In all of my years of car buying this had to be the best transaction from start to finish. I would say low pressure sales, but in fact, it was no pressure sales. Christopher Wood, our salesman, was extremely knowledgeable, and ready to answer any and all questions. It was clear from the beginning that we were dealing with a true professional who knows his cars (and not just Acuras!)I never felt like Chris was rushing to get to the deal, but rather that he actually enjoyed the process of introducing the vehicle and giving you a true sense of what it would be like to own it, and live with it.When it came down to making a deal, I felt that the transaction was fair and transparent. No smoke and mirrors. No extra charges lurking behind the final curtain. Even in the current environment of low inventory, I felt that I was getting a good price and a fair deal -- probably better than any previous deals when there were no pandemic-induced shortages.Everyone we came into contact with at Acura of Rochester was friendly, respectful, and professional. I have now bought 3 vehicles from the team at Acura of Rochester and Every Time is a fantastic experience. I live in Buffalo and Drive an hour out of my way to specifically utilize this team. When I purchased my used Acura RDX just 18 months ago I was extremely excited. I’ve more recently called service and spoke to Eric regarding some front suspension noise he told me it would be 130 to diagnose. I’ve also purchased an extended warranty package that he could not tell me if I was covered or not he had no clue nor did he want to provide information on suspension coverage! This is not OK! I don’t agree with how I was brushed off and given the time to research! I never asked for a diagnosis over the phone ever! I asked if I was covered with my extended warranty he could not be bothered. For this reason I will not be coming to them ever again! Customer service means everything and if He couldn’t be bothered, than Why should I! Since then I called the extended warranty company I am covered in full completely labor and parts I will give my business to another dealer.

I was recently in the market for a used Acura MDX. I went in for a test drive with Maryam and loved the car, but had other cars I wanted to test drive elsewhere. A couple days later, when I decided I wanted the MDX I test drove, I talked to Maryam on the phone and we went over logistics for me to reserve the MDX and for my mechanic to look it over before I finalized my purchase. After everything was set for me to reserve the MDX and have my mechanic look it over, I get a call back from Maryam saying that her “manager told her” to raise the price of the MDX and sell it to someone else, even though she just told me an hour earlier that I could have it... Do not do business with these people. They seem nice and easy to work with, but they’re just looking to make an extra dollar, even if it means betraying a customer.

I recently purchased an used Acura RDX from another dealer and once I got it home I noticed what I thought was the transmission slipping upon calling and speaking to Eric the service advisor from garber he explained it needed a transmission flush, I then took it into the service center where they flushed the system, upon driving it away I noticed an immediate change in driving it became a new car again. The service was phenomenal and very attentive and knowledgeable, I will exclusively bring my Acura to garber and if questions arise I will call and sure they have the answers.

WE bought a 2021 RDX from Garber Acura. From start to finish, the process was easy, transparent, and quick!! It was the week before Christmas. We sat with Sean Carroll - sales manager - he was excellent to work with. Handled all of our questions and concerns (we had multiple!!) with ease and education. Very professional with his approach and ability to get us where we wanted on the price of the car. Excellent car buying experience!!We then sat with Jeremy Ingrassio (Brand Specialist). He thoroughly explained the next steps for us to accept delivery of the car (which was ready like 4hours later). When we came back in to the pick up the car, there was a nice big bow on it - very special!! Jeremy took the time to explain all of the main features on the car, setting up the cellphone to work with bluetooth, etc. He was very patient and did a great job explaining the intricacies of the cars features. He was very enthusiastic and made sure we had his information for any questions we had after the sale. All around excellent experience.We also sat with Jabin in Finance. He took the time to explain the various packages that were available for purchase and we ended up buying one of the packages that saved us money in the long run.These 3 individuals at Garber were a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable about the industry. Acura of Rochester is the best dealer in town. Time and time again they have taken care of me, this is my familys third vehicle purchased from them. From the sales department to the service department they are first class. They even had a sales person meet me on the side of the expressway when I had a flat tire and did not have a wheel lock. I will continue to recommend them over and over again. Not to mention, their loaner car program is wonderful and a great way to test out some of the newer Acura models.

