When i purchased my first car, I decided to come to this shop because one of my friends were hired as a detailer here, and he spoke positive things about the mechanics that worked here.My friend no longer works there, he left to work at a shop that specializes in custom detail work. However, I still come here.Ive been having service done on my sentra for roughly 5 years now. I never had a problem with staff or the owner, Ryan, while having my car serviced there. Not once have I ever felt like i was being deceived or lied in regards to the condition of my vehicle. And yes, they have earned my trust.Quotes for repairs are fair, and the quality of work done is excellent.Now that i have another car, I have no problem reaching out to them if I have any questions or concerns.Also, Ive read some of the lower star reviews, and to be honest the scenarios painted feel very out of character for the staff. And honestly, Im pretty sure only one side of the story is being told. The one in favor of the reviewer.

Ryan and the team at Redi Imports are by far the best mechanics and shop in Rochester. They are always very professional, affordable, and practice excellent communication skills. I have been going there for about two years since I bought my Mercedes and trust me when I say, they do immaculate work. Even if you have some rumbling in your car, they will diagnose it TRUTHFULLY and provide you with recommended services. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL... during my experience with Ryan, I was insulted and talked to like a child. Long story short I took my car there for a part to be fixed I paid upfront the amount I was quoted for the repair which was guaranteed by Ryan. Unfortunately due to some issue, the part could not be repaired after I already paid in full. I was told I would get a refund, but it unreasonably lower than what I paid. When I confronted Ryan and asked for clarity I was told “ I’m not losing money over you”. “ it’s not my fault you don’t know how cars work”. All I wanted was to receive most of my money back since I was assured it would be fixed. I expected more from this shop. Completely unprofessional and it doesnt make sense why I couldnt receive most of my money back after my car wasnt fixed at all. Ive been in the car scene for a while and this is by far the worst experience of unprofessionalism Ive encountered. If you want to get work done on your imports seek a different shop.

I’ve been taking my BMW and Mini here for service for a few years now. Recently I purchased an older Honda Civic in need of numerous repairs that had been sitting for over a year! Redi Imports diagnosed every problem and had the car ready for state inspection without a problem. I then drove the 01 Honda all the way to south Florida’s without an incident! I was so happy and so was my son when I gave him the car. I highly recommend Redi Imports for any and all types of automotive services! I was visiting the Rochester area when my car needed some unexpected repairs. Not being from here I did a Google search, and read the reviews from previous customers. So I am grateful for those comments, because I really am happy, and relieved I chose Redi Imports to work on my vehicle. Every single one of the staff members like Alexa and Libby were friendly, professional, and thorough. Jed the shop manager who took me on a test drive, was patient in answering my questions, and was very helpful in making sure I understood some of the basic mechanics of my car. I thank each and every one of them sincerely for a job well done.

This place does great work. They were able to take my car in on short notice for a full clutch replacement just a few days before I had to leave for a 4000 mile road trip. Every other place I called needed at least two weeks to get my car in. Redi Imports completed all of the repairs using OEM parts within the extremely tight time frame I had. I highly recommend them!

Brought vehicle in for NYS. Did the work I was informed was required to pass because we cant afford to have the shop do the work for us right now, but, based on the inspectors discretion, vehicle still will not pass. Its either legal or it isnt. I especially appreciated being told how they would have done a much better job by the owner when I did as we discussed to get the car to pass. Yes, I am a former Ford line tech so have some mechanical ability. Conflicting stories from what I was told and what was communicated to my son. Now were forced to spend more to correct what the inspector isnt comfortable with so we can just get our sticker and get this over with already. As if inspection time isnt stressful enough. I could almost live with all that were it not for insulting the work we did. He did not even personally see it. Pretty disappointed with our experience. Will look at other shops going forward.Edit:I was asked by Ryan to please update my review since after all it is how he feeds his children and pays his bills so since you asked... After you spoke to my son, told him hes not welcome at your store and hung up on him, you called me immediately after to ask me to leave a better review. Really?? First of all, my son has been nothing but civil. I wrote the review, he did not. All he did was state while he was happy with the work he didnt appreciate your former comment to me and for that you are rude, tell him he is no longer welcome at your shop and hang up on him. You deserved the response you received from him during our conversation. What a petty and ridiculous thing to do really. By the way Ryan, I dont recall you mentioning that you told my son hes not welcome at your store before asking for a revised review. So in kind Ryan, let me just say you are not welcome to call us again and dont worry you will not see us at your store again. Business must be very good to so cataclysmically decimate a customer relationship. In fact, in this case, Im happy to concede that you really did do a much better job.

