Dave and Matt were both outstanding! I called to schedule an appointment. I actually scheduled based off the reviews and they accepted my optical insurance. I am always hesitant with patronizing a new place for my care. However they were really kind when I called on the phone and when I came into the store it was the best service from start to finish. I’ve been long overdue with my vision care and I was able to get an appointment within days and I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to get an updated prescription and picked 2 cute glasses!You should patronize this location as you will be taken care of well from start to finish. I recommend this stores management train all SEE staff in the regional area. Dave is absolutely exceptional. Matt is outstanding. He helped me select the perfect glasses. I will be back.

Ive bought 3 awesome pairs of glasses from SEE Eyewear in downtown Rochester. All 3 times I worked with Dave. He is very personable, and knowledgeable. He has a great eye for knowing what goes with face shapes which is very helpful. The store is well kept and organized with a tremendous selection. I bought 1 regular pair, and 2 different pairs of sunglasses. Very happy with the service and my 3 great pair of glasses. Thanks Dave.

My Mom needed to have the frames on her eyeglasses straightened out, because they were cockeyed. We received very friendly and expert help from Irene, on the spot. She went above and beyond the call of duty to see that the job was done precisely and quickly. We will return to SEE when we need help with our glasses!

Tried out SEE Eyewear in downtown Rochester for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised with their selection and their high-level of customer service. I worked with Dave, who is amazing, knowledgeable and wonderful. He selected a number of frame options for me to try on and helped me select two pair of frames that I LOVE. Will be back!

AWESOME experience! It was time for me to find a new pair of glasses and Irene was SUPER helpful in helping me shop! Im a very indecisive shopper, so it takes me lots of time to shop, especially for the right pair of glasses. Irene gave me helpful and honest feedback about the different frames I tried on. I had a GREAT experience at SEE. I needed new glasses quickly, as my puppy had chewed mine up the day prior. I went into the Somerset location on Valentines day, and though they were busy, I was given excellent customer service by Dave, who normally works at the Rochester store. He spent time with me, helping me try on as many frames as I wanted, and gave me honest (and witty) feedback. I could tell he really wanted me to love my new glasses.They shipped quickly, and were perfect upon arrival. I couldnt be happier with my entire experience, and will definitely be going back!

I love my glasses and am so proud to wear them. David was my stylist and he was extremely professional in helping to select, putting the orders in and measuring and fitting, not to mention just an all-around great guy to interact with. The other women were also very helpful and personable. I definitely will go back for glasses in the future. Customer service was over the top. It doesn’t get any better than this. Doctor, you have a wonderful team, thank you!

I cant begin to say enough about the service I always receive at See. I cant thank Dave for helping me with my order, and getting my appointment with my favorite Dr. A. such a great place to shop for glasses and contacts, and eye exams! Dave is great, he is always so helpful! More business should pattern themselves like this!!! I wouldnt go anywhere else!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Took my glasses in for a routine adjustment to Rochester Store. Manager broke frame. Was not allowed to pick out a replacement. Was told I had to go with a frame that would accommodate my current lenses. Only available in green, purple and spotted. Took a week of numerous calls to customer service and the store for them to FINALLY agree to allow me to pick out a new frame that I would feel comfortable wearing in public (new lenses would have to be made which made this option more expensive). I was also disrespected by one staff member who upon finding out I wouldn’t wear the colors they picked for me told me “Oh, I see you only want a new FREE pair “….and further telling me I should be grateful because he was “talking to me on his day off”. I originally spent $600 on my glasses that THEY broke and they tell me I’m getting “free” glasses and I should be grateful! Laughable. Also still waiting to hear back from “the big boss” from corporate after I wrote to them regarding my experience. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life.

Customer service is not as good as the somerset location. Still the products are consistent between locations. Love the frames they offer. Their sales associates are all stylists and make sure you walk out with a pair of glasses/sunglasses that not only look good on you but fit your personality.Eye doctor is very personable and friendly. When I met with him he wasnt satisfied with 20/20 vision for me and went beyond to make sure I was seeing 20/15.Contacts came in in less than a business week and I was called immediately when they arrived.

Stopped by to see if they could adjust my frame as temple loose. Have no idea why but the gentleman working there for some reason decided to remove both lenses. He then handed them back to me with only one lens in place to see if he had placed it in front of the proper eye. He had not. I handed them back to him and he tried it again. Second time still not right . I started to actually panic and worried if something had suddenly happened to my sight and also wondered if he had broken my glasses. Finally, on the third try he finally placed them properly. I called the next day to inform the manager that perhaps the employee needed more training. Stunned to find that she was not only NOT receptive to hearing about my experience, but condescending and argumentative with me as well leaving me exasperated and sorry I had called. Had bought several pairs of glasses there in the past but would never consider returning with customer service like that.

This place is great. I went to a doctor at Sams Club and then picked out a pair of glasses at See. The glasses I picked up were no good though and See said to go back to my doctor. I did and the doctor said the prescription was right. I went back to See and they had their doctor examine me for free and it turns out the doctor at See didnt know what they were doing. See redid my glasses for free and they are perfect.

Worst experience Ive ever had with my glasses!!!First, I would like to say Ive worn glasses/contacts for years and that I own a retail business that provides excellent customer service and I understand that sometimes not everyone is happy but there is always a way to solve a problem or appease an unhappy person without ever being rude.Ive been to a couple different optometrists and offices around where I live. I found a great doctor but the frame selection is not too good, so on a recommendation, I went to S.E.E. in Somerset Mall, they were awesome. My glasses were perfect and they were done relatively quickly. Ive moved a little farther away from there now so this year when my puppy ate my glasses and I needed to replace them, I went to S.E.E. in the village in Rochester Hills. My first visit was very friendly and quick since I didnt even need new frames, just replacing my chewed up pair. I was told it would be about two weeks for my new glasses to arrive, no big deal, thats about how long it takes anywhere.Almost 3 weeks went by...no phone call, no contact, nothing. So I called to see how it was going. I was told they would check the status and get right back to me later that day or the next. Nothing, AGAIN! So again, I called to see what was going on and was given little information but was told they were in progress and should be done very soon. Almost 2 weeks later (so now were just under 5 weeks) I finally received a phone call that they were finished and I could pick them up. Being a little annoyed and desperate to have my glasses back since I was sick of wearing my contacts so much and cant see without one or the other, headed straight down to pick them up.The girl at the desk was very very friendly and very nice when I picked up the glasses but hardly apologetic that it took so long. I explained to her that I wasnt even really bothered by the time that it took to get the glasses so much as I was bothered by the pure lack of communication and customer service from their store. She was very polite and said she would relay the message to her manager since she didnt have the authority to make any decisions which I completely understood.After being told that I was all set, I walked out the door, got in my car and left. About 3 minutes later, I received a call from SEE to let me know that they made a mistake and had a small remaining balance for my glasses which I paid. I have no problem paying for things I buy, but get it together! The lack of communication and organization is horrible!The next day I received a call from a female manager to let me know that she had heard about my complaint. I began through the timeline and story with her and politely informed her of my displeasure with the whole process. Expecting her to at least be apologetic, I was floored when she responded with nothing but excuses, a rude tone and actually at one point she literally had nothing to say in response to on of my complaints, with not so much one mention of an apology for the inconvenience.Again, I politely informed her that I was very unhappy with the service I received and also informed her that I would never visit S.E.E. ever again.
