t even tell them my situation and they said I had a “bad plug” unfortunately nobody can work over plugs so I had to get a whole new tire. Thanks drums

Best place to patch a tire. The most expensive repair they have is around 12 dollars and its only taken my 20 minutes each time. Goodyear in Lake Wylie tried to charge me 40 dollars for it.These businesses are hard to come by. Honest, fast, and cheap.

Worst place to get tires!! Beware. They put tires on my car only a few months ago. Ive had a horrible vibration since. I finally made the time to go get it checked out at the dealership, and they told me the tires were never balanced correctly when they were put on. What kind of tire place doesnt balance tires properly? Not the kind of place I want to be a customer at.

I used to get all of my cars serviced here until today!!! They are RACIST!!! I was in line and the guy behind the counter asked for my money. I tried to reach him my money but when a white lady walked in he ignored me and took her money first. I mentioned that I was next and was completely taken by this situation and he acted as though I didnt exist. As I was about to walk completely out, the lady who works behind the counter accepted my money and gave me my receipt. This was the last time me or my family will take our cars to them... If you are a minority, please BEWARE.....

Ill never go anywhere else for an alignment or balance again! This is the best place for the most amazing prices around! Im always happy with my tire services because they actually take the time to drive the car and let you know whats wrong. Ive had so much disappointment elsewhere and way too much money being thrown away. I was on the way to Columbia, SC and noticed some trembling in my steering wheel and seat, but DT&B was packed that day, so I had to result to a place on Celanese Rd. It was the worst ride to Columbia ever!!! I was extremely disappointed with my alignment and balance that I stopped at a place in Columbia to pay more money to fix their mistake. Helped a little, but not much. Took it back to the same place the next day to see if they could fix it and guess what...they tried and failed again. Today, went back to my old faithful friends at Drums Tire and Battery and $34 fixed my problem!!! Rotated and balanced. I spent $150 between 2 places for the same issue that DT&B fixed perfectly for $34!!! Never again will I rely on anyone else for this. Ill just have to have patience next time. They are definitely worth the wait.