Id like to start off this review by giving credit where it’s due. The customer service provided by the technician and front desk assistant were fantastic and very kind people who wanted to make sure the job was done right. The owner of the company Ryan P. Lynch was nothing of the sort.I needed to get my car inspected and I chose Redi Imports as theyre local and Ive been going to them for the past 3 years to get routine work done and inspections. There havent been any complaints up until this year; the only difference is that the previous 2 years the owner Ryan did not insert himself into the work being done. Its also important to note that I decided to loop my father into the mix as he is an experienced Ford technician that has over 20 years of experience in the field of work as I know if he backs up a mechanic and the work they do I can too.The beginning of this fiasco started when Ryan told my father misleading information; for this reason there was some severe misunderstanding. We were both told If we clean up the rotors and brakes and fix the coil spring it will pass inspection so we did exactly that and ended up cleaning the rotors and best as we could possibly have done as well as fixed the spring. After the work was done and the second inspection happened, the car was failed again which came as a surprise to me and my father. This time it was due to the work that we did not being sufficient which was surprising to us.Up until this point we were almost completely in agreement and were willing to work with them to have the car pass inspection but then my father received a call by Ryan stating the work we did was not very good and We could have done a much better job. One important fact of the matter is that Ryan was not in the office and didn’t see the work himself because he out of the office. He stated the rotors we in the same condition as they were before which was simply not true.After being insulted we decided to just let them finish the inspection as Ryan stated he would waive the final safety inspection cost (10 whole dollars) for his miscommunication. We fixed the problems with the car again by buying brand new rotors so it would pass and thankfully the third time the car was passed. I wasnt terribly happy with Ryans comment towards my father but I thought everyone who wasnt him did a great job and was quite happy excluding when Ryan included himself into the inspection.This brings me to the straw that not only broke the camel’s back but gave the camel irreparable back damage that left the camel hospitalized for the rest of their life. Ryan decided it would be a good idea to call me and my father after the third inspection took place to have us change our previous review and see how we enjoyed our experience with Redi Imports. I stated in a very reasonable and calm way that I liked the work that the technician did however I did not appreciate what he said to my father. This statement made Ryan very upset and proceeded to be very sarcastic until he ended the call abruptly stating Sorry for the inconvenience, youre no longer welcome here and then hung up on me, which was completely out of left field.Ryan then called my father to complain how he had left them a 2 star review after insulting us on our work, which we actually planned on updating after the third inspection. However Ryan again acted incredibly unprofessional on the call to my father stating that he has a family to feed and that we misinterpreted everything he said.If you feel like using Redi Imports Id recommend them with one exception and that is to make sure Ryan P. Lynch is in no way, shape, or form involved in the work being done on your vehicle. Im sure Ryan is reading this and will reply saying how We did everything we could to fix the issue but for the reader of this review please know he is very sarcastic and condescending when you dont agree with his every word. I don’t know what he was going through at the time but it’s never acceptable to take it out on a customer.

Took in my Charger Scatpack in for a exhaust upgrade and they did a great job! I wish I had of asked the guys name who worked on my car because I would ask for him next time in need work done there. The sound of my car now is awesome and it’s definitely a better driving experience. I went there because of all of the good reviews and this is just another one. Another great thing was they did it in a fair amount of time. I didn’t wait that long at all. The person at the desk was very nice and they had a good car show on the tv. Highly recommend!

Honestly..I love Redi Imports. Great Customer Service, efficient work, good hours, and good people. However, the owner Ryan is incredible, nice, and honestly an amazing person. I was in the transition of my jobs and I had a small emergency situation with my car. I had no money to pay him but the repair was needed, and if not fixed the cost later would have been much more. Through a verbal agreement, Ryan let me pay him later for the repair, and I couldnt have been happier. Now my car is working, my new job is going great and i have paid back Ryan for his incredible services. This is not a regular things for me to put a review, but when I do its because of the amazing people and business that I went too! :)

