Came because someone said they sell board games. This is kind of true as they have uno, monopoly and other board games. No designer games though. Left with a razer keyboard, D20 dice lamp and a Millennium Falcon wireless charger.

Dont pay for anything up front for a pre-order because they will sell it out from under you even within their 48 hour policy hold. I see why this business is going under. I have never been treated so poorly by a company before and being a manager of a business would never treat a guest this way. Ge stop will no longer get any of my business.

I always have a great visit at this gaming shop whether Im shopping for myself or gifts for someone else . The employees there are very nice and helpful .

Being a pro member gets you more than you think...not just savings and great offers but some i see are selling the game consoles they say they dont have to sell to pro members. Im just saying if you got an extra 20 bucks a year it might be worth it to be apart of this hush hush club.

I would’ve given this location a 4-5 star rating had you asked me over a year ago. Recently though, I’ve had several preorders sold out from under myself and my fiancé without any attempts to call or contact us once they’ve arrived. I have also walked in and had them say they don’t have my preorder in, only to find the item on the shelves ready for purchase by walk in customers. When asked why they didn’t notify us they said they called several times but no answer. I called their bluff, and knew this not to be true as we have the number stored in our contacts, and the last time the manager called and left a voicemail. None such thing was done these last several times. The location in Tanglewood Mall was by far the best with Justin and Vanessa running the store. However, Salem’s location seems to be the best option now that branch closed down.

Good store for games but every time I go in there is only one person working and the checkout line is backed up. Last time I just wanted to know the price of an item but since it wasnt marked and no scanner available I had to stand in line just to get a price on something

I ordered a game here on January 2nd to get shipped to me directly to my house, I’ve been checking the tracking and for some odd reason it was sent back to Texas-I called the store few days ago and they said there wasn’t anything they could do, I’d have to call the mail company which won’t do anything.Now I’m ripped of 40 bucks and I don’t have my game.Don’t order games from GS to your house, use Amazon.

Place is a freaking joke! Hardly no games at all for current systems, hit or miss if they even have the disc for the box thats on the shelf.

My fiancé sat in line at your store and had a Ps5 right there. The girl asked about buying protections and my fiancé said no because we’ll eventually sell it to my brother once he saves up the money (basically gifting it, but giving him a chance to get it) and the associate refused to sell it to my fiancéShe sat at that store for hours hoping to get this console for my brother, just to have it ripped away literally as she stood thereWe have been trying for literally WEEKS to help them get one, she didn’t even get a chance to explain the “why”. She was just immediately shut down and told to leave, to which I had to listen to her crying on the phone for 30 minutes on the way home about how she ruined ChristmasAppreciate it GameStop

Best GameStop I have ever been to, since their opening. I recently called ahead for an item, and they assured me it was saved for me for the afternoon. An SNES Classic Controller. I inquired about the same exact model in-store, the man that asked what I was looking for directed me to the front desk, and the woman at the sales line (checkout) and she had indeed saved one for me, 1/2 left. This kind of customer service is truly appreciated, and Ill be returning when I need gaming supplies, etc. Thank you GameStop!

Usually everything there is great, but we went online and found a game we wanted to buy said they had it in the store and when we arrived they had the box but not the disc. So we will just bought the new copy instead of the pre-owned. It would just be nice if their system kept things up today because I think it made the lady at the counter look like a fool when the system says one thing and the store has something else. She did take care of us and gave us a little off of the new game because of the inconvenience and what it said on the website. The store is always busy but those people that work there always find the time to help everybody with everything they need so if you are going to buy games that is the place to go

Called cause Google said they were open til 10. Turns out they closed at 9 but Google had not updated their information. It was 9:05 when I called and the guy new I was in a tight spot because Wal-Mart didnt have the video cable I needed. Not only did he let me swing by after closing to help me but also helped me sign up for their rewards program. Greg was the name of the cashier who helped me and already had everything I needed at the counter. This store has a customer for life now. Good customer service goes a long way!

Small store. Typical of Christmas time it was crowded and not very speedy service, not a lot of associates to help.Still, everyone was nice, polite, very helpful. We got through as quickly as was possible, given the holiday crush.But its always that way with the associates. Nice and helpful.

Biggest selection of games. Theres little to no customer service. You go in there and have them recommend a game for you. It wont be something you like. Theyll just try to sell you what ever the newest game thats out at the time.

I’ve never had a bad experience at this place but today they really tried my patience. The line was long and growing longer as one employee was taking 4-6 minutes to check out a few games another employee couldn’t figure out what to do with a traded Xbox so the one guy checked out one costumer then stepped over to to help the chick who can’t even figure out an Xbox. I then stepped up to the desk and waited for at least 7 minutes then when the guy finally returned to the desk he went to the far side instead of where I was standing then looked me in the eyes and proceeded to say he could help the next costumer the next person came over which cut me off so I ended up standing there even longer. Finally the one employee finished checking someone out and the next dude in line was nice enough to let me step over and get my games paid for all the while the 3rd employee was still messing with the same Xbox.

Rude people. I walked around the whole and no one spoke to me and I was the ONLY customer in the store.

This is probably one of the best GameStops Ive ever been to in terms of its size and displays. Most stores are tiny and can get really cramped if there are more than 3 people shopping...Here theres plenty of room with great displays. It was a tad understaffed and the check out line took a while to get through during my visit, which is my only complaint.

Its the corporations fault, just too save a buck... Make sure too have staff check ANY pre-owned items! I bought 2 controllers for my kids (Christmas) both was broken.

Waited 40 minutes in line, I was right behind someone with no-one behind me and the guy just left the register for 20 minutes, then instead of him coming back to get me just 1 controller he told me to go to the end of the other line which I had to wait another 20 minutes. This is why theyre going out of business.

Regular gamestop inventory, the main thing that messes up the experience is the WORKERS! They hired people that has no business working at gamestop like older ladies that you see working at Macys or something, like they literally stand there and wait for people like they working for comission smh and you can just tell they dont know much about games

Both the website and google say closing at 10. My boyfriend called the store 3 minutes before close and made it pretty obvious he was stoppping by and they failed to mention they close at 9. Awesome

Game Stop is nothing but a big scam. My boyfriend bought me a preowned Wii and Just Dance 2018 from there for Christmas. When I set it up, I was trying to update the system and an error popped up. Basically what happened was the person who owned it before modified the system so we couldnt update it. So he sent the Wii back and bought me a new one from somewhere else. I just got the new Wii today and it works great but when I went to put the game in, it wasnt in the case. I left the disc in the other Wii. So we called and they said they shipped the Wii to a warehouse. My boyfriend asked for a number for the warehouse and they said they didnt have one. I know for a fact that they have to check their systems and games before they send them anywhere or give them to someone to buy. So I know they have my game and theyre being greedy and dont wanna give it back. And you know what? Its okay I dont want it back. But I do want them to give my boyfriend his money back because yall are wrong for what youre doing. Yall just lost a customer. See ya.