My first visit I was impressed. These guys are wonderful, thoughtful, kind and thorough.Upon having to return less than 3 months later my feelings changed drastically. The $500 dollars worth of brake work needed to be replaced costing me another $1000.This was only the beginning of my disappointment. The way I was treated changed dramatically. The service representative was rude, argumentative and not at all what I would expect after the first visit.Even if the fact that the parts on my vehicle failed and the mechanic could not predict that, because he doesnt have the ability to know when they might fail. He should have the knowledge to know when parts should be replaced.I feel that less than 3 months after having my brakes replaced and a total of $1500 does not earn another 5 star review.It is unfortunate that I have to give a poor review.
Jeremy and Jerod are the most amazing individual that I have ever met. They help me from start to finish. If you want an Acura or any type of vehicle they have go there and ask for them two. I went to see Jabin Hutton at Acura of Rochester. I found a car of my dreams, however there was an issue with the title. I then pbought a 2010 Acura TL which was awesome. Started to realize that paint was fading and spidering. The other car I liked was available and a title. I kinda got upset because I felt like he was dropping the ball. Jabin didnt skip a best and took care what I was upset with. He gave over the top, customer service. I used to work at customer service jobs and I am s tough critic. Thank you, Jabin.Thanks,Jill. I would absolutely recommend getting a second opinion from another shop any time they rack you up a large bill in the service department. Alan is not a very trustworthy employee and is very comfortable up-selling you on service your car does not need.I brought in my 2011 TL to see if it was eligible for the Oil consumption recall as I was about to move to CO and would be driving the car there. I was told by Alan, the service representative: We cant even check for the recall until we investigate for an oil leak that we think you may have. That will cost about $1500. He was unable to provide me with any details about the leak he suggested and said my car would absolutely not run for another 100 miles in this condition and definitely would not make it to Colorado.I brought the car to my trusted mechanic at Turning Leaf Auto (Theyre awesome and I would absolutely recommend using them!) for a second opinion and they told me for a car with 100,000 miles on it, there was absolutely nothing to worry about and it would leak no more than a drop or two every 3,000 miles. They gave me an oil change for $40 and I was on my wayI am now safely in Colorado with no issues at all! Hopefully others have a better experience with this Acura dealer in Rochester, but for me, Alan was taking advantage of my situation and willing to charge me whatever I would pay. If you go here for service, just consider getting a second opinion elsewhere!
Acura goes out of there way to make my service experience excellent. Ongoing communication, a comfortable waiting area, loaner cars and of course high quality, honest work. Service is a main reason we remain committed to the Acura brand.

Brought my Acura TLX in for an oil change, tires rotation, and an exterior detailing. The car came back with a beautiful shine and looking like show room condition. The service was great by Paul Palmer and Robert Heil. Both assisted communicated with and both were great to work with. Acura of Rochester employees are professional and thank you for making my experience really great !
The Service Department may be under-staffed. After dropping off my car for some recalls and also a problem I was having with the front end, I received a text message from the technician that was handling my vehicle. I replied to the tech as the audio in the loaner car I was using was turning on and off on its own. No reply. In the morning, I inquired about my vehicle, no reply. I called three times and left three messages, no return call. I finally called again and refused to be transferred without talking to someone in the Service Department. After telling me that the reason my front tires were squealing was due to brake dust, I asked a few more questions to make sure we were on the same page. He held strong that I needed to pay $250 to have my brakes cleaned. I picked up the car, had my brakes cleaned, professionally, and the problem persists. I called last week to try to make my FOURTH appointment to have the problem fixed and am STILL waiting for a return call. I am not a happy customer.
The whole team at the Acura service department was wonderful. They kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle every step of the way, they did a great job explaining the recommended services to me, and my vehicle was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them to others for any future service.

