Im new to Roanoke. First time shopping here. Great experience! Got everything I needed and employees were so nice. Much better than the supercenters where the employees act like you are imposing on them if you ask for help. Denise was super friendly and helpful!

Ordered on-line, fairly simple, and picked up at the store. Employees brought the groceries out in a prompt manner. Very friendly employees. It was actually an enjoyable experience. Is it just me or does everyone seem to be some rude @$$3$ anymore? Well to the employee that brought our groceries out, I appreciate you!!

I definitely prefer the neighborhood market over the big box Walmart.

Ive never been a huge fan of Walmart, but the neighborhood markets are much more tolerable than the regular stores. The staff are friendly, and I havent had many issues finding things. Overall I feel the experience here has been improving steadily over the years.

Ordered food online and employees did a great job of getting my order out to me swiftly.

Everytime I go. They do not except cash at any register other than non self checkout registers. This is horrible service. Cash is our currency not plastic. If you cant staff your store so they can load the machines with cash there is something really wrong. Horrible horrible place to go if you have cash

Great prices, and friendly workers

Very clean and the staff is definitely customer oriented. Its not like going into one of their big box stores. Everything is fresh and they normally have stuff that the big stores run out of when you need it. Most of the registers are self checkout I just wish they had more clerks to help you check out, but that comes with the savings that you get. I just cannot stress how friendly the employees are at the store!

Pharmacy and store are well run with shelves full. I was using a large grocery chain but it is much cheaper overall here.

Love the convenience of the Walmart Neighborhood Market. I wish there were more of these in localities. Comparable to the best grocery stores around.

I love my local market place. They always have a great selection throughout the store. The only downside is the deli section isnt very large and doesnt have the greatest selection. The store is clean and the staff is much friendlier than the other local grocery stores.

I went to grab a few groceries with my son and what should have been a quick trip turned out to be a terrible experience. All of the employees were hanging out, or smoking. The only registers open were self checkout. Trying to scan and bag groceries while keeping up with my child was difficult. At least one full service register would have helped and would have gave the employees a job to do.

Its Wal-Mart. What more can I say. Easy in and out visit. Had 99% of what I wanted. No waiting. Not crowded.

Everyone was so super friendly and cool. Smiles in every direction I looked, this place seems to have been built on top of a well of happiness, and its happy power goes through the foundation and floor producing the most respectful, kind and very happy people in the entire universe. This place gave me the most raging clue too.

We went to this Walmart the other day and spent over $200 on groceries. Not one normal checkout was open other than self service checkout lanes. Right after we checked out using a self service lane, they opened a checkout lane up with an employee ringing people up.Mind you, I asked if any lanes were open prior to having to go through self service. I will be going to the Bonsac Walmart from now on.

Like the one in Salem better.

I come from a big city, and this quaint, smaller, mostly groceries, Walmart was REALLY nice. Well stocked, very clean, and friendly workers.

My husband has health issues and he always goes to this store and Denise the cashier is always helping him get our groceries bagged and put into shopping cart. She is the best.

Walmart is the best place to do your kwik shopping.

Small location not very much to chose from but convenient to those who like doing some quick shopping

Never have enough cashiers. They want people to use Scan&Go but most machines were shut down.

First time at this Walmart I wasnt very impressed, great healthy organic products with excellent social distancing.

Good place to shop and great prices.

They had several fully charged riding carts available, it wasnt too crowded and I found everything I was looking for.

Its close. Its convenient, and they have everything a grocery store should and more at low prices! 🙂❣️

I only purchased gasoline and I used the restroom and I wish to say that it was the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen anywhere. I believe it is cleaner than my own.I applaud the work to make it a place where mothers and daughters and children can go without hesitation.I am not forgetting us men who have this unfortunate urge to stop before home and find a place clean and nice.

Accusing people of stealing and harassing people. Bad customer service. I wouldn’t go to this store. They literally don’t have any respect for people who pay for their own stuff.

Did a curbside pickup and they were actually outside waiting on me when I got there!!! Very pleased first time ever got my order done that fast and were very polite!!!

The cashier.. Miss Denise was her name I think.. was so sweet! Was so nice to our grandpa when we took him for his groceries after he had surgery and left the hospital. He says she is always so nice when he comes in. She made a stressful day a little better.

Went to Walmart on Plantation to pick up a few groceries and insulin. Since insulin needs to be refrigerated I always pick that up after I am finished shopping just before I head to the checkout. A lady in front of me was just about finished checking out. She paid in cash and needed change. The nice lady running the cash register called the office to bring her money. We waited 20 minutes. After 2 more phone calls to the office Sara came and said multiple phone calls are not going to get me here quicker. I said we have been waiting 20 minutes. Sara said I have customers and I proceeded to tell her we are customers too! She had another girl working customer service, so she should have excused herself to bring the cashier money to make change. It took her about 3 minutes to bring the money. Sara was rude to the cashier, me and the lady waiting on her change. Sara needs to a refresher course in customer service!

Although we live closer to 3 other grocery stores we tend to come here often. They have a lot of produce and meat varieties for being a quick in and out kind of store. We usually use self check out which is convenient and fast.

Place is great till the manager follows you around the store like you’re about to steal something. And sure as hell don’t go to the self check out cause then they all stand right over you and watch every move. Promise I will never step foot back in there.

I love these guys their gas prices are some of the best in town I like the lady thats helped me many times that works in the outdoor kiosk inside when you can find an associate there usually friendly this is a fast in and out neighborhood store not always what you want or need but what they do have is at very reasonable prices cant be beat in town we will return

Nice to run in and grab necessities. Selection not as much as the larger stores. But serves its purpose as a smaller satellite store. Mainly groceries.

Usually Walmart associates have a i dont care attitude towards customers. Not so at the Walmart Market on plantation road. Today I encountered Ron in the produce section, he graciously picked out peaches and bagged them for me. So sweet. Him and the peaches. Also encountered a CSM at the self checkout who was jolly on the spot. I didnt catch her name. At the customer service desk, Ashley was so very courteous and helpful with a quick return and check out. Thank you Walmart this store has great employees .

Easy to find things here.

I shop here for almost all of my groceries. They have a terrific mix of inexpensive and luxury foods. Everyday prices are the same as Krogers sale prices. The store is busy but traffic moves fast through the checkout lanes. Several self checkout lanes to do it yourself and 2 cashier lanes if you prefer assistance.

Great store. The staff is friendly and actually ask if you need help. Pharmacy is well staffed. Selection is good. Not a super Walmart, but a great neighborhood market.

Small Walmart market...Kind of basic but, has its own gas Station. Gas was cheap.