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I could sit here and write an hour long review but I promise you, Im only writing this review so this doesnt happen to someone else. I am not angry, nor do I have any ill will towards anyone working at this place. All I can say is I felt defeated today! The owner treated me terrible. I went in here for a diagnostic for a suspected transmission issue (this was a second opinion, also diagnosed by another shop). Not only did they not properly diagnose my issue, they performed a motor mount repair and cleaned the throttle body. (I approved, because they said it could be the cause and it was not safe to drive otherwise). When I got my car back, not only was my transmission concerns never addressed or fixed, but now my car is WORSE. Its surging, high rpms, high idle, hard shifting, automatically going into cruise control, and more. I will be taking them to court but please dont make this review be in vein, these people charged me $500+ during a pandemic to make my car worse than it was, then the owner laughed in my face and told me to go screw myself and called the police on me. I am a God fearing man, I promise you I am not upset about any money, I believe that these people will reap what they sow, a hundred times over. I will end this by saying that, if I had done something to these people in the past or offended them, then I would understand this treatment, but Ive spent thousands of dollars in repairs at this shop, so theres no reason. I am a young african american man, and Im not saying that race was a factor here, I say that only in case it was(please dont let that affect your judgement). The owner of this shop should be ashamed of himself, as a person, he owes me nothing, but he has to answer to God! And if youve read this far, I apologize for the length, and have a blessed day.Edit After Owners response: Haha you are a blatant liar but dont worry, I paid to get it looked at today (9/24) and found out exactly what you did to my car. You messed with the wrong person, because I have more than enough evidence to build a strong case against you. And your response did nothing but help, see you in court buddy lol

Great small business here. BMW oil change for ~60% of what the dealer would charge. In and out in 45 minutes. The customer waiting area is ... spartan. But if you can live with that its an honest/reputable shop. Ill be taking my car there for most things going forward.

I brought my car here after my brother strongly recommended them and my car reached a point where I no longer felt safe driving it. I knew my brakes were in terrible shape and it just generally sounded awful. Both of the guys I talked to (Ryan on the phone beforehand and Tim when I dropped it off) were very patient when I was trying to describe what was wrong.I dropped it off close to their closing time, so they checked it out the next day, and Ryan gave me a call around 10:30 AM. He gave me a clear explanation of what was going on with the car and what the highest priorities were and how much everything would cost, and we worked out a plan for what was going to be done first (if youre interested, they changed the oil; repaired loose heat shields; and replaced the alternator drive belt, rear brakes, and a lug nut that broke while removing a tire). This was all done by 4:00 the same day. When I came in to pick it up, Ryan broke down everything they did and why and we also talked about what needed to be done next. I made an appointment on the spot to get my front brakes done.I have never felt so at-ease when it comes to car repairs, but these guys are just fantastic, and I know I can trust them implicitly. I will never take my car anywhere else for anything ever again. The only negative thing I can even think to mention would be their hours (I was originally planning on taking my car in on a Saturday, but theyre closed weekends), but thats such a minor issue that its not even worth taking a star away. Just work around the hours, its worth it.Also, they have a dog there! Awesome.

Had new brake pads and rotors installed here before and a couple weeks later had lowering springs installed along with an alignment. Called at 11:00am to see if they can install the springs the same day and Ryan was able to fit me into the schedule right away along with a loaner car!!!!!! They are very professional and friendly and obviously love doing what they do. The alignment they did is perfect. If youre looking for a professional shop with a competitive rate, this is the place to go. I will defnitely take my car here for future work. (Also, I love the louie the dog!).

These things are hard to find in any shop these days, and even harder in smaller shops, now that dealership prices are driving people to look for small shops, and some will take advantage that its either us, or its the dealer mentality. Not so at Redi Imports. Ryan is a hard-working owner/mechanic who will bend over backwards and will do anything to make his customers happy. He explains everything to them so they feel comfortable spending their money to get their car fixed. Hell put in longer hours to get it right, and will make sure that his employees are schooled and knowledgeable enough to get it done right the first time.This may sound like a buddy-buddy type of endorsement, but it also comes from an industry eye. As a former tech, Ive seen it all myself. Ive worked in small shops, specialty shops, dealerships, muffler shops, etc. Ive see all sorts of owners, Ive seen the hack technicians try to cut corners, and Ive seen the best technicians know exactly how to fix things and be able to explain it to me/the customer/owner/etc. As a former tech, I have a hard time trusting any shop to work on my vehicles, but I will always take my cars to Ryan and his crew when I cant fix something or dont have the time to do it, because I know itll be done to my standards. When I drop my car off with Ryan and Co. at Redi, I rest easy knowing that my vehicle is in good hands, and you should feel the same way too.

Poor customer service. Would be 1 star but the woman I spoke to on the phone was very kind and helpful. The mechanic / owner who I spoke with was unhelpful and blatantly rude. I will not bring my vehicle here again.Update: The previous owner of my vehicle brought it to Redi. When I called and spoke with the owner he was rude and condescending to me. As a business that requires selling a positive customer experience as well as quality service, this was surprising to me. I have not and will not bring my car in simply due the feeling I walked away with after speaking on the phone - I cannot speak to their technical skills, only their customer service.

