My poor phone had been through it! This last time I dropped it, it wouldn’t turn on and I thought it was done for. These two gentlemen were so kind and patient with me! They fixed my phones screen in less then an hour and even took the time to talk to me about other issues I’ve ran into. Anyways they were so kind and helped me with everything. Thank you so much I will be back!!!!

The entire team was friendly and efficient. Cost was reasonable for the fix after being quoted over $300 at another repair shop. Thank you, Cell Phone Repair. My daughter is happy to have her phone back so quickly.

I took my iPhone that was soak in water for eval and repair. The next day Blake the technician called informing me that the phone was back to normal but was vibrating too much. I this phone agreed to proceed and when I picked up the phone the back camera was not working and I then noticed that the camera lens was broken.Blake then informed me that the camera was broken when I brought it in. This is not true since he did not mention the broken camera when he called twice (I have a recording of this phone call). The next day I called the store and talked to William who claim to be the manager. William was very unprofessional and confrontational claiming that there was a video recording when I brought the phone in showing that there was a broken back camera. I went to the store to see the video. He did not show me the video. Something is fishy with these guys and I hope the real manager and owner will look into thisAfter this post the CPR regional manager Chris adkin got in touch with me. He was very receptive to my concerns and promised to fix the problems which he did on august 31st free of charge. I appreciate this.

I came to CPR Cell phone repair on 4/19/21 and ordered a screen for my samsung s20 FE. I had cracked my screen. I was told that it may take 4 to 5 days to come in. Well, my screen came in today (4/20/21) and i was told that the service repair would take 2 to 3 hours and i said i would get my nails done next door to them so i would be here for a little bit if they needed anything from me. MY PHONE WAS FIXED BY THE TIME MY NAILS HAD FINISHED DRYING!!!!! So it wad done in less time than was originally stated to me. Dakota and the rest of the guys are great!! They took good care of me!

This is where my family will take our phones from now on. Ive heard that previous management left something to be desired, but current management is outstanding. My wife and I have both had incredible service from Dakota and his team. Great mix of tech know-how and customer service. My iPhone 6 from 2015 was dead and Dakota recommend I not pay $200 for a repair to a phone that is quickly becoming obsolete. After I got a new phone from our provider, Dakota provided an incredibly affordable service to salvage tons of family photos and phone contacts. He also showed me how to backup my current phone so I dont find myself in this situation again. (Its probably clear that Im not tech savvy and I am grateful to have a local franchise that doesnt take advantage of that!)

CPR Repair is outstanding in every way! I took my iPhone in for an issue that my carrier told me was VERY difficult to change. The manager had this done in 10 min.! He was so friendly, not to mention knowledgeable, but perhaps what I appreciated most was that he was willing to explain everything that he was doing to my phone settings as he went along. My visit was a real education! Consider this business if you purchase a new phone and need someone to set it up for you start to finish or just something small that you need corrected. CPR Repair will save you time and lots of frustration!

I brought my IPhone 6 in for repair after dropping it in juice, i thought it was done for, their wasnt any sign of life from my eyes, now mind you this phone has priceless photos and memories of loved ones who has now passed on, but William the very kind technician who i spoke with said he had high hopes for my phone and would do everything he could to bring it back, hearing that made me feel so much better, he had the phone maybe an hour 1/2 and i had got a call saying he had gotten it back up and running, he was truly my angel that day without him i would have lost so many sentimental items that i would have never been able to get back, highly recommend this place to ANYONE!!!Thank you CPR i really appreciate you all!

As a family, weve used CPR services at Towers Mall numerous occasions over the years. Mostly battery replacement for mobile phones and the replacement of a tablet screen. After receiving free diagnostics to track down an issue, instead of costly repairs, we ended up purchasing cables and other accessories for our mobile devices at CPR. This saved us money and time. Most recently, a battery replacement on a Motorola cell phone resulted in a screen malfunction after the new battery was installed. Shop manager Dakota quickly replied to my Facebook Message after I complained and suggested I call him to discuss the issue and hed make things right. Dakota gave me the choice of a new screen or refund for the battery replacement. We chose the refund since it was a 3 year old phone we were going to replace. I was impressed with Dakotas handling of our problem with CPR. Very professional and much appreciated.

If I trust anyone with my devices it’s these guys. Never had a bad experience and definitely recommend them to anyone I know needing a repair or new device. Quick turn around on your repairs and top notch work.

I love this place. I have teenagers that are hard on their devices. CPR has fixed a PS4 and a laptop for me. My daughter spilled Sprite in her laptop and I figured it was probably toast, but CPR was able to revive it for only $40. I was thrilled. They do great work.

