Just stopped in to get a cup of coffee. It was not hot and tasted burnt. It was not my first choice to go, but I was on that side of town and they were open. I have always expressed to many people that the coffee always taste bitter and burnt to me and I enjoy a good dark roast. Staff was friendly and polite, the coffee just lacks something.

Ordered from the app. Arrived at the store and didnt see my order, so I waited. It wasnt busy so I figured it wouldnt take that long... After about 15 minutes of just standing at the pickup counter, I politely asked one of the 4 baristas about my order, and I showed her what I ordered on my app and I finally received my order (just one drink). What bothered me was they just let me stand there for that long and didnt say a thing. Nothing. A little friendly customer service goes a long way.

I worked at South 16 Apartments so I was a frequent flyer at this shop. By far, my favorite! My order is always different but no matter what, it was always fabulous. The staff always went above and beyond in service and I can’t recommend this shop enough! I’m so sad that moving and leaving South16 means I’ll be unable to visit. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

To be honest I only stopped at this starbucks due to a flat tire after an incredibly long night shift at Carilion Hospital. However, an employee working there named Robert (working on March 27) came out to help me lift my 4runner with a terribly raggedy jack and refused to accept any kind of tip or payment in return. He was the only reason I tried this Starbucks, was superbly impressed by it, and will happily return before my future night shifts. The customer service was unmatched and beyond earned my loyalty. If this is the norm for this chain then they all genuinely deserve a raise, I was incredibly impressed all around.

Fantasticly reliable and reliably fantastic. Example: accidentally sent a drink order to the wrong store, made it for me on the spot no questions asked. Great staff and managers.

This Starbucks has killer drinks, great quality! Teas and refreshers come shaken ✅💯 never been indoors, but drive-thru moves at a pleasingly leisure pace. Really great staff at window!

An amazing experience from entrance to exit. I tried all kinds of drinks, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods.The employee named Will deserves a promotion as he graciously helped me to feel at home, answered all my questions and explained how the rewards card and star points system works. Now Ill be ready to test out my new skills next time I go in for a refuel!I would definitely recommend this Starbucks location for anyone considering checking it out.

We had our drinks made twice by the same person. They had no taste. Someone dosent know what they are doing. What a waste of money

This has, hands down, got to be the WORST location Ive ever been to. Their drive through has been out of order for days for all but App Orders. There were (literally) double the amount of employees as customers, yet my simple dark roast took 8 minutes to come out. What happened as I hurriedly walked out to deliver this coffee to my family member in the hospital? Of course the lid wasnt pressed on properly by staff and scalding coffee got all over my hands.Kind of amazed I didnt get a sorry. How in hell can I spend this much for a coffee and have a sub-McDonalds grade experience? Can I talk to a manager please? If it didnt hurt, it would be laughable.

Cool Location & Friendly Staff

I am a total fan of their drive thru. I must say, I have only been inside twice, but each time the line was short and the staff was nice. The drinks are always perfect. I really love the drive thru, because the staff is super cool and polite. Just a heads up, anytime after 9:30am is better than the morning rush. Your patience WILL BE tested if you visit between 7:30am - 9:30am.

Wish we had one in my home town. Love the caramel ridden crunch Frappuccino 😋

This Starbucks is in an older building with really neat architecture. The staff is fast and friendly. It was a great experience while visiting Roanoke. I am sure we will visit it again before we leave. Our drinks were great.

Each Starbucks is not the same and this is my favorite location in Roanoke. Colonial location is a close second. My drink is never wrong or off. There is always the right amount of syrup in my flavored lattes and the staff are always smiling and personable.

This particular Starbucks is my favorite. The workers are so super friendly and helpful. Im a rewards gold card member and when it messed up they were very helpful and patient. They have actually never messed up my order but Im sure if they did they would fix it without a hassle. Definitely recommend this specific Starbucks in the Roanoke area.

Just got one of the best made caramel Frappuccinos that Ive had in a long time. I always ask for extra ice because without it, the drink usually melts within 5 minutes. The problem is with extra ice not every Starbucks gets it right. It seems like the Barista added a little more flavoring to compensate for the extra ice. A very good drink.

Good Starbucks but it fills up with medical students from the college pretty fast. It could have probably been built a little larger. Another positive is that Starhill brewery is right beside it along with Moe S.

I was the first customer of the day and the employees were still setting up at 5:01 in the morning. But they got my coffee quickly and it was so good. I used the Starbucks app and it to worked like a charm. I stayed for a little wifi and then hit the road, great little shop and Ill be back.

Its a Starbucks. If you dont know what to expect, well, check Wikipedia. This is one of the better ones IMHO. Actually, thinking about it, Starbucks has changed their menu with more sandwiches, most of which might be described as breakfast sandwichs and include beacon and cheese. As thats my primary food group Im happy with the changes 😊

I wish I knew the names of the people on staff tonight (11/12/15). They were amazing. The tall brown hair cashier had the patients of a God trying to explain different drinks to a guy. The short cute blond girl that helped me was extremely nice and helped me out... apologized for the wait and made my drink on point. Props to you two. You both deserve a huge raise for your work tonight. Ill be telling all the nurses to stop by :)

Staff are friendly, but twice in two days my order has been wrong. Yesterday my iced white mocha came out as an iced mocha, today it is a hot white mocha. I go there before work and by the time I waited in the drive thru line no time for them to fix it, and honestly didnt want to make the rest of the people behind me wait for them to fix it.

I definitely think this is the best location in Roanoke. They have the advantage of being roomier inside, with plenty of available seating at almost all times. The parking lot, while not perfect, still beats most others. It almost seems like a bad parking lot is a prerequisite for Starbucks to build a store 😂 but that’s not all that’s good here. Employees are agreeable, friendly & make things to my satisfaction. I also like the coffee grounds they put out for the garden. I’ve gotten them more than once.

I love Starbucks but this particular one is ridiculous. The sheer number of times they have messed up my drink nearly defies logic. If you want your drink made correctly, I recommend going to the Starbucks on Colonial Avenue near Towers, or Mill Mountain Coffee.

Good, typical Starbucks, modern, has decent seating and well located somewhat close to downtown! If I needed a cup of coffee I would stop by.

It has a drive through, and the parking lot is big enough if you like to stay inside. Baristas are nice, but not too many seats if you dont like to share a big table with others.

No one could tell me anything about the drink. I am allergic to strawberries & Wanted to know if strawberries are in a Dragon fruit drink.

They dont like to wait on Christian customers and they offend many customers especially in the united kingdom

Used to go here everyday to get my coffee before going into the hospital and they were quick and attentive. Now everytime I go (i order the exact samething each time which is very simple) they are either falling behind and its 15-20 min wait, they dont get my drink right, or they hand me the wrong drink which they used to as well look at what the drink was and recite it back. Place has gone downhill since its opened. Luckily theres another starbucks not to far but very sad