I HIGHLY recommend REDi Imports on so many levels.I give them an A++ for their customer care, quality of workmanship, timeliness, great rates, genuine honesty, and willingness to work with my budget and schedule. I feel like I am a family member being very well taken care of in every way possible. After moving to Rochester from Pittsburgh without knowing who to call my new mechanic, I followed a recommendation from a friend and I am SO happy that I did. From oil changes, to tire rotations, to repairs...you name it...Ryan, Matt and the rest of the team at REDi are fantastic!

They have great customer service, theyre super knowledgeable, always quick to turn my car around in a timely manner, and they perform high quality work at a great price. Out of all the automotive shops Ive been to over the years none have even come close to Ryan and the crew at Redi Imports. They offer excellent service and really make you feel like your car is in good hands. Ryan is a very upfront and honest business owner and wont try to up sell you to just turn a profit. The first time I went to Redi I knew my car (Mazda 3) was in good hands when it was put up on a lift next to a Ferrari. As long as I stay in Rochester I will always trust my cars repair here.

Brought my 2015 Mustang GT Performance Pack in for an Alignment after installing my lowering springs from a suggestion of a friend of mine and I was pleasently surprised! This place is amazing, friendly, and they even sent me a photo via fb of my car on their alignment machine. Definitely going back again! Especially since I’m thinking about installing headers next 🤔

Respectful and honest mechanics. Its no wonder they are doing so well. Im used to getting jerked around by mechanics, so the folks at Redi Imports are a breath of fresh air.

BY FAR.....the best auto detailing I have ever had on any vehicle Ive ever owned! Highly recommend! My Jeep looks like it did the first day I bought it. I own 3 dogs and you could never tell based on how good it looks! Incredibly happy! Excellent customer service as well! I have already told multiple people who plan on making thier appointment for a full detail as well!

These guys are great, I had a serious time crunch with getting winter tires on and they were able to get me in just in time. Id recommend Redi and their neighbor PAD any day of the week. Cant wait to see what they can do on the performance side of things come summer!

Redi Imports is the reason why I drive the cars I love. I am always impressed with the superior quality of work, the pricing and the honesty that this shop provides. These are qualities that are hard to find especially for BMWs. Ryan (owner) has always recommended repairs in my best interest and have never felt pressured into them. This is honestly the best shop in town and will never take my vehicles somewhere else.

Ryan and his staff are incredible. Very welcoming, take the time to listens to the customer and they are very knowledgeable. I took my ride here to fix a alignment screwup some other place did and I cant thank enough for these guys. I can recommend these guys for anyone.

Yesterday was my first experience here and it was awesome. The team was very friendly and professional, the owner took his time to thoroughly go over the problems with my car and explained all my options. I felt like I was in good hands, the cost of the parts and service was very fair and my car turned out great!

Ive been bringing my cars to Ryan for years and I highly recommend this shop! Ryan is friendly and an honest guy. Recently I brought in my Honda CR-V in for a new engine. The price was VERY reasonable and havent had a problem ever since! He checked my car very carefully and I have found I can depend on him for honest answers and quality work! In addition all his technicians and office staff were very friendly and go above and beyond to provide incredible customer service. Overall, A+ company!

Fair prices, honest people, great work. They will let you know exactly what is going on, how much itll cost to get done, and wont try to sell you service you dont need. I didnt trust my car in the hands of anyone else before I brought it to Redi Imports. If you care about your car and dont take it here; youre doing yourself and your car a disservice.

Have been going here for the last few years to have my Bmw serviced and repaired. Hands down the most honest and straight forward shop in the Rochester area. On a scale of one to pretty great, Ryan and his crew pretty much score a totally awesome. Super helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, knowledgeable, profesh, etc. If you like places that arent run by jerks then look no further. Not only do they do great work on your automobile, but they will also go above and beyond most average expectations for what a repair shop will normally do to help you make an informed decision to get the best value! Ryan, and his staff, exemplify what makes working with a local business great. They are hard working, reasonable, honest, and will do whatever it takes to earn your business. These guys are experienced and understand the importance of great customer service!Ive taken my car to his shop the last 4 or so times it needed service but I will never forget my first oil change experience. I told Ryan that Ive been putting in Valvoline 5w30 Full Syn in my car since I had it and he personally left to pick it up down the street to put it in my car. He didnt have to, but that move spoke volumes and has earned my business for years to come.

Ryan, April and the whole bunch are a class act. This level of service and attention to detail are very hard to find. If you want the repair done right the first time and explained so that you can understand what is being done... this is the place to go!
