Went in search of Naan and was not disappointed. Bought 3 GIANT homemade pieces - also, and perhaps more importantly - picked up 12.99 Saffron which is a steal.Selection is good if you are looking for specific things for your next curry. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable!

Unique store, exotic food stuffs

Business has been slow since previous owner left nearly dozen years ago.

Great place for Indian spices, prepared meal items (wish there were more vegan items, so much Indian food had ghee or cream or done other dairy. They have a wide selection of Indian breads I the freezers, samosas and other good stuff.

They have expired items on shelf. I’ve been here twice. Once in 2015 and once again today. And the first time, I had mold growing in my food (mango pulp can). I thought maybe it’d be a one time thing and maybe things changed. Second time, right before I actually purchased, I checked expiration date and things were as old as March 2019! Months old!! To the owners, please check before putting anything on the shelf!! I really wish I could give a 0!!!! Considering other reviews are much older than mine, the owners HAVE to be aware of what they’re doing. This is pure negligence at this point.

Good selection for the footprint and location. There are larger stores in Henrietta but this one is convenient, the guy whos usually chilling behind the counter is nice enough, and the spice selection is terrific.

Visited store. Love new menu board Cant wait for them to put a la carte items on menu for individual purchase.Food is delicious as always.

The packaged food here is expired beyond 3 months. And the cashier is still okay saying, Take it if you want it.

I can never get enough of this unique and fragrant store. They have an array of fresh produce and spices, frozen goods and dry. Theyve got bollywood movies and inscence galour! And some of the kindest customer service Ive ever experienced! Theyve been here in Rochester for decades and its easy to see why. Love it!

This review is of the grocery store across the street from the restaurant. It is a shame that they are being reviewed as one. In short, much of the inventory of the store is years old. I have bought spices here and found them ok, but noticed that they were quite old. If you buy here, look at the dates stamped on the packages. I hope that the managment of the store rectifies this problem.

The have lots of good finds

The store was unclean. Entering the store itself said it doesnt have great things, wierd smell inside the store. I checked few shelves and the products lie there since years I guess it was so dirty. Checked the frozen section, think they pack the left overs from their restaurant and sell it as frozen lunch. Everything looks old. Finally I thought I can buy some ready to eat Rotis and grabbbed a pack and checked the date the product says Best before December 2016 I thought thats crazy and grabbed another pack that read Best before August 2016 and I visited the store on 6th February 2017. No wonder the look of the store says it all. Never again.
