Fortunately for me Vargas has been able assist me with repairs to my vehicle twice this year. Both times were repairs through insurance. As much of a headache insurance claims are to deal with, Sherry @Vargas has been AMAZING every step of the way. The mechanics are quick and proficient and go above and beyond for their customers! I would absolutely recommend them and know I have an ace in the hole for my vehicle repairs.

I called after finding my tire go flat on my lunch break and I was able to set up a time to come down to get it repaired DURING my lunch break. The staff was very accommodating and kind during the whole process and I couldnt have asked for better service! Very highly recommended!

I went there to get my state inspection done and tires replaced. Did a great job with the tire replacement. However they said my back light bulb popped and said they would replace it too. Paid for all the fees then a week later I got a ticket for my backlight being out. 😑 I’ll be sure to double check my vehicle myself after every inspection from now on. No worries I bought and installed a new bulb myself.

I apologize about the mishap with the rating, the first time was not done intentionally, that happens when you give you 8year old your cell phone. The experience that I did have when Visting your establishment was very pleasant. Also thank you for the estimate on the issue with my car. I am looking forward to having the issue with my power steering issue resolved. When researching the prices of the parts it came to about close to $300.00 which leaves the labor cost and thats close to about $402.00. Without the information you provided me I would have been shelling out money to try to find the problem. Greatly appreciated all that you did for me. Hope to see you soon.

My partner and I got our NYS inspections here. He needed a minor fix to his car and Vargas was able to order the part and replace it in less than 48 hours at a very reasonable price. It would have cost more to order the part online and fix it ourselves than it cost for the inspection, labor and repair altogether! We were impressed.

I was in an accident, Kim took care of all the details with the insurance company as they were giving me the run around on my vehicle. insurance company told me to have it towed that they were not going to pay. Carlos was super nice and allowed it to stay there. Insurance company ended up doing what they were suppose to do. I’ve been here a couple times now and each time has been great! I had an issue with the radiator on my 06 Explorer and they were able to pinpoint the issue as well as notify me of a potential transmission line issue. They were honest and up front with costs and potential costs of full replacement. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and I will be back for all my vehicle needs!

I brought my Subaru forester to a corporate establishment to get an estimate on if i needed to get an alignment or replace a ball joint and to get all 4 new tires put on and didnt have the best experience. They told me I had to replace 1600 dollars worth of work on my car before they even put the tires on and or do an alignment. I heard about vargas Auto repair and collision and brought my car here and they explained that they were able to put all 4 tires on and an alignment and that i did not need to get any of the work done that I was told the first time. Excellent Customer Service! I got into a fender bender a few days before my vacation. They were very accommodating to my schedule. And while I was away they found additional parts that needed replacement not repair. They contacted my insurance and resolved it all for me! I was very happy that they even stayed late on a Saturday to finish my car because I needed it before Monday. Awesome job, thank you Vargas Automotive! Where do I begin...One Saturday morning around 9:30am I decided to back my truck into a shelving unit in my garage. I ended up scraping and denting my back fender and ripping one of my tail lights off. In a panic (while crying like a baby :) ), I called several different collision shops in the hopes that someone could help me out ASAP because my truck is my baby and I couldnt drive around with a tail light dangling from the back. I ended up calling Vargas because they were the only place that didnt close early on Saturday. Kim answered the phone and I told her my story. She had me bring my truck in immediately and when I got there, they quickly looked at my truck and knew that it wasnt a one day fix (which I already knew) and neatly taped my existing tail light to my truck so that I could drive it until I could bring it in to be fixed. (It was much better than my emotional duct taping job that I did before driving to them in the first place.) Kim was very honest with me and got me an estimate on Monday morning, as promised. I dropped my truck off Monday evening after work and had it back on Thursday. IT LOOKS AMAZING. No scrapes or dents, shiny new paint (they even cleaned up the rest of the truck so it sparkled for me), and a new tail light all for less than what I would have paid at a dealership. Honestly, it looked better than it did before I backed it into the shelves. In addition to the great job that they did- everyone was friendly, which in todays world is very rare. I’ve been taking my Camry to Carlos now for about 2yrs now. While yes he’s family, I’ve watched him interact with customers bringing their cars in & he keeps it real with them & he’s very upfront with them. He deals with them the same way he does me. He doesn’t BS them & try to up sell them for stuff they don’t need. Him & his team do great work!