I came in with a phone that would not charge. I left 5 minutes later with a fully functioning phone. The guys were super friendly more than fair.

I took my cellphone in to have the camera repaired. They charged me $52 (paid up front) to replace the glass cover and then told me that the camera itself would need to be replaced at a cost that would be more than the phone was worth. They refused to refund any money.

Well mannered, kind gentleman cleaned my charging port out in less than five minutes. Sorry about the pocket gross in there, lol. Wide selection of glass screen protectors, and decent cases. All employees were masked.

U.S. Cellular recommended this company for a repair to my phone. They ordered the part and completed the repair within 48 hours. Although Samsung would have given me a new phone, I would have lost data, including my old text messages. This company saved me. The general manager was very informative and fair, and the cost of the repair was more than reasonable.

I got two iPhones repaired very quickly for a reasonable price.I have a tablet and an xbox that Im gonna try. These guys are great.

I called about a phone repair and was quoted a price. I go to the store and was quoted a higher price. The guy asked me which day I called and I told him and he said I don’t see that in our computer. I then showed him where I called the location and he said I would have to call my manager and then began helping someone behind me in line instead of being professional and calling his manager like he said he would.

I have a Google pixel 3XL and originally ordered my screen protector from CPR and they told me it would be in in two weeks. A month later I recieved it. I hoped that since my phone was newer at that point it would be a fluke, but sure enough I go in to have them replace it when it cracked and they tell me they dont have them in stock and it would be two weeks. Three weeks later it isnt in. Customer service used to be good here and I have had them repair my stuff before with no issue but since the place has changed names it has become poor. And dont sell things that require replacements if you dont keep them in stock or cant get them in a few days.

Beware! Horrible place! Unprofessional customer service! I dropped off a device last November to have check and I was told 3 days, It took a month, they haven’t fix it and I told them just give it back to me and I’ll find another repair shop, it took 5 minutes to other repair shop to fix my phone right in front of me! it took month to theirs and they hide inside to fix it and stays that long! The other place, took 5 minutes to fix right in front of me! It pisses me off they are lack of communication, I have to call them every other day to check on my item and they always finding excuses and the guy in front is vey rude, he’s a young man and need to educate on how to be a good customer service assistant! I was given several excuses as to why their service was so bad. They had never called me once in the past month, Every time I had been given empty promises and they never return my deposit even they never fixed my phone. The guy in front just hand me my phone and then turn around without saying anything or don’t even say sorry after waiting for month or don’t even ask if I want my deposit back! I don’t know how this place still run but definitely not worth to come here and don’t waste your time and why they are still in business if they don’t know what they’re doing! HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE ALL AROUND! THIS PLACE IS PATHETICALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.Do not ever use this company! I dropped off a device to have the screen repaired, I was told one week, on August 28. Today is November 22 and I finally forced them to just give it back to me still broken. The owner is a elderly gentleman who seems very kind, he is not! I was given several excuses as to why their service was so bad. They had never called me once in the past several months. I have called them over a dozen times and stopped into the store at least four times. Every time I had been given empty promises.I believe that they hope you will just forget about your broken device, and they will never have to supply you with the services that you pay for upfront. Honestly, I don’t know how this place is still in business.

We went in on a Saturday and they were really busy, but took time to personally help us! I had shattered my iPhone screen and needed a new one. They checked my phone over well to make sure it had no other issues and had it fixed and ready to go in an hour and a half! The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the service and quick fix!

I brought in my computer because the end of the charger broke off in the charge port, and the port needed to be replaced. I brought it in on a Saturday, March 10. They said they would call me on Monday about what was required. The following Thursday, I called and they said the new port had been ordered, and it would be another five days. Eight days later I called and got voice mail, even though it was 2 pm on a weekday. I never received a call back.On Saturday March 31, three weeks after I dropped the computer off, I called and reached a live voice. First they asked me to describe my computer so they could find it. Then they started to disassemble it while I was on the phone (they had never started working on it). The owner confirmed that no port had ever been ordered. He said that because it was almost five oclock, they would not be able to finish even disassembling my simple laptop. I asked them to put the computer back together and I would just pick it up.My husband went by on Monday midday to pick it up, and they handed him a box with the disassembled computer in it. He advised them that this was not acceptable and that he would be by three hours later and the computer had better be reassembled. They did at least finally put it back together, and gave it back to us.My husband requested a refund of the $50 they had collected over three weeks earlier. They told him they would call and cancel the charge (that is not how credit refunds work). Needless to say, I have not received a refund. I emphatically do not recommend this place.EDIT: After waiting for five days for a refund, I contacted my bank to dispute the charge. Over a week after I contacted my bank and posted this review, on April 13 I finally did receive a credit to my card for the $50 diagnostic fee. This has not changed my opinion of Digital Doc.