Acura of Rochester solved a complex intermittent problem on the first try. They kept me well posted and provided a loaner on short notice. They were courteous and efficient. The service department and the body shop coordinated well. The body work was flawless. The cost to me was spot-on their initial estimate. To sum up, they did everything they said they’d do, they did it masterfully, and they shared information in an intelligent flow. I am one hundred percent satisfied and recommend them without qualification.

I always have a great experience at Acura-- they set me up with a loaner car when I need to have service and everything is always ready when I get there. They are helpful with service and maintenance and always try to get me the right services when Im there. My *only* issue has sometimes been getting a hold of someone in the department when setting up service, but this was only once or twice. All in all, will always take my car here.

I have been a customer with Acura for over 20 years and have always been treated with respect and warmth. This continues to be the case during my last visit. I was provided with a loaner and kept abreast of the necessary maintenance and repairs. I needed to pick up the car at an earlier time than originally anticipated, and they were able to have the car ready and called me when it was ready. Tim, the Service Manager, reviewed with me in detail the service provided. He also made sure on an earlier visit to fit me in a hectic schedule for the day to take care of a crisis I was experiencing with the MDX so I would not have to return from my Naples residence over 35 miles away.

Garber was very accommodating in providing service to my RDX. They offered a loaner car so the parts could be ordered and the car could be repaired the next day. We live 1 1/2 hours away from the service center, and my car was ready for pickup the next day.
2 times needed service, left a message and they did not call back. Charged a lot for brakes. I am updating this post because I had a second experience and it was better. I had to stop in the store to get an appointment. However, Im glad the response for the owner is paying attention to customers. I have a high performance Acura and I can only get oil changes there. I wanted to say that the adviser did take good care of me as far as thorough evaluation. and topped off all my fluids.
We bought brand new cars MDX 2015 and TL 2008 cars. We have been getting both our cars serviced from this place for years (from the day we purchased the new cars). We have been having numerous issues all these years like TL has transmission fluid leak one time just after a service(I had smoke coming from my car in middle of the road), bottom plate was not bolted in during another service (My car was scratching the road just after a service so I had to tape the plate in and drive 20 miles to get the car checked by this place). And every time they kept saying it is not their issue.The most recent issue happened last weekend, we were travelling from Rochester NY to New Jersey and after 3 hours of drive our car broke down. It wont move, we got it towed to a nearby Acura service area in PA. We struggled with a 4 year old for 12 hours and finally got to New Jersey in a rental car. The PA Acura service station said that the last service was not done right as bolts were missing. which got the transmission stuff messed up and now it costs us $4000 to fix it.I am furious. They have been extorting money from us for years and providing terrible service. All these years when we have issues we kept thinking even though it is expensive we are getting great service as it is an Acura Dealership which is supposed to be good and just our cars are getting old as manufacturers are not building good cars now. Our assumption is completely wrong.This place is terrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
I recently purchased a used Volvo from Acura with the help of Tim Wilt. Being a buyer from NJ and about 6 hrs away I dealt with Tim and the Acura of Rochester team mostly over email and phone. The deal negotiations were also all over email and went smoothly over the course of a few days with steady communication and a final deal that I hope satisfied both parties. Upon vehicle pickup there were no major surprises and I was on my way within an hour or so.I highly recommend the services of Acura of Rochester and would certainly buy again in the future. Also I applaud their ability to work on a deal via email and phone over the course of a few days to generate a satisfied customer.
I love my RDX. The performance is outstanding. Comfortable, smooth ride and the CarPlay is great.I just had my first service and Greg Hunt picked up my car while I was at work and brought it to get serviced. This was a huge convenience for me. The car was serviced and cleaned inside and out. I had done a lot of long distance travel and had a front bumper coated in bugs that would not come off after several professional washes. Garner got them all off which was awesome.No complaints. Very happy with car and service so far.
I had posted previously here my disappointment for the level of service I had received from Acura Roadside assistance a few days ago when my car would not start. Acura service manager contacted me to address the situation and next morning I took the car to the shop and they replaced the battery at no charge.Everyone was most helpful and professional about the whole thing and, most importantly took care of the situation.I sincerely appreciate their interest to help me and I strongly recommend the service staff at Acura for any issue you may need their help.Level of service: 10Thank you.