Came in to get a headlight replaced, and they were speedy in getting my car taken care of, even though I came in without an appointment. Cheaper cost than I expected, and friendly service which is always a nice bonus. I’m from out of town, so I probably won’t be able to come back here, but I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fairly priced, and friendly mechanic in the area

My first experience with Vargas Auto i was very impressed. Kim at the front desk is very kind and friendly and so easy to talk to. My mechanic Pete was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. There was great communication by calling me and keeping me updated which i really appreciated and answering any questions or concerns i had. He gave me clear details explaining what repairs were needed and the service was fast and efficient which was also appreciated. It gave me peace of mind knowing my vehicle was in good hands. Never been treated like this here be4 it concerned me

The worst car experience of my life. They ran no diagnostic of my vehicle. What car shop does this!?! Brought in for inspection and O2 sensor. Wrong sensor was fixed. Charged an arm and a leg for it as well. Rigged my car so i can be raped furthermore if i was to take it back to them. Also said codes were cleared as they were not. No inspection was given. Icing on the cake....THEY STOLE CHANGE OUT OF MY CAR!! What kind of service is that? they offer a $5 coupon if you write a google review. What is $5 off of Rape. Nothing really. You know all these reviews are fake or family. No real car shop will have a 4.9 review rating. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

The people here do honest and quality work. Their quotes are always accurate and they never do work on your vehicle without informing you first. Plus, Im always amazed at how fast they get the job done.

Had a blown brake line on my wifes car, they were able to get it in right away and fix it the same day. Back in 2015 Vargas auto installed the Intoxalock breathalyzer system in my truck and I havent had a single problem with it since. The staff and owner have always been helpful and professional. I highly recommend them if you need service on your vehicle. I own an older Ford truck and I know for fact that they are experts with them

In October I brought my car in for new brakes and I wasnt sure if I needed an alignment. My brakes were replaced quickly and when an issue occurred I was taken into the shop and showed what else was wrong. I really appreciate the fact that I was shown what the issue was, and that they explained what would need to be done to fix it. Other shops Ive previously been too, have charged me for things that I didnt ask to have done. I have nothing but good things to say about Vargas and their staff. As a young woman, finding an auto shop that doesnt try to over charge you or talk down to you like you are stupid is hard. My experience with Vargas was the complete opposite and I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their car. Excellent customer service, informed staff, polite, respectful, and genuine.

A little late on the review, but wanted to give some feedback. Had body and paint work done back in early August on my 2000 Acura TL, and was/still am very pleased with the results. The job was done within the time frame Carlos quoted and the price was better then the other half-dozen places I got a quote from. Carlos was straightforward on addressing how the work was going to be done. They also took care of a small issue I had with my grill a week after the initial work was complete, at no cost. Overall good experience.

As a grandmother of a young RIT student, I had given my older Audi Quattro to him for use in the rugged New York winters. We are from New Hampshire & have rugged winters, too. When the heater core went unexpectedly in the car, we were in a tight spot. 600 miles from NH and we do not know a soul in Rochester! Kim & Pete were outstanding!My husband, who teaches Automotive Technology in a high school in NH, knew that the car was no cream puff! We just needed him to be able to come home for Thanksgiving. Bad Service i was doing NY inspection but single brake bulb was off they Charged me $40 for it and$ 21 for inspection its too expensive for labor in here i wouldnt recommend this place.

Stopped by for a simple photo inspection. I arrived at 4:30p and was told they stop doing them at 4:30p. I told the women that the website said they do them until 5p but she laughed and walked away. Even if they did stop at 4:30p it takes 5 minutes to take pictures of a new vehicle. I doubled checked the photo inspection listings near me provided by my insurance company it says MWF until 5, maybe they should update that. I was also looking for a future mechanic for any issues but I will not be coming back here after that poor customer experience. Id rather drive the extra 10 minutes to go to a better shop.

We brought my wifes car here with a misfire problem, and they were able to trace it to a wiring short circuit. Very happy with their service and price. They saved the old parts to show us how they fixed it.Thanks guys!

First place AAA said I could get my photo inspection near by only to end up stopping at like 4 other places simply because my car needed to be washed. Everyone else found that to be non sense not only my car was simply rain dirty but they all told me no need to wash the car!!! She could have taken the pictures and end of story! Glad I got the pictures done else where without washing my car!