Brought my laptop to Digital Doc 2 years ago to be diagnosed and fixed. It was a HP Pavilion laptop and they told me the motherboard was dead and needed to be replaced. Charged me $166 for a comparable motherboard and emailed me saying they will get it fixed. 2 years and 8 months after dropping my laptop they haven’t fixed it. I wonder if they put it in the trash or stolen it.

My husband and I have used Digital Docs services for several computer and phone repairs and have been very pleased with the results. The staff is always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The service is fast. Digital Doc is our go-to repair service.

These guys are above average repair personnel. I know that sometime repair costs seem exorbitant but the fact is that most cell phone displays are integrated with a digitizer which really makes the parts quite expensive. As hard as some of these estimates are to swallow I doubt you will get a better estimate and definitely not a better job for the cost in a timely manner.

A simple screen replacement I had to take back 3 times. They replaced the screen, got home and my earpiece was not working. Took it back, got home and my screen had lines in it. Took it back and it finally worked. Come to find out after taking it to another shop in town how bad of a job they did. Left screws out from the inside of my phone, didnt put plates back on. Cables out of place. They do not care for your device. Would not recommend.

Fixed my Google pixel 2 power button. Didnt have to do much but get some debris out of it but they were quick honest and friendly. thanks again for the help!

Ive been here twice..ime friendly and competent people. The cost for drying out a phone, to include minor breakdown and alcohol bath, is 35 dollars...not cheap imo. However the service i received was top notch. Special thanks to Brian for going above and beyond in order to retrieve and transfer all my contacts and such from a dying phone. Hes sharp, efficient, and very helpful.

I have had many issues through the past several months with a wide array of devices ranging from my cell phone on down to my laptop and even my tablet. Poor choice for Mac computers.I brought my Macbook Pro to Digital Doc as I had good results restoring my i-pod when I came here about a year ago.My Mac was having issues booting up. I brought it in on a Friday as soon as they opened, and let them know, multiple times, that it was time sensitive, as I was leaving on an out of town trip on Tuesday that required use of a functioning laptop computer. When I called Friday at noon, I was told that they were very busy and would call me at 4:30 with an update. I called them at 5 after not hearing from them and finally managed to get in touch with a tech. He said the issue was either the hard drive (easy fix) or motherboard (not easy and expensive fix). He said he would call me by Saturday at noon with an update.I never received a call on Saturday, so I went down around 1:00. The tech seemed to have forgotten what he told me the previous day and was now saying it looked like a graphics issue and started trying to look up solutions on his phone. He finally said (close to 2 hours later) that he needed the start-up disc, which I did not have, because my computer did not come with one. He said he could work around that.I reiterated for the third time that I needed a computer for my trip, and could I have an expected time when it would be done. No one could tell me, so I eventually ended up scrambling for a replacement when they said they would call me by noon Monday with a verdict.Well, I was shocked when someone actually called me, but it was the receptionist and she had no new information for me. I was fed up at this point and went to the store to pick it up and the technician wasnt even there.I called Audiotronics and described the problem and they were able to diagnose it as an issue with the motherboard in less than 5 minutes, over the phone.I completely understand that sometimes it takes a while to figure out what is wrong with a computer and sometimes it takes several days to fix, but if that was the case, they should have told me straight up instead of stringing me along with false promises and outright lies. I had been told they would call me 3 times, and it only happened once.The only good points was that they didnt charge me, but I would have much rather paid to have a functioning laptop. They have lost a customer, I will never go back.

There are several good computer repair businesses in Roanoke--Digital Doc is not one of them. After 2 months, three unfulfilled promises to call, and the final result that they were unable to fix my computers, I will not use these unprofessional and unskilled order-takers again.

I am amazed !! My phone had a plastic piece from a mini stylist that had broken off in the port where you plug in headsets or ear buds. I tried to get it out I only made it worst. I checked at other places here in town, but they would not do anything without me paying $ 50.00. So I was given a business car and then went to Digital Doc at Towers Shopping Center in Roanoke, VA. The tech said No problem I gave him my information and said It could be about an hour. So waited in the store. Low and behold 20 minutes later the piece was out and I paid quite a bit less then $50.00. I am so happy they fixed my phone and now I can l use my earbuds to listen again to things on my phone !! If you have any phone or laptop go see them, the staff is knowledgeable and very great to work with !!

CPR is the best repair shop in the Roanoke Valley in my own personal opinion they are fast and knowledgeable and their prices are unmatched!!!!

