Great food and wonderful staff. I usually come here 1/4 times per week.The sweet potato mashed potatoes are delicious( my favorite)... and the jerk chicken is absolutely amazing!Recently found out that they do breakfast as well. Very excited to try that next.Shout out to Jennifer and Jamani... they are amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.Update: The Breakfast sandwiches are SCRUMPTIOUS 😋Kudos!👍🏾🥰

The people are nice great customer service. Today i went early and my ribs tasted like lighter fluid, my jerk chicken tho always on point.Also there was a food truck there Peachs Ice cream the tea was great. I could tell it not Lipton. Its down home New Orleans tea.

Whew Absolutely NOT. First time EVER trying something new. Got the ribs, cabbage, baked Mac and cheese(Got the cabbage because he said theres no potato salad) and was supposed to get a piece of corn bread that was never placed on my take out. Anywho. Let me get to the HONEST truth. The ribs taste old, not all the way cooked, they were dried up and gummy. But the outer was burnt. The baked Mac and cheese taste like nothing... The cabbage were just awful. What an experience and I NEVER do reviews but I had to for this one. Ugh what a waste of money. Will not be going back. EVER.

I would definitely rent a U-haul again from here. They were all helpful and understanding when we were 20 minutes over our rental time. No surprise fee or anything. Plus there is delicious food once youre done moving.

I love this place, I’ve tasted a lot of items on their menu, but I’d have to say my favorite is the cabbage rolls.

The sauce is really good but I’ve been here on 3 different occasions. Twice I’ve had to bring the food back because it was cold and burnt. The third time, I watched him take the food off the grill, when I opened it when I got back to my car, it was cold. Leading me to believe the food was from yesterday. They have potential though.

4.5 out of 5. Great jerk wings with sauce, yams and cabbage are also pretty good too. Mac and cheese could be better and has the potential to be. Should fix the menu if it doesn’t comes with 2 sides instead of 3 for the number 2 combo.

1st thing you have got to do better potato salad was horrible tasted like it was pre made from Walmart the ribs had the lining on the back that should be removed before cooking and was fatty as hell it took 45 mins for me to get my prepaid food. As black people with bbq you have got to do better bro no shade just stating facts

Had the ribs, jerk chicken; so delicious, with that smoky flavor thats hard to get without burnt bits! The cabbage, yams, macaroni were all great sides. I admit, the fried corn wasnt for me, but I was admittedly expecting corn fritters (its not, Its kind of like fried rice, but with corn). Everything they recommended was amazing. Definitely now on my roster.

Have you ever went over to a friends house to eat and the food was just no good. That happened to me at JRib. It was horrible the ribs were burnt, dry, tasted like lighter fluid and as if they were left over from yesterday or the before, horrible. He should have been ashamed to serve me what I was served.. Never agoain.

Rented a uhaul truck and car trailer from here. The owner made extra effort to get me both from his location. He was professional and very helpful.

Portions were horrible. Only had one item Available. Prices are way to high for mediocre food.

I Love the new state convenience store on 400 State street! The owner Jesse has such an momentum vision on what he calls the Empire project in which hes expand the store! The manager Dan, is a hard worker and dedicated! The State convenience store is growing amazingly!

My team and I love going to State Street Convenience! The owner has a phenomenal personality and carries great conversation. He genuinely cares about the community and the people in it. We need more business owners that share similar traits and qualities if we truly want to progress and gradually change lives with kind and encouraging words from community leaders.

Im from out of town staying at local hotel near by. Went to get contact solution and they didnt have it so the owner went in his car and got us some within 5 minutes!! So friendly and awesome service!!

If i could give you 0 stars i would. The place is not clean the owners are rude and the food is never ready. I waste more time trying to get food then i do to get it. No more, If you dont know how long food takes to cook then dont make it.

Walked in to inquire about U-Haul rental- I think I had gotten the most friendliest and real honest service I have ever received in Rochester. I was greeted with great energy and smiles and I respect that has been missing in service for years. You know it was legit cuz they did it without effort nor script.I will give you a heads up that theyre convenient store only has a few snacks and 20 oz drinks. But the smell of the barbecue was amazing!! I cant put my finger on it but there is something very special about this seemingly haphazard business that makes sense a priority in patroning.You know you had great service when you walk out the door and you have that stupid grin stuff on your face anyone want to buy something just because.
