I went to get a tune up due to the fact that my car had smoke coming out the exhaustion and i didn’t know what was wrong with my car. We figured out the problem and the guy “temporarily fixed” the problem. Within 10 minutes of leaving the shop, my car started smoking from underneath the hood. Then I parked my car for approximately 15 minutes. I drove my car for 20 more minutes and it wasn’t smoking at all so i thought the problem went away. Next thing i knew a new light came on in my car that I’ve never seen before. Next thing i knew my car wouldn’t accelerate pass 20 mph and my engine started thumping. Now every time i crank my car up, it takes a couple of seconds for it to turn all the way on and my engine is still thumping. Literally a waste of money. I went to try to fix towards the problem just for it to get worse than what it was.

They took the time to show my 3 year old grandson a super fast truck because he ( grandson )loves cars. Thank you all for the wonderful service and the kindness. Highly recommendable

Im from out of town and needed a few things check out before leaving these guys by far the best shop Ive ever taken my 2003 Toyota Tacoma too. my rig means the world to me so finding somebody that does great work at a fair price leaves me speechless. great customer service, will let you know every step of the way whats going on and if they run into any problems on the way will verify all of that with you before moving forward. take pictures of your vehicle and can show you right then and there what your the problem is. they are good people these people arent out to cheat anyone. Everybody was super helpful! I was stressed about money and they had me see if I was approved for a financing option and was instantly approved and able to get fixed what I needed to. Even in the middle of the afternoon they worked hard to get it done so I was able to have my car back the same day! I appreciate everyone here and will be back in the future!

Everything was awesome except I scheduled an online appointment for 11:30 and my car didn’t go in the shop until 12:45. I ended up being there 3 1/2 hours for a coolant flush. Fix your appointment system or don’t have one.

I got a routine oil change and paid around $70. I recently tried to get my oil changed somewhere else and it took the technician 30 mins to get the bolt off because the men at meineke stripped the bolt. I now have a oil plug that costed me and extra hour and and extra $20 just for a plug. They might get your oil changed fast but it might cost you later on.

They were nice and did fine, I was just there for 2 hours when it should’ve only taken 15-20 minutes.

My car broke down in the middle of driving home the other night. We got it towed to our house and the next day we were looking for mechanics to work on it. First, if you live 5 miles or closer to them they will get someone to tow your car free of charge to the shop.The tow company that came to tow my car to their shop was awesome and showed up promptly. Once my car got to the shop, Drake called me and talked me through everything that was wrong with my car. They didn’t try to up charge or up sale anything, they fix the problem that I went in for. This was the first time I have ever gone to a mechanic shop and them not try to tell me more was wrong with my car than what I went in for. This itself was refreshing and I felt I could trust them Because of this. My car was fixed the same day and now it’s running perfectly. I definitely have found a new mechanic for my husbands car and my own! Would definitely recommend them in the future

Took over an hour to change oil and filter after car went into the service bay I watched as the technician bumped car door against the lift colum and wondered around the shop talking to other tech. Was told it takes that long because they have to do an inspection. The inspection was they took about 12 pictures of car 5 minutes tops. Will not go back. Too much laughing and joking with employees

It was mid afternoon on a Saturday, I was out of town and noticed the entire back of my car was covered in oil! After being parked for about an hour there was oil under my car! By the time I got my car to Meinicke there was no oil left in it. I barely made it. Although they were busy they realized it was a matter of safety and I absolutely could not go anywhere so they took a look . They had to be quite the investigators and finally discovered a hose had a tiny hole in it they sent to AutoZone to get a replacement part and fixed my car so I could come home. The guy even de grease the back of my car as well as the under carriage. While waiting, the employees (especially the girl at the counter) were extremely friendly and I had no idea three hours had passed. I would 100% recommend this Meineke to other people!

My appointment was at 5:15pm, scheduled the day before. Well when I arrived at 5pm, 15 mins earlier than my scheduled appointment time. I was asked by the young lady at the desk am I able to leave my car overnight? I informed her “No” that this is my only form of transportation. Then she asks am I able to bring it back in the morning? I told her “No” because I have to work and asked why? She states they are not accepting any more vehicles today because they are full from “walk ins” that came before me and it’s first come first serve and they close at 6pm. WoW! What is the reason for scheduling an appointment if I’m just going to be turned away because someone walked in before me! It doesn’t make since to me at all and my time was wasted. I’m disappointed in this location and have been there several times before and never had this problem. I will take my service else where, what an inconvenience and stupid policy!

Overall experience was good. Great service and great people. However, I got my oil changed a few days ago and was told they’d call if anything additional needed to be done to my car. I didn’t not receive a call. But I did receive a report saying I need a new air filter because mine was completely done. Personally, I’ve never gotten my oil changed and wasn’t told I needed a new air filter. This felt unprofessional, and I feel attention should have been brought to the situation, rather than just reading the report after you leave the shop.

Went in for a 60 dollar oil change. They charged me 85 dollars. Beacuse they ran out of stock for my car and charged me 15 dollars extra for a different one. Said I could bring in my own oil filter next time.There wont be a next time.

I wasn’t satisfied with my service this time because I had made an appointment on the app for an oil change, a tuneup and a air conditioner check but when I got there I was told that the only thing that could be done was the oil change because all the bays were full and was told that appointments made on the app are not checked and the oil cap wasn’t put back on. I don’t live in the town where this Meineke is located. So it was an inconvenience for me to have to go there to get the oil cap replaced but the manager who I talked to about this when I called apologized and promised to handle this situation quickly and to make it right

I pulled in with no brakes at all. Had to pump them to stop. They advised me of every step. They didnt take long to tell me what the problem was and the cost to fix it. They fixed the problem in about an hour. They were very professional and made sure I understood what the problem was and what they did to fix it. I would use them again and recommend them. So far my AC is working,have to take it back Friday to make for certain I have no leaks,great service so far.Update,my AC Worked for approximately 1 week and now its back to hot air only,recheck could not find and evidence of a leak,I ordered one of the Freon leak sniffer in order to find my leak,sniffer is supposed to come in today,will update after I look for it,a waste of 143.10 for repair.