Rick and both managers of business and sales (ones name was Jared) were extremely helpful and helped me understand everything I was getting into. Im thoroughly pleased with my experience. My sales guy, Rick, was not too pushy or aggressive, he helped me make educated decisions. He treated me like family and was very understanding of my situation. Usually sales guys will try to smooth talk you into buying, Rick let me do the decision making and he worked hard to get things going right away. Jared was also extremely helpful and worked hard and got me a better interest rate and worked diligently to get me the best deal. Im very appreciative of the team.

Rochester Acura an example of a no hassle, no intimidation and respectful no pressure sales experience. Sales associate, Jeramy was more interested in what and why we were looking for a new car and what we expected from a successful experience. After a very thorough overview of the RDX, which we were interested in, he then worked with us on a “fair” price that we had put on the table. Within a short period of time he and his sales manger were able to meet our goals for a fair price. Throughout this experience I do not believe that we had ever been treated so respectfully with a very positive experience. The result? Jeremy and the team at the Rochester dealership did an amazing job with the purchase of my first car. I initially started out shopping in the Syracuse location (that is where I live) and had a horrendous experience with Crest Acura. The team in Syracuse just kept giving me incorrect information and ruined our deal, not once, but twice, which led me to do business elsewhere. Rochester made the experience easy and efficient. They did not lie to me to make a sale and they seem to truly care for their customers and ensure their customers get exactly what they are looking for. Continue on with the great work! Was a very great experience buying my first Acura TLX. Tim W. was extremely helpful and patient. And helped me out with multiple test drives. And even let me borrow the Car overnight so i could let my wife ride in it during her busy schedule. Will recommend people to visit if interested in an Acura.Well Done!!

I had a great experience with Acura of Rochester. I was visiting family in the area and noticed that my car was leaking fluid from the rear axle. I had a short window of time to address the issue before a six hour drive home. Al from the service department recognized the potential for this to turn into a very expensive problem and found time to service my car despite the department being booked out for two weeks. My problem ended up being the result of some faulty maintenance work done by another dealer back home, and I received a picture of the faulty work to take with me. The repair came in under the estimate, and communication with Al was professional and straight forward. An A+ experience, I highly recommend this dealer for service.

From the beginning of the car buying experience everything about it was welcoming. I was lucky to work with their sales associate Greg. He was able to adapt to my personality which is refreshing. Being a young female trying to buy a higher end vehicle sometimes is an uncomfortable experience because at some dealerships I felt like I wasn’t taken seriously, but working with Greg was effortless, he asked questions, felt out what I was looking for in a vehicle—what was important to me etc. then when went to look at the car, I was impressed with the fact that he went through EVERY single detail of the car from simply how to put the car in drive to how the key fob can open the windows when the car isn’t running. It’s nice to know all the new technology and be able to utilize all the cars features while you own it. The vehicle was so nice to drive that after awhile of looking for a vehicle and some light negotiation it was what I decided to go with! The purchasing process was painless, they went through everything with me step by step made sure I understood everything. Then when I decided to add a package to my car after taking delivery instead of making me drive the car back to the dealership, Greg personally came to my place of work dropped off a loaner and took my car to get what it needed and then came and dropped it off. Such a great experience, two thumbs up. Thanks Acura, Greg and the rest of the people involved helping me get my new car and making the process simple, quick, and easy!
Kinda hard to actually get someone on the phone or get a call back, but in person the only person I enjoy working with is Chuck. He is super personable, takes the time to explain to me the repairs I need and why ( I know very little about cars, so normally it takes quite awhile) friendly, and respectful! I always leave with a smile and a better understanding of my car.