I took my phone in 2 1/2 weeks ago and we kept getting the run around of why my phone isnt repaired. Went in to try and get my phone back and a refund which cost us $370 and they want to charge us $70 to refund us. I still dont have my phone but I will be in there tomorrow to get my phone and my money.

After 2 weeks to repair a broken charge port my phone was returned to me with broken speakers and a broken microphone. Its been at the store for a week now while they are diagnosing my broken speakers and microphone. **Edit** They made it right by giving my wife a new phone. While our experience wasnt stellar they did the right thing and made things right.

I found digital doc to be frustrating.... I dropped my phone off Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Then today ( monday) I had to call them twice... Then stop by to get an answer, which was sorry cant fix it, not sure what the problem was ... Glad I spent the $30 diagnostic fee for that helpful advice.**update** manager did call and apologized for the lack of communication. I feel like he cares about the overall satisfaction of his customers.

Unhelpful with my questions about QI charging for my phone, and very condescending about my phone not being the latest iPhone or Samsung. Overall rude, wont go back. *Edit: Manager called me and apologized for my experience. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident. Things happen, will try again if I need their services.Edit 2: (03/2020) New owner has vastly improved the business. Very happy with the recent battery replacement on my Pixel. The new staff is also great and courteous. Night and day from my experience a few years back.

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! I took my phone in to have the screen replaced. Called on a Saturday and was told to bring it in on Sunday and it would be replaced in one hour, while I waited. I spent 4 hours waiting on the simple replacement, while the technician stopped working on my phone and answered the phone or talked to everyone who walked in off the street. The owner never came out from the back to assist. Then I went back to have the battery replaced and again, waited 3 hours while the same thing occurred with the poor technician. Customers were upset and complaining to the technician. Again, the owner was afraid to deal with anyone. Finally, I went in the back and confronted the owner who said that he had lost two technicians due to complaining customers......NO KIDDING! The battery was finally installed but the phone was dead. I was told that it got screwed up because the customers were interrupting the technician. He got it working but when I got home, it was dead. WHAT A ZOO.....A TERRIBLE WAY TO RUN A SMALL BUSINESS! The owner told me that I would have to leave the phone for 2 days to check the battery. NO THANKS!

I took my Samsung Tab S3 tablet to Digital Doc in Roanoke (also trading under the name CPR) because it would not charge. The technician promptly looked at it, took it into the shop and diagnosed the problem as a bad battery. He advised me that it would take two weeks to get it back to me because opening the tablet to access the battery required care and he also preferred to use an exact replacement battery rather than an after- market substitute. I agreed and appreciated his approach. I paid the $30.00 labor charge and he said that they would charge me for the new battery when I picked up the tablet.A little after two weeks I went to Digital Doc to get my tablet and was told that they had not even looked at it!I told them to just let me have it back and refund my $30.00 payment. The technician asked to give him a few minutes to look at it right then. He went back into the shop and came out with a test lead. He plugged it into a wall socket and it didnt work....He said it must be a bad socket and tried another wall socket in which it did not work either and said the test lead must be bad or have a short. He then tried their charger and couldnt get it to work apparently due to a bad cord. It was the only one they had. He asked if I brought mine and of course I didnt since there was no reason for me to carry a wall charger with me....Again I asked for them to just return my tablet and give me a refund. The lady at the desk said that only the owner could do that...and he wasnt there.I took my tablet, and at home did a little on-line research on the problem and tried a few different suggested re-boots. The tablet started accepting a charge. It fully charged and after a few self updates it works fine!The next day while out at the mall, I stopped in to see the owner for my refund. I told him about my tablet and how I fixed it without surgery. He said that it is not unusual for them to take the units apart to diagnose the problem. When I inquired about my refund, he said that the lady who works the desk has to do it and she was not in !! I told him she said HE had to do it...he said he authorizes it... but only SHE can issue the credit....I have spoken with Digital Docs franchise corporate office about my experience and issue several times. The customer relations person I spoke with was very professional and concerned. She said that she had e-mailed the owner, but apparently was ignored.She said to expect the credit within a week. I waited 2 weeks and still ...no credit.I called and spoke to the owner who told me that they had issued the credit, but apparently it had not been processed. To date I have not received the credit.While being professional, and I feel genuinely concerned, It appears that the corporate office for Digital Docs has little control over their franchisees.It appears that Digital Doc has a major problem with malpractice!

Dropped my iPhone 6 Plus and broke the screen. The guys at Digital Doc had me up and running again in less than 30 minutes! Definitely coming here for all my electronic needs from now on!