Oil changed and brakes checked. Another automotive center recently said brakes needed replacement, Meineke said they still had 50% on the brake pads. Impressed, not taken for a ride.

I brought my mother car in to meineke to figure out the many issues the car(2000 Buick lesabre) was having. They came highly recommend from people have done business with them before The WHOLE staff was very welcoming and friendly. Their website lists a $19.95 basic oil change. NOT TRUE...the invoice I received states $29.99 for a basic oil change. Thats before all the unstated add-ons that bump the final price to $47.84. False advertising does not warrant return business.

They were fast, friendly, and cooperative with work asked to be done that was a little non typical. There electronic report with notes on the photos was very nice nice and efficient for filing & keeping personal records. I like this much more than the response I got from a local reputable dealership when I requested a report we will let you know if anything comes up or near future yet I had a warranty voided because of several items not performed or informed of that were standard manufacturer services!

I received an front end alignment, for some reason they went under my hood and remove a cap to something and left it sticking out from under my hood. When I asked about it, I got some ridiculous explanation now my car hesitates while driving...im taking my car to another shop to see why this part was removed...it is safe to say that this is my first and last trip to this place

I needed brakes and rotors on my BMW.I did receive a few estimates. I am a very customer driven person and enjoyed talking with Mike.They got the job and even gave me a loaner during the repair.I did not feel pressured and the facility was clean and well organized. I was explained in detail of the needed repairs and given options by one of the technicians and given an estimate. I told them I wanted to take some time before making my decision.I wasnt home 10 minutes before calling Mike and told them to book the job.To top it all off the car was completed when promised and it cost almost 80.00 cheaper than estimated.They now have a customer for life. Valvoline full synthetic costs $60, you stay in your car, and takes them 15 minutes. At Meineke, I was the only customer there, full synthetic cost $90, and took the 4 guys 45 minutes.... again, while I was the only customer there lol.

Today I went in, my brakes were grinding and Carie, was so helpful at the front desk. She explained everything that they would do, then Cory looked at my car and explained what needs to be done. It was tough when the final verdict came in and the price! They both worked to get my car out the door and for me to afford the work done. I had to have new break pads and rotors place on my back tires. Due to the holidays and me being sick I didnt have time to take care of it sooner nor could I do it myself. I had got off work around 3 the day before Christmas eve and I tried to get a hold of someone to do it but no one could fix it not even my family members. I bought the parts still trying to get a hold of someone when my father called and mentioned Meineke. I drove over to them thinking I have nothing else to lose. I am not at all familiar with Rock Hill or any of shops there so I didnt know how things were going to go. As soon as I walked in around 4 Im greeted and I ask if they are able to take care of my car and they said YES. They told me all that they were doing and even cleaned my head lights off so I could drive safe since it was getting dark. The put the pads on and the rotors before test driving my car to check and make sure everything was in order. The saved my tail before Christmas hit and before everyone was going to close. Everyone at Meineke is super friendly and my car drives way better with no squeaks or rattling. It was an overall great experience.

I appreciate that they were quick and accommodating and did not try to give me a bunch of services I didn’t need. An synthetic oil change was only around $35 (with coupon). This is honestly the best car shop Ive found since moving to the Carolinas six years ago. Not only do they have fantastic customer service but they also have very reasonable pricing and even payment options if its too big of a job. They tell you what is needed to be done from most crucial to least and help set you up on a plan of attack. I will gladly come here with my personal vehicle and even my work truck because I know if something needs to be done, it will be done right. Great in and out service. Cheap oil change but good quality

After dropping my car off; 3 missed opportunities to communicate with me about issues with car, what was needed, extending the time and day it would be ready.I had a brake booster replaced. Additionally two parts were purchased that were never discussed with meIn the beginning or during the repair.I was contacted when the car was “ready to be picked up”. Upon picking the vehicle up, I found the hood not closed all the way (safety issue), then as I drove off, I got half a block away from the store and the engine light came on. When stopping to return to store regarding the engine light, I literally stood on the pedal to stop from descending highway speeds(again another safety issue).Once I returned to the store and spoke with the Manager, I waited another 1.75 hours for them to fix the cylinder misfire which caused the engine light to come on (knocked loose a spark plug wire during repair) and then find and fix the vacuum leak that also occurred during repair.Then keys returned and after all this, no thoughts given to possibly refunding any money for additional trouble or safety issues. Car repair due to be a 1.5 day job turned into a 4 day job and wasn’t right when I picked it up causing almost 2 more hours in delays of getting back my vehicle with repairs properly done.I am sure not all Meineke shops are like this, but I will look elsewhere to have repairs done next time in Rock Hill, SC, where I live and this occurred.

They tried to charge me an hour labor @ $58 for a job that I ended up taking elsewhere and having done in 15 minutes for less than a third the labor charge. Plus the individual working the check in counter was not at all knowledgeable.

This place was awesome, its very fair with prices. The owner was great and the service advisor Tia went out of her way to help me. She gave me water while I waited and sold me on the meineke brand. I encourage people to give it a try.

I took the car in and told them what I thought it was. The technician did a full overview of my vehicle and called me and explained to me what the issue was. They repaired it and called when it was ready. I also received an email with details and pictures.
